Sherri Hardin is by far the best math teacher that I have ever had. Took her for both semesters and made A's in both classes. If you dont know math when you go into her class you will when you come out. She teaches you exactly what you need to know and tells you what kind of problems will be on the tests.

The only math professor I would recommend to any student. She is so helpful and kind, she will make an appointment to sit and work with you until you have a grasp on the material. There's not a more patient person on the face of the earth. I've had her for two terms and have yet to see her lose her temper. Truly a gift to mankind.

Awesome professor! She is willing to do anything for students to help them learn math. Although attendance was mandatory, there were days when she would not count it. And most days the class didn't last the entire time however she was more than willing to stay and answer students' questions. Easy A if you go to class and study!

Dr. Hardin is one of the best teachers I've had. Although she might make the class a little too easy. I got 100+ on all of my tests and an 80 on the final... I came out with an A but felt under prepared. She is kind of old and not that hot so idk why it says she is... I'd definitely take her for another class.

I HATE math and despise it on ALL levels. I am a Senior and I just finished taking Prob&Stats when I should have taken it as a Freshman. People may tell you to take Hicks but I am SO SO thankful that she was my teacher! We never used the book, she was SUPER helpful & caring. Her first words to us were "I will be your biggest cheerleader!" Take her!

Best prob and stats teacher at ETSU, hands down

The book is not a requirement. You will need to get the online stats lab code for the 50 points. If you come to class and have perfect attendance you will get bonus points worth 50 and decreasing by 10 for each absence. So you could still score a 100 for class without buying the code. She is super helpful, will meet with you and clarify anything.

Best stats teacher at ETSU. Is very willing to work with you, will help you with ANY questions you may have and is super sweet. I highly recommend her as a professor

Took Dr. Hardin for Pre-Calculus 1 and she made it exceptional clear for those of us who didn't understand right off the bat. She will not continue to new subject matter until she knows everyone understands the material and is more than willing to stay after class or meet before class to help you along. She is exceptional.

Dr. Hardin is terrific! Im terrible at math, but she makes it so clear and easy to understand. She never makes you feel stupid for asking questions, and she wont move on until you understand the material. She gives you extra points for not missing class, so just go to class and youll be in good shape!

Hardin is hands down one of the best professors Ive ever had! I am HORRIBLE at math and still managed to make an A in the class, which I could never have done with any other professor. She is the only teacher that has ever been able to make math make since to me. 10/10 could not recommend her enough!

Dr. Hardin helped me pass Prob and Stats. I was a senior this semester, so prob and stats was not a priority. (Not being homeless next semester was). I barely came to class and felt really guilty about my non-participation. I met with Dr. Hardin and she worked with me. She encouraged me. I used the notes she posted online to study and PASSED!

Professor Hardin makes prob and stats an easy class to understand. Her lectures are really great she explains everything in detail. If you must miss class she does post her lecture notes online and tells you exactly what is on her tests. If she has seats available take her class for sure!

Mrs. Hardin was probably one of the best math teachers I have ever had! She is always so nice and wants her students to do well. Hardin is one of the best professors i have had. she is like a southern momma when it comes to being helpful. she is always willing to help with ANYTHING and she gives hella extra credit for perfect attendance throughout the semester. so if you don't do well with math like me, those extra credit points will get you up a letter grade.

Sherri is a terrific woman. If you go to class and try, you will pass very easily. She spoon feeds the information in the best way and helps to do anything she can to pass you. Attendance is technically mandatory; if you don't skip/miss, you get points that will supplement the assignment you would otherwise need to purchase an access code for.

I took the summer course, the whole semester took a month. No textbook, her lectures are clear, she doesn't mind repeating herself and notes are typically allowed on exams and quizzes. She is an awesome professor. Highly recommend.

If you suck at math and need to take prob and stats, Dr. Hardin is the very BEST. On the first day of class she said, "I'm not here to make you math majors, I'm here to help you pass MATH1530." She's so friendly and easy to get along with and is incredibly helpful when you have questions. And she gives lots of opportunities to improve your grade!

I love her! Im currently taking her class and she always goes above & beyond, especially during this pandemic. Go to class, participate, print off chapters, and study. Never be afraid to ask questions either. Also, if you attend class everyday you get bonus points & you also get bonus points on the exams too. Highly recommend.

Professor Hardin is a literal angel. She is the sweetest, most understanding professor I have met. She truly wants you to succeed. We are graded off of exams, online quizzes, and LearningCurve. The workload is not bad at all! Exams are easy if you actually take notes and do the practice quizzes. Overall, 10/10 recommend.

No matter how many semesters you have to wait to get into one of her classes, WAIT! I dropped stats to take her after hearing how amazing she is, and it was so worth it. She is the most caring professor I have ever seen. She truly has a gift for teaching, and anyone and everyone can learn from her. Would literally hang out with her in my free time.

I have always struggled in math, and I finished with a 95! If you do the work, you will do good. All quizzes have more than one attempt and have the same questions each attempt, you can choose to zoom or go in person other than test days, she does the capone project with you, and she gives extra credit for attendance!

Hardin is one of the best teachers I have had this far. Math has never necessarily been my strong suit, and everyone intimidates you with how hard stats is in college, but she will hold your hand all the way through. She was an amazing professor, especially for someone that struggles with math entirely. She will make sure that you pass her class, and will help you so much if you ask questions. There are like three quizzes for each chapter, so homework can definitely pile up if you don't keep up with it.

sweet & cares about her students passing. makes math easy to understand. my class was in the library w a GA while she was on zoom in another classroom teaching 3 classes at 1 time so shes very busy but quick to grade assignments. most of the graded material is in the book & u have all semester to do it & her quizzes are easy A bc they give answers.

Best teacher I have ever had!! I love Dr.Hardin. Her lectures can be a little long especially towards the end of the semester but she never keeps you to the end of the class time. The work can be a little hard but as long as you pay attention in class then you should be fine.

This is the best professor Ive ever had. I finished her online stats class with a 102% and im not the best at math but not the worst, and put in little effort. She gives homework which is a free A, quizzes which you can take twice but it gives you the answers after the first attempt, and then tests which aren't bad. GAVE SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT

Dr. Hardin is amazing i loved her class, and teaching methods. She made everything make sense, doesn't make you feel dumb for any questions. Her lectures will always be put on zoom, she doesn't mind if you turn on the zoom just for attendance as long as you look at the lecture later. She made our last and final exam take home which was nice.

Great Professor

I have never enjoyed math, but she actually made it fun. She's so sweet and funny. She offers extra credit questions on every exam and she gives you the questions before the exam so that you can look up the answers. She had really amazing guided notes to fill out and those were so helpful during the course. Take her if you can!

She has such a fun personality and you can tell she is just a good human being. During class, she would go through the notes very thoroughly. She is super accommodating. Make sure you do the work as you learn it, assignments aren't due till the end of the semester but don't let it pile up. I had her for prob and stats and 10/10 recommend her.

Hardin is the absolute best! I would've never thought that I'd actually enjoy a math class, but Hardin made it easy . All of her assignments are easy and she uses guided notes through the whole semester. We got to use our notes on our exams (yes, all of them) and she is super understanding. I took statistics, non-calculus with her, and she was amazing. I was stuck in the Zoom portion of her class, but she's very caring and wants you to pass no matter what.
