Knows her stuff. Over 50 never looked this good! Wow... Classy in every way. Really goes out of her way to help students. Take her for all the classes you can.

she is an excellent teacher. I took her for an online course and it was very simple, but a lot of work. Even though it was online, its easy to fall behind on your assignments. I recommend her class if you work well on your own. She is very understanding.

Great teacher! I have taken 3 classes with her and they are well laid out. She lets you know what she expects of you and if you do the work you will pass with flying colors. Wonderful person!

Dr. Kersey is pro with this course. Follow her directions and you will succeed. I participated in this 14 week course in seven weeks during the summer. I worked hard and enjoyed every bit of it. There is a great deal of work with Microsoft Office. Prior knowledge of this software is helpful.

Very good course. I would recommend anyone who is interested in increasing their knowledge of computers and MS office to take her course. Prior knowledge of MS office would be helpful. This is an easy A as long as you do the assignments/tests and participate in the discussion board.

Dr. Kersey is one cool cat. Don't let computers intimidate you if you don't have much experience, this course is a walk in the park and an easy A if you complete the assignments as instructed and post in the discussion board as required (web course.) I wish she would use spell check on her e-mails to us though. That doesn't look too professional.

I took the web coarse with her. I highly suggest taking this class with Dr. Kersey. Two thumbs up!

I just took her webcourse and it was VERY easy. She's very laid back, down to earth, and can't spell to save her life. But that's ok, cuz I just got an A in her class. Had to come onto campus to use the Publisher program cuz I didn't have it at home, but very very VERY easy class (even if you're not familiar with these programs).

She is very funny. Her class is so easy to get A. I recommend you take her class.

i took the 4 day course - one day a week for a month in the summer- dont take that if you might miss a day it all went downhill. she was very nice although she failed me! She had to, i missed that one crucial day. just do a reg semester.

She is a great teacher and she provides comic relief to the class almost each class. I took her over the summer and I culdn't ask for more!

DK is the best comp teacher at HCC. She is so easy. You will love her outgoing, friendly personality. I got an A in this class. Its EXTREMELY easy! She is very "hip" and loves her students. Don't take any other comp teacher but her!

DK is the best teacher at HCC, her classes are crystal clear. She is always able to help with any question.For the test you can use a study guide and the assignment are very easy to understand. I really recommend this teacher. i took it over the summer and it was pretty easy.

DK is great, she is extremely helpful. she makes this class quite fun. if you finish your homework for the semester, you dont have to show up for class on the wed or thurs of each week. she gives test reviews in class and lets you use them on her tests. easy A as long as you show to class and do your work. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND HER FOR CGS1000!!!

So easy!! Go to class on Monday/Tuesday b/c she goes over the entire test study guide, but you don't have to show up on Wednesday/Thursday, b/c all you do is bookwork. and if you do come on W/TH, bring your ipod, she doesn't care if you listen to them while we work. All tests are open book and the final is optional!

I had her for the summer 2008.I recommend anyone and everyone to register.You go over Microsoft 2007 Word,Access,Excel,and Powerpoint.Do your work and take attendence seriously.Not Hard at all.

Dr. Kersey is fantastic. Always available for help and responds to emails quickly. I took this computer class online, and if you follow the directions step by step, you will get an A Keep in mind that you need the updated Microsoft Office so if you don't want to do all of your homework in the computer lab, purchase the software w/ student discount

Loved her teaching methods always answered my emails within the same day. Always more than happy to help, the class was easy- 5 exams one is optional,theres an assignment due every week, do the chap reviews for the exams you will pass for sure and she gives you extra credit for it too.No NEED TO THINK TWICE..JUST TAKE HER FOR CGS1000!!!!!

She was a great teacher. Her assignments were due every week and she offers extra credit. She responds timely to your emails and has virtual office time. The test are pretty easy. TAKE THIS TEACHER SHE IS THE BEST!

Her class is helpful and easy! The only problem is the system that is used on the online class. Make sure you save the email you send her (It might be a difference between an A in the class or a B!) Be careful when submitting assignments!

Easy class itself, whenever you do have a question Dr. K is very quick responding to emails.. Took it online and had little difficulty all semester. Not too many assignments; just a test and an assignment using either word, powerpoint, excel, or access every week. Would definitely take again.

Dk is a great professor. I would definitely take her again. There is a quiz every week that you take at home, and a test in class about every 2 weeks. She explains things in a way everyone will understand and if you need help she is there for you. She wants her students to succeed and will help you in doing so.

Super easy class Kersey is quick responding to emails. As long as you follow the syllabus & keep track of your module due dates you'll be fine she offers extra credit too. Answers for most the tests are found in the Atomic Learning videos as well as in e-book. I was terrified of computers but ending falling in love with the class & got an A!

There is homework, but we do a lot of it in class. She helps everyone and is wants everyone to get a good grade. I definitely recommend taking her.

Dr. Kersey is amazing. CGS would have been tough without her. She gives great feedback and extra credit! She gives you "attendance points" for an online class just for participation. Her instructions for assignments are clear and she is there to help if you need her. Would HIGHLY recommend taking her class.

I looked forward to CGS 1000 because of her. Amazing, amazing, amazing professor. She is my favorite. Tests are open notes, projects can be long but were fun to me! Only thing I hated were the tutorials but every other CGS 1000 class had to deal with them too. Tons of extra credit as well!! She made the class easy because of how helpful she is!!

