made the class fun and interesting.

Must be in class & study, but excellent teacher!
Have to go over notes after every class to keep up with course work
She's makes things understandable, but her tests are hard.
dont be sick too much
she was nice and fair with her grading
she loves and knows lots about education--she makes sure that you understand what she is teaching and she gives lots of real life examples to the theories. test are kinda hard but not if you go to class
Very willing to help you in anyway that she can as long as you are willing to put the work in. Her class is very hard & can be confusing at times. For a teacher going into high school it focuses more on elementary skills. Overall you have to take her only one that teaches. Be prepared to study.
She expects a lot, especially in 491 but she is very clear about it. She lays everything out for you the first day. She also tries to make it seem less intimidating by putting you at ease with her friendliness. I'd reccommed her. She knows what she is talking about.
Took this class for the MAT program and it was a complete repeat of PSYC 208. The way she taught the material made it seem a lot harder than what it was. Make sure that you study for the tests because they are not easy at all. Three short assignments throughout the semester and attendance is recommended.
Dr. Greenlee is a really good professor who really tries to help her students succeed. Tests are not too difficult if you read the chapters and study. Only 5 tests so studying for them is important, she also drops your lowest exam grade.
She makes it very easy to take notes because she has a powerpoint every day. Don't fall asleep because she'll call you out. Tests are hard so study and make sure you're not just memorizing.
This class is really easy and really interesting. She obviously loves what she teaches. If you study the notes exactly you will do just fine on tests. I'm not a psychology major and I'm getting great grades on the tests. You have to attend class because she doesn't post notes. Take this class with her!
Well from reading the previous posts I thought she was going to be an awesome professor. But really is not. Rude, sassy, and gives attitude ALL THE TIME! Her tests aren't easy. The material is SO easy but her multi choice is really tricky. Loved my 1st psych class so I took this one, now I'm not liking psych so much. I would take a different profes
She made an easy intro level course a lot harder than it needed to be. Her tests were confusing and somewhat difficult. She read straight from a powerpoint everyday. From the previous post, "Rude, sassy, and gives attitude" it's true. I loved the class but felt like she could've cared a little bit more about her students.
This was a good class. At first she came across a little tough but I think it was just to scare people a little bit. She is extremely easy to talk to and she really tries hard to get to know her students. I didnt even think she knew my name until she called on me. She is very nice. There are 5 tests and as long as you study youll do well
I had her for a three week summer course. In the begining I was really worried because she started off by saying that each day would be like a weeks worth of work but I think that was to scare us. I loved her class, she made it easy to understand and took the time to get to know us even though she only had us for three weeks. Her tests were easy.
Hard class. Never would have thought an intro class could be so hard. The tests are super hard. Good luck.
She only gives 5 tests (every three weeks covering 2 chapters) to grade "your best efforts," so if you don't do well on only tests, it's best not to take her. She relates the info to everyday situations, which is helpful. However, her tests are long and very detailed.
Made an intro class a lot harder than it should be, especially for freshman. Her notes are long, and her tests are really elaborate (all scenario questions, and wordy). Studying everyday for an hour is a must! I survived it, but only take if you really love psych.
i love dr. greenlee and psyc 208. i had her class at 8 am but she made it enjoyable. difficult tests but if you go over her notes a few times you will do just fine! don't really need the textbook
Blazes through slides, if asked to go back or slow down reacts as if it was a personal attack(doesn't post notes). DOESN'T allow laptops so keeping up, again, is very difficult. don't buy textbook. most uninviting and least helpful prof. ever. WILL kick you out of her office. good luck getting a reply email. zero personality. terrible dancer
She only put the notes up for a few days before taking them down again. very frustrating course to take from her as the material is not that difficult. She is okay but try to get someone else.
High energy professor who prefers the mornings. If you don't do well with high energy people in the mornings (like me) then it's best to avoid Greenlee. She also prefers you to print off slides from the internet, and if you learn better from writing all the material down, she's likely to get angry at you.
She is a morning person. Not very helpful. She loves what she does but has a hard time ensuring her students understand what she is teaching.
