She was straight to the point, organized, and she really knows her stuff. Be sure to call her "DR." Smith. She gets mad if you don't. She is super nice and easy to understand the material that she covers. Easy A.

Was a pretty boring class, but she did well in making it as interesting as possible. Really easy and she is very nice and helpful.

I love Dr. Smith. Her class was engaging and the assignments weren't difficult but they made you think. I always felt comfortable being part of the discussion in her class. Easy A.

Exams and projects are pretty easy and she lectures from Power Point. Just take notes and pay attention you will get an easy A

SHE IS VERY ORGANIZED AND SOMETIMES SHE GETS REALLY INTO TOPICS AND THEN SHE GETS BEHIND AND CRAMS EVERYTHING IN THE LAST MINUTE OF CLASS BEFORE A TEST.SHE DOES GET KIND OF TOUCHY ABOUT SOME THINGS.SHE LIKES TO BE CALLED DR BUT I WOULD TO IF I WENT TO ALL THAT SCHOOL.TESTS ARE FROM NOTES AND BOOK

Dr. Smith is an awesome teacher. Her classes are very boring but if you study the notes you will get an "A" on all your test! She's Great!

This teacher is great. Her notes are very easy to follow and the class disscussions are interesting. The tests are not very complicated and follow the notes perfectly, so if you take the time to study them you should have no problem getting an A.

She has to be one of my favorite techers! She is very nice and the class discusions are fun and help alot on the tests. She gives handouts that pertain exactly to her tests!!! She is a great teacher, get the notes and you will pass!!!

Good overall teacher. She is fair and is always willing to help in any way she can. Class can be a little boring at times but her notes are clear and to the point and her tests come straight from the notes. Dont even bother buying a book, just pay attention to her notes.

She's good about giving notes online. He test are directly from the notes plus a few things she adds in class. She is almost too happy. Dont be late for her class... even 5 minutes. She wont count you present.

This class is easy if you study the notes. She is not that strict, but she demands respect in the classroom. As long as you are not the class clown, and you put forth a little effort, you will do well in this class.

Fun teacher. She's really nice to everybody, her tests aren't hard and unlike alot of social sciences her class is actually kind of fun to sit through.

she is cool, she has alot of energy so its kinda funny. but yo all in all she is easy. if you cant pull an A or B you are stupid. cuz im a BIG slacker and im doing good

I absolutely loved this class. She is so nice and alot of fun. I usualluy can't pay attention in an 8 o'clock class but this class kept me awake. I would highly suggest taking her class. I wish she taught more classes so I could take another one with her.

AWESOME teacher. Wasn't sure about this class before, but ended up loving it. Her lectures are so easy to understand. Test are easy, and come straight from power points. Would take her again in a heart beat. Easy A. Loved it. Wish she taught more classes.

Dr. Smith was a good teacher. She is a little quirky at times, but her tests are straight from the notes and powerpoints. I'd recommend her, but there is a strong attendance policy.

She makes the class interesting. She has a great personality, and a great interest in the subject that she teaches. She portrays that interest to her students which makes it interesting. Definitely take this teacher.

Great teacher. Mainly used powerpoints that were on her website. The test, pretty easy. I got low to high B's. That's after I studied mostly while driving to school. No homework. One project, easy A. The final was so easy, that I ended up making an A in the class. PP pretty much covered everthing. P.S. I barely read anything in the book.

At first, she was nice. Then I noticed how rude she gets when someone comes in a bit late or asks about something she's gone over or makes an uneducated comment. She looks like my sister too. But.. She's nice most of the time and the class was pretty straightforward and easy.

ALL POWERPOINTS ARE AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD AND PRINT AND TO TAKE NOTES BY. ALMOST ALL OF TESTS ARE FROM THESE NOTES.

GREAT PROFESSOR! great class! her notes are available online so you hardly have to use the book! Study the power points and take some notes on her lectures and you'll do great! i made an A. ***Warning*** she is very softspoken, sit in the front!!

