this class would be hard no matter who taught it but Professor Foster will sit with you for hours and explain it one on one if you need her to, I loved her and totally recomend her!

She is a great teacher. She takes the TIME to sit with you to make sure you understand the material. Just in case you don't get it in class. You need to MAKE THE EFFORT to work outside of class. Stats, isn't easy. She gives mult. choice tests and lets you do test corrections. Which is RARE in college. Uses powerpoints.

Excellant teacher. She is very helpful and goes out of her way to make sure you understand the material. She rewards effort and is very forgiving on test. If you do your homework and exhibit an understanding of the material on test, you will do fine.

Excellent teacher and willing to work with you individually if you need help. Super nice and friendly. Very generous on testing, lab work, and homework. Only bad study habits on my part kept me from getting a good grade. She went out of her way to help me.

Not a cake walk, but if you put in your part, she will meet you half way and she will help you all the other half. I enjoyed her teaching style and her ability to always be understanding to your faulty of not understanding something. I found her always willing to help me no matter what time I was able to come in. AWESOME teacher!!

I thought that she was a very good professor, she was always available and went above and beyond what most professors do to make sure that I did well in her class....because I wanted to do well and was willing to do my part. I highly recommend her!

Very helpful, available office hours. The student has to practice it is not an easy 'A', if that's what you're looking for.

Anyone who says they got less than an A didn't try. She goes beyond office hours, would let you attend other classes if needed, & helps firm your grasp by getting you to help others. Not easy, but definitely a great teacher.

I took her for Spring and it was ok...She is a good teacher but sometimes can't be so unclear. I was expecting an A but I got a B instead. Anyway, if you have chance, take her..She ids probably one of the easy teashers for stat!!!

Great professor, very organized and clear about what you need to know. Depended on the online homework a little too much to teach, but if you can figure it out all the problems become routine. Oh, and don't actually pay for the Triola Statistics book. You have to pay $50 for the online package anyway, and that comes with all the textbook material.

I took accelerated trig(half semester) It was fast & hard to keep up. Homework was overwhelming, she did cut it in 1/2 after we complained, test were difficult and covered everything. I thought she took plenty of time to explain things and make sure we all were up to speed before moving on. Take her if you want to learn, but it won't be easy.

in the beginning the class may seem hard because the review exam and the 1st exam I got a C, but later on the professor becomes more lenient and helpful toward your exam grades by correcting the labs and tests, to get ready for calculus take this teacher......

She is extremly helpful, always wants to answer question inside or ouutside the class. She is very good teacher to get you ready for calculas.

This professors is TOUGH! But she is also extremely helpful - always available for help in her office. She gave extra points on every test.. they are impossible and take the whole period and longer. I took precal last year in high school, but have struggled in it much more. However, I would recommend her, unless you're not willing to work hard.

Demanding class, but she is clear and knows what she is talking about. I'm not strong in math at all and was able to follow along just fine. You MUST study and do the labs and homework. Do the labs several times to prepare for the exams.

She is an excellent teacher. She is very clear in explanation and passionate about teaching. She gives you multiple opportunities to raise your grade, you just have to apply the effort. I am terrible at math and did relatively well. Had it been any other teacher-- I'm not so sure the outcome would have been the same.

The class work is demanding from the homework to quizzes but she gives you assistance when needed. Statistics is still math therefore you must work out the problems but you do get a formula sheet. The math lab can help for her hours to visit are really early in the morning. All in all I made a B but could of made a A if I would have taking my Labs.

Prof. Foster explains her material VERY WELL. She's always happy to answer questions in class.Its a good idea to go to her office hours if you dont understand something,coz once u get lost,youd be completely lost.Her exams are relatively hard if u dont completely know the material. Overall, shes a great stat teacher.Oh! and definitely do your labs!

VERY good professor. She explained things very well, and I liked they way she tought on the dry erase board. She gave us all the material to make an A, it all depended on how much effort you put into the class. Would recommend her.

She teaches the material, then u have to learn the material in and out in ur own time in order to even get a decent grade from her really hard test. She is willing to make time outside of class to teach u. We did not use a textbook but an online website where we did all our work for $80.

She'd be a great teacher on regular classes. But don't take her during the summer. She expects you to be able to learn a huge amount of material in a short amount of time and gives you insane amounts of homework. She lets you slide on a few things, but if you hate math or don't want to do a lot of studying, don't take her.