She's very energetic and into the class, but is very loose when it comes to covering the material and her power points aren't very good Would not recommend
Test and quizzes can be pretty hard. Most quizzes are all fill in the blanks with no word bank which can be hard if it's your first time taking a psych class like it was mine. Rolls through slides pretty fast, but if you pay attention and study enough you'll get through it.
Really sweet - but will call you out for falling asleep or surfing the web. She definitely has favorites that she calls on a lot as well. Overall, pretty easy and interesting class but be prepared to take a LOT of notes.
Pretty great professor! I didn't even touch the textbook because everything you need to know is on her powerpoints in class and she goes over the material very thoroughly. Definitely don't text or surf the web if you're on a laptop, she can tell. Her tests require good notes and a good amount of studying, but if you like Psych, it's worth it!
Her class is anything but interesting due to the fact that she goes through her powerpoints,so quickly that you don't have time to write everything down. Her teaching style is incredibly unhelpful and you basically have to teach yourself everything. Altogether, Professor Greenlee has been the worst professor I've had since coming to CNU.
She's an alright professor. All she does is go through powerpoints though. Don't buy the book, you might miss a few little things you're supposed to know but she goes over 98% of whats on the tests, so don't stress over reading the book like she tells you to. Just take all your notes and study HARD because the tests are very thorough.
I would not recommend taking this course with this professor. We never used the book, she taught straight off the power points and takes attendance every class. I didn't mind any of this, but her tests and quizzes were extremely difficult. The tests are so thorough, it's as if she expects you to be an expert on psych. The final was impossible.
I would not recommend taking this class. She moves very quickly and there is a lot of information to obtain. Her tests are extremely hard as well and she uses many examples. She's by far the hardest professor that I have had since I have come to CNU.
I'm majoring in psychology and this class was my lowest grade out of all my classes. All she does is read off the slides which are normally incoherent and then rambles on about stories that aren't relevant. She's simply not a good teacher. Avoid taking her unless you want to be angry heading to class and leaving class every time.
I did not like Greenlee at all. She's a rude person in general. If you ask a question she'll usually respond by saying that you should have been listening when she said it or she'll tell you to go read the book. However I didn't open the book once and still did good.
I was first turned off by some of these other ratings, but I loved her. Her class was interesting and she literally taught you every single thing you needed to know for the test. She's so nice and entertaining. Her tests are tough so you need to put a lot of time into studying them, and study groups are highly suggested
Fair teacher, great person, and you will learn a lot. I had around 700-800 vocabulary cards done by the end of the year. Her test are fair, not easy, but fair. She is always their to help you whenever you need it.
Teaches exactly what she wants for the tests and doesn't have anything on her tests that she has not gone over. Tests are application question so make sure you take down the example she gives you. She will go over anything you don't understand until you get it. She gives extra credit to anyone who volunteers for easy trivia. Didn't need the book.
Greenlee makes this 201 course as difficult as possible and expects you to study for at least an hour every single night; as if we do not take other classes. She lectures with powerpoints and occasionally will use the white board - she'll write things out with her awful handwriting. Grades are strictly based on just 3 exams and a final! DO NOT TAKE
Greenlee is a great professor. She can be tough and not help as much as you want. She expects you to study well in advance for tests, but there is so much information that you need to. A lot of notes and flashcards but the material itself is pretty easy to learn. I like her and would recommend you take her course.
I absolutely love her. Her lectures are usually interesting and she incorporates lots of examples and practice questions. Her tests are tricky and challenging but she makes the class very enjoyable. The material is interesting and she tells a lot of hilarious personal stories to help you remember it.
She means well, but I didn't care for her. In her class you have to learn the material and apply it to her test, which can be difficult. To be successful in this class, take notes on & off the PowerPoint in class, keep up with your studies because there's a lot of information to retain with only 5 major assignments, and DO NOT TAKE AT 8AM. BORING!!
Greenlee is a great professor would definitely take again! Make sure you attend classes and she's pretty funny/sarcastic
Professor Greenlee is very knowledgeable in the field of Psychology but she expects you attend her lectures and read the textbook ahead of time. She wants you to work for the grade you receive. Very helpful in office hours.
