If you are apprehensive about taking an Accounting course, you MUST take it with Professor Coram! She is very helpful and she combines Blackboard accessibility with her class and it proved to be EXTREMELY helpful. There are also lots of extra credit opportunity. Easy A, but you must study and do the work. Take this course with confidence!!!

Professor Coram was very good at teaching her Marketing Class. The quizzes are tough, but you get a lot of extra credit opportunities. She's also funny and her class was enjoyable. I'd taker her class again.

This class was a lot of fun and the professor was very informative. The homework can be time consuming but everything is done with Excel and the professor has included helpful hints and formulas that tell you if your answer is correct. I enjoyed this class and would recommend this teacher.

Prof. Coram, was fantastic. There is a good amount of work to this class online, but nothing that is not managable. I took her along with three other classes and work full time. I would highly recommend Prof. Coram to anyone.

She is very nice and helpful. Her powerpoints helped with the homework. She is reasonable with grading homework and the tests were online. Understood material but the words she used were too technical. She will explain if you don't understand. Very good teacher.

I never had any interest in finance, but Prof. Coram is the best. Not only was she extremely helpful, she answered questions in a timely manner and was very helpful! If I wasn't graduating, I'd love to take her for other classes!!!

This was a pretty tough class but that's because it's accounting. You have to keep up from week to week and not get behind or else you'll make it hard on yourself. It definitely was not as much work as my Financial Accounting class. Professor Coram answered emails and DB's very quickly and was very helpful. I'd certainly recommend her class.

Prof. Coram was extremely great. She was very helpful and you did not have to wait days for a response, she is on top of her game and made the online class enjoyable. I will say this, don't expect this to be an easy class and only a 1 day a week visit. Finance is a demanding course, but with the help of Prof Coram the class was great!

Teacher is very knownledgeable on the subject matter. Course is very structured and does not have a lot of "busy work". I recommend taking class and plus make sure you take it with her only! Prof. Coram was awesome, and very helpful. She would teach you what the hw was over so it made sense. It was a hard class, since its accounting. I was worried about failing the class but I passed with a B and thats without taking the final. She drops your lowest test score out of 4 tests. TAKE HER!!

Prof Coram was really helpful over the summer for this class. I took this class with her in an eight wk format instead of normal sixteen wk format instead of normal term. There are no group projects and research papers. Just discussion questions, homework, and quizzes. Work isn't hard to complete as long as find a study buddy or utilize the on camp

I took presonal finance with her this fall in an 8 week online class! 3 assignments where you find out about your personal financial standing & 2 quizzes & 1 discussion board each week! She graded everything in a timely manner, and overall is a great professor! HIGHLY recommend taking any of her courses!

Professor Coram is great. She was very helpful at making accounting easier to understand. This was a challenging course! I took the online version and Professor Coram would stream her classroom lectures to make things easier for the online students. She was always quick to answer emails/posts. I squeaked by with an A, but it was not easy!

Very helpful, she broke everything down so you can understand the material.She was cool and avaliable in person or through emails with an immediate response, looks good also.

Professor Coram is great! She obviously is very passionate about accounting and her students! There is homework and a quiz to complete each with and then an exam every 3 weeks or so. There are only 3 discussion boards throughout the entire course and it's all just reflecting on the course, nothing difficult. I highly recommend!

I was unsure with this class at the beginning. The professor said i had a lot going on and should probably wait to take her class when I had more time. I got a B in the class. It wasn't to hard and she was helpful with any questions. I plan on taking her again for other classes.

I think this is a new course for her. If you don't test well, do NOT take her. This course is a lot of work. 2-3 exams, 2-3 assignments, and a DB every week in addition to a written assignment every other week that is *auto-graded* (awful) by mylab. Hate the structure, never knew what my grade was. Prof. Coram is helpful, but workload is nuts.

Hybrid 8 wk class - she reviews the PP the whole class & explains things which was helpful. There is 1 assignment OR 1 exam each week, no DB! Assgmts are thru MyAcctgLab so are the exams. She gives 2.5 hrs & 2 attempts on exams. Plus extra credit if you need it. Buy the book used & the access code new to save $ since you need both for this class.

I took the 8 week hybrid course which required a book and my acct lab. Weekly assignments with 3 attempts to get the correct answer and 4 exams; 50 questions mult choice 2 attempts, 2.5 hours to complete. excellent professor she cares about your success in the course. I would take her again. She is one of the best.

