The professor makes work to all homework problems readily available, which is super helpful for people like me, who like to learn by example.

I took this class during the 6-week online summer session. It's a lot of information just cause its calculus put into 6 weeks, but Professor Bercu provides you with the information needed to succeed. She gave a clear grading criteria and I did not encounter any issues.

Honestly, the class material is very difficult (as a non-mathy person) but she does a great job of breaking down the content into nice-sized pieces. Love her positive attitude and the class is SO well organized- it makes it easy to keep track of assignments/deadlines! Her online class included videos she/her husband recorded, homework, and tests.

Easiest and best professor for Calc 2. Her grading consisted of 2 exams 25% each, HW due every Sunday 1.5-3hrs each, but she posts solutions that walk you through how to do every problem on the HWs, and it's more of a completion grade, and then 2 discussion posts per week (EASY). Super straightforward. Definitely recommend taking.

She gives you everything that you're going to need to be successful in her videos. She's also very quick in answering a question that you may have. I highly recommend taking her if you are taking Cal II.

She really cares about her students, and how they perform. If you need the credit and have the chance to take this class, then I highly advise that you go for it.

Professor Bercu was a great professor to have in terms of accessibility and asynchronism. I wish there was less pre-recorded YouTube content as it gets generalized and is not clear when it comes to some of the homework problems. It was a 6-week class so it was fast-paced but I believe her organization helped a lot with the content load.

I can't stress this enough but if you want a decent grade in the class you HAVE TO PARTICPATE. It was a little more difficult for me because I'm working full time at a restaurant and in the military, but as long as you complete the homework and discussions on time then you will be ready for the final exam.

Professor Bercu is a great professor for this asynchronous course, as she is organized with the weekly assignments and it's straight to the point. I wish there were more videos that go more in-depth with certain problems along with the youtube videos that she already provides.

Professor Bercu always gave clear instructions. For most online courses may be difficult to keep up with. Though she gives clear week by week expectations/ reminders of what's due. Pretty simple. Just do the work and don't wait till the last minute to turn in anything. She doesn't give exceptions.

Tough class, but taking her online lectures is pretty helpful, I wouldn't recommend it if you learn better in a live setting. Homework heavy but granted, I took the 6 week fast track course, it probably wouldn't be as bad in a regular 12 week course. I would definitely take her again!

Took this professor over a 6 week mini summer semester. Very easy- going class as long as you keep up with the homework assignments and discussion posts every week. There are 11 homework. Homework 10-11 are bonus points. I took this class during the summer semester term 1 2022. 3 excel projects. The excel projects are 50 points each. 3 exams and final exam that are 150 points each. There are 5 discussions with 2 peer discussion. There are no redo opportunities so make sure you score 100 on everything

She easy going professor. The materials are easy to read. Not hard to do so. There no redo opportunities in math 1324. There 2 bonus points that will help you recover your grades. Take her ONLINE class please! I was enrolled for fall semester. This course contains homework every week with at least 20 questions each. You have to show your work for her to see your effort and she gives feedback! easy discussion posts per week. NO quizzes. 3 Exams. Final replaces your lowest exam grade. 3 excel EASY projects. Took as an accelerated course to transfer to tamu. Really not horribly difficult exams, the homework is more difficult. She is highly responsive outside of class. 40% of your grade is made up from packback, easy step by step instruction excel projects, and homework. She posts around half the key when homework is assigned for answer clarity, easy.

Professor Bercu was always available any help and the youtube lectures are the best!! She also does a Q&A weekly online in order to help show how the homework problems are done. As long as you complete the lectures, do the homework correctly and study notes for the exams the class goes very well.

I took this course over 8 weeks. There is a lot of homework but grasping the concepts makes the exams fairly easy. Professor Bercu was highly responsive and explained anything that I was struggling with clearly and multiple times if necessary.

Mrs. Bercu, was an amazingly organized and attentive professor. I appreciated how well thought out and descriptive her assignments were. I had a difficult time in Statistics, but she offered a lot of opportunity to improve my grade. She hosts weekly Zoom "check-in's," that allows you to ask questions and work out any problems you have.