Great Professor, TAKE THE ACTUAL CLASS, DON'T DO IT ONLINE. She cuts a lot of slack and offers a lot of extra credit for her classes that actually meet. Most work can be done online - no purchases required, atomic learning comes free. Open note single-attempt exams and 3-attempt quizzes. REALLY helps with Access, it is NOT easy to figure out.

Sherry Kersey is pretty straight forward. Her turn around time for responding to emails is fast, I'd hear back from her the same day. Reach out to her with questions and she is very helpful. Course is taught completely with Atomic learning. All assignments have due dates, there were 4 big exams which were easy. You have 1 HUGE final project too.

She is a great teacher. I'm not very computer knowledgeable and she definitely made it very easy. Helps you with the assignments and test reviews. You can use your reviews for the exams. Highly recommend her.

As my first online professor she has set the bar HIGH. Weekly she gave videos explaining that weeks topic IN DETAIL. She answered questions quickly and clearly. She was so easy to work with. She gave clear grading instructions at the beginning and graded everything in a timely manner so I never questioned my grade.

Mrs. Kersey's online CGS1000 class was great! Her assignments all had clear and precise instructions. She is very caring and will help you through any questions or confusion you may have. The tests were simple as long as you complete the study guides which are easy. So happy I took this class with her!

I love this woman. Her instructions are soo clear her texts have study guides that are legit the questions. To fail you have to really try.

If you don't get an A in this class you did nothing. Prof Kersey provides videos that walks you through the homework assignments. Drops the lowest exam grade. Grades are posted quickly. Easy, easy, easy.

This professor is great! It's pretty hard to fail her class cause she posts videos that walk you through everything, and she is very helpful and is quick to respond if you email her. Just thoroughly watch the videos, pay attention and you'll be fine.

Good amount of work but this course teaches you a lot and you can gain a lot of new knowledge from the assignments. She does offer a few bonus credit points throughout the semester. I took her class online and never had an issue with communication. She keeps you well informed on assignments and up coming deadlines.

Absolutely loved Professor Kersey. There are a lot of assignments due every week so do not fall behind because it takes forever to catch up. Lots of extra credit opportunities through out the semester so take advantage of that. If you do the study guides you will pass the exams and won't have to take the optional final.

I took Dr. Kersey's CGS class online and it was great! Although the weekly quizzes on Microsoft were difficult, she allows you 3 retakes. The weekly assignments were not that bad bc she provides tutorials on how complete them. The exams were not difficult as all the info was in the PowerPoint she provides. Just put effort in and you'll do fine!

I took her class for summer, so it was only 6 weeks. I get that its 12-16 weeks worth of work crammed into a 6 week period, but Ive taken 6 week classes before and have never had a class like this. Tons of projects, and theyre computer generated so the grading is done automatically, rather then by your professor. Shes pretty helpful though.

I had Professor Kersey while my father had passed away, and she was the sweetest person when it came to making up my work. Even before that happened, during the course when I needed help she replied very quickly and was always happy to provide further instructions and informational videos of necessary too. So so sweet I HIGHLY recommend her.

DK was the most amazing professor I have had at HCCFL. She really wants her students to succeed. She is very kind and caring and easy to work with. When you have trouble with something she will get right back to you usually with a video explaining exactly what you need to do. I would take every class she teaches if her field of studie was my major

Professor K was AMAZING, she was always there for you. The classwork is super easy, it just doing the projects for word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access; the final exam is optional so you only take it if needed to boost your grade up. Take her she is great, I finished the class with a 98%

I took this course online only and accelerated but it is very easy if you have a basic understanding of computers. If you don't I recommend putting in a little extra work or asking the teacher. She is always available and responds fairly quickly. The only real challenge is the final but not really, you just need to be creative. 10/10

DK is amazing and I recommend her highly if you need to take this class. She was always available to chat, even at almost 1 in the morning sometimes, and really appreciated my work ethic when it came to her class. I often worked ahead, and I left that class with a 102%. She made a relatively boring class enjoyable.

This professor wants to see you excel. Her assignments deadlines are reasonable and the coursework and very manageable. Take this professor if you want to have a great semester!

assignments are not hard, but the readings take lots of time. if you read the chapter and take notes, the assignments are super easy. discussions are easy and don't take long to complete, and exams are straightforward and have the same questions as the assignments.

this class was very easy but very tedious. the readings are extremely long and the lessons can be frustrating at times, especially on microsoft access. dr. kersey was very quick to respond and helped me a lot with any questions, but the material of the class itself requires a lot of patience. once again, very easy, but it takes time to complete.

She's overall a great professor, you don't need to read the lectures if you already know about computer science but it helps out with the chapters. The tests are very easy and feel satisfying to do, each question for a technical exam has 3 tries or 3 attempts overall for the whole test. She's overall a great professor.

Dr. Kersey was a great professor and extremely helpful on assignments. She was always quick to respond back to any questions I had when I took her course. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is trying to take this course, honestly if I could have her as a professor again, it would be awesome!!!! If you are struggling she will explain it all!

She is a very passionate and caring teacher, but she loves assignments. The work wasn't too hard but there was a lot of it. Assignments are over Canva, Simnet, and other computer software sites. The modules go through Word, Access, Exell, and PowerPoint as well as teaching you how computers work. She is a very nice teacher but assigns extra work.

Professor Kersey is passionate about what she teaches, there was a lot of homework . Her discussion boards are confusing at first but you get the hang later. The final project is worth 300 points and it took me a whole week to complete so make sure you start early. Sometimes I had lags with the SIMnet lessons which was frustrating. overall good
