Had her for the Huskin's program. She's really informative and precise. She taught me a lot that has helped me through my freshman psychology course. I remember a lot from her class, which means that she really TEACHES you the material. I recommend her

Brabham is seriously the best professor in the high schools. She is the reason I am majoring in a social science area. Easy going and will move things to fit the class's needs. At Gaston the "old" people complain but i really didn't understand why. I wish I could have taken her human sexuality class.

i dont know what section but her human sexuality class is one of the best classes you can take shes very easy and her tests are based on her lectures... she funny and i would recommend anyone to take her class friut and vege day was one of the best days of my school career i love it and anyone who reads it do take her!

She is the best teacher I've ever had. She is an amazing teacher, and will make a person understand what she's teaching. She is extremely helpful, and super funny. Her class has even helped me with my current A&P class. If you are fortuante enough to get in her class, do it!!!

I thought she was a fantastic teacher who was entertaining, fun, and personable. I wish I had her for all my classes! Book is unnecessary. I didn't open mine not once. Just memorize the power points and it is an easy A. In her shoes' defense, Ms. Brabham is a single mom who has her priorities straight-her kid, not her wardrobe jackxxx!

She is the best, toughest and most understanding teacher that I have ever had. Not only has she actually been a psychiatrist and knows what she is talking about, she uses examples for terms and relates them to real life. After taking this course, you will see your own and other people's behavior in an entirely new light.

I had her for General and Developmental Psychology. She is the best teacher I have ever had. She is sure to keep you awake in class with her great sense of humor!

This woman was destined to teach. She is wonderful. I do not say that about many people. If you go through Gaston without having her as a teacher it's a real shame! A great human being, and an even better teacher.

Sherry Brabham is one of the BEST teachers at Gaston! She introduced me to the wonderful world of psychology and has inspired me to become a counselor.

Not only is she incredible as a teacher, she goes so far beyond what most teachers do. I had had some very dificult personal issues and was about to drop out of college. Ms. Brabham showed genuine concern, she took the time to reassure me and has inspired me like noone ever has. I will earn my degree this year and I owe a large part of it to her!

She is a great teacher. She is very willing to provide all the help you need. She is very though and covers all material very well. Her test are hard if you do not study and pay attention but i you do the test are very easy. I would highly recomend her for any student who wanted to take Abnormal Psychology.

Super hilarious and keeps class interesting. You'll never get bored in her class, her lectures are intriguing. She is probably one of the best teachers at Gaston College!

Really easy class. Just show up and review power point slides for exams. Stays in touch with you almost always, unless it's a holiday break. Did not even need textbook for this class because everything she covered on the powerpoint was on the exams.

Best teacher I've ever had! Cares about her students, easy to access if you have questions, and will go out of her way to help you out. Review powerpoints before tests and quizzes and you will pass with flying colors. You will never have a boring class. I have already taken all the classes she teaches, I would take more if she taught them! :)

she is a very fun instructor i liked her because she isn't so serious about everything and likes to crack a lot of jokes definitely not a boring instructor her lectures are easy to follow and are interesting she's there when needed and easy to contact she will try and do what she can to help you pass her class

Mrs. Sherrill is a phenomenal teacher. She is smart, funny, and just an all around incredible person! This is my third class with her & so far, they're easy! She makes learning fun and sparked my interest in psychology. I would recommend her for anyone and everyone.

Mrs. Sherril was supper helpful. There were times when I even felt that she was going TO FAR out of her way to help us. Don't get me wrong, she wouldn't like give us the answers to the test of anything, but she was very understanding and kind when I had any questions. By far one of the best teachers I have met and she is truly passionate about us.

Mrs. Sherrill is a great professor, she keeps you entertained and makes you want to learn. Abnormal Psych, while an informative class. Has lots of discussion, but PLEASE talk about what pertains to that specific topic. People are there to learn. Not to write a biography about your life. It takes time away from the learning content.

Sherry is great! I love psychology because of her and she is so funny. Her instructions for assignments are clear and they are not too terribly hard. You will not regret taking her class. I've taken her twice and am sad to hear she isn't teaching developmental psych

She loves to crack jokes during class which makes the awkward subjects fun. She is very helpful in problem solving and getting assignments done in a timely manner. She loves to help students reach their full potential. If you study and put time into it, the class is not hard. There are assignments almost once a week. Week before exam is relax time.

It was a pleasure to be in her class.