The tests are difficult because they're not the usual "memorize and mark", they apply the material to real life situations. But make sure to participate for extra credit points she gives out frequently. She is a great professor and a great person to talk to if you're having difficulty with material, ask for help and she'll clear up any confusion.
I absolutely love Dr. Greenlee! She is so helpful and is really looking out for her students. That being said, she does expect you to start studying in advance for all of her tests. Her tests are fairly easy. It is all applied knowledge. She provides a TON of examples during her lectures to help make applying the knowledge easier.
I absolutely love Dr. Greenlee, she knows her course material better than anyone and truly loves her students and what she's teaching. She provides so many real-life examples associated with concepts which makes the material so much easier to understand. She offers the opportunity for extra credit daily, and is truly my favorite professor.
Her lectures are hard to follow. Even if you read the textbook and go to class it's pretty impossible to do well. She doesn't give study guides for test. You just go into the test praying that the stuff you studied is on the exam. Only 4 grades in this class and her extra credit will not help you at all. Do not take her class you will regret it.
Awesome Professor! I hate psychology but she made the class so interesting, especially for an 8am! You have to listen to lectures, read the textbook, and study. Favorite professor this semester.
Your grade is based solely on 4 exams including the final exam. There is no cushion except for a few extra credit points. There is SO MUCH material I could barely review it all before exams. Do not recommend this professor.
Dr. Greenlee makes class interesting. She's very enthusiastic about the subject matter. Her tests are different because they're all application questions, so you really have to have a strong understanding of the material. Gives out extra credit to those who participate in class. Attendance is mandatory, even though it's a big lecture
A lot of reading. Hard teacher - tests are more objective but if you go to class and study a lot you can get a decent grade. Gives a decent amount of extra credit and there are pop quizzes.
I couldn't imagine taking psych without her. Her lectures teach you everything you need to know, she's very good at elaborating on ideas and explaining things. The class is lecture heavy, but she makes them really interesting and entertaining. Take good notes, pay attention, study ahead of time, and it's an easy A.
Professor Greenlee is one of the best professors I've ever had. She explains things very clearly that make sense and stick. Her tests are difficult, however, her class is worth the work. She is such a nice and genuine person who makes the class fun and genuinely tries to get to know you.
If you can avoid taking her DO IT, everyone struggles in her class and have C's at best. She doesn't prepare you for the tests she gives and she is not helpful when tried to reach outside of class. I went for help multiple times and was basically told she couldn't help me, and good luck. Don't take her if you can avoid it.
At the beginning of the semester, she made a comment that sounded like she had a bad reputation. I never thought I'd do well in a psychology course, but I thrived in her class. As long as you study, you'll pass. If you pay attention, you'll pass. Strict cell phone rule but understandable.
Anyone who rated her poorly was probably expecting to get an A w/o working for it. She has amazing lectures where she teaches you everything you need to know for the tests, tons of examples to help you understand. Take thorough notes and study them really well and you should do fine. Don't expect an A if you don't show up/put in effort. 10/10 prof.
Dr. Greenlee was an amazing professor. She knows the material and she cares about students' grades. Highly recommend.
Don't take this class with her unless you are willing to put the work in for it, this is not a class you can just coast through.
Probably the worst professor at CNU. She goes way too fast with her notes and takes attendance pretty much every class. She does not understand that not everyone in the class are psych majors. The class is based on 4 tests that are worth 95% of your grade and they are sooooo hard. If you fail one, good luck trying to recover.
Dr. Greenlee is a very solid professor, she is very funny and provides many great examples. Her tests are very hard however, and since 95% of your grade is based off of four tests, it is hard to get a good grade if you mess up on them. You must put in the work for this class!
Exams are over lectures, just in application form (detailed but predictable). In other words, DON'T BUY THE BOOK but study the notes VERY well as 95% of your grade is exams! GO TO CLASS her notes in class are more detailed than the powerpoints (diagrams, etc). And use her study guide manual in the library! Strict cell phone/laptop policy.
