Although this was a self directed class, Sherry Wagner was a great teacher. She made sure everyone got the help that they needed and took the extra steps to help her students succeed. I would definitely recommend her for any class.

An awesome teacher! When she taught a new lesson, she was helpful and made sure everyone understood the new information. I would say that her teaching style is straight forward. She teaches you the quick and accurate way of doing difficult problems. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Mrs. Wagner is a great teacher. My class began with the worst teacher ever! Mrs. Wagner had the difficult challenge of taking over our class well into the semester! She handled every thing very fairly! Take her class and you're sure to pass!

I've never been good in math and never thought I'd pass this class. This was my 3rd time taking the class. I ended with a B, and passed the state exam on the first try. All of this is because of Ms. Wagner. There will never be a computer substitute for good teachers. For the first time in my life, I feel like I truly UNDERSTAND some algebra.

Best math teacher I've ever had. If I hadn't already known the material upon entering the course, I surely would have been able to achieve an A. I wish she taught the higher math courses as well. It sure as heck would make getting my college degree much easier.

The very best teacher I had so far. Very easy going. Book comes with software CDs and everything there was so well explained that I went for C student to A. SHe was always there to answer my emails and help with problems.

If you do your work you will have no problems. The book explains the course work very well. I have not taken math since 1996. I am a online student and did not have any problems leaarning the materials. I wish I could take her for all my math cources. Excellent Teacher!

She was the best math teacher I've ever had. She reminds me of the high school teachers in the sense that she is always wanting to have everyone participate in class. She has you do problems on the white boards, etc. It makes it very easy to learn and memorize the material. She is really nice and gives great notes. Over all an awesome teacher!

I have not taken math in ions! I was so scared to take this class, but she made it easy. I was not able to complete it last semester, so I decided to take her again, online this time. I am doing very well, and am so very pleased with her as an instructor. When I got confused by the book, I went to her and she made it easier and crystal clear!

Mrs. Wagner can be an amazing teacher who will go out of her way to help you. She is really understanding and drops 2-3 homework grades. She is great, it's just I am not a huge fan of online test taking. All tests are on ANGEL and there is no partial credit, something you might get from a normal lecture class. I would recommend her.

According to this shes not that good online, but I took her in the classroom and thought she did a great job. She made things clear and was available outside of the classroom for extra help if you needed it. She was somewhat flexable with assignments too. If you put the time and effort into the class you should get an A. Id take her again.

Hate math and I actually enjoyed this class. Took her class online and used a math program that was very easy to understand. Quizes each week and about 5 test total.

Professor Wagner is great. She is very helpful and definitely knows what she is talking about. The homework in her class is minimal but you will learn a lot! I had her for Precalc and enjoyed her class. Take her if you can she is an excellent professor and a cool lady!

Ms. Wagner helped me out a lot. She was very prompt with emails and keeping everything easy to understand. (I took her class online and just signed up for another math class online with her)

This teacher is incredible. She was extremely compassionate with me even though I'm terrible with math. I took her online and it was very hard, but she responded to me within 24-48 hours. I am definitely signing up with her for an on-campus class! She's the best!

It's not the class that's hard, it's the algebra! I took it online, and Plato is very clear in showing how to work the problems out. Communication with Prof Wagner is easy via email, and she will promptly return your message. Highly recommended. Midterm & final are proctored exams at campus. Everything else is online.

Took online with Plato. If you like to do all the work on-line take her. E-mail her and she will reply within a couple hours most times and within 24 hours certainly. All on-line professors should be required to at least do that, what else do they have to do in an online class?

I've had this professor for 1 online class and 2 on campus classes and she is terrific! If you need help she is always there, but if you finish early you are welcome to leave...which makes it nice for everyone. Try her class, you won't regret it! Her magic pen lessons are fantastic :)

AMAZING! She is a great teacher and is always there for any questions. I took her online for intermediate algebra and in class for college algebra and could not have been more pleased. She makes me want to learn and enjoy math.

Mrs. Wagner, was very help and she responded to your request in a timley manner. She gave you different example to the math problems through pencast. Math is not my best subject but I didnt give up and she was very understanding if you did understand and problem.

I was sick most of this semester. Mrs. Wagner does everything possible to help you pass. Great teacher. Awesome clarity and instructions. I would take her again.

Ok, so I'm going to be truthful. Don't bother your time getting the textbook. She uses webassign or internet resources more. One can very easily pass this class. You pretty much just sign in then leave. If you like teaching yourself or are able to, this is the class for you! If not, then STUDY. It's not hard. Overall, nice lady (:

NICE prof. Very kind/sweet, cares about students, a little terse, and very helpful. Dry sense of humor. Can be a bit intimidating. Course was hard, but she made algebra relatable to even the most tepid. Pay attention, take notes, and you'll do fine. Oh, and LOTS of homework - very time consuming! GREAT overall!

