I took her for one of my first GE out of High School about four years ago. I was ready to give up on school then. She is unfair, unorganized, and unclear. It is bad when the whole class has to petition a grade.

I didnt learn anything. She just gives you the work to do and then asks something totally different on the tests. When asked about it she says "oh well, not my problem". I really do not recommend her to anyone!

She never knew what she was talking about- she lost slides, came late, and was more unorganized than any human being on this earth. I had her class once and with her lack of help, cooperation and lack of returning phone calls for help (she has no email) I dropped the course after listening to her speak for less than two hours. A confessed former phone psychic, Sherry Miller White definately fills the stereotype of crazy Miss Cleo. Her lectures are entertaining only for the fact that she is so obviously blunt and rude that it often makes you laugh. She embarrases people by calling them out on their mistakes. With 5 weeks left to go, I feel I haven't learned much.

This lady is nuts. She can't teach, or dress well for that matter. Now about her teaching, she doesn't know how. Our study guides we received had information we never even talked about. She is always depressed and yells at you if you don't have the same opinion as her. I took SOC 1, eager to take SOC 2 (Social Problems) and we didn't learn s*it.

She thought there was an extra week in the semester so we had to take a test and final the same day. We got study guides the previous week but 1 had 75 terms we had never seen so I spent hours looking them up. On the final day we find out she had sent an email 2 days before (syllabus says not to email her) with a completely different study guide.

Her rules are ridiculous. She is really forgetful and expects everyone in the class to remind her of what she was saying or doing.

I'm currently taking her online class. The class itself is pretty easy but the professor is not prompt in responding to emails. Grading system is confusing,She has a rubric but still you'll never understand why you have too low or too high grades. You'll never know how she really grade your assignment or essay. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I took this course online and it was simple work but it is very difficult to understand how she grades. You might type a great response and she'll give you a low score or a short response and give a good score. Tons of glitches with blackboard and does not respond to emails.

Never knows what she is doing in class. Very unorganized and has to have the class tell her what to do. No one understands what the assignments are. Gives us 3 strikes like we are little kids. Do not take this class.

Doesn't make any sense when teaching. Very confusing. Whole class fails her tests because she doesn't teach things in a way we can understand them. She's always having the class show her what to do/where to find something on her computer. Never takes roll. Over half the class leaves by the time we hit the half way point of the 3-hour long class.

Terrible. Dropped it after the first 2 weeks. I am a 4.0 student, and she flunked my first two assignments with no explanation. Seems confused, gives you no idea what she wants. Doesn't participate in the message boards. Don't bother, she doesn't.

If I could rate this prof. on a scale from 1-5 I would give her a -100. This prof. is terrible... She is confusing, unhelpful, & everyone fails the tests because she doesn't explain anything or she "doesn't feel like teaching us the rest of the material". Also, she is unprepared for class and she makes excuses why this is so.

I would rather kill myself than go to this class. She is the Hitler of sociology.

Do not take this Professor she never responds back to you and she accuses people of not completeing a discussion when clearly she overlooks things. She is hard to get rid of people complained about her several times in the past.

Worst educator I've ever had. She's VINDICTIVE, CONFUSING, and USELESS. If she says "Hello, Yes" "Right" "I don't understand" take a drink and maybe this class'll be fun. If you take this class, don't go or buy the book, Google study terms, and take all exams and EC and you'll be fine. Didn't show up for 2 months, I got an A. DON'T TAKE THIS PROF!

I have never had a worse professor in my life. Even online, this professor will not respond to any emails, shows little to no helpfulness towards students, and is an unclear and tough grader. DO NOT take her. One of the worst decisions I have ever made. DO NOT take her.

well well... in some ways I like her, but she is very unprofessional and not a great professor. She always shows up to class unorganized and never remembers what we have covered. it seems like she always just shows up but I don't feel the passion. professor accubbage is much better. be prepared to be confused of her standards.

she doesn't ever check her e-mails. she forgets to post assighnments and then expects people to do them. her multiple choice tests are a joke- she seriously will confuse the class. she never Is prepared. if you ask her to take an exam a month in advanve because you have a trip coming up she will say no and not let you take it. she is not appropriat

honestly, I didn't purchase the book so i thought that I was going to do worse than I did. At the end, she offered a lot of extra credit which made my grade go from a 88 to a 94. I was so happy with the outcome!

I was so exited to take this course as this is the degree I had always hoped for. Needless to say, I was beyond disappointed with the professor in this class. I didn't have to crack the book and she seemed very scattered as if she does not prepare for her students. Even argued one time about her Tenure in front of everyone. Bummer, easy A though.

She is absolutely disorganized and very slow. The whole class ended up failing an exam due to her confusing lectures, last minute decisions to post material online, and her forgetfulness. I was very hyped up for Sociology, but was sadly disappointed with the outcome this semester. I do not recommend this professor.

She is the worst teacher ever. She is extremely disorganized every single class. Her exams are made from the top of her head and i have caught multiple mistakes in her exams but she doesnt change the grade. She is rude and does not care about her students at all. Half the class got up and left in the start of her lecture. Save yourself some sanity!

TERRIBLE professor. she lost tests and is off topic 90% of the time!! If you want to pass do not take her class! and does not post study guides until the night before the test! I haven't learned a single thing. and we haven't even used the textbook once. don't bother taking notes bc anything lectured is not on the test.
