Amazing lectures and very creative way to teach. Its always approachable in class andtime flies by in his lectures. Hopefully i will attend again to his class and I definitely learned a lot from him. The homework was engaging and even when difficult he was willing to help out with developing good strategies to make the assignments understandable

BEWARE!! He's a cool guy but horrible at lecturing. Tests are very hard so unless you have the time to read through the whole book and understand every concept 100% I would NOT recommend... also all the ratings on here that are positive and 5 points are fake.

A very attentive teacher
three tests and a final (which can be optional depending on the grades of other exams - lowest exam dropped.) A chapter a week with a quiz over that chapter. You have two chances to take the quiz, so easily can make 100 on every quiz, + lowest quiz score dropped. If you read the chapter and take notes over it the tests and quizzes are fairly easy.
He's so kind and teaches all the things right and in a way that I understand very well!
read the reviews on here and you tell me if theyre real. apparently this guy cured cancer lol. plz report this page/fake reviews so students can maybe have an idea of who theyre going to take. he used to have like 5000 reviews no joke. i guess he paid to bot his page

Professor Bishop is one of the worst professors I've had. When I missed an exam due to personal issues, he offered no real support and was dismissive when I reached out for help. His communication was slow and unhelpful, and he seemed more focused on my failures than offering solutions. Avoid this class if you can.
When I saw his reviews were obviously botted I was concerned but it ended up not being bad. As long as you complete the hw and quizzes and attend most lectures you will be ok. The final was online and brought my grade up a lot. His lectures are boring but if you learn the material it is not a hard class

This professor was not the best in my opinion. This class was chaos, super unorganized, and not structured very efficiently. While the class was not the most difficult, having to do so many homework assignments was a nightmare especially when sometimes he would post 100 question homework to do 2 days before.
Do not take his class if you're unable to turn in assignments on time. Mr. Bishop does NOT give ANY exceptions to any student for turning in assignments late. He does not care if your family member died, dog died, or if you've just had a hard breakup (as he's stated word for word in class). He is not understanding that life JUST happens.
4.0 sophomore & am bound to get a C in this class. dOn't take him. I'll say it again, dont take him. unless u want to teach urself microecon. he gives no extra credit, he wont answer ur emails, and hes so rude. i despise this guy. he is the worst professor in mccoy. impossible to get an A btw. 3 tests 160 points each and need 900 points for an A
IF YOU CAN TAKE ANYONE ELSE, DO IT. He is by far the WORST professor I have ever had, and I've had my fair share of bad professors. Lectures are simply boring. I'd rather teach myself than listen to this man ramble. Will also point out your mistakes rather than taking fault for his shortcomings as a teacher. IGNORE HIS RATINGS AS THEY ARE BOTTED!

Do NOT take this professor unless you're ready to learn economics by yourself and even if u can, the wording on the tests is so convulsive and nothing like the lectures. Reads from slides, rambles in lectures abt random stories that don't matter for class. u don't necessarily have to take the final but the test will sink ur grade even when u study
Worst professor I ever had. There no point in showing up to lectures because he just yaps and stay on one PowerPoint for 30 minutes. Even the reviewing the PowerPoint, practice questions and having group studies would help you. Only thing that would help me now is a miracle
Terrible professor. I emailed him and he is the worst professor i've ever emailed. Responses are terrible and will just copy and paste what he said and says “how about try reading this instead of ignoring it” and puts things in all caps and after I told him I had a disability he basically said oh well and that i'm stupid. I would take anyone else.
The tests were awful, and according to Canvas, nobody made A's on the tests in my class, which is sucky and reflects on his lectures. The average test scores were barely passing. Luckily, most of your grade comes from McGraw-Hill.
Such a shame I PAID money to attend this course. Lectures were just him yapping about random stuff, and when asked questions, he'd never actually answer anything. Tests were so hard, and class averages would continuously be failing grades. You can take it if you HAVE to, with no other choice, but I don't recommend.Find someone else if you can.
He is the best. We had a class at 8 in the morning and attendance wasnt mandatory. This is a face to face class but everything was online. There were quizzes and reading assignment due every week but they are pretty much straightforward. There were 4 exams but if you are satisfied with the first three exams, you dont need to sit for the final!!
Goated guy. Only do the McgrawHill connect assignments each week properly and you will be fine and get an A. He also drops 1 exam, so if you do well enough in the first three exams, you wont need to give the final exam as well. Also attendance is not mandatory whatsoever. This guy is absolutely goated.