Prof Wagner was extremely helpful and offered plenty of one one tutoring. The only problems I had with the class were with the ALEKS program itself... Otherwise, the class was pretty easy. If you have trouble with math I would recommend taking Prof Wagner up on her tutoring offer!

I had tor retake this class because I had a horrible proffessor. She use MyMathLab and it really helped me! I aced all the homework assignments and saw much need improvements on my test scores/midterm/ and final! I am tryig to take her again.

Took this class online and she is awesome! Math is my worst subject and she made it very easy for me to pass. As long as you do the homework in the time allotted, you will do well. Answers emails within 24 hours and is very helpful. Grades quickly. Taking a class by her again next semester.

I had to take College Algebra as a requirement to advance in any other math classes and was put into her class. She was great, I finally understood logs and she made everything so easy. I would definitely love to have her for another semester. Definitely consider choosing her as your teacher!

Professor Wagner is an amazing math teacher. She is easy going and is helpful when needed. The assignments can be long at times, but she does a lot of homework problems in class. If you do the assignments ahead of time, all you have to do is sign in and leave. I would recommend this professor. YOU DO NOT NEED A TEXTBOOK.

She has a very sweet personality and is there to help you pass and understand the material. Most of the work done in class is the homework and also explains how to do every problem step by step. I would recommend her if you are taking Pre-Calc.I wish she taught more math classes! :(

Took online. Very helpful and truly wants her students to succeed. She often drops low quiz grades and opens the quizzes back up after the due dates so you can try for a better grade. Would absolutely take again.

Professor Wagner is the ultimate college level math instructor. The fear of falling short in math held me back from completing my degree for many years. Professor Wagner accommodated me in every way possible to help my achieve my goals and realize my true potential as a student.

I love Professor Wagner! I wish I took her for college algebra which i barley passed. Taking her for pre-calculus and I have an A .She can explain any complicated math equation and terms so simply; i was surprised at how quickly i was able to get it. Her way of explaining and notes are better than any youtube video or online math example.

You don't have to show up since most of the work is online. If you do, however, she hands out super helpful packets and gives a nice little walk through of all the content that module will cover. Walks around and answers any questions and is extremely helpful. One of my best instructors by far

Professor Wagner assigns lots of homework for practice. She grades homework and quizzes so it is easier, and more motivating to be successful. I got 100% on my first test, because of all the practice I had. I only wish she was teaching trig online.

Although the professor's hours are clearly stated in the syllabus, Prof. Wagner always responded quickly through email. For one question, she even took a picture of her work, explaining with notes. That was an exceptional teaching tool. She is highly effective in the area of communication and demonstrates that she cares for her students.

She was an angel. She let me take the first test even after I missed the due date. The mid-term and final are super easy. Wagner is also hella sweet and will help you even if you don't ask. I've never been good at math and it's my worst subject, but I passed this class with a high B. I'm taking her again for College Algebra.

Professor Wagner is VERY responsive! She gives you all of the resources you need for your class, & if she sees you are struggling, she will have a tutor contact you! Very cool! Questions are answered immediately, & there is no 'wondering' what to do. Everything is spelled out for you in her course syllabus/content. I highly recommend this Prof!

Prof Wagner was a GREAT online Professor. She ALWAYS responded back to emails timely; if you question why a problem was wrong, & can prove that your answer could be right as well, she WILL change your grade in your favor. I had many personal & work trips come up during this course and Prof Wagner was VERY understanding/flexible! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Ms. Wagner does not care if you are late to class. She is not strict on attendance. If you have to leave early she doesn't mark you down. She is really nice. Class used mymathlab but she is super good at explaining the math problems! Very clear and helpful.

I took the summer course and it has its advantages. Her regular classes have a midterm and final but the summer didn't have a midterm. Her homework is a must do, you will need the practice to master the class. Quizzes and test and like the homework. She gives breaks and extends due dates. Also love her in class lessons vs online or textbook.

She was easy to talk to, accessible, and helpful in and out of the class room and through email. She posts all her lecture work on difficult problems and is very understanding if a student needs their quiz results reviewed or more time to finish an assignment. She recognized that I am not adapt at math, but I was putting in my best effort.

Great teacher, she knows a lot of shortcuts in math and will teach you them. The class was very easy and she lectures and does homework questions at the same time throughout the class. There is one full day used to review for the test and then the next class is the test. Overall good teacher and would take her again.

Professor Wagner is great. She is very sweet & wants to see everyone pass. She was usually good at responding to emails but the course was a tad bit unorganized in the beginning. This course was difficult but still easier than college algebra. Quizzes for each lesson & exams almost every two weeks. Read the textbook & do all the practice!

MGF1106: This class is easy to pass if you understand high school math. For someone that struggles with math, I suggest reading and taking notes from the textbook. Professor Wagner is there for you if you need and the information is easy to understand. Near the midterm, there were extra attempts added to past quizzes to help with preparation.

