Best Professor I ever had at this school. I took her for both semesters. Take her if you hate econ, and take her if you love econ.

She is sooo funny. She is a little unorthodox but she makes this class breeze by. She is not an easy teacher but instructs her classes so clearly that it seems easy.

i loved her class. she makes econ easy. i didn't use the book. i always set the curve. some still find this class difficult but she definetly will do extra to help you. she is great. i could tutor econ b/c of how good she taught me.

What makes the class excellent? It's because we have a great teacher who gives us the understandable and clear instructions and classify the theories nicely so we can really learn things under a cheerful atmosphere.

I transfered to Washburn this year, and I have no teachers like Sheryl Hadley :( Shes so hot and teaches so well. I hate Econ! I had previously dropped it twice before this class. She is the absolute best! I get the subject material and actually enjoy going to an econ class. She will help you if you do not understand something and she really cares how you are doing in her class. If you need to take an econ class, take it with her!

I had no interest in this topic but needed it for a degree. Now since having her as a teacher I am interested in taking more classes in this topic and having her again as a teacher. GREAT teacher!! A big plus is that she is a GORGEOUS and SMART woman, kept my attention!!!!

One of the best intructors JCCC has to offer. I was not interested in econ what-so-ever but after Mrs. Hadley's class it has become one of my favorites! I'll be taking her Micro class next semster so that I can hear more of her humerous econ realted personal stories.

She is a good teacher I learned a lot. Sometimes I had trouble keeping up. It was hard to see the notes on the blackboard. Economics is not easy to me. Overall she is funny, helpful and very nice. Definitely recommend her!

Great teacher. It was truly a pleasure to attend her classes. Just make sure you are there on point days and study for the tests and you should be able to succeed in her classroom. Thank you Miss Hadley.

She was very easy to work with and really nice. Related the course material to everyday things that you can understand and made class fun. She was very outgoing and told you what she thought. Make sure you are there on point days for the little homework that is assigned. Don't bother to get the book all her test material is from her lectures.

one of the funniest prof i have ever had. every class before the test was a review and optional. hardly any outside class work and she made the class fun and interesting. Im taking her for econ II next semester and any other class I can. Shes AWESOME!!!

Hadley is amazing; she's fun and energetic and seems to really enjoy teaching. If you have to take Econ 1 (probably most of us), Hadley is definately the teacher to take!

She's a really good and entertaining teacher and she makes Econ really come alive even though I didn't want to take the class. This doesn't mean she's an extremely easy teacher, though. She does expect text reading and her tests are all right. Mostly multiple choice and some short answer.

Fantastic professor. She knows Econ and she can teach it. She is full of hilarious stories and is always in a great mood. All HW is done in class on certain days and tests are pretty easy, but do require some study. Mostly, the class is note taking and lecture with a couple of online assignments. Very awesome teacher! Textbooks will not be required. Just copy EVERYTHING down that she writes up on the board. She basically writes your notes for you. Everything you will need to know for the test will be in the notes. If you have any questions, she will take time out of her day to help you 1 on 1. Amazingly helpful, fast replies to all emails

I had a summer class with her and while she is a good teacher, she teaches like an high school teacher. I had no problem getting an A without trying. I was expecting more from a college professor, especially one that has a good reputation but her course was designed so that you don't have to learn the material.

Micro is a little harder than Macro but Hadley makes it easy. She is my favorite professor at JCCC by far. You will laugh every class, but then still learn the material. Because of her, I am minoring in economics. :) If you don't take her you are definitly missing out.

Miss Hadley is a brilliant instructor. No one knows economics the way she does, and she is a very effective teacher. She really knows how to relate the material to things people can understand to help them learn. She is also very lenient with attendance, but you will need to show up for point days if you want an A in the class.

Sheryl is definitely the best teacher ever. I took her in the fall of 2012. She takes a boring subject and puts it in perspective for students. There are connect assignments and point days, just make sure to show up for that. She tells you in advance when those days are.

The information presented is pretty complicated.She knows what she is talking about and makes is easier by applying it to every day situations. I would definitely recommend her. Highly recommended for anyone that needs to take economics. I took the 4 week course over Winter break. There was intensive reading required every single day. She recommended 5-6hrs/day of studying but I got by with 2-3hrs. If you do the homework and follow the lectures you should no problem getting an A.

I took Hadley's 8 week Micro class, and it was probably the best decision I made all year. It can be work-intensive because it's a half semester, and you need to stay on top of things, but the quizzes give 2 chances and as long as you stay on top of the work it's an easy A. I never felt overwhelmed, and I would totally take another class with her.

If you take notes and do the homework -which is now only for extra credit- you will have everything you need to know for the tests. Took her the semester after for micro in the 8 week sped up course and the online class was very well laid out with no questions about due dates. Would recommend her to anyone!

Professor Hadley is amazing. I took her accelerated online class for micro and it was great. Everything is very clear and straight-forward. Another person commented that the online class was impossible, its not. I live in Lawrence and attend KU full time. Just read the book then go over notes you'll be fine. Finished the class with 100% tons of EC!