She's an AWESOME teacher who goes out of her way to help you understand the material. Uses different methods to teach. I was allowed to sit in on a later class when I missed one. You have to put in the effort. She won't just give you an A. Go to office hours if you need to and keep working hard! You'll get an A like I did.

Lots of homework, hard exams, not an easy class. Be prepared to study alot. This prof was organized and explained info well. I kept hearing a couple classmates disapproval of her, but I think it was due to the difficult material. I got an A, but studied 2x as much as other classes.

Took during summer and she is hands down the best Stats teacher. She explains everything so well and she is willing to make sure everyone understands before moving on. This was my second attempt on Stats, first one I had to drop because the teacher was confusing. Shows how to use the calculator and tests are multiple choice! Wonderful teacher!

Professor Foster is easily one of the most amazing teacher I've ever had. She is clear, resourceful, nice, lenient, helpful, and available out of class. Attendance is not mandatory but she explains the material so well that you will not want to miss class and will not have to read the book. Just make sure you do the work and practice. Loved her!

Seriously, hands down, BEST math professor ever!!!! You cannot go wrong with her. She will help you so much if you just ask for it. Pulled off an easy A in her class. She assigns homework every night and there is a quiz every single class but it REALLY does help in retaining the info. for when the big exams come up. She rocks!! I give her an A+!!

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER FOR CALCULUS II. She might be better for lower level math classes but is an unbearable cal 2 teacher. Foster would rather bombard the class with difficult examples/question than make sure everything was clearly communicated. She is available for help during office hours, but its impossible to review every class lesson.

Prof. Foster was a very good math professor. I was worried about taking stats but she made it easy and enjoyable. Has quizzes often but they are not difficult and only helped raise my grade. I would take this professor again in a heartbeat!

Statistics is a difficult class in general but I was in for a rude awakening! She gives a good lecture with printed notesexamples, but I had to study 20hrs+ a week just to absorb her material. Forget using the Math Lab with other professors because they couldn't even answer Foster's questions correctly, and they teach it.

Took her for Statistics. Calculus is hard and she tries to make it as simple as possible. Very helpful both during and outside office hours. Tests are hard and cover every single topic in class. Missing lectures is surely a recipe for fail. The class is not "EASY" but is not hard either. Be prepared to put a lot if time on Webassign

She has online lecture videos that seem very slow but she goes over every detail you need to thoroughly understand each lesson. I struggle in math but I found her class easy due to her clear online lectures. Reading the book is not needed with her lectures. I took her for Honors Statistics and would take her for Calc in a heartbeat!

I am currently taking her stats class, and she is a very good professor. She answers questions if you are stuck. She makes sure everyone understands. Her tests are multiple choice and her reviews help a lot. She tells you what is going to be on the test. She does not give any quizzes. Very good professor!!

Great professor, really helpful and everything a professor should be. I took an honors class with her so she expected a lot of us and Statistics almost killed me but she's helpful. GET READY FOR A HARD COURSE BUT A GOOD TEACHER

Prof Foster was very caring and always able to answer my questions. I honestly did not put as much effort into the class as I should have but she was very clear in her teaching. Lots of mastering homework but it's good practice for the tests. How the semester was planned out was very clear as well. I would definitely reccomend taking her for stats.

Attendance is not graded, but it's extremely tough even though I was there every lecture but one. But honestly, if you can study close to every day, you'll be fine. It's a tough class but amazing teacher who makes it a lot more manageable.

Prof Foster is great! Calc 1 is bulky but she makes it easy to understand. Always available for office hours. Her tests are fair(a bit hard) and similar to questions on review,homework. Not enough chance for extra credit but it's not her fault, blame it on the overall coordinator who insists that tests should carry 80% of total grade.

I am bad with numbers but she made everything easy. The tests are straightforward. Reviews are very helpful. Make sure you don't skip class and be part of the GroupMe chat! It was very helpful. Prof. Foster is always willing to help. She speaks clearly and goes slowly so you can understand the exercises and every step.

There is a lot of homework, but its very easy if you take notes in class and pay attention. Four tests, inclusion midterm and final, and all are MC. Labs are a little challenging, but she is very helpful if you ask her for help.

Professor Foster truly makes STATS easy to understand. Provides students with all the resources they need and can be easily accessed outside of class for extra help. She cares about the successs of her students. Sometimes felt like her homework load was a little unreasonable but if you do it all, it will definitely help with the tests anyways.
