Taking Dr. Lane's class helped me get over my abuse as a child. She is an excellent role model for women such as myself who had no role model growing up. she used a sense of humor a lot to keep control of the class and I actually learned a lot because she got you interested in the subject

Dr. Lane was an excellent role model for hrt students. My situation is different as I was abused as a child and taking this class helped me heal. Dr. Lane helped me to realize that I will be OK...and hope if I ever have children that I know I will use Dr. Lane as my role model!

I took Human Growth and Development online with Dr. Lane. The class was well organized, which made it easy to work ahead and stay on top of things. Each week we had one quiz, essay and discussion. Sounds like a lot, but it really wasn't. 10/10 would recommend.

I took her online course and it was great. The setup was very organized. The course was pretty much self paced. The textbook is needed to complete quizzes and discussion board post correctly. I didn't mind reading the book , it was fairly interesting. She allowed more than one attempt on quizzes which helped. We had only two papers due at the end.

Great professor! One of the best online classes I've had. There are discussion boards every two weeks that are 500 words and need APA citation and then two tests that are not timed and have multiple attempts. Also, there is one paper that is pretty easy and short. She also offers 2 extra credit discussion boards.

Also the course was actually fun and Dr. Lane's private comments to each student was something that was an added bonus. I felt as if I was the only one in her course! (There were 25 of us)

I did not see Dr. Lane's 205 course listed, but that is the Course I took at St. Louis Community College. This course was so much fun and the directions were clear and understandable. Dr. Lane did not "refer me out" when I had a question. She responded quickly. Knowing she works in the field of Psychology made for a very beneficial experience.

This was. my first online class and I appreciated Dr. Lane's clear directions and help whenever needed. She did not just refer me to "technology". She sent out weekly reminders as to when work was due and we had a large window of time to complete assignments. It was a fun class!

I have to say I have never had a professor share information in such detail that related to real life experience. You take this course and you will learn beyond what the textbook teaches you. Student discussion boards add much to this course.

I am taking the Human Growth Course with Dr. Lane, but that was not a choice so I had to use the 6222 Course. This professor is one of the best I have ever had! I look forward to her private comments for each student. I feel as if she has functioned in the "real world" in the field of psychology and I appreciate her professionalism.

Very positive and inspirational professor! Her Discussion questions were modern and up to date and helped prepare us for psychological discussions that might occur in our future. I love how she used positive reinforcement in her everyday comments!

The Course was very relevent to what is happening today. I especially appreciated Dr. Lane's practical comments, and her positive outlook. I was able to ask Dr. Lane questions outside of the course and she was very helpful with her career suggestions. Dr. Lane was a counselor in the "real world" and that shows in the way she teaches.

I loved this class professor Lane made learning easier. If I had questions she would respond promptly. I just over all enjoyed this class. It was online but you have assignments and set due dates with good time to complete all assignments. You will need a text book for this course and its a work at your own pace class. I absolutely loved this class

Her ability to help her students was outstanding. Many of us were nervous taking a first time on line course. Dr. Lane added much to our understanding of the nature of Psychology in the real world setting. I found this course not only informative but also fun!

I had Dr. Lane when she taught at STLCC in Florissant. I enjoyed this course and how she even made our tests a learning experience. She used to play interesting videos after about 30 minutes to keep us awake! I asked her if she did this and she told me yes...she really cared about us and wanted us to learn. Her quick wit added much to the course.

One of THE BEST teachers I had ever had. Her online class was laid out beautifully. Easy! Work at your own pace!

The Human Growth Course was actually fun. I appreciated the added supplementary power points that complemented the textbook. The textbook was a hard copy, but I am saving it for my professional library. As many have mentioned, Dr. Lane's private comments to each student were very helpful and did not make you feel inferior.

What I liked best about taking this class from Dr. Lane is that there was NO busy work. I enjoyed the discussions and comments made by other students and the individual comments made privately to each student. Dr. Lane's "words of wisdom" will be something I will remember. As a parent it was interesting to get to know Dr. Lane as she is a parent.

I am currently taking the General Psy 200 class from Dr. Lane. It is a very fast paced class. I appreciate all the emails and reminders. Dr. Lane wants you to succeed and she replies quickly to my emails and questions. If you read the Knowledge checks you will do fine on the quizzes. As they are pretty similar. I am enjoying this class!

Textbook was free! Dr. Lane provided the class with added insight into psychology and the real world. Loved this class! Would take a class again from Dr. Lane. Apprciated all her comments to us!

Dr. Lane's Human Growth class is a psychology class that discusses the various psychological stages from birth to the end of life. This course helped me to understand past stages and even think about the future and what I need to do now to avoid some of the pitfalls of old age. As mentioned I do appreciate the time she takes to privately comment.

First off not due to Dr. Lane's fault, the online textbook that the bookstore carried was difficult to get a hold of. Other than that I loved this class and Dr. Lane worked with me on resources with the textbook. Most professors if they even reply to your emails just pass you on. I could list 100 things I loved about this class!

Textbook was free and online! YEA! Class was very interesting with the Discussion Posts adding much to this course. Dr. Lane graded papers quickly and reminded us of when things were due. (Many do not do this!) Loved this course with Dr. Lane.

I had a rough semester and was lucky to have Dr. Lane as my professor for this class. Dr. Lane responded quickly to all of my concerns. I wish I had been able to take this class in person. I learned a lot from taking this class with Dr. Lane. Looking forward to taking another class with this caring professor.

I enjoyed Dr. Lane's General Psychology Course at STLCC because it was informative and had a lot of interesting supplementary information. Quizzes were easy IF you did the "Check for Knowledge" quizzes before your took the timed quiz. I enjoyed Dr.Lane's private comments to each individual studnet. I have never had a professor do this before.

Dr Lane has worked in the counseling field for 35 plus years. Plus her own experiemce as a mother helped me relate to her. Loved this course informative and real life experience an added plus.

This was an online course but you still read the material and added to the discussions. You did it on your own time no zoom meetings Great class learned a lot about psychology.Dr Lanes was great.

Looked for her at Lindenwood where she taught. All the great professors leave. She is great and now at umsl university
