The teacher goes too fast. Get ready to read by yourself.
Dr. Bryant is a very good teacher and will take the time to go over questions in lecture if you need extra help. Make sure to study for the exams by doing the practice worksheets she posts on canvas. The textbook was a waste of money. I haven't opened it yet.
She is a wonderful professor but there is a LOT of self-teaching involved. She does not prepare students for tests, I believe this may be because she is a newer professor. Tests are HARD and count a great deal towards your grade. Do not buy the text book, waste of money.
Worst lecture ever. Gives too much information in one class. Hate the way the class works. Dont buy the text book.
Very good professor, highly recommend her. The class is very lecture heavy, but attendance is not mandatory. However, part of your grade comes from participation (using iclickers) so missing class is not recommended. There are 3 tests and a final, so if you mess one up your grade will reflect it.
I highly recommend taking Professor Bryant; her lectures are very easy to understand, and she is very thorough in her explanations. She takes the time to answer your questions during class and she does so with great detail and patience. No accent, easy-paced, and sometimes funny. Would definitely take her class again.
Horrible Absolutely Awful Teacher would not recommend, she can't control a classroom she handles situations very immaturely, she doesn't explain material well will not help with questions in her office she feels annoyed if you ask her for help. She explains things poorly and confusing in lecture if you want to do well in Chem do not take her.
Ms. Bryant is a decent professor, but she is not the best. Sometimes she goes too slow, while other times she goes too fast and confuses most students. The class is mostly clicker questions and PowerPoint presentations, but I do recommend looking in the book for additional information not presented in class. (Buy the book outside of USF!)
Best professor I've had all semester! Each lecture covers half a chapter and I think this works at a good pace. Some may say this is too fast, but it's organized and predictable. There is online homework with Sapling and it helps with the tests. Go to every lecture for participation points. Great professor! I studied at most 2 hours for tests.
Dr. Bryant is a good professor and I would recommend her. She moves fast, but she has to, since all of the chemistry professors have to stay at the same pace. She will stop to answer questions and is pretty funny at times. She also occasionally gives her students little tricks to remember things, which I found helpful.
Bryant was great! She's not the best option but she's not the worst. Really solid professor. Understands the material she is teaching and is open to students asking questions.
So this class is straight up lectures and Sapling homework. Bryant goes at good pace to me, since chemistry is such a heavy course. She's slows down to answer any questions and she's very clear when she talks. However if you miss a class you miss half a chapter so show up. She's pretty good. If you take her and self-teach you'll be set
Goes through lectures too fast to understand the material. The tests are insane if you don't study you won't pass. I hated this class. I dreaded every test that was given.
You could study everything on the learning objectives and practice test and the exam be totally different! Her lectures are extremely boring and she seems to constantly contradict herself when she works out a problem. When doing problems she doesn't explain where the numbers come from either so it's like a guessing game.
Dr. Bryant is an okay professor. She seems to really care about her students, however she isn't the best professor. The chem exams are hard in my opinion. She is very accessible outside of class and really easy to talk to. Personally, the exams were difficult and it took a lot of work to pass the class.
She was an average professor, but as a person she is very sweet and energetic. CHM 2046 exams are standardised across the university and are quite difficult, as is the ACS final examination. It will require a lot of work and effort to get and keep an A.
She is a great professor. Chem 2 is a hard class in general, but she tries to help you understand it as best as she can. You have to apply yourself and learn it outside of class or you will fall behind. Watch videos to help you understand. Clicker questions are in each lecture. Much better professor than I had in Chem 1.
Does not teach well, very hard exams. Students correct her all the time.
New professor! I love her attitude towards improving her teaching style and she TRIES. She WILL listen to you, help you, answer questions in class, you name it. I did not need the book, don't waste your money. Everything you need to know is mixed in the lecture, homework, and especially the weekly practice sheets! (Some are even the same questions)
She's an okay teacher. Definitely don't take during the summer. Doesn't really teach just reads the powerpoint and expects you to get what she's talking about. Contradicts herself when doing examples and students have to correct her.
She goes over the elementary versions of calculations in class, then tests you on advanced calculations that she never taught but expects you to know. Her exams are extremely hard, the questions are tricky, and each missed question is 5% off your score. Watch the videos, go to office hours, and don't bother buying the book - you don't need it.
