Very helpful, very energetic. His examples don't mirror the assignments well. Fair tests, though, and they are based on the notes.

Excellent class notes, lectures are concise and relevant. Makes complicated lessons seem obvious. A superior instructor in ever way. Animated, funny, develops an instant rapor w/ students. Should be your first choice when selecting your math courses.

Definatly one of the most enjoyable classes that I have. His notes although long, are very comprehensive so when you're studying for tests or doing assignments, you won't be left out in the dark. Explains things extremely well. Highly recommended.

Although this is a very hard class, Fallat made it easy to understand. The midterms and final were fairly hard, but if you did all of the extra assigned work questions were somewhat similar

Was not excited to take this class, but it turned out to be my best mark largely in part to having Fallat. Lots of examples which help you along, also the stuff he teaches is consistent with whats on assignments and on the midterm. Gives you the opportunity to succeed in the class

Awsome prof!!! Who knew stats could be enjoyable? Relates statistics to the real world. He's very consistent with questions from assignments onto exams. If you want to take stats 151, take it from Fallat.

Great prof, the best that I've had yet. He makes sure that people understand before he moves on. He gives tons of examples and his assignments relate to his tests. He also give you exercises to work on if you want to, which really helps keep you up to date. DEFINATELY take a class from him!!!

Fallat is a great guy. Always upbeat and energetic, definantely a good class to have at 8:30! His notes are thorough and he includes lots of examples. Always stops to make sure nobody is lost. Assignments were fair and prepared you for the midterms. Overall a great prof and nice guy.

Incredible prof! I am just absolutely in love with him. So helpful! So easy to comprehend! My two highest marks have been in his class. If you get the chance - choose Fallat as your prof! You definitely won*t be disappointed in what you get out of it (knowledge and a great mark)!

Pay attention and show up in class and you'll do fine. This prof took a dull and boring class like statistics and forged it into something I want to major in...if of course it didn't mean that I had to take a statistics course from a prof other than fallat. Best prof I've had yet.

hes awesome..makes stats easy to understand and explains in detail..you dont get a formula sheet for his midterms, but you can eliminate the midterms if you dont like your marks and make the final worth 85%, great teacher..his jokes are funny.....sometimes.heh.

Shaun is amazing. He is an easy marker and will always be lenient if it means the student will get a higher mark. He's fun and funny and loves class participation. U of R could use more profs like him.

Go to class because all of the examples he shows in class are exactly the same on his exams. He also made class fun and interesting and he is extremely funny. It was one of my fave classes!

Shaun is an amazing prof. He is crystal clear and SUPER Organized. Must attend class as notes are not online. He goes through many examples and his exams are basically the same as on assignments or ones he does in class. Overall take this class from him. HE is AMAZING> and nice to look at.

Shaun was really awesome, he knew what he is talking about and makes sure everyone does too. He gives you exercises out of the textbook, you dont have to do them but they really help when it comes to tests and assignments. The midterms and assingments weren't hard. I would recommend Shaun to anyone who doesnt like math or isnt good at it.

WOW. I loved this class. Fallat made everything so interesting and completely clear. He is very nice to look at too... Very compasionate marker, gives points for almost ful points done right, even if answer is wrong. Really Enjoyed his class. Made me love math even more!

I think Shaun is a great prof but that could just be because Stats comes easy to me. It's true though that he doesn't take a lot of time to give extra help and he always seems like he's in a rush. But his notes are crystal clear and super organized and he's always joking around and having fun. I would recommend him to anyone taking Stats.

WOW! One of my favorite profs by far! I hate anything to do with math and stats and Shaun made this class fun. He's a goofy, young prof and knows how to connect with students. He also knows his stuff so any questions you may have will be made crystal clear!

Excellent prof! Gives the best notes of what you need to know and is extremely clear. Switches the weight of midterms and finals so that you get best possible grade. His midterms are easy, if you just study the assignments. Cheat sheets are allowed. About 7 or 8 assignments that are fairly easy if you have a friend. Good, easy class! He is awesome!

This man is one of my favorite proffs. Engages class, and wicked sense of humour. He does criticize students who answer questions incorrectly during lecture, but in a playful way that encourges you to see the fault in your own answer. Definately can't wait to take another class with him.

Really enjoying the class. I came in worrying needing a pretty good mark. But Sean gives vary good notes to learn off. With a little bit of homework doing the practice questions anyone can do well. The mid term questions are very far to what is being taught in class some are off the assignments I enjoy his humour in class as well. Very approachable

I can't even express how much I love this man. His classes were interesting and hilarious all the time. If you do the recommended problems the material is really straight forward. Exams were easy if you studied for them. 100% recommend him to anyone!

Now see! this are the things you need to do. first go to class, copy all his notes, study hard, do the assignments and understand them well and lastly think outside the gap because he sets some conceptual questions on his tests. if you can do all this, you will be 100% fine in his class. grab him fast.

He is a fantastic professor. Takes his time to answer questions and explain things in as many ways as possible until it is clear. Math 122 is a hard class and mostly proof and theorem based and he makes sure to explain all of these carefully. Attending this class is important because things he says WILL be on the exams

He focuses on proofing and theories but explains things very well. he will prepare you well for later statistics courses. He is also a funny guy but his tests won't be easy.

He's one of the best professors I have had. He is friendly and is always ready to help you. He can make fun of himself and the class and lectures are always entertaining. The tests are fair and if you learn the material, you will get a good mark.

Best prof ever ever ever

One of the best Math Professors you could get at the university. He breaks down very complicated calculus 2 concepts and makes them easy to understand. He does the perfect amount of theory and then example.

Great prof, tests are hard if you only study his notes. Make sure you practice questions from the text book.

I really enjoyed this class. He was always ready and able to help outside of class if you weren't sure about an assignment or even just a small question. His lectures really helped with the material and were exciting. I would recommend buying the textbook. It helps if you want to try extra questions or for examples.

Shaun is the most genuine & brilliant guy. Gives lots of examples that are similar to assignments (5 total) and midterms (2). Crucial that you attend class and write down everything since the course covers a lot, but he explains it so it makes sense. Responds to emails super fast & always willing to help. Do the practice finals & STUDY!

Shaun is awesome! Lectures were entertaining even though it was math, quizzes/tests arent super diffult as long as youre prepared. Rating: 9/10

Great professor in terms of teaching but tests and quizzes are insanely hard. I would recommend taking his class if you intend to pursue further math but not if you only need one class like for Business.

Shaun is a pretty brilliant guy. You can clearly see he wants his students to succeed, and he has a passion for teaching. His lectures are heaving and quite a bit of material is covered in Stat 160, but he is always more than willing to help students who have questions. Lecture and assigned material/practice questions are great practice for exams.

Best prof I ever had in my Math Majors. All you have to learn is the basic concept he taught in class and you can easily pass the course with him.
