Professor K is a real nice person and a good teacher. He made everyone very comfortable the first day and I know we all look forward to his class! He teaches in plain language and not math language so it is very easy to understand.

Cant say enough good things him! It takes a certain kind of quality to make a statistics class enjoyable. He's not like most Math professors who are socially akward. He's down to earth, funny, & really cares about his students. He also makes things easy to understand &doesn't over complicate things. So THANKFUL to have him at Blinn here in Bryan!!

Uncle Shawn is the most entertaining math professor I have ever had. I took him 2 semesters in a row. He will go over something 100 times if someone doesn't understand and he's good with making it as easy as possible for us.

I never rate my Professors but this Professor is totally worth it. He always made the class laugh and the lectures were easy to follow. He made it a point to get back to every single email, and truly showed that he cared about his students. I wish I could take all my Math course with this Professor. HIGHLY recommend him!!

I took Calc in high school so this course was easy for me since it was review. If anyone rates him bad, they didnt try enough . He goes over topics quickly so If you dont understand calc you will need to be prepared to teach yourself everything. Exams are just like the hw, extremely easy. If you dont try, expect to fail.

A very simple class given the transition from in person to online. I also took calculus AB in hs so this was pretty simple and easy. If you took a calculus course before youll be fine, if not just make sure you understand the concepts. He used MML for lectures, exam and hw, so no lectures were made by him. Would definitely take him again!

Im really bad at math and having Shawn as a prof is the only reason I passed. Ive taken him for business math and elementary statistics and he was great for both. Hes always ready to help and the most helpful when you have specific questions. He doesnt show favoritism so your grade will be 100% based on how well you know the material.

Took Professor Shawn for back to back semesters and he was nothing short of amazing! Sometimes i even forgot that he was my professor. Just keep up with homework and office hours and everything will be ok. Exam reviews were very helpful too.

I took this class as a Summer I course so in general it was accelerated & lots of content was covered. But, that did not change the fact that Professor Shawn was always very responsive to email, discussion boards, & office hours. He welcomed questions & wanted to make sure we mastered the content. The Test Reviews gave great practice for the tests.

Wonderful prof! I had taken stats at TAMU before and dropped, took this class over the covid 2020 summer and actually understand stats and did well!! You can tell he cares for his students and is a great communicator! the material was clearly laid out on MML and if you can do the reviews you will have no problem on the test! 10/10 recommend

Professor Khorsandravan is the most down to earth and caring professor you will take! He dedicates his time to his students, and ensures that you understand the material. I have never received a grade over a C in a math class, EVER, but with his help I was able to earn an A in a summer course! Best professor ever. I would take him for every class!

Let me preface this by saying I dont do well with math, but I pulled an A in this class during summer. Professor Shawn is incredibly helpful and wants you to master the material. Hes accessible by email and office hours, and really explains the material well when you get hung up on concepts. Do the hw and reviews! 10/10 would take again.

This class requires time and hard work. I took this class in 8 weeks so it was really fast paced. Professor Khorsandravan wants to make sure that you understand what he is teaching, but he also expects you to meet him half way. As long as if you work hard, show up to class, and ask questions, you'll do good. I learned a lot in this class.

This was my second class with him and it was not like the first time but that wasn't his fault. Because of covid half the class is self study and it makes it more difficult even though he has videos. Get ready for a lot of hard work. He will be there to help you and he is very nice if he sees you giving it your best effort. However, if you don't do the work he can change attitude very fast! My study buddy was being absent or late all the time and Shawn did not like it and was direct. If you are a hard worker you'll do ok. His reviews are great

Overall great guy. He genuinely cares about his students and will put in the extra effort to help you if you ask. With the 8 week class, the work definitely adds up but if you stay on top of it, you'll be fine. I wish I was actually in class in person with him because he seems so genuine and passionate about teaching.

He has been one of my favorite professors by far and has made learning math more enjoyable and not as challenging. He really cares about his students and wants to see everyone succeed. Just don't slack off and you will end up with a good grade.

Really cares about you and wants you to succeed, but expects you to put in effort. Exams & Final are open notes, reviews are same as Exams. He is NOT rude but he can get sassy. He has no problem with people willing to do the work & put in effort. I loved how he explained harder topics & simplified it for us. Tries to be available outside of class.

