A very nice lady, but had a tendency to really get off topic most days. We spent almost a week talking about ADD, which wasn't really necessary! She grades super easy but doesn't necessarily follow the text, which could be frustrating. But an interesting person to talk to, and a knowledgeable lady.

She was a great teacher. Cool about everything and fun! Her grading policy was awesome, and I loved to listen to her teach. If you need to take PSY, try to get her as your teacher!!!

Very great teacher! I didn't buy the book and i got a A in the class! which was very helpful with saving money. We had a lot of discussions in here class, which i really liked. She knows what she is talking about. I didn't agree with most things she said but she never put my ideas down.

Shelia is one of the nicest teachers i've had so far. Great interaction with the class. Lots of discussion gets of topic but it was all about talking about Technology. Overall easy class, with a great friendly teacher. I would take another one of her classes again. She's hot in her own way!

This class is the easiet class I have ever taken. She has various ways to get extra credit, you can make any test an A with the extra credit. She doesnt care about grades, just that you learn. She never gives out homework. She does not care if you come to every class or not, but there is extra credit if you do.

Oh Sheila....best teacher you can ever have. You won't ever walk out of her classroom without learning something new. Yeah it's an easy class, but it's mostly because she's a grreeeaaattt teacher.

She is the greatest teacher.. She will not put anything that she has not taught you on the tests.. Shes very easy going and laid back.. Just do the small amount of work that she does give you and you will be fine. Also make sure you listen during class since that is where she gets her test questions from.

She is a terrific teacher. Even though her tests aren't that easy she makes you want to come to class and learn. she keeps things interesting. i highly recommend taking her class.

I took PSY1010, SOC1010, and SOC2010. Absolutely wonderful teacher. You learn a lot & don't have to read the textbook if you pay attention to the lectures. She is inviting and open to any sort of discussion. She encourages students to speak up, ask questions, and express opinions. Her tests are challenging, but very doable if you pay attention.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD!!! All you need do is show up pay attention and you canoot possibly fail. The test are cake if you listen in class and EXTRA CREDIT IS LETERALLY LIMITLESS. If you want to learn something and pass take her.

She's an absolute sweetheart. She likes debates during class and doesn't mind getting the class side tracked. She lays out everything that you need to know for the tests and she has a lot of opportunities for extra credit. Like she says, "extra credit is limitless in this class." She's very laidback and not strict at all. I recommend her :)

She is a great professor. she cares about her student's learning and is very understanding. If you pay attention to her lectures and take notes, study them and do your homework you'll have an A in his class.(use textbook for referance)

Absolutely love her! Take her if you can!!! If you do your work its easy and you will learn a lot of things important to life in general and not just the class. She's an amazing teacher and person and I wish I could take her classes forever. She's very relaxed and easy going.

Professor Douglas is outstandind. he really knows her stuff very intellegent women. her tests are hard if you don't study. But you have a lot of chances to get an A if you do extra credit. Took her Sociology and Psychology. She's such a sweetheart & you actually learn. There's only 2 REQUIRED assignments. Also, if you fail her tests, she gives you extra credit that can bring your grade from an F to a B in a second. You also get 10 points just for perfect attendence. You don't need her books but u do have to pay attention! -Lisa

Mrs. Douglas is an amazing teacher. She presents information in a way that's interesting and connects it to what her students already know. She encourages class participation. As long as you pay attention and participate you will have no problem in this class.

Sheila is truly an amazing instructor. Was anxious initially about taking the class but LOVED LOVED it. In fact loved it and her so much took another class she taught just to take it. Class was always interesting, discussions amazing and she was beyond helpful. Take one of her classes, you'll be glad you did.

I loved her! She's really funny and sweet. She doesn't make a big deal out of missing class, and if you do, you can ask her what to study in your book so that you don't get left behind. You're allowed to make up one test if you miss it, and she doesn't mind getting late work. Shes good at explaining; tests are firm but very fair. Best teacher ever!

Had her a few semesters ago. It feels like some profs just hate their job and are out to get you. Not her - the only thing she is out for is to get you to THINK. She is not your average prof. She is precious! You will come away from her class having learned and having grown and having cried along with Weber and Milgram.

It's impossible not to pass this class, as long as you go. No homework, lets you redo papers as many times as it takes to get the grades you want, lets you earn back credit on tests. She cares about the students learning something, and isn't interested in just having a difficult class. Loved her.

I loved this teacher she made class so interesting and she was so easy to talk to if you turn in everything and take good notes there should be no reason for not receiving an A.

The Professor is amazing! She will do anything in her power to get you to recieve an A. She has two one page essays and 3 tests in the summer. Her personality is amazing!

Very easy, but educational class. You will learn a lot. She gives you the chance to get an A on every test with test corrections(you simply type 200 words out of the textbook for each question you got wrong). It is so easy to get an A in this class. She's funny, very nice, and she loves teaching. Take this class.

She knows the subject matter, and is great at helping you understand it too. She encourages interaction and discussions throughout the classes and really gets students involved. She is very concerned about her students and their success. I would take her classes again any day of the week! Learned a TON.

Mrs. Shelia (What she likes to be called) was the best Psychology teacher I have had. I took psychology in high school so i already knew some of the topics, but I really wanted to get a more in depth discussion about those topics. Well, wish granted! This was an amazing class! She'll put the most important topics on the board which was helpful too.

If I could take Sociology over again and again I would definitely take Miss Sheila. She is the best. Sociology should never be taken online. If you take a lecture, please take her! GREAT professor!

One of the best professors I have had. She only gives two writing assignments and 3 test. Plenty of extra credit to earn. I earned over 45 points in extra credit. Just pay attention and you will pass her test. She is a sweetheart.

I love her ! One of my fav professors at CSM ! I actually enjoyed coming to this class to hear her lectures because she'll make you realize things about life. She offers unlimited extra credit, and I got over 30 extra credit points. Exams are not the easiest, but she'll give you points back if you do test corrections.

Sheila is an incredible person and an incredible professor. Lectures are interesting and she's chill about due dates and essays. I was interested in sociology before but she teaches you how it applies to your own life, and that is an invaluable skill in teaching any subject.

She's an easy A but it's more popular class to take for forced gen-ed at CSM and she recognizes it so makes it an easy pass. You'll get an A with bare minimum.

I really love Shiela, if you read the textbook and enjoy actually learning its a great class. She's very lax on the papers you have to write weekly and there is no exams or quizzes just discussions, presentation and papers. I recommend taking her class just because of how awesome she is and I only wish the best for her.

I learned so much from this class, coming from a place of knowing nothing about psychology. Her lectures were extremely fascinating and never left us bored. She always had so many stories to tell and loved to just have a discussion with the class. There were endless opportunities for extra credit, which makes it nearly impossible to fail the class.

The professor is great and gives a lot of extra credit. When I took this class, the class was 7 weeks, and the professor gave lots of work that was due on the first day of class. The work was also very fast. The professor gave extra credit for attending class and for turning your camera on. The professor also gives a term research paper.

I recently finished taking this class this summer. Absolute amazing professor and so nice! It was a 2 hour 55min class, but all the lectures were never boring. Always interesting! Lots of opportunities for extra credit. I took it out of interest and extra credit, I was not disappointed. Would 100% recommend! Easy A class if you put in some effort.