She is nice & will work with you to explain. Do not buy the physical book, if anything buy the online book with the access code. Her lectures are the book s text but sometimes it does help to read the chapter as she leaves tiny details out. Her test are tricky, learn the material & make educated guesses. Not a hard class at all if you pay attention
Shes very good at explaining concepts and gives out very helpful study guides for tests!
Amazing professor takes her time to explain everything, and even if one person doesn't get it she will go in detail.
Dr. Bryant was very nice and her lectures really help you understood the material. Her tests are straight forward and the clickers and discussion section help your grade a lot. Just make sure to attend class and your discussions otherwise your grade suffers. I had an A until the final which was good.
I thought she was a really good professor. All the weekly practice problems really prepared me for the tests. Definitely taking her again for chm 2046 in the spring.
She's sweet but this class was rough,if it wasn't for the grading scale my gpa would be tanked. Sometimes she can drag on about a certain point or go through it too fast. I understood what was going on in lecture and would get the clicker questions right but the exams were hard so beware.
Make sure you go to lecture; her lectures are informative and she will answer any questions you have during them. It is hard to teach yourself chem from the book, especially if you are struggling. Take her practice exams. Take clear notes; it will be easier to hand write them. An easy A class if you put the work into it.
Not going to lie she's alright. Nothing special but would recommend a different professor. She goes over the easy stuff in class & doesn't spend time teaching us the harder material. One exam (not the final) is dropped and 1/3 of the clicker points are dropped (clicker points taken every class). AGAIN--DOESN'T GO OVER THE HARD MATH PORTION OF CLASS
This was an easy course with her, she makes herself available. She answers questions on the spot and do go over things as much as needed. Honestly if you dont pass this class then you didnt apply yourself at all. She is a good professor. She can be confusing at times, and can make things harder than it seemed, generally a really good professor.
Very easy class, clicker questions are done everyday (1/3 total dropped) and if many people in the lecture hall do not understand, she will review. One online homework per chapter, which is pretty simple. Go to class, study the a couple of days up to the exam, and you will be fine.
Bryant is not very clear explaining things. She also moves very fast from topic to topic.
Love her! My best professor! Very helpful, and really cares about students. Ready to explain again and again to each student. Textbook is very useful for exams. 1 out of 4 exams can be dropped, as well as clicker points. Exams are not hard, if you prepare.
She's really nice but she teaches way too fast for the material. Exams are written among all professors
Dr. Bryant is extremely kind and makes lecture fun, however, if you don't have a solid grasp of chemistry or pick up quickly, she may not be the professor for you. She can skip over concepts and be a little hard to follow but will clarify anything out of class. Read powerpoints over again, do the homework/study questions, and go to office hours!
She is very nice and thinks every question is a good question. She will go over a math problem multiple times until everyone understands. Pay attention in class, do your homework, do the practice tests, learning objective practices and weekly practices.
Dr. Bryant is truly one of the best professors I've ever had. She takes the time to answer everyone's questions, gives great lectures with LOTS of details, and works problems out in class. If she makes a mistake (we're all human here), don't hesitate to tell her, she wants to be right. Also, go to her office hours if you need help, or email her!!
Bryant was a really great professor. She is super friendly and open to help any student. Her lectures were fluent and and gives enough points to balance out your exam scores. Studying for exams are a must in order to pass.
took for chem 2 lecture. very understanding. answers emails on time, lectures weren't very useful because she talks in circles but great one on one teaching during office hours. one of the better chem teachers id take her again if she taught orgo. every chem class is structured the same at usf. she gives double clicker points and posts all lectures
Dr. Bryant ensures you understand the concept by being flexible with her office hours and also provides one-on-one sessions by appointment, where you can ask questions from multiple practice resources provided, as well as, she helps you to understand concepts not grasped in class.
Dr. Bryant is extremely kind and yes able to reach outside of class, however, she is a poor instructor. She talks in circles, messes up math problems during class, and doesn't go over the major concepts well. The exams don't match the material she goes over during class and she always falls behind the schedule. Take chem 2 with someone else!!
She is super nice, but you really have to do some studying to clearly understand the concept, because the test are very concept heavy. Her clickers are worth double and are easy to answer. She is very nice and if you visit her office hours and go to class and study you should be fine.
I really enjoyed taking her class, she had amazing lecture slides which she would post online after class, offered a free textbook to look at, she would do examples all the time and was always willing to go over a topic again if someone didnt get it. She wasnt above accepting she made a mistake (like when doing an example problem). 10/10 tbh
Unorganized
I personally did not like the way she taught things, and we would be so behind the other classes and would not learn some of the stuff on the exams from class leaving us to have to teach it to ourselves.