Professor is GREAT. I took the 16 wk hybrid class (meet once a wk). HW, QUIZZES, EXAMS, are all online. HOWEVER the WORKLOAD for this course is time consuming. I could have received a A/B in this course if I wasn't taking 3 other classes plus working a full time job. Extra Credit is available. The book & access code is must.

I ADORED this teacher!!! The class is a lot of work (took it in 8 weeks) but she gives multiple chances for quizzes and homework. There is extra credit also. The book is necessary! I would love to take one of her classes again!

This class was labor intensive, but Professor Coram makes it as easy as it can get. There's lots of reading but she uploads very helpful YouTube videos that simplifies everything. Several tries to get things right. Answers questions quickly. If you do the work, you'll pass the class. Buy the textbook. It's worth the extra $30.

I took this class online and was particularly impressed by the variety of resources she made available, including YouTube videos of key points in the lessons, to help those of us who normally have to teach ourselves. Definitely buy the book as the quizzes draw directly from it. 6 tries per hw, 3 tries per quiz, drop lowest test, 3 easy DB posts.

If you do your work you will pass this class, there is a lot of homework, you have extra time to complete it if you get stuck. Reading is essential or watching the videos. The profit videos are great. Professor Coram is very fair but this class is very intense if and it will consume a lot of your time, her instruction is clear.

Do the time get the A. I have always hated finance classes and this has been the best class I have taken at FSCJ. Her lecture clips are what makes you understand it. Utilize the help button, that is key to see the math.

Do the time, get the A. This class was not my strength. But I did the time each week to do the homework assignments, quiz, and bam A. Fall behind one week and you will not make it. Do the time.

Financial Accounting was a very interesting course where you learn everything you need to know about Accounting. Professor Coram was a very outgoing and very passionate about Accounting. There are four exams in total, extra credit is offered, and she allows one week grace period on the homework. Definitely recommend her if you need Accounting!

Professor Coram was excellent she opened up the work early and let you do it at your own pace. Only one change to take quiz they were a little difficult. Did not have to buy a book it was given online. The other work was fairly easy. She gives extra credit to make sure you get a good grade

I took this class fully online as a transient student, and thought it was a pretty good class. It is accounting though- tough subject. Read her notes and lectures, and understand the homework and you will be fine. Easy to get good grades on assignments and quizzes- tests kind of tricky. No extra credit but she does respond to emails SO FAST.

This teacher does not ask a lot of her students. Do the work, get the grade. She is more than generous with her SIX tries per each homework question. (Quick tip: most HW questions are similar to the "try" previously attempted. Study the attempt before clicking "similar question") 10 points extra credit available. 4 tests, 1 dropped.

Prof. Coram was highly professional and expected the same from us. The homework takes HOURS but that's not her fault. She's very responsive to any questions or help you may need. Do the practice problem, then the homework problem and it's easy to get full credit. I would definitely take her again.

I took her 7-week online Managerial Accounting course over the summer. She truly cares about the success of her students. Her lectures are informative, and the homework gives you step-by-step instructions on how to do a problem if you get stuck. It's a lot of work, but if you put in the time and effort you'll do well in this course.

I took the 7 week online course. Chapters were about 21 pgs. each and the homework was very time consuming. There are 3 exams with a time limit of 3 hrs. I would recommend taking a longer course to help understand the material better. Do the work and you should pass. I'd definitely take her again.

I have taken Prof Coram twice for Financial and Managerial accounting, and I would take her again. Her syllabus is very clear and she allows you to work ahead (online course). Exams every couple of weeks to cover 3-4 chapters worth of material. Reading and Homework/Quizzes assigned for each chapter. It is a decent amount of work but very doable.

Dr. Coram is great. She is professional and personable. She provides students with several different learning materials and is open to help with issues if you are having problems understanding. I would definitely recommend taking one of her accounting classes

If you are nervous about Accounting, take this professor! She is extremely smart, and explains everything you need to do to succeed. You can redo homework problems unil you get them right. Quizzes are not timed, so you can take all the time you need. I had not taken any math in 4 years and passed with an A! She is great!!

I took Financial Accounting in the Fall with Prof. Coram online and could not have been more pleased. The videos she created for the course were so very helpful. I'm taking Managerial Accounting with her this summer and hope to have the same A+ experience.

I loved this class and the professor. This class was a 7 week online course. I will be taking her managerial accounting in the fall. Be prepared for alot of videos, reading, and assignments. Do not procrastinate and leave all assignments for last minute, the videos are alot for one sitting. Make sure you know Excel! I recommend this teacher.

