I took her course online You have to do ALOT of reading but it is really easy. You take a test on 20 chapters with the oppourtunity to take the test again if you got a bad grade and you have to do 4 research papers her class was really easy

Dr. Hartman is a really nice teacher. She always has a very positive attitude and loves her job. Her class is easy, you just have to read the chapters she assigns and you will do great in her quizzes and her test.

She gives you 10 points for every class you attend, which helps for final grade. You need the book because all of the quizzes and tests are based entirely on the book. She allows you to use the book for the tests but not for the quizzes. This is an easy A! Just show up and read the book.

I took Professor Hartman for an online class so I never had the pleasure of meeting her but I must say that she is a GREAT professor. She wants students to pass her class and with a good grade. This class was a breeze. Lots of prompt e-mail communication. A couple of discussion posts. Quiz after each chapter. Proctored midterm. Online final. Extra credit opportunity. Even if you don't do all the reading and watch all the videos you can still get an A.

And then there are 3 shorts papers based off any module you want. There is a final test, and that is basically it. You will not regret taking her class, she is great.

I often found myself rolling my eyes half the time in this class because of all the informative presentations this Professor had, financial, gym, library use. Only to realize that she does alot of it to inform each student of all the great things offered by MDC. She truly cares& im really glad I got to take her class, eye rolls and all! Lol

Not a bad class. Quizzes every week. You have to know how to scan through the book for answers during quizzes because most of the questions are not actually things we learned. I realized that after the second quiz. 3 papers instead of midterm, there was a proctored final that she did not give a study guide for.. which I failed.

I am a veteran and MDC had dropped all my classes because of an error they did and Mrs. Hartman helped me out with my assignments due date and also guided me to the right tech person to fix my account. Other teachers would have told you to figure it out on your own, unfortunately.

SO GREAT! Dr. Hartman is a great professor who genuinely cares for her students. Assignments can be a lot at times but are fairly easy and quick. Understanding of situations and will help you get them done. Very easy to access outside of class and will email you updates which is very nice. My book was $21 rented on amazon. You will take 1 Syllabus Quiz, 3 Discussion Assignments, 4 Module Quizzes, 1 Midterm, 1 online Final, and a Extra Credit Quiz which is optional but overall her class is easy and understanding.

What an asset to MDC. Professor Hartman pushed me when I didn't think I could excel any further. Her lectures- amazing and never boring! She tells you exactly what you need to know,no tricks. After a 10yr hiatus from school I decided to start with psy2012. At first there were some challenges because the class was online but eventually it worked out. The professor is kind, patient and willing to work with you. She gives extra credit for attendance and extra work. Discussions, writing assignments % quizzes. Final not proctored.

Mrs. Hartman is understanding & is alway available to help. She responds to emails within a day & is very straight forward. Her course is laid out in a VERY simple manner & it is hard to get confused. A few quizzes, a proctored mid term, & non proctored final. Work is pretty simple & straight forwards. Had her live, she's a good professor. You need to keep your camera on at all times; otherwise she'll call you out. Assignments are very easy. Reads only the chapters/lessons relevant. After a chapter, we present to the class after being in breakout rooms & discuss what we've learned. If you don't like being on camera, this class isn't for you.

This professor is genuinely amazing. She is extremely kind and if you do assignments late she does not mind as long as you complete them. Make sure you have your cameras on, because as stated she will mention it. Exams are not too difficult, use the study guides. Homework amount is very reasonable and this class is overall pretty easy. As for the class itself it's mostly completing the discussions and doing the textbook assigments. At the end of the course she offered extra credit as well. I would %100 recommend taking her class.