The only complaint is that a lot of class time was spent talking about things other than actual course material. Aside from that, she was very effective at ensuring memorization was possible through many vivid stories of personal accounts in the field. Occasionally class would begin with half of the time left for lecture due to pre-lecture news.

Not many tests, if you do not pass her class, it is your own fault. Make sure to learn everything on her outlines and you will be golden. Ms Sherrill is extremely funny &amp; personable but she uses these characteristics to engage her class. There is some extra reading that students are required to go over on their own outside of class but she grades very easy as long as you do the work. She understands students have lives of their own. Beware, do not go into class with a closed mind.

Professor Sherrill is an excilent teacher, she made attending an 8am class completley worth it. She was the first teacher that I encountered in my schooling career whom I felt truly cared about my progess within the class and ecouraged me to excell in all aspects of my life.

One of the best teachers that I have ever had. She is funny, interesting, and makes her class enjoyable to be in. Her tests arent too bad because she gives you everything that you need to know on the weekly study pages. Unlike a lot of teachers, she tells you about her life, making her feel like an actual person and not just another bland teacher.

I absolutely loved Prof Sherrill, she is one of my favorite teachers. I took her for both General and Abnormal Psych. She always keeps class interesting with her funny stories.

I loved taking her class! If I could take her for everything I would! I have a short attention span and I am easily to get distracted but I paid attention because she made her lectures so interesting and interacted with the class. She is hilarious, weird, and an awesome professor. She had us participate in creative assignments that helped me learn.

Prof Sherrill is an amazing instructor! She makes things interesting and fun. She has a fun personality. For the most part, the assignments aren't extremely difficult. She encourages class discussion which is fun. She's very passionate. She is willing to help you, too. Definitely would recommend if you're interested in psych at all!

Took this class online for spring 2021. Prof. Sherrill provided outlines and powerpoints made by her with every chapter. She also uploaded lectures where she went over the powerpoints and would occasionally slip in an anecdote here and there. Super easy class as long as you understand the content. Definitely would take this professor again!

Professor Sherrill is AWESOME!! She gives amazing lectures and really helpful examples. Her work is very straightforward and can be done quickly. She gives you enough time to get everything done. Do your work, take good notes, and you will easily pass her class! I would definitely recommend her and I would take her class again! Shes also funny!

Would definitely reccommend. She was very good at lecturing the material, even through online videos. Even if you're not sure if you wan tto take psychology, I would still reccommend taking her class.

EXTREMELY forgiving. Gives up to 3 days to submit late assignments, easy to get an A if you put in the time, and the course is actually entertaining. 100% would recommend.

I loved this class, now that I've graduated I'm reminiscing the time I took this teacher for psych in 2020. I would actually look forward to the 8am lectures every Monday because she's just different, her lectures were interesting and she'd make jokes here and there. She's passionate about her work which makes her stand out from other teachers.

I loved taking Professor Sherill's class, she's hilarious. Her video lectures were so much fun that I sometimes forgot that I was even watching a lecture video. She would tell quick stories or make small jokes while teaching, and it was always to help get the point/lesson across. I've never been able to focus so well in a class before!

Professor Sherrill is great! She's very forgiving with late working by giving you a 3-day make-up period. She tries to make her lectures about the same length as if you were in the actual class so about 30-40 minutes of watch time. She's sweet and funny, and I would love to take another class from her soon.

Professor Sherrill is absolutely amazing! I have now taken two of her classes that she offers, and wished she taught other classes. She relates all information to real life events, and even compares them to her own life! Her lectures are very informative to where you would not have to do more research on your own! She is AMAZING!!!

Love love love! I did the online course and it's been so easy. She answers her emails and text messages promptly and has recorded lectures where she goes over the slides. It's hard to NOT inderstand the material because she's so relatable and uses humor to get us to learn (which works).

This professor made my first ever college experience absolutely amazing. I'm currently still taking this course but I just came on here to say that she is a great instructor. I love her so much and I'm so sad that our time together is coming to an end. She's amazing, if you are looking for a psychology course to take, she's the best!! Oh and MEOW.

This was my first class back in college and I must say it couldn't have been better. I finished the final with a 91 in 20 mins. Therefore I can say I understood and learned ALOT from her class. She's amazing and fun, and makes coming to class an adventure all of its own! SO fun, hope to see her in the future.

All of her work was relatively easy and great lectures. The only thing is tough grader when it comes to discussion boards. Make sure you explain and understand what you are talking about. Other than that she is a great professor.

Just being in her class after chem or stats is relaxing. She can get busy at times, but makes time for her students and always makes sure you are equipped to succeed.