I took Math 1414 this fall with professor K and as someone who not only struggles with math but hadn't taken one in almost 4 years this class was a a lot easier than it should've been. The lectures are extremely helpful on homework's and if anything Professor Khorsandravan Is responsive when it comes to emails.

I was super nervous about taking math, especially online. The class was fairly simple as long as you stayed on top of your assignments. He gave the BEST reviews before exams, and you could use them while taking the test. If you were having any trouble understanding a certain concept, he was more than happy to help with it! Professor Khorsandravan is a GREAT teacher. If you do what he asks, which is clearly stated, you will not only pass but at least get a B. I am notoriously awful at math and I actually understood the material because of him . He was always ready to meet with his students and loves to help out. Professor Khorsandravan makes it easy to succeed in a class that many might struggle at. He designs the reviews to be identical to the test with different number which helps you be prepared for the exam. Many professors make reviews that dont help but his definitely helped me a lot. If you follow directions you will easily succeed.

Shawn was a great professor. Calculus was a hard subject for me to learn, but I'm so glad I didn't take this class with any other prof. His class consists of participation 10%, homework 10%, exams 60%, and final exam 20%. He let us use a cheat sheet for our exams and his reviews were exactly like the test just different numbers/order.

I took calculus with Professor K and I loved every minute of it. Exam reviews look JUST LIKE actual exams but different numbers and order. But the best part of the course were his recorded lecture videos. He dumbs down everything to the point that I felt like calc was easier than when I took Algebra lol. MUST TAKE COURSE!

I took this class in spring and loved every minute of it. He is an amazing Professor who knows how to teach and how to make the class not boring haha. Beware though, you have to work hard.

I had Professor K for 1324 and 1325 last year and he only got better. He does a good job of making his grading system very clear. If you listen to him and pay attention during lectures, you WILL get a good grade. He makes everything very easy to digest. He also skips all the unnecessary stuff so class is usually shorter than what its listed as.

All I can say is that Professor K was nothing short of amazing. There were no extra credits or anything but exams and homework were so reasonable that the only way you wouldn't succeed is if you don't do the work. The exam reviews were very helpful as well.

Took STATS 1342 for 8 weeks and overall the class is fairly straight forward. Tests are written exactly like the reviews that are given. Follow his directions and stay on top of the concepts, it can get confusing!! The final exam is written differently compared to his tests, but as long as you study the final review, you will pass this course.

He is a great professor! Take advantage of the videos for that he provides for HIS lectures. They are much more helpful than the ones on mymathlab. He provides reviews before each test and they help GREATLY be sure to do them. He is easy to talk to and is very understanding, I am glad I took him for business cal!

Best math prof ever. I took his 8 week class and lectures are a little long but he tries to make it fun. Do the reviews and the exams will be extremely easy. (they are almost identical). Homework assignments are on my math lab and they aren't too heavy. I highly recommend taking him!!!

Easy exams which are identical to the test reviews. The final exam was also fairly easy. His lectures are clear and he's pretty funny. HW is done on Pearson and helps a lot with studying. Since the class is "easy" he DOES NOT do curves, extra credit, or any exceptions. Emails back fast but is short w/ his response. I would recommend taking him.

Taking Calculus with Professor K is one of the best experiences I have had at Blinn. He is willing to meet with you on zoom and help you with the material you did not understand when watching the lecture videos. He also has a great sense of humor and a very friendly dude! Given his personality, I can only imagine how much fun his f2f class must be.

Professor Khorsandravan is a professor you need if you want to understand Math. He is straight forward with what he says about grading and assignment along with how tests will go but will give you time to prepare for these things. I took prof. K's online class. It wasn't hard, except for the final which covered some stuff he didn't really discuss in lectures. You have unlimited attempts for the homeworks (which there are a lot of) and he provides reviews for his exams that are extremely helpful. If you struggle with math like I do, he makes it very basic and understandable.

Professor Khorsandravan is a great professor who is clear on what the class will entail. As long as you go to class, do the homework will see that the exams clearly reflect what is taught in class. The final is a little hard, but that is department wide and requires a little more studying. Would definitely retake this class!!!

Professor K was really nice and explained concepts well. I took this class as a 4 week online course so while I had hw almost everyday it was still very manageable. Tests just like review. Just make sure you scan your room well on honor lock so you don't get points taken off. he will work with you as long as you are honest and trying! Great prof!