Shes very nice and funny. She gives TONS of extra credit which is super helpful. She only gave us a total of 4 grades though (all exams) so that definitely sucked.
Dr. G is the reason I changed my major to Psychology. Would not say it is an easy class but definitely worth the time and effort. She provides real life examples to help you understand the subject better and makes the lectures very interesting. Grade is based solely on 3 exams and your final but plenty of extra credit opportunities are provided.
You have to remember A LOT but she is very specific on what she teaches. Definitely will not get through everything, but that makes the tests shorter. Very nice and caring. I am taking her again next semester.
Dr. Greenlee was great and I loved her Child Development class. She's very easy to talk to and truly cares about her students. That being said, she doesn't take any BS. Do the reading, be prepared for tests and extra-credit quizzes, don't be late or have your phone out during class, and you're golden with Dr. Greenlee.
Greenlee is such a good professor! She is very strict but in my opinion it just makes you work harder in that class. The class is lecture heavy but she tries to make it interesting. You can tell that she loves teaching this material. Be ready to work if you take a class with Greenlee! 10/10 would recommend.
Greenlee is amazing! She has high expectations for her students and can be strict but it makes you work harder. She gives SOOO much extra credit but your grade is based solely on tests. Her lectures can be heavy but she tries to relate the information to the real world. She also loves to crack jokes. I really loved her!
Incredible lecturer. She gives plenty of examples that really help for the exams. There are only 3 exams and the final that go into the grade (and the mandatory SONA requirement) and does not round up (if you get a 89.99, its a B+). Gives plenty of extra credit opportunities and genuinely cares about her students. You will learn a lot from her.
Definitely the best professor I've had so far! As long as you listen to her lectures and study like you're supposed to you will be successful. She gives great examples that are also used on the tests a lot of times. It is clear that she really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. This class made me decide to change my major to neuro.
Professor Greenlee was great! I have had her for both PSYC 201 and PSYC 208. The classes are similarly structured with only a few tests that make up the majority of your grade. If you come to class and listen to her lectures, you will do fine on assessments. Extra credit opportunities are plentiful!
Dr. Greenlee is one of my favorite professors. You do have to go to class and actively pay attention. She's very strict about her cell/laptop policy. She gives lots of opportunities for extra credit in class which is very helpful. Office hours have been really helpful and as long as you put in the effort you're in the clear.
Dr. Greenlee was an amazing professor. I did not miss a class and everything on the test was straight from lecture. This class does require studying but Dr. Greenlee makes the material very straight forward. She uses real life scenarios to explain terms and loves to crack jokes. I would recommend her to any student.
LOVE her! She is so so helpful, and truly wants all of her students to understand the material and do well. Showing up to class is important because she does go in depth on her in-class PowerPoints, and I don't think you will do very well if you don't attend class. She does expect you to know the info and work hard, but she's always willing to help
Dr. Greenlee grades off of essentially only tests, which are, admittedly, surprisingly difficult. However, she understands this and helps you out by assigning lots of extra credit, and although you have to read and study a lot to succeed, by making you work for the grade, she helps you grow. She is tough but fair, and a master of her area.
She genuinely likes her subject and is passionate about it but she talks A LOT. She wasted a lot of time in the in the beginning of class and then rushes through the lecture. Every class we are always behind and her tests are really annoying they are really long examples that are not always clear what she is asking for.
Online class: In lectures shes all over the place. She only puts the notes up on blackboard for a few days and then will remove them. Were responsible for knowing everything in the chapter even if she doesnt go over it. Doesnt tell you what you missed on a test so you dont know what to work on for the final.
She was by far the worst professor I have had while in college. She would not let anyone ask questions during class, always got off track during lectures, and never finished all the content that would be covered on exams. Her exams were 50 questions in 50 minutes. She also would not go over exams so you would know what you got wrong.