What a great professor! Accounting is one of the most COMPLEX subjects I have ever taken. 7-week online class was very stressful for me, and I would not recommend it for your sanity. Have to study extra hard to do well and don't overfill your schedule! LOTS of reading and videos. However, prof. somehow made it doable. I thank God for her!

This class uses Mcgraw hill connect. This class consists of 11 chapters. Each chapter has concept videos, reading and questions, and a homework assignment. There are 3 exams. Manage your time wisely because you cant do all the assignments of the week in one sitting. The professor is awesome.

Took this online 7 week course. Requires Mcgraw Hill Connect, but Coram provides the most affordable option. The course was a bit too fast paced for me- hence the C. But if you watch the videos and do the work on time, a good grade is VERY doable! If you're nervous about taking accounting, Coram is the way to go. Be prepared to study and work hard!

This had to be one of the easiest accounting classes. Due dates clear each week so you can work at your leisure in case you have a full time job (like me). If you ever run into a problem you can't work out, post on the discussion board and she will tell you exactly what to do. I'm taking her again on my next accth course! Highly recommend!

Dr. Coram is very nice. Her online class is homework heavy, but if you do it all, you are guaranteed to pass. Havent finished yet but ill either end with a low A or a B. I would take her again. She is strict about attending her virtual class though. The homework although tedious is quite easy. No group work or discussion boards either! Take her.

This course is very self-taught and there is ALOT of homework but videos are easy and I got the book on the 1st time around to make notes! Anytime you're stuck, email her and she will help! Touch up on your APA format! 10/10!

I loved this class! I did weekly assignments and the professor even allowed us to use our notes and book on the exams! Definitely more than six assignments a week (I took this during the summer) but worth it!

Professor Coram is such a good instructor. Accounting by itself can be difficult to learn, but she will help if you ask. I took both Financial and Managerial ACG in summer session, so it was very fast paced. Lots of hw, but it prepares you for the test. Take her, you won't regret it!

I was honestly skeptical about taking ACG 2021. Upon starting the class I realized that it wasn't as bad as I was mentally preparing for the worst to come scenario. Overall, there is a bit of homework to do each week. If you pay attention and take notes on your homework you will get an A+! ACG 2071 here I come!

Very easy A. She used a new feature called Perusall and at first it was intimidating but when I tell you it was soo easy to use. Much better than the usual discussions. The entire class was super easy to take, could have taken in my sleep and still pass with an A. The easiest class I have ever taken in the history of FSCJ.

I was very nervous about taking this class as an online course but I am so happy I was able to manage with such wonderful professor. She provided all the materials needed for this course. I took it as Seven-A so bunch of assignments but I managed to get it done in time. I will be taking her as ACG2071 too! I recommend you guys take her as well!

Reading material online textbooks. Assignments no time limit, unlimited tries. Video explanation with each question. Quiz no time limit. Can download and work on it while you read the material. Video lectures are provided. PowerPoints are provided. If you look at all the material you cannot fail. You will learn the right way the first time.

Great class, not super difficult. I turned in most assignments late and she gave me full credit on all of them, no questions asked. One of the few professors I've had that understands sometimes people are busy and miss deadlines and doesn't penalize you over it. Would definitely recommend her class!

This course is an easy A, although the syllabus may contain a lot of assignments. They are straightforward. There are 6 CSR journals, 7 quizzes, 7 Perusall assignments, 7 discussions, a few other assignments, and 2 non-proctored exams. The course uses Perusall, a great way to interact with classmates about the reading material.

Professor Coram is probably my favorite professor so far in my 3 years of attending FSCJ. I have taken 2 of her courses and she makes accounting not so awful. The format of her classes with myopenmath and openstax textbooks not only save students a ton of money but also are extremely helpful resources. She also offers extra credit! 10/10 Take her!!

Professor stayed on topic of the course material. Focused lectures with interactions, videos, and reading materials. I enjoyed that there were several mediums she used in teaching the course content. This is my 2nd time taking this professor and would take her again in the future.

The class itself was challenging and I felt like there should be some type of prerequisite but I'm not strong with numbers so maybe that's why. I watched her YouTube videos and got tutoring help when needed. I survived and would take her course again.

This is the 2nd time that I have taken a class with Professor Coram. I feel as though I had a better understanding of the material in Managerial Accounting than in Financial Accounting. If you review the posted lectures and read the assigned chapters, you will do fine. The professor is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Taking this class, a C-session is not recommended. The course load is extremely heavy. Professor Coram taught very well and while lectures are long, they are beneficial.