Very lecture centric. She makes it to where every category has more points than needed to get full points so you can mess up without penalty. However, because of this she allows 0 late work, even if you have doctors notes. I was hospitalized and failed the class because I missed too much and she wouldn't allow for make ups.
Terrible teacher. Rarely prepared. She doesn't take full effort to make sure material is has been taught. She never teaches the content ahead of time, causing test days to be a struggle. Might as well teach yourself, that's what I did. Avoid taking her class.
TERRIBLE PROFESSOR!she does not know the material thoroughly, always behind compared to other professors, interrupts class over people whispering which is extremely distracting, crams the last sections of a chapter in a day before the exam due to her not covering enough material from constantly interrupting the class. do your self a favor and run!!
I love this lady! I came her to see what her rating was and was actually surprised that it was so low. Shes very detail oriented and makes sure you understand the concept, she even goes a little too in depth and breaks it down way more than she should for others would are struggling. She is great dont listen to these reviews.
Terrible, if you have the option to not take her class then do that. Reads from the powerpoint. Skips over important information that is in the test. Rushes through the remaining concept on the class before the test. The only good thing is the fact she gives many opportunities to get free points which helps keep your grade up. Attend peer leading.
Tends to read off powerpoint and goes over only a few practice problems. Definetly attend peer leading and office hours, they help a lot.
So I know Dr. B really cared about her students but she is not the best at conveying information. There were a few times that she calculated stuff wrong or misspoke, which Ik she's only human but it was excessive. We had Dr. Zhang lecture 2 times when Bryant was gone and I liked her a lot. Overall Bryant Is super nice, but if you need help eh
Professor Bryant is always so vibrant and enthusiastic in class and truly cares about her students. She has convenient office hours and always encourages her students to seek help when needed. Dr. Bryant is also very helpful in answering questions in class and does not talk too fast so much that it is hard to follow the lecture.
Enjoyable class! Clicker questions every class period, so attendance is basically mandatory. Very thorough lectures, she makes everything easier to understand. She gives a practice exam as well as other resources to prepare you for the test. Drops the lowest test grade and clicker question scores. Several extra credit opportunities. Great Professor
She was great, she took the time to explain anything if you had any questions. Always offered more clicker points than needed before it was capped so you could miss a few lectures. Your grade was made up of clicker points, homework quizzes, peer leading points, and 4 exams (including the final).
She is very nice and entertaining and is obviously very knowledgeable on the subject material, but just not that great of a teacher. Would often fall behind in lectures or get distracted with irrelevant questions. Lots of bonus points to boost grades and as long as you review lecture slides tests should be a breeze. Accessible outside of class.
Dr. Bryant is extremely personable and makes difficult chemistry concepts easy to understand. While the tests are a bit difficult, she provides excellent study resources to become confident with the material. Her lectures are interesting and very informative (she is very funny! ). As long as you go to class and pay attention, youll pass easily.
Her lectures lack structure, she is consistent at failing to adequately describe abstract concepts or what exactly we should know. There have been times where she hasn't even taught us the material necessary for the exam; she is incapable of being clear, and she misspeaks several times during the lecture, causing confusion often. Don't take her.
she is so great. just take her. she really cares about her students and if they understand things. she drops a bunch of assignments and curves the tests. chem is still just a difficult class but it will be no matter the professor.
Dr. Bryant is one of the sweetest people i've ever met. Even her online lectures are easy to follow and fun. She goes through content based on how the class is understanding and speeds up or slows down accordingly. The tests are just worth way too much of our total grade in my opinion, but thats not specific to Dr. Bryant.
Genuinely kind person, really. As an educator? Left to be determined. If you seriously don't have a good work ethic in terms of studying, don't grasp concepts quickly, or do well on exams, you're going to have a very tough time. There were numerous occasions where she spent hours on easy concepts and literally 5 minutes on hard ones. Be wary.
I dont understand why Dr. Bryants average is only a 3.4. All her lectures are very straightforward and shes such a sweet person. You also get a lot of buffer marks on the exams so you can get a few wrong and still get full marks.
Amazing prof. She's very personable and willing to work with you in order to make sure you succeed. Tests are a big portion of the class however she'll give ten extra credit points for every one so I ended up with over an 100. Put in the work and you'll have a good time, this is chemistry not something you can breeze through.