She will fail you if you give her the chance. She is a no mercy kind of professor and there is no such thing as any special circumstances or extensions or retakes. Get it right the first time & if you don't that's your problem. I couldn't log into blackboard for two weeks and she was failing me for everything that I missed. IT & I told her no care
Dr. Greenlee is good at relating content to real life situations and making sure the content is understood by the whole class. I will say, some of her teaching methods are a little dated and I feel she could have accommodated more with attendance, etc due to the pandemic and being online.
Dr. Greenlee is a super strict, show-no-mercy type of professor, so if you have an wifi/tech issues, she wont care! However, I learned a lot in this class and did enjoy the content. Just make sure that you STUDY!
No mercy type of professor. It is clear she is very knowledgeable, but in some way has expectations that are too high for an intro level course in which the majority of students are not even psychology majors. The content itself was interesting but STUDY! Do not take this class if you are looking for an easy A. 50 question exams in 50min. Good Luck
While I took Dr. Greenlee's class, the amount of information I had to remember was overwhelming, to say the least. Despite the workload of being a 200 level course, I enjoyed the class. I loved Dr. Greenlee's energy and humor during her lectures. Good professor but a great person! Just be ready to memorize and study a lot!
Greenlee is a great option for a 200 level psych course. Tests make up 95% of the grade but, even though they're harder than typical tests, Greenlee's teaching ability makes up for the challenge. She's funny in her lectures and tries to incorporate stories from her life to help us understand material better.
She was not helpful with my technology issues. I made them clear and asked for help but was told to figure things out on my own.
Dr. Greenlee is tough. However, she wants you to succeed. She is aware that there is a lot of information and will do her best to make sure you are understanding all the concepts. She often offers extra credit opportunities. Side note: says there is a required textbook but I didn't use it. I only used her slide shows.
There are 5 tests in this class, that is the whole grade. She just reads off her slides that she provides and gives no other information. You pretty much pay for her slides and not a professor. If you are not a genius at psychology she does not like you. I was only taking this to learn a little bit about psychology for fun and was punished for it.
I have had Dr. Greenlee for 2 psychology courses now and although the tests are difficult, if you attend class regularly, pay attention, and take notes you will be fine. She tries to give her classes all of the information she can but sometimes it gets a little jumbled up if you don't pay attention since her classes are lectures.
You can't go back and review what you got wrong on each exam. She makes her exam question very wordy/hard to understand, plus lecture slides are difficult to follow. When she explains topics, she bounces from thing to thing, making it hard to follow. When I reached out for help I would get passive-aggressive responses.
She's a cool teacher but it's difficult because she doesn't assign hw, the only grades that get put in is 3-4 test grades + exta credit which doesn't account for much. To get a good grade, you have to go to class, pay attention, and take notes, but she's a nice teacher
I really enjoyed professor Greenlee's class. It is a difficult class with lots of material so you need to dedicate time to it outside of class, but she is available and caring. It is only graded on a few grades so the test and quizzes matter a lot. Flashcards help and study groups!
I will definitely not be taking this class again. I'm still in the class currently and i'm worried i wont pass. Attendance is her top priority and she will NOT excuse anything unless u have a dr note. There is an attendance code at the beginning of class so make sure you have a friend in the class. No homework, only difficult tests.
Although not the worst professor, I didn't necessarily enjoy her. Her slides were disorganized and she would provide information not on the slides we needed to know. She very easily chooses the people she enjoys the most and consistently only gives them chances. Attendance is a major priority in her class, only exception is a doctor's note.
You can tell Prof Greenlee means well & knows the material, but she teaches old-fashioned. Attendance policy is strict & unreasonable, everyday lectures are boring & just her reading straight from the powerpoints, & tests are harder than any of my other classes. Nice lady but not a good teacher for those who need interaction or actual teaching
Greenlee is a great professor she comes off a bit condescending but if you study and go to her office hours sometimes you'll be fine. To study make sure you use her book on reserve.
Difficult class to understand.
Sheila's class was difficult, but I think that's because I took it bright and early at 8 am. Attendance is MANDATORY and if you are sick you MUST have a doctor's note. Her class is also extremely application based and as long as you know how to apply the material irl, then you should be okay.
