She is a nice teacher and if you have something else that has to be done she is very caring. Don't abuse it, but she is very generous.

There is alot of information covered in this class. The tests can be a challenge, but she always has a test review that is very close to the actual test. There are 3 papers and a chart to do for the class, these are the easy points to keep your grade up if you're not doing so well on the tests.

She is a very learned person as well as being very knowledgable and passionate in her department. As a professor, she is not challenging whatsoever but a student is easily able to learn a lot from and her class.

You take a lot of notes but she gives you the questions that will be on the tests. She also breaks up all the writing you have to do into smaller essays. I thought she was hilarous and she has a quirky personality but you should definitely take her class!

Great teacher! My only complaint, which no doubt quite a few students would love, is that before every test, she would go over all the hard questions. It was extremely helpful for most of the class, but I just wanted to take the test and go home!!! :-) Very nice lady and she has a great command of the subject.

Mrs. Cummings is a sweetie. She provides all of the info you need during her lectures (usually had 8-9 pages of notes per class). She goes over all of the test questions and there is no cumulative final. She really cares about her students and wants them to explore other religions.

Awesome, sweet teacher who really wants you to learn the material. Don't bother with the textbook; everything you need is provided in lecture. She reviews test and quiz questions prior to test time. You have to want to fail. Pay moderate attention and you will pass with flying colors.

Great professor, she hands out quizzes in class that are incredibly easy, and normally material that was literally just review. To cover your world views requirement, this is the class to take, an easy A!!!

EASIEST CLASS YOU WILL EVER TAKE. You basically get an A on the papers and project if you do them without a lot of spelling and grammar areas. She gives you all of the test questions. It's easy to get an A and it's legitimately interesting. GREAT professor!

Professor Cummings is fair and genuinely loves teaching about religion. I took the class over the summer and she was helpful. Book reading is not mandatory but will help. She asks if you want to review before the tests. PowerPoint style notes and you may use a computer or hand write them. She also does a study session optionally in the evening.

Prof. Cummings kept the class interesting and lively. Tests are reviewed prior and the essays are fairly straightforward. I would be surprised if anyone received less than an A. More importantly, she seemed like an friendly, helpful, understanding and open minded person. The exact type you want explaining other religions.

The easiest class I've had. Missing a class or two does not put you behind much though you will need to cover what you have missed. All her projects/papers are very easy and the projects consists of notes taken in class. Passionate about world religions. She will even come by during tests and help you! She is very charismatic, fun, and a bit old school which I consider a good thing. Textbook not used in class, just power points and lecture notes. Make sure you come to class, or you'll have no idea what you're doing for the tests. All of the questions come straight from the lecture notes and she has study sessions that are extremely helpful. Such an easy class if you take notes and do the assign. The 3 essays are very easy, the project is divided into 2 halves and is literally just making the notes pretty. GO TO THE STUDY GROUP FOR TEST, you get the answers for the fill in the blank tests... so easy if you study. Barely went to class & got an A. There are 8 pop quizzes, easy as well.

Take her! Easiest class I've had so far. There is 3 major tests all have EC ?s, but if you go to the review she gives you the answers to the test to study. The 8 pop quizzes are open booknotes and you can work with other students. The two part project is ridiculously easy. Don't buy the book. Show up, take good notes and you'll pass. That easy!

She absolutely refuses to post her powerpoints online, but other than that she's a really great teacher. 4 tests, 3 Essays that are 600700 words, and two projects that are straight out of your notes. I highly recommend. DON'T BUY A TEXTBOOK. I literally never even took it out of the shrink wrap. Everything you need is in her powerpoints.

Professor Cummings is a really good professor. Best part of the class was how interesting the religions were to learn about! We went over the common ones and also obscure ones. Essays, take home tests, and quizzes are very easy and she holds study groups for tests so if you really want that A, go to them they are so helpful.

Let me make this perfectly CLEAR if you are a student at St. Petersburg College and have to take this class please do me a favor and take Mrs. Cummings class, "YOU WILL NOT" be disappointed this is probably my best teacher through out the entire time being here she is caring and puts a lot of inspiration and education into her students. Mrs. Cummings is a very kind person and she details the information you will need for projects and tests. As long as you participate you should do well in this class! Only thing is that during our communism section she tends to misinterpret data... doesn't really read from the book. Otherwise very good teacher.