EXCELLENT TEACHER! POWER POINT NOTES, JUST PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS, READ YOUR TEXT AND LECTURES AND YOU CAN MAKE AN A, TESTS ARE NOT ALL THAT EASY. NO QUIZZES, BUT YOU WILL HAVE ONE EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY, AND AN ARTICLE PRESENTATION. GOOD LUCK!

Nice lady. come to class take notes on powerpoints. read the chapters in the book. there is no final, its a quiz on last day of class and there is an article project that is fun and easy.

Dr.Smith is not s hard teacher but you MUST read the book she says just study her notes, but her test comes from info in the book that is not in her power point. Also pay close attention to the end of the chapter review.

Nice teacher...just make sure you study the powerpoints. Sometimes she throws a trick question in there! But overall, easy class if you study. Dont waste your time buying the book, you'll barely use it!

You would expect the clasds to be fun but it is kind of boring because she only teaches stuff from the book. Other than that she is really nice and her test are easy, but make sure you study the chapter review from the book because a lot of questions on the test come from there.

u hav to read the book, i did good readin bcos her questions do come from the txtbk n most of the time she will tell u what is goin to b on test. nt interestin but u can easy get an A, with her extra credits. took her for summer n it was a breeze.

Class was great...3 test....1 project and final...You will never need book...If so for a few things just borroe someone that's next to you..Thats how much you will need it...LOL...She give power points...fun and easy A...Take You will like....:)

This is the best professor I have ever had a GPC. I wish she taught more subjects so I could take her for more classes. The class is easy as long as you take the time to look over the powerpoints before tests. She's funny and enthusiastic. Take her for this course, you won't regret it!

Prof Smith is a great instructor. I highly recommend her!! This is the second class I have taken with her and I wish she taught more so I could take her again. She uses PPT in her lectures which she sends to you to use for notes. There are no surprises and you know what to expect every step of the way. Take her!!

She is a lovely teacher! I highly recomend her! I even changed my major to sociology after taking her class... There are no surprises on her tests, but just make sure to study and you will get a good grade...

I liked Professor Smith. Her her class is very interesting. She keeps us involved in the discussions, and shows videos to go along with what she is teaching. It is a very easy grade, if you follow her powerpoint handouts through the chapters in the book you will make an A. I recommend her class, it's interesting and she's really nice.

The only people who thought her class was boring are the "BUMPS on the log" who sat in the back of the class! Her teaching style is "discussion". I made an A+ and NEVER opened the book. Seriously. Take her class--you won't regret it.

Great class, great professor. Dr. Smith makes class fun by incorporating group discussions. Her pp coincide with the tests and it doesn't hurt to review the chapter prior to the tests since some of the material does come from the book. I highly recommend this class and Dr. Smith.

She's really nice and quirky. If you don't study the power points and read the chapters you won't pass this class. Only 3 tests and a group presentation and final. Tests are 50 questions. Kind of tricky. Lots of theory, some definition and rest is application. She's not very assertive so class talks a lot and everyone tells life stories. Worst part

AT FIRST WHEN WE STARTED I DIDNT START OFF GOOD THEN TOWARDS THE MIDDLE AND END I GOT MY GRADE UP. POINT IS U HAVE TO STUDY HER POWERPOINT AND READ THE BOOK. I RECOMMEND READING THE END OF THE CHAPTER SUMMARY AND BACK OF THE BOOK TEST QUESTIONS. ALOT OF STUFF COMES FROM THERE! SHE'S GREAT! I PASSED WITH A B :) HAPPY!

Great professor! There were 3 tests including final (not cumulative) & a group project (3+ ppl applying a sociological theory/concepts to a film). Her power points are emailed, but I suggest going to class because some power points include ?s that she answers in class. Focus on theories & trends & study notes/power points. Tests were m.c. & fair.

Dr. Smith is a wonderful teacher! There are 4 tests, one short response paper, and a project. The "final" is the 4th test and is over the last unit and not cumulative. The lectures were interesting. You can miss class (attendance is 10% of your grade), however, she does give specifics that are not in the textbook that are on the exams.

She's a great person. There's just something a tad bit off about her. Can't put my finger on it; got an A, so I really don't care. Take her so you can see what I mean.