Dr. Bryant was very nice as a person, but the way she taught made learning online very difficult for me. I struggled and barely passed. The tests are extremely difficult, especially if you don't study. Her lectures were a little helpful but she speaks way too fast and her lectures would often go over time. Attendance is mandatory for lectures.
Professor Bryant is caring. She always puts efforts to make sure everyone in the class understands due to which sometimes the lectures are behind schedule. She is always accessible outside of class. Ended up with more than 100% due to the extra credit and curving.
Dr. Bryant is very friendly. She's trying to teach the best she can during COVID, it's been a struggle but I don't blame her. I'd recommend her, the coursework is the usual chemistry and she doesn't give us a ton of work, just a weekly homework, a few "assignments," and then our tests/exams.
Dr. Bryant is super sweet. She is a great teacher and is always open to questions. I had her during COVID, so it was all online lectures, but I can only imagine she's even better in person. There's 1 homework assignment every week, lectures 2 days a week and it's all recorded. Exams are proctored and about 50 questions each. I would recommend her.
She's an awesome person and her teaching style works well for me. Chemistry is a very difficult subject for me to grasp, however I felt I was encouraged to keep practicing even if it took me a while to get the right answers.
Dr. Bryant has been the one of the best teachers I've had. Everything is straight forward from her lectures to the homework's or assessments. You get 2 tries on homework and 3 tries on assessments. She gives you practice sheets before each test. There's every opportunity to do well in this class. You have to work hard for your grade.
Great teacher. Uses iClickers for a grade. Weekly homework. Gives extra credit.
I really liked the professor, she is fun.
The class itself is pretty hard (it's chemistry so what can you expect?) but Dr. Bryant made the experience worth it. If you attend class, do the homework, go to peer leading and put in the work you will succeed. Dr. Bryant truly cares for the success of her students and teaches the content well. She also able to assist you whenever you need it.
I adore this woman. Professor Bryant is incredible. I was terrified to take this class but she made the experience tolerable. Chemistry is not an easy subject, but if you do the homework, study hard, and go to class and peer leading you can succeed in her class. Highly recommend!
She is the best teacher ever!! I really expected to struggle in this class but she was an amazing teacher and as long as you attended lecture and listened you would understand. You get two attempts on every homework assignment, the practice exams really prepare you for her actual exams, and there are a lot of opportunities to boost your grade.
Bryant has clear instructions. Tests are important, most were curved. She is a nice person.
Bryant is an INCREDIBLE professor! Chemistry is a challenging subject in general but the way she teaches is very digestible and explains topics clearly. She provides excellent resources and the grading scale makes it easy to do well in the course. Attend all the lectures, peer leading, and the practice exams and you will be fine!
She is amazing! Her lectures are easy if you pay attention. If you study you will do well!
Professor Bryant taught the class really well and tried her best to help all the students understand everything. She was very personable and went in depth with all of the notes and had multiple practice problems to do during class.
P. Bryant is the most caring and personable professor I have encountered. Lectures are clear and she is willing to slow down or explain a concept if asked, even in a lecture hall. Her practice problems are helpful. Be prepared to study outside of class for exams, she posts tutorial videos and records all lectures. Attendance:mandatory for clickers
She is the best professor! She cares greatly about students and wants everyone to succeed. During lectures she stops to check if there are questions, and will explain the answer in detail. The class is difficult, but she is clear about what will be on the test. Studying outside of class is important, but many resources are posted to help succeed.
The class can seem a little fast paced but the instructor makes it very understandable. Tests are 70% of your grade but they're not too difficult if you study. She also posts great review before each test.
She's a chill professor who explains concepts in a more casual way, maybe sometimes a little casual, but other than that she's nice to be around and teaches well. Study guides and learning objectives are provided for tests and the content isn't too difficult.
Sweet and understanding person. Content is not terribly hard and is explained relatively slowly and in simple terms which is helpful. Exams are straightforward and a lot of leeway is given with homework and in class quizzes/iclickers. If you show up to class and pay attention the class should be pretty easy.
use of chemical lit is super easy, requires very little work to get a perfect score. dr. bryant grades everything quickly and lets you know exactly what you need to submit for each assignment
She treats the class like kindergarteners sometimes and it can feel demeaning. Lectures were often very boring.
I really enjoyed Prof Bryant and her lecture style. She talks slower than other CHM professors which was incredibly helpful for me, but didn't work for everyone. She was very nice and helpful. Grading was fair, especially for Chemistry. The class is difficult if you find Chemistry difficult, but wasn't too hard or too much work.