This class is solely based on lecture and note taking. Be prepared to study a lot especially if psych isn't your forte. Definitely study more than a few days before each exam. You are graded on four exams throughout the semester and that's the only grades you get besides the final. She is a great person but tough professor, she is willing to help.
Dr. Greenle's class was enjoyable but it was just really early. She offered reviews in class before each exam and the final. She often related the material to stories of her daughter and nephews. Additionally, there were only 4 exams and quizzes in the class as well as two projects and the tests were difficult. The class is fine if you study.
Lectures are very easy to follow, and you get chances for extra credit pretty often. If you listen in the class, you will pass, so this is not a class to skim your phone on. Likes to try and bring jokes in and tangents to her lectures to keep them interesting. While the notes can be lengthy, if you pay attention, you will pass the class.
great class and I never opened the textbook- lecture slides cover what you need to know. do the extra credit it's worth it!! the tests can sometimes be tricky so write down the examples she gives because it's on the test. she doesn't accept late work but the projects are easy (esp projects 1 & 3). very funny and enthusiastic.
Anyone who says this class is easy is a suck up. It is hard when it is not suppose to be this in detail. Sheila was drain the love of psychology right out of you.
All she does is read off her PowerPoints, and they have 100-more slides each. She tests us on multiple chapters at once, so you need to memorize hundreds of slides. Her "extra credit" is literally 1-2 points. The only grades are her tests, so if your not a good test taker, then your failing the class. I am a psych major and she is making me hate it
Dr. Greenlee is a wonderful professor. She can be strict and a little snappy, but if you pay attention and respect her time it won't be an issue. She genuinely cares about her students and is always thinking of ways to improve our learning. This class is graded on 4 tests and is lecture heavy. No assignments other than tests. Study the ppts.
If you took AP Psych in high school this class transfers over. Same material as AP but with a couple of extra details. Her grades are only influenced by tests, EC, and participation. If you are willing to participate, she gives you a free point 76->77. Posts the lectures online. Good to have a friend in the class for the code if you miss a day.
her lectures are very clear. there's lots of content but she keeps it interesting and engaging with a few opportunities for extra credit. this class is graded almost fully through exams, but she is available to help if you're struggling. she really cares for her students and attendance is mandatory but not graded. make sure to study ahead for exams
I'm not even a Psychology major, but I found Dr. Greenlee's class very interesting. That's largely because she has good lecturing skills. There's a lot of material for the exams, but as long as you study well in advance, getting a good grade is manageable.
Dr. Greenlee is an amazing and passionate teacher for this class. Don't get me wrong this class is hard, you HAVE TO go to class, take good notes, you have to have a lot of responsibility in order to do well. But she makes that very clear at the beginning of class, don't take this class if you're not prepared to put in the work.
I can tell she is passionate about what she teaches, but her lectures are not similar to her tests. I studied for hours in prep for her tests and I barely passed each one. I feel like with the amount of notes you take, you should be able to have notes for tests. She also doesn't do any application work, it's just tests and pages and pages of notes
If you are interested in majoring in psychology this is a great course to figure that out. This professor expects a lot from students and unless you reach out for help by going to office hours, it is all on you to get through this course. My number one piece of advice is to have a strong study method and give it 100% effort. Be ready to work hard.
Dr. Greenlee was my fav prof for my first ever semester at CNU! She did really good at teaching lectures and offers extra credit. She only gave 5 exams and a non-comprehensive final. No other assignments besides a research requirement that is through SONA and not through the professor. DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK! I didn't use it once, it was useless.
great professor. the whole class is just lectures and tests. she gave us a non-comprehensive final if we kept the class average a certain grade. she offers extra credit every week. there's also a small research credit only 5% of your grade. don't buy the textbook, its a waste. I didn't use mine once and was told its for us to use at home
This class was the worst I have seen. She pretends to laugh and says she cares...but she does not. She makes you buy a textbook THAT YOU DO NOT NEED!!! And she does NOT understand that students learn differently. Also be prepared to have your only grades to be TESTS. On top of that...the only way to get EC is to speak in front of 90+ students.AWFUL
Dr. Greenlee is the BEST! 208 is so enjoyable with her! She is so knowledgeable and she is so passionate about the things she teaches! Textbook isn't really needed even though she says it is. Be prepared for your grade to only be from 4 tests. Also strict on attendance - if you miss more than three classes you drop a letter grade.
