Very challenging discussion. He pushes you to think and you learn because of it. A dozen or so cases to read, some of them pretty dry. Project at the end. Overall a pretty informative and challenging class.

Please do yourself a favor and take this professor. He's so funny and only lectures for ten minutes a week. The majority of the class is discussion based. At least one class a week is reserved for group meetings (sometimes entire weeks are for group meetings) and there are no exams, just two group papers, a presentation, and participation points.

Professor really cares. He works hard to make you learn. It may seem difficult at first but will if you follow closely, it will click and you will love the class and learn so much! Such a wonderful human being who places students and learning first. Truly loves Tulane and wants us to be successful. Great advice.

Professor Ebrahim has high expectations but also holds himself to a higher standard. He really engages the class and make it a safe and effective learning environment for everyone to learn. He will scare you at first but has a heart of gold and wants everyone to learn as much as possible. I love this class and learned a lot more than I realized.

Such a great class and a phenomenal professor. He makes you earn your grade but is also fair when you are trying to learn. He will try to find new ways to connect the material. You have to read and he gives great feedback both in person and in meetings.

I have never met such a committed professor to learning. It is such a safe and inviting environment to learn from the lecture, group discussion and readings. It is amazing how he encourages us to ask questions and adapts to learning styles to make sure we understand the concepts and how to apply them. Such a masterful teacher! Amazing person.

Hes kind and witty, a good way to start the day. He does cold call on everyone each class period so make sure you read the articles before class. It is a project/paper heavy class so youre technically graded on one thing for the entire semester. But you can tell he really cares for his students

My favorite class at Tulane. Prof does such an amazing job engaging students and making material that could seem dry feel genuinely interesting and relevant. I've learned so much about the strategy behind what makes partnerships successful, and I'll definitely carry those lessons forward in my career. So grateful to have taken this class!

Like the other reviews say, Dr. Ebrahim is witty, engaging, and made the topic of corporate strategy fun and engaging. The two grades are participation and a group paper, so make sure to come to class. He does cold call sometimes so make sure to come prepared. Overall, I enjoyed his class and I'll be taking another of his courses next semester.

Professor is a good guy and he's pretty funny. Really cares about his students and wants to be helpful however possible. That said, one of the hardest mgmt electives, and idt it's worth the work. One group paper worth 70% of grade. Go to class, participate, get him to like u. Imo not worth the work for mgmt elective credit. Dinosaur AI policy btw

If you red and do the work, this class is great. Professor is a good teacher and very knowledgeable. Expects you to think independently and critically and cares that you learn.

This class is the best class at Tulane. I learned so much from Dr. Ebrahim about strategy. He has so many ways to make the subject interesting. I used what I learned in my interviews and they were impressed I knew so much. Thx so much!