Highly recommend Professor Bercu. She seems mad all the time but she is very caring. If you have any questions she is quick to respond. She is clear on what she is expecting and as long as you put in the work you will be graded fairly. She also grades very quickly.

I'm not great at math and was nervous. Professor Bercu provides extra credit and replaces your lowest test grade with the final. Lots of homework but the test features a lot of the homework questions. Straight forward class. She's always there to help. 100% would take a class with her again. Best class I've taken, especially with heavy math.

I liked this professor. She was very clear on rules and assignment dates so if you take her class make sure to watch out for those and be prepared. Make sure you do the homework the day before so you can ask her questions if need be. Overall feel I've learned quite a bit in this class.

I am horrible with math, but this has been the easiest course I've ever taken! There is a discussion and homework assignment every week, but as long as you show effort, you will get a 100. There are also 2 extra credit assignments that will boost your grade and the final exam grade can replace your lowest unit exam grade. I would take her again!

Professor Bercu is one of the best professors I have taken. There is lots of homework, but it helps a lot when taking the test because you get a lot of practice. She posts YouTube lectures which are the key to learning in this course plus the textbook!! Overall, I would definitely recommend you take her course!

This professor is great. I'm not great at math, but I got through this course. Homework due weekly, if you have to take 242 along with 1342, it's the same. Weekly HW, a few projects. The only thing I warn you about, she is very strict about late assignments. Otherwise she was kind and I love the videos over textbooks. Just do your work, you'll pass

I recommend Statistics 1342 with Professor Bercu. I did the online anytime class, we had homework every week. There are four exams. She drops your lowest grade, There is also extra credit! We have 3 Excel Projects. Statistics is hard overall. I recommend taking this class with an easy class, and that's it! I recommend!!

Professor Bercu is very organized and has a well thought out schedule for statistics. She provides videos that she has made that are usually around 5-10 minutes and just teach one topic. This makes it manageable to work through all the units. The book is also there, but you are pretty good if you watch the videos and take notes.

Professor Bercu was amazing. The instructional videos she provides are a great resource and do a great job at explaining. The workload was manageable and she is very quick to reply, unlike many other professors. Overall, she is a great educator and really does care about the success of her students.

I highly recommend this professor and I haven't even completed the course yet. I like that you don't have to buy a book and she has videos that literally teach you the problems step by step. Also, even with it being an online class every week she has a session where you can ask questions live and she helps you solve them. She is the way to go!

Professor Bercu is amazing, she is very clear and forward about the materials and how to be successful in the class. You don't need to buy the textbook it is provided online. 11 homework assignments, 7 discussions, 3 excel project and 4 test including the final. This is a great class to take to get organized and prepared for other college courses!

Professor Bercu's class was a breeze! She provides material for all types of learners. The book is free and the videos she provides are great! Also, she has a weekly online class meeting to discuss current chapter and answer any questions one may have. Put in the work and this is an easy A!

Over all, pleasantly happy with this class. Easy and relaxed, didn't feel overwhelmed by all the homework. Only didn't really care for the discussions that had nothing to deal with math. She is easy to get a hold of if there are any questions. I'd take it again, enjoyed the class and I dislike math.

At first, I was scared of her class because she is strict with due dates but because her class has built in forgiveness and extra credit. Her lectures (which come in the form of YouTube videos) are very helpful and have made me learn Mathematical concepts that I thought I was incapable of understanding. Took this class for 6w1 of Summer, and was very cramped for it! I did have tons of homework, but the videos and examples given were amazing. Everything is explained pretty well, and as long as you are at least taking notes while watching the videos, you will pass. She also gave us the opportunity to make up one homework assignment!

Great professor!! Professor Bercu goes to great lengths to ensure access to plenty of extra resources to help your statistics' journey. Course consists of weekly HW, a few Excel projects (which she guides you through step-by-step), and exams. There are no extensions, but Professor Bercu has homework extra credit built in.