Greenlee is passionate and a great prof, but this class is incredibly difficult because of the amount of material. Study EARLY and OFTEN or you absolutely will not succeed. There are few options for extra credit, so make sure you take advantage when the opportunity arises. 5 exams= 95% of your grade, SONA participation= 5%.
A lot of people hate and drop her class but I really enjoyed it. If your unsure on whether or not to major in psych, take Greenlee bc it can help you determine whether or not you enjoy the content and future psych courses. There are only 4 tests and they are hard, but I studied night before and did fine on them if you pay attention in class.
She is a rough professor but if you show her that you are trying and you're putting forth the effort by going to her office hours and trying to be better, she will help you.
Professor Greenlee was great and is really passionate about Psychology; however, if you miss a class be prepared with proof or have a friend in the class to assist you with the notes. Notes are published in scholar however are not completed so attending is important if you want to do well. Great professor, not so great if you get sick easily.
Dr. Greenlee is a good professor. She is very lecture heavy and does not really give us time to digest the information when needed. She lectures until the day before exams which is awful. But she gives opportunities to gain extra credit but when she warns us about it, study!!! Without studying, you'll fail. Make sure to show up to class.
Dr. Greenlee's lectures are engaging, but the content is dense. Studying early and using tools like Unstuckstudy are key to success. Exams are 95% of the grade, so prioritize prep. Textbook is optional, and she offers some extra credit opportunities.
If you need a gen ed science class, stay away from Greenlee. Hard tests for such a not important entry level class. Very rude and annoying during class.
Dr. Greenlee was an amazing person but I didn't enjoy the class. I didn't buy the book thank goodness because she didn't even go off of it. The tests were horrible and difficult and the final was the worst. I would avoid, she's a great person but I wouldn't take again.
She is a very nice person and tried her best to make lectures engaging. The grade is based off of only exams (which are fairly difficult) and one short paper. Studying in advance is definitely needed to get a good grade. Greenlee is one of my favorite profs and I definitely recommend if you are ready to put in effort.
Absolutely Awful professor. Grade made up of 4 tests all from information all given in lecture. Extremely rude and terrible communication skills. Do not take this class.
This was literally the worst class in my life. Do not take this if you want your sanity. it was the hardest class I've ever taken. I had an A in all my other classes except I had F this one.
If I could save my worst enemy from this class I would. Awful professor, extremely rude and unapproachable. Lectures the entire time and does a very poor job at it. I studied for at a minimum 4 nights before each test and never broke a C+ on a single one. Formed study groups outside of class to work on material but ultimately wasn't enough.
I was initially very nervous to take this class based on other reviews, but do not let that deter you! She is a wonderful lecturer and although this class is solely lectures and exams, she is always open to answer questions to clarify material. There is a lot of material covered, but studying early and using quizlet helped me tremendously.
I absolutely LOVED her, she is a little strict but personally that helped me become a better student. Her class is very much test heavy and will need more attention. She pushes her students to be better, I personally loved her just from the motivation she gave me.
She is super funny; but the exams are worded differently than the test itself. Gives the same advice to all students in office hours even if that study tatic does not work for you as a person. STUDY WAY AHEAD, i mean like WAY AHEAD. She words the exams like you've taken countless psych cources and know how to anaylize. Wouldn't recommend.
An excellent professor & is very passionate about what she teaches! Just 4 tests and a paper grade the class. She does assign a textbook for this class, but you don't really need it. Just take good notes in class and study two weeks in advance for the tests. Know the terms and how to apply them, almost all the test questions are application-based.
Although a nice woman, greenlee does not actually teach. Classes consist of lecture slides and your entire grade is 4 tests and 1 exam. She reads clear off of the slides. I wouldn't purchase the textbook for this class because you won't use it. If you do to her office hours, she will tell you the same thing as everyone: “study earlier, WAY earlier”
