Attend the lectures, take notes (she gives out lecture packets), do the homework, ask questions when you need help & you will pass this class. The book was only used for homework assignments. Sheila is very thorough & patient. I found the class to be very easy so long as I was diligent with the assignments.

Sheila is a genius for not using the online program for homework and tests! I've taken ACC 211 2x prior to her class and had to drop both bc profs relied so heavily on that program. Sheila is very thorough and organized in her own notes and lectures making the material very easy to understand. Quizzes and HW due ea. class so attendance is a must!

Great teacher. She is a great teacher and person. Take advantage of her office hours. She is very patient and will take time out of her day to help students who are falling behind. I would recommend taking her if you get the chance.

Professor Betz is one of the best instructors I have had throughout my college career. She is dedicated to her job, and is very helpful. The class is simply structured, but with an appropriate challenge. Print lecture notes, attend class and ASK questions, and there is no way you will be left behind! Sheila is Incredible!! She lets you know what is expected and how you are to be graded. She makes the material easy to understand and even have lecture notes(you must fill in the blanks in class) that make the material so simple. If you have any questions she is always there to help and always have hours available. Take her, you won't be sorry!

Ms. Betz is a great teacher. Her classes are interesting and she explains everything clearly. She does give a lot of homework, but if you go to class, do the homework, and study your notes and homework then you will get an A. She gave 3 projects during the course, with the second project being a term paper, which was not to fun.

I advise you to take this class at another school. Instructor loves to talk about how easy the class is compare to 300 level class at 4 year school. Go teach at a 4 year school or get me 300 level credit. I did OK but wish I had taken the class at Tyler.

Great teacher! Approachable and very helpful! Responds to emails quickly and has plenty of office hours. Class material is structured well. Plenty of opportunities to collect easy points toward an A. Yes, there is a lot of homework, but she goes over it in class thoroughly. Together with her handouts it's all you need to pass the tests well.

I love love love her! She's very straightforward about what her requirements are, homework, quizzes, and tests. If you have questions, she's happy to answer them. Very helpful and always has available office hours for questions outside of class. Don't take her for an easy A, take her if you want to do the work and earn the A.

Sheila makes accounting make sense and really wants her students to do well. Grades homework for completeness which is a great grade booster if you do it. She is very accessible and wants you to reach out for help. If you want to, you can do well in her course with effort and attendance. Clear lectures with lots of examples.

Ms. Betz expects her students to work hard to earn a grade. She will go above and beyond to help you succeed in the class, but the student must take the do his/her part. If you are hard working and willing to "roll up the sleeves" you will do well in her class. Ms. Betz prepares you for 4 year colleges.

Sheila Betz is an amazing teacher. She is organized, well prepared, and has the entire semester planned out. Homework can be excessive but its the best way to learn the material. Don't expect extra credit because it is only given once or twice but if you need help, she is willing to help.

Sheila is one of the best professors at Reynolds! She is always there if you need help. This class will actually teach you how to do accounting, everything we learn your going to use later. Very good instructor. She uses the book to supplement her instruction, so you are not stuck reading the book and attempting the homework without help. She explains everything clearly. Be prepared to do homework. In order for you to learn accounting, you have to do some homework. She keeps her office hours, so if you need help, she is there.

Greater professor. She is always willing to help you with homework. She is very approachable. Does not use the book, so you do not have to spend hours reading about what some PhD who has no clue how to teach. She does give homework, and yes you must go to class, but if you go to class and do the homework, you will be successful in her class.

This was my first class in accounting. I was worried about accounting. Everything I have ever heard about accounting was that it sucks. This teacher is great. She explains things well. You have to do homework and attend class. If you look at her reviews, almost everyone who gave her a bad review did not do well in the course. Attend class!

She is one of the most helpful teachers I have ever had. She wants you to come to her for help, and I love that she actually wants us to comprehend the material. She embodies, in my opinion, the true definition of a professor. I wish I could take her for all of my math classes.

Professor Betz is amazing! I enjoyed her class very much although i do not recommend to take this class if you have a busy scheduled because you do have to put in the work in order to pass the class. But that is because of the course not the teacher, shes great.

I loved this professor but the work was pretty difficult. She was only a harsh grader on the projects that you can do with a partner. I went to her office hours a lot and she's super helpful. You also must show up to class so you don't fall behind.

I had very few issues with this class, honestly nothing worth mentioning. Betz is very enthusiastic about accounting and obviously loves her subject. I took ACC117 online and for this course you will have required weekly homework and video lectures. If you keep up with the work - it shouldn't be hard to get a good grade. Optional help labs.

Sheila is the best accounting teacher. I took her for ACC 211 and loved her, so I signed up for her again for 212. The material is hard, but she will work with students to help and make sure we understand. Lots of homework and quizzes, but the quizzes and test look like the notes and homework. She makes the class fun and interesting.

I am awful at Accounting but Professor Betz made things easy to understand. There is alot of material to cover so if you miss class you will fall behind. HW is weekly not daily so you have plenty of time to complete it. Projects can be done alone or in groups of two for the most part. Projects are given 3-4 weeks ahead of the due date.

You will have to work and do all the homework to fully understand the course. It can be difficult but she does offer help. One major thing that stresses me out is not knowing your grades on 3 major projects that you did throughout the semester. It has been months and still not graded so not sure what grade youre going to get can be stressful.

This is my third class with Professor Betz, she is a great teacher. She provided multiple ways of learning the material which is rare in online classes. She provides videos of her teaching the subject matter as well as interactive tutorials. She is always available for help. She does take some time to grade projects. Highly recommend

I loved Professor Betz. I wasn't going to do any reviews but felt the need to shout her out on a good review. I loved the way she taught and I actually got something out of her class. I always feared accounting as it was supposed to be super hard but after taking her class I am super interested in accounting. Do not be afraid to take this class!!
