She is a great teacher. She is in her 30's and can relate to younger people. She has 8 exams but she gives 10 to 15 points extra credit on each one. Interesting. If you are going to take this class, take it with her, I promise you will thank me and her.

She is a new teacher at elac but she is one of the best teachers i've had at elac. she gives you her note but u have to fill in the blank. just study the notes and you will do well. I just read over the notes the night before the test and i always get an A on the tests. she is very nice also.

She explains everything on the topic. We were the first class that she taught this subject to. Gives you fun questioners to answer. She has guest speakers as well. She can relate to us on a lot of things.

Pretty easy teacher. All you have to do is print the notes out and fill in the blanks during lecture. Never used the textbook. All the questions on the tests are from the notes. You can get a pretty easy A.

For an online winter class, she was great! We had to go fast through the book and class was never boring. Gave us the notes so that we didn't have to write as much. We actually learned!!!!

Dr. Davey is great! very young and fun. her lectures are definitely INTERESTING, winter session has 8 exams with some extra credits, but they are very easy to understand, not tricky at all. just study what she lectures, and you'll get an A for sure. she's good looking too

Professor Davey is without a doubt a great instructor, she breaks down the lecture with power point presentations, study these and you will get an A. She walks and talks with confidence and is a pleasure to talk with as she is very knowledgeable in her field of study. I personally found her to be very pretty and "hot off the grill" LOL.

Davey is great! Always prepared, lectures are clear, never gives homework. Theres no class discussions and no group work like other psych classes. She is young and hot, brings lots of energy to the class. Test are easy just read her notes. Attendance is mandatory, she learns everyone's name, so don't think she won't notice if you don't go to class.

Took Prof Davey for Psych 41 AND 52. AWESOME PROF!!! She takes no BULL (if "lame excuses" is your middle name, don't take her). Print out the lectures and just come to class and fill it out! Tests are straight forward. She's knowledgeable and engaging with class discussions. If she taught more psych classes, I would take her again!!

Mrs. Davey is a hard teacher, she gives out a lot of tests and we dont even use a text book. But her good quality is that shes helpful and knows what shes talking about (explans the material good).if your a good listener & notes taker i extremely recommend her.

Although it was an online class, she gave her modules personality, it wasnt boring like reading a textbook,which by the way you do not need. She provides everything you need for the exams and test on her modules.

Professor Davey is a very intelligent woman. Her class was interesting through out the whole semester. The first 2 months she takes attendance, then she remembers your names and faces. SO GO TO CLASS! Her lectures are on PP because its a lot of information. Participate, pass tests, and do extra credit(if given)and you wil be fine.

An extremely easy Professor. Teaches well and makes sure that you understand the topics. Really engaging. Exam answers are all from her lecture and notes and she grades very leniently. Hardly any homework and gives quite a bit of extra credit. I finished her class with over 100%. Highly recommended.

She gives interesting lectures, she is well educated and knows what she is talking about. A group presentation is required to be calculated for a final grade. Some written assignments are required. I would recommend to do all the assignments in order to pass.

I took this class online and got an A. Super easy class. I never even read the book. Most of the information was in the modules. We only had one essay the entire semester. Even though this class was online Davey still made the class interesting and fun. I learned a lot about the field of psychology taking her class. Would recommend taking her.

Davey's class is very interesting. I enjoyed taking her class although I did struggle with scoring good on tests she was helpful when you seek for her help from going to her lab hours. And paying attention to her lectures will really help you out on her tests besides her notes. Take her class you won't regret it!

It's very easy to get 98%+ on the reviews, discussions, and tests. Content is well written. However, shes so strict grading the writing assignments. I got Ds on both of them but fortunately they barely make a dent in the class. sometimes she seems a bit mean

Best professor in the school. I learned so much from this class. We were assigned a really funny, yet educational final where we had to film a PSA. During the semester we were given a few very interesting assignments and kept a journal as well. Be sure to read the book. Test every other week, T/F, multiple choice, short essay.

I took her for Psychology 1 (online) and I totally recommend this professor. Very clear and easy lectures and she was helpful and kind when answering questions. If you plan on taking her online for Psych 1, don't purchase the book as it is quite expensive and I never used mine, I wish I hadn't spent the money. All tests are based on lectures

Read the modules, and then take down a few notes from them the second time you read them. I participated in the discussions as I read, it was easier to understand the material, and I recommend you post discussions then take the reviews. Reviews will tune you up, and if you ace it the first time, take it again to see more questions.

Professor Davey is the best. She's really nice, motivating, engaging, & she'll be their for the students. Their are 3 tests & a take home final. 1 group presentation. Lectures are fill-in PowePoints. Tests are based on lecture. Their is 1 short paper to write & fun self-assessments. There is never a boring moment & you'll learn alot from her class.

She writes her own lectures for her online students and they are great to read, she appeals to her audience. You'll learn and have fun. Grading is clear and there is quite a bit of reading but you won't even feel it. She recommends a book but you don't really use it.

I just finished taking her online class and ended up with a solid B. Although it was a very easy class, she is definitely a rude professor and procrastinates on grading papers. 10 Exam reviews, around 30 discussions with five peer responses per module, 6 Exams, and 1 Self Reflection Essay(took two months to get a grade). No text book required.