His lecture videos were great and has clear grading criteria for everything. he is also quick to reply to emails. But be careful. He doesn't make any exceptions. He says it in his announcements, syllabus and emails lol.

The absolute best math professor. He only teaches you the things you need to know. Gives a review just like the test beforehand. Homeworks are online and have a view example and help me solve feature. You can do them as many times as you want to get the grade you want until the due date. Explains everything super well. He is not a pushover by any means. He keeps saying that he doesn't make exceptions and my experience was that he 100% meant it.

Khorsandravan made this class very straight forward and easy. He likes to tell stories during his lectures which makes the class way more interesting. You will also always get out of the class early. The reviews he gives you for every test except the final are pretty much exact copies of the tests which different numbers so they are very easy.

Professor K is very strict with his policies but this dude is as cool as the other side of the pillow. You can tell that he is just one of the "guys" and can relate to you. If you are taking a math class, it is a no brainer to take it with him.

He makes the grading criteria very clear the first day. if you do all the hw, pop quizzes, and exam reviews you will succeed in this class. The test and exams are very similar and the lectures are straight to the point. He does not put up with students that do the bare minimum but if you put in the effort he will be very easy going!

This professor relies on the syllabus. If you don't read it don't bother to email him because it's all in the syllabus. His class is a self taught class if you are online. I respect him because he wasn't difficult, my classmates complained because they didn't want to study. His reviews are carbon copies of the exams. Down to the exact # of q's!

Honestly the best math professor I have ever had. He teaches the subject and explains things very well. On top of that he gives you a review for the exams which not many professors do. It is an 8 week class so stay on top of your work. That being said you need to go to class and pay attention. And if you miss a lecture you're probably cooked.

As someone who gets A's I wouldn't take this as an 8 week class. The exam are easy since the reviews are the exact same thing but there was no preparation for the final which is nothing compared to the other exams. If you're good at math then you'll be fine but if not then I wouldn't take this class. Good professor but the final humbled me.

Good professor, for your sake, DO THE TEST REVIEWS THEY ARE EXACTLY LIKE THE TEST just a small amount of things are changed, such a normal. Check my math lab every day since he does give pop quizzes. You also get an extra 5 points if you take the test online Pretty funny and cool as well. Also look at the syllabus before emailing him...

He has great lectures and will explain everything in a way you can understand it. Be ontop of your work because there are pop quizzes. He was pretty good about 504 accommodations and if you play game his way then he's helpful and easy to work with.

I would 100% recommend his class if you stay on top of your homework and check mymathlab daily you will pass. All the exams are identical to the review so if you do your exam you will get a good grade. He also tells us funny stories so the class isn't boring.

I saw him as one of the few sharper than me… not just clever but wise in a way that bordered on folly. His reviews reflected the exam well, something that is rare nowadays. And his teaching days went by fast thanks to his goofy interactions.

Honestly this was my favorite class this semester. The lectures go by really quickly so if you've never seen the material before it can be a little overwhelming. The exams are easy since he gives a review that is basically word for word what will be on the exam. He's such a fun guy & tells lots of exciting stories. Would 10/10 recommend his class!

If you are willing to take the class seriously, this professor is worth taking. All the homework is online (Mymathlab) and you are expected to check it daily for “pop quizzes”. The reviews are very similar to the test, which is AMAZING! If math is not your strong suit maybe take someone else as he does not explain in great depth sometimes.

His tests are exactly like the review, and as long as you aren't sleeping in class and doing the hw, you should be good; just make sure you keep an eye out for the pop quizzes online; super easy if you catch them.

Professor K is not your typical "math" professor. He is much more personable than even some of my social science professors. Lectures are fun and straight to the point. The only thing that was an issue for me a couple of times is that he does NOT give any extensions whatsoever. Still, If he is an available option, I highly recommend him.

Great professor. He's being honest when he says the final's way harder than the other exams tho. Work is relatively easy, I took it as an 8-week and still wasn't too overwhelmed. He's funny and I like his personality, plus he gave me an A when I ended with an 89 so I don't dislike him at all lol. Class is chill, just study with the Pearson lessons

I took the online class with pre-recorded lecture videos and watching those videos are key to your success as his real life examples help you understand everything better. Amazing and straight to the point professor. you must log in to aleks everyday or you may miss quizzes. He says stats is his passion and it truly shows. Just not the type you can get by with brown nosing lol.