I LOVED this professor! She set up the class in a way that prepares you for exams and makes chemistry fun. There are required peer study periods each week, which wasn't ideal, but you learn a lot from them and the TAs were awesome. Overall easy course and super caring and fun professor who loves her students.
She's a really good teacher and genuinely cares about your understanding. There's a lot of homework but she's willing to help and if you really pay attention in class you'll be all set and actually understand the material.
Professor Bryant is an amazing chemistry professor. She really does a great job at explaining concepts in a way that makes sense. The class is test heavy but she provides many resources to help achieve a good exam score.
The tests in this class absolutely killed my grade. But that isn't her fault. She's an amazing instructor, the tests were just incredibly difficult for me for some reason regardless of how much time I spent studying. She does do IClickers every lecture. You could honestly not attend her lectures, but I think it'll be more helpful if you did.
Prof Bryant always had interesting and interactive lectures. She gives us the perfect amount of base information to then study on our own. It was a difficult class but any Chem lecture will be. Be prepared to study independently but take advantage of her office hours as they always turned out to be helpful when preparing for exams.
Great professor its just that the exams are really hard, but if you study then you'll be good,
Dr. Bryant made me love chemistry again! Her lectures are easy to listen to, and she just made the class enjoyable overall. To do well on her tests, you need to study! Even if you don't do well on the tests, you can still get a decent grade because of the capped homework points, iClicker points, and peer leading points. I really enjoyed having her.
Bryant is such a gem, this class was fairly easy but you have to put in the work if you struggle a little in chemistry. But overall, Bryant was great; her lectures were easy to follow and always did a lot of practice problems with throughly explaining concepts which made it pretty easy to understand.
she was good, very sweet i just feel like the class is up to you to succeed... as far as the professor goes she is great, i taught myself everything but would take her again if that makes sense
Professor Bryant is great. There are 4 exams and they tend to be quite difficult. If you study and use her office hours, you can get decent grades on the exams
Lectures are long and extremely difficult to grasp because she presents so fast even if you prepared with textbooks and other stuff the day before. Exams are SO difficult but with enough practice you can figure out what you need to focus on to do good. She is extremely nice though..I think the subject is just horrible.
Halfway through the semester she had to leave for surgery but she was really kind. A little slow at times with explaining things but I really think she loved chemistry and it showed. The class itself is def hard and a challenge. Tests make majority of your grade.
Bryant was great, but the TA that subbed in really ruined the class for me. I got a perfect score on all three exams, but I had to teach myself most of the material. Just do the learning objectives, HWs, practice quizzes, and show up to peer leading and you should be fine. Takes a bit of work but not too much!
THE BEST (chem) TEACHER EVER! Take her x100000! Every lecture is very detailed, and she answers every question fully, so you will never be confused. Shes just a fantastic person in general, very understanding and kind. Definitely take her to get a good understanding of chem. You dont have to go to class to get an A, but I recommend going to class.
I was forced to retake this class as they didn't accept my AP Chem 4, this led me to be negatively biased towards the class itself but the professor was relatively good. She had great communication and a lot of my peers thought she was pretty good at explaining stuff.
Dr. Bryant is such a sweet professor. She went slow (almost too slow) at times, but she really tried to get all studenrs to really understand the material being presented. Missed half the lectures and still got full credit on iclicker points. Def recommend
Chem 1 is very easy with this professor. I skipped almost every lecture though and ended up with almost a perfect score just by doing the practice objectives. Lots of extra credit
Chem 1 is pretty easy if you just do the review. I missed a whole test worth of material and got an A on the test by doing the review the day before. She explains everything in the simplest way possible as well, making this class a breeze.
I hate Chem in general.Chem 1 with professor Bryant was one of the easier sciences Ive taken at a college level. Although the course material itself isn't easy, she definitely made it more enjoyable and went over the information slow and steady so you never felt behind. You 100% need to study but she makes it way easier by posting the lectures too.
She is a very sweet professor and cares that everyone is trying to understand or not, even in a big class. The class itself is very boring, full of iClickers, and 1 homework a week (2 trials). She sometimes seems unprepared to answer harder questions honestly, but in general, good experience, and well organized class.
Great professor! She stops and makes sure that everyone gets a concept before moving on and always tends to questions. She also gives MANY resources for study as exams are most of your grade. 1 weekly homework that's all. As long as you pay attention to lectures and study you'll be fine.