Dont get the textbook!!!! Not needed at all. Lectures are clear and to the point. 5 or 6 quizzes in total. Theyre not bad, multiple choice and written portions. If you understand the concepts and vocab from the lectures you should get A's on them. One three page reflection paper and one group project. Try not to miss class.

DON'T GET A TEXT BOOK!!! Professor Davey is absolutely amazing and really enjoys her job and as a student you can see it. Professor Davey doesn't only care for her students' to pass but she really cares for her students' to actually leave her class with knew knowledge about ourselves and what we want in future relationships. Would take her again!!!

Just finished taking her Winter online class. It was really great! Her lectures are really fun to read. Her modules are very organized and her quizzes are labeled to coincide with lectures, so it is really easy to study for each quiz/exam. Make sure you stay on top of every discussion, assignment and modules by visiting it every time.

Took this class online for the winter session and received an A. Don't buy the book you don't need it! All the quizzes and exams are based on the module lectures. As long as you make sure you get everything turned in by the deadline it's an easy A. Her lectures were actually pretty fun to read!

I took professor Sherrie for PSYCH 1 online and she makes it very interesting. She uploads many lectures and separates them by segments. For every segment there's a 10 - 20 question quiz and a 40 question test. You don't need the book. Reading the lecture seems like you're actually in her class. I would definitely take again! I recommend her 100%

Professor Davey is one of the easiest, funniest, and cool professors I've had! This class is so fun & you learn A LOT! The notes are a DIRECT outline for the exams, SO STUDY IT WELL! Pay attention to slides she takes extra time on. She's very open, I would definitely take her again if I were a Psych major :)

I took her class online for the summer. Professor Davey was clear and concise about what she expected from her students. She provided modules where she explained the course work very well. She also responds to your emails in a promptly manner. I highly suggest her if you need to take a psychology course.

Took the short term online class for Pysch 001. I have an extremely busy work schedule and am taking 3 other online classes and still was able to pass this class with an A. Gives you a clear breakdown on how the class assignments will be due, all tests and reviews can be studied off of the module notes given. I don't think I even opened my book.

Professor Davey is honestly the best Professor for Psych class. I took her online all though she assigns a lot of work they are very simple. I didnt use a textbook even though it was required but her lectures were very detailed and have all the information you need. I would definitely recommend her.

AMAZING PROFESSOR! She required a textbook but I didn't open the book, not once. Online class, so she taught from PPT lectures. Lectures are funny, easy to read, & short. Taught with practical real-life examples. Each chapter was divided into 4-6 short lectures, 2 short quizzes, 1 exam on the entire chapter, no midterm or final. Very resourceful

Dr. Davey was very strict but the class was not hard, she gives very clear instructions and grading guidelines. Just print out the lectures, I stopped reading the book halfway through the class because everything you need to know is in the modules. You can study them and use it on your tests/exams.

There are two discussions, two reviews, and one exam for each chapter. There are about 6 chapters, one is due every week to week and a half. The exam answers come straight from the lecture modules, do not buy the textbook. I took a short term class the first half of the semester and it was not too quick paced for me.

Best professor ever! Her readings easy to understand and fun. If you want an easy A and learn a lot then she's the one to take. Amazing in all aspects, can't say it enough.

Super easy class. Read a few modules posted online (no textbook needed at all) and answer MCQ quiz weekly. Create a post on discussion about that week topic and (occasionally) need to chime in on others' posts. One 2-page easy paper. That's it! Super easy A. Highly recommend - you won't regret it.

I love this class; she is very straight forward with what she wants from our assignment. I took her for winter session online and I learned so much. we would 5-6 module to reading some were short and others long but nothing that is too much. we would also have 2 reviews and exams based on the lecture we would read. Definitely take her.

Dr.davey was amazing! I learned so much taking her general psychology class online and it was asynchronous but she communicated with you in the lectures and it actually made you feel like if she was talking to you, she was very understanding and I hope to find other classes she teaches in my future taking psychology.

I took her 8-week course, and I gotta say, don't fall behind! Her weekly discussions are straightforward, but her quizzes and exams can be tricky, so make sure you read the lecture carefully. You will learn a lot from her lectures. You can get an A in this class as long as you put in the work and do good on the exams. No final exams.

Prof Davey comes across as a bit stand-offish at times. Otherwise, this course is well put together and taught me a lot. Personally it was a piece of cake, because she's clear on what she wants from you. This course is quiz and test heavy, and on the tests she gives you 45mins for a 40 question test, so you NEED to study.

Professor Davey is a nice professor for PSYCH. She gives good lectures. One thing to be aware of is that she does assign a lot of work per week but it straight forward. What I like about her is that she will send an announcement before to remind the when the assignment will be due. Book is not mandatory since lecture notes are posted.

Took 5wk Summer course. Very interesting class! The content was good, and you learn a lot. Definitely have to EARN your grade, and the teacher is very strict on her syllabus and policies. About 5-6 assgts/wk. Overall it was good, but don't expect a grade change or any exceptions.

I took Dr. Davey's summer Intro to Psych class, it is a lot of information compiled into the modules that she created, but it's very concise and easy to understand. She is strict on using AI for discussion posts and your essay, she will triple check every written assignment for AI input. Overall a really informative asynchronous course.
