He's an extremely gifted professor. He looks a lot different with his beard than his pictures on his website. He is very fair in class. The only professor that focuses on getting recognition for the program. He's a research oriented, ethical leader in the field and he knows what he is talking about. The best professor in the program. He has oodles of experience all over the world. I wonder what agency he works with. Very intelligent and well traveled. Prof was excellent. He has a lot f connections & really cares about his students. Ask to do extra research, submit your work to the JMH, & ask him if you can do work that would be presented at Harvard or Cambridge. It helps your career in a major way & sets you apart. He has done over 200 papers with students. Tough but fair.

4.8 is below his latest student evals which he sent to all of us. What happens is students either love or hate him and those that hate him drop out as they don't want to do the work. He gets UG's to have papers at Harvard & Cambridge & has multimillionaire guest speakers who attest that he knows what he is talking about. He cares & it shows.

class seems easy but you learn a lot. It is important to attend class & do the assignments. I checked him out & he does do work with people from the National Security Division of the Exec. Office of the President & has an unused State Dept. e-mail. His stories are great and he'll give you opportunities that no other prof. present you with.

Take him while you can before he leaves UTD. He actually cares about students & learning. He wants you to do well. Take advantage of the opportunities that he presents as once he is gone no other prof. is going to make these types of opportunities available. Attend classes & take it seriously. Dr. K certainly sees him as a threat to mediocrity