Professor Wagner is super sweet and teaches math in a really straight-forward way. She teaches you all you need to know (and only what you need to know) and you dont even have to use the textbook unless you need to. Likes to joke. Easy-going. If you struggle with math I dont suggest her, but if you have a general understanding you'll do fine:)

Professor Wagner helped me understand math again after failing with another teacher. Professor Wagner was very helpful, kind, available, and responsive to my inquiries and concerns. I would not hesitate to take her courses again.

Professor Wagner is the best. If you study for the tests and come to class then you will do great. There are 3 tests that are on honorlock and there is a mandatory final that is worth 40% of your grade. She is the best math teacher for precal ! If you take her you won't regard it. She is so caring and sweet. Just study and stay on top of your work

Professor Wagner is HANDS DOWN THE BEST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD!!! Her recorded live classes were provided later in the day and were paramount to my learning and understanding of this material. I did not look at the book but once because it tended to confuse me, whereas, Professor Wagner made things very clear.

Really cares that each student passes her class. She takes as much time as you need to go over problems and gives reviews for all tests and the midterm and final.

Prof Wagner and her online lectures provide lots of pros, and the fact that she's a caring and wonderful person gives even more pluses for the course itself. She will take time for those who struggle to understand the problem. Just be aware that the midterm and final are accountable as 30% of your grade each. You better study hard for them!

3 show your work assignments (5%), 3 small essays (5%), quizzes and tests (15%), midterm and final( 25% each) I struggle with math but the videos she gives help. She also has a discussion board where students can share links to where they have gotten extra help or show the areas where they have been struggling. Prof. Wagner is great!

Live online. She took time to show problems everyone had issues with, she really cares for her class. It is test and hw heavy but I barely had to use the online text. As long as you pay attention to the modules during class and ask questions, passing will not be a problem. She's a bit fast but has no problem repeating or slowing down when asked.

This class revolves around 12 simple units in MyMathLab and the professor provides all you need in MyCourses. As long as you practice the math and pay attention you can receive an easy A. She is very kind and explains all you need to know each lecture, as long as you work out the problems in class you won't have any homework.

CLEARLY explains topics in class. Going to class is important if youre not good with math. 2-3 topics each week for home work but it helps with quizzes,tests,grades because of the practice. 3 attempts on quizzes, 2 attempts on tests, unlimited attempts on home work. Reviews for every tests. Go to class, do home work, you will be fine!

Very good class, really lenient on turning in late work / late tests. She is very kind but does explain most things really well. Never cancelled a class and does not tolerate talking over her.

I never take the time to rate my professors. IThis was a great class I did zoom online as im away from campus. The teacher is very thorough and she takes the time to help you understand the material. She does require 3 or 4 papers which I knocked out rather quickly. The tests you get she gives two opportunities drops lowest grade.

Besides the fact that I am terrible at math, this class was not that difficult because of Mrs. Wagner. She is a very sweet lady who will take the time to help you as long as you ask. We used ALEKS which at times could be a lot of work but she was forgiving, gave extra credit, and would reopen tests if needed. Would take her class again!

Took the summer course of MGF1107. The tests are proctored, and you get 3 chances retake. The lowest grade is dropped in each section. There is no reason to not pass this class even if yo not good at math because the homework assignments have examples and help you solve.

Great professor - i did have to go home and take some extra time to completely understand the material. She is extremly understanding and is super nice! I will be taking her again.

Look up the syllabus if available, but experience-wise, the reviews for tests and exams are NECESSARY to pass them if u STRUGGLE with math. RETAKE reviews and u WILL pass. Very nice prof and tries her best for her students to pass. Proctoring was scary but the reviews helped with that anxiety. A bit of HW but not too bad overall. STUDY HEAVY!

I took this class for pre-calculus and her methods for solving things makes the subjects a lot easier. She is very patient with you if you don't understand one of the topics. I wish she'd offer a calculus class so I could take her again. I definitely recommend taking her class!

10/10 prof, very sweet, never had any issues with her, course was very organized and there were 2-3 hw assignments each week 10-20 questions, not to bad, and one test every week, all test and hw were online, proctered final bu was identical to review final. attendence was taken everyday on a sheet of paper. knows how to helo students. responds fast

She is very nice and tries her best to help students succeed by looking at things previous students struggled with. The test reviews are helpful. Once I asked her just hypothetically what would happen if we ran out of time on the test and she was just added 2 more hours of test taking time.

Wagner is a great teacher! For my course, there are 2 HW's and a quiz per week. Seeing her twice a week, 1 homework will be covered per meeting and always welcomes questions. On weeks where there were tests there was a mandatory test review that she would also go over that week. She is very helpful and makes all problems clear and easy to follow

EXTREMELY good about late work, dedicated, and always available during office hours. I often saw her tutoring in the Learning Commons. She gave clear and accurate final review sheets, and the final was easy; she listened to feedback from students, and even excused homework that was too difficult. Light workload and online tests.