I love her!! Professor Hadley gives amazing feedback and curves most of the exams to help out those who maybe forgot to study or those who just didn't grasp the material for that chapter. Her class is so much fun and her bright, bubbly personality could make the most boring class exciting. She truly wants each student to do their best and succeed!

Professor Hadley was great. I took a summer microecon class and it was easy to navigate and well laid out. There was lots of extra credit available that allowed me to finish the class with a 106%. If you read the book and notes you will walk away with an easy A and lots of new knowledge.

Professor Hadley is an easy Professor. Most of your grade is based on attendance and the rest is on exams. The exams are done online and are incredibly easy. I did feel that she sort of rushed her teaching and didnt provide a reason for me to care about what I was learning. That being said, she is a great professor and this is an easy A.

I would not take this class again and its not because of the professor. She was absolutely amazing I just hated Microeconomics. I did do well and she does all that she can to make it a good class with lots of feedback!! Be sure to ask questions if you need help, she's really great at explaining things.

I took this class online in an 8 week course. There was a lot of material in a short amount of time but she made it as easy as she could have! She posts videos that she makes herself to help work different math problems out. I'm taking her class again.

Wasn't sure how I was going to manage an online econ class, but she provides lots of resources so that everyone can understand the material and is very consistent in the types of questions asked on homework/tests. If you do the work she outlines and use the resources she provides, you will get an A.

She makes the class very interesting. All the online test have little to do with what she teaches, but all the participation points will make up for that. Just show up to class and do the easy homework and you should get an A.

Sheryl Hadley is an upbeat professor that is eager to help her students learn. She makes tough concepts seem easy to understand. She is willing to help you during her office hours.

This professor is one of the BEST. Not too many assignment and gives GREAT lecture notes so you don't really have to read the textbook too much. 100% recommend her.

Professor was very willing to give feedback, and was not hampered by the online class format. She is kind, funny, and actively engaged your development. She rewards you for participation and grasping the concepts with ample extra credit. The material was very easy, and not too difficult to do at any time. Would definitely take her again.

I loved this class! Took Macro in 4 weeks over winter break and it was incredibly easy. I spent about 15 minutes a day on the class and did just fine. No proctored exams either, which makes it so much more accessible.

Professor Hadley is a diamond. She is great, her lectures are super fun. You will learn if you go to class. Attendance is mandatory. You will lose points if you arrive late and you will not pass if you skip classes.

I took this as an online 8 week at the beginning of the semester, it made it have a faster turnaround for the assignments but she was super nice and gave feedback on all homework. tests were not proctored and im enrolling in another one of her classes

Took her for both Macro and Microeconomics, amazing teacher! Minimal work, easy A. Gives amazing feedback, very caring. Would absolutely take again. Note packets and videos are incredibly helpful! I barely needed the paper copy of the textbook. The class format is tough if trying to study for AP exams, but that's just me.

I had professor Hadley for Micro & Macro. She is the best!! In Macro I had her f2f and Micro online and both times she was absolutely amazing. Online: homeworks and exams through connect, game-like application assignments, discussion board, mini exams. F2f, she cares and makes sure you understand and she is funny. I highly recommend it.

If you show up and do the vocab you will be fine. She is willing to help anyone and doesn't move too fast for the material. Test are very similar to practice you do in class easy to study.

I accidentally registered for her accelerated macro econ course. I was nervous at first because it was faster paced but I was pleasantly surprised. Prof. Hadley structured the online class very well and definitely gave us the tools to succeed. I am registering for her accelerated micro econ course next semester and I would definitely recommend her!

The best teacher ever. EVERY assignment was open note and open book. Responsive and thorough in emails. Very generous with assignment grading/attempts. LOTS of extra credit which is weighted highly. Homework via McGraw Hill; A LOT of it, but REALLY effective and not complicated. Very thorough class which WORKS.

Professor Hadley is the best. I learned a lot in her class. I attended ECON 230 and 231. I would never pick any other professor. If you go to class you will learn! ECON 231 became online due to COVID. Online was not the same experience. Her face-to-face class is AWESOME. Even if you do not need ECON ... you should take her class (F2F).

Professor Hadley is a real gem. Tests are reasonable. Homework is reasonable. She gives plenty of time for reading and homework. It is structured very neat and organized. I finished the 7 week ECON 231 course with an A while working full time and taking accounting 3, so that should tell you that this is a manageable course with manageable workload.

She really made economics feel easy and the assignments were super easy

I took Microeconomics online with Professor Hadley, she's the best! There were a decent amount of assignments but I never felt overwhelmed. She clearly outlines in her syllabus how to succeed in her class, I did the assignments and watched her videos and got a great grade. She makes it easy to succeed, I would definitely take her class again.

Great professor!! Econ is hard to learn but she gives you all the resources that you need to easily pass this class. I took her online 7 week course so there was about 7-8 assignments for each unit, disc. board, smartbook and connect chapters, an application based activity, a problem mini exam, & a unit exam. It was not super time consuming either.