Amazing professor! Very caring and helpful! Take her! Peer-led classes are very helpful. It is not a hard class if you put in the work! 3 Exams [45% (15% each)], Final Exam (25%), Online Homework (10%), In-class clickers (10%), Peer-Led Sessions (10%)
Probably the best Gen Chem professor at USF. Makes everything so easy to understand and will stop class to explain if you do not understand. Lectures are easy to understand because she goes at a very good pace and they are also recorded & posted online. She is a very kind and caring professor that understands the students perspective. Easy A.
She is one of the funniest professors ever and I would take her again just for her personality. She has the habit of reading off the slides, sometimes leaving me being confused on topics because she doesn't fully explain it, but will help you understand topic. Video records lectures for you to go back to which is super helpful when studying.
Such a great professor
Decent teaching. Most importantly exams made sense and readable.
Overall decent. She may think you are talking bad about her. However, exams were straight from the objectives.
Professor Bryant is very funny and nice. There are four exams and makeups are allowed for each one. She can move a little quick during lecture but she does record every lecture which is helpful if you need to listen back to anything she said. She overcomplicates topics sometimes. Attendance is mandatory.
Dr. Bryant is an amazing professor! If you don't put in the effort, your grade will reflect that. Her lectures make sense and she provides every resource necessary to succeed. Attendance is not mandatory, but there are iClickers that count as a grade during every lecture. She is easily the best Chemistry professor at USF.
Dr Bryant was such a sweet professor! All the chemistry professors at USF create all the exams together, so its the same across the board. But, Bryant was very kind and sweet. She records all her lectures, posts her powerpoints and notes, and uses clicker app (but you can do them outside of class). Chemistry was a pain, but she made it worth it!
chapters 8 through 9 were the last topics and they were quite confusing, i still do not understand them after finishing the class. but this professor was great and i loved the ability to review recorded lectures and notes. some of her teaching methods were less than perfect. i wish i can continue my study in chemistry with her
She walks you through content very slowly so you understand, which may make for boring lectures sometimes. Her explanations are very clear and easy to digest. Her HW is harder than the actual exams, and all the chem 1 profs give you past exams to practice. She uses iclickers, so if you skip a lecture, you miss out on a few points.
Prof. Bryant is awesome - super funny and caring. The class is manageable if you put in the work. Definitely use the video lectures and unstuckstudy for study prep - they're a game-changer. Attend the peer-led sessions too, they really help solidify the concepts.
Great professor and gives really good lectures. The only negative about this class was peer-leading as commuting for that is terrible, but it is not the professor's fault. She is a great teacher and is amazing to start learning chem with. Everything is clear and you will find chemistry easy to understand with her.
Chemistry is a hard subject and Prof. Bryant made it somewhat tolerable. I think that some of her explanations are too technical and she could probably do a better job at explaining some of the material. Attend the peer leading sessions because they usually help you understand the material. Expect to spend a lot of time studying.
Easiest class I have ever taken. Easiest A+ you can get at USF is probably in this class. 30% alone is just pure participation. If you study a little bit, you can easily pass her exams. Exams are veryyyy similar to practice problems, and she is super sweet. Definitely recommend! (Don't get confused by "point system"... its just showing percentage).
TAKE HER RN!! She's one of the only teachers that lectures actually teach for her students to understand. Her lectures are very slow paced and she makes sure she actually explains the concepts. We have 1 homework assignment every week and her exams are really easy. She gives you lots of practice problems and the peer leading was really helpful!!
Very nice and helpful. Explained everything easily. Cares about her students. An easy A if you pay attention.
This was an easy class if you had any background in chemistry at all. The professor would sometimes mess up, but if you attend peer-leading sessions and understand the slide shows, you will get an A. She also offers 2 extra credit opportunities per semester.
Dr. Bryant is a caring teacher who seems genuinely passionate about teaching and her students. My only complaint is that her lectures sometimes felt a bit messy, and she didn't always explain things fully during practices. She arrived a couple of minutes late to class almost every day and took a while to start class, she was an overall good teacher.
A very average professor and I don't have much to say about her. Not a bad professor and her class is not hard, but there's nothing about her that really sets her apart from other professors.
She was the best among all the chemistry teachers. Easy to reach and was willing to help and explain things. You need to attend the peer leading; it is mandatory.
She is very nice and helpful, however she goes at a slower pace so if that's what you prefer, you should take her class.
