Never had her for a prof but have stood outside her classes. Seems like a very bitter lady. Very demanding and never satisfied. I've had adult education students (who generally seem to be on the ball; atleast more so than younger students) tell me to avoid her like the plague. I have. Thank God!

Assigns more work than you do in other classes alltogether. Never satisfied with quality of your work. Always makes things much harder than they are. Unhelpful. You cannot reason with her. Besides, she's really annoying: makes stupid sounds, remarks and poses. I strongly suggest to avoid her.

Problem with Research Paper. She was very casual and general about topic, but after I received a B, she elaborated on what the topic was about. I argued that her original instruction was general, and her followup was more detailed. She said I didn't understand. Most level-headed instructors would know when they are wrong, but not this Nazi. Avoid!!

If you miss deadlines by 1 minute you receive a zero.I was taking a class online and working full-time, and because of an emergency at work could not complete the assignment by midnight. Zero tolerance doesn't work in the classroom. I take online classes to learn the subject, not what a deadline is. Teachers like this are bad for the institution!

I was taught; "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all."----- Get the point?... What a bad experience this was.

This professor is horrible!! There is tons of work and if you have no life take her class.. especially the online one because you will be online for literally 3 hrs every night doing vague assignments that you will probably get a "D" on. Change professors right away!!!

i've only been in her class for 2weeks & i CAN NOT stress enough that its THE worst class at Fdale. The workload is complete BS and i can honestly say i have learned absolutely NOTHING so far from her, thank god i bought the textbook. Worst Professor ever. This is the first class that I ever dropped. Stay away from her. Take her class only if you want a very low grade.

They don't call her Sheryl Sausageknocker for nothing. Farmingdale should be embarrassed for employing this nut. Sausageknocker is a miserable excuse for a teacher. You will do alot of work and learn nothing. On registration day remember the name Sausageknocker and choose Maurino instead.

I personally think Farmingdale hired her not teach but to fail students. If you take any of her classes your bound to receive a low GRADE.... I strongly advise all students to beware of her classes, skip a semester if you need the credit. she'll kill your GPA and your confidence in respect to teaching in this Higher education field.

She is a very hard grader. Not understanding at all. Lowers your overall confidence. If you take her just expect to get a lower grade than you normally would. If you don't follow every direction word for word your grade will suffer dramatically and there's no argument, she does not care what you have to say.

This teacher is to be avoided at all costs. Very rude, not very helpful or understanding. A hard grader. She is known as the hardest teacher in the BCS/CIS field at farmingdale. This does not just come from me but also many other students I have meant throughout the years ive attended FSU

She is the worst professor in the BCS department. Her instructions are incredibly vague often ending with "if you don't know what this is, look it up", in the actual syllabus. She does not use a rubric to grade assignments and grades very harshly. She takes more points off for format errors than content errors. Missed a line? -30 points. Must Avoid

By far the worst professor I have ever encountered. Has no business teaching online. Syllabus is a mess. Directions unclear, then takes off 30 points for typing in a wrong cell. Meanwhile has typos all over her documentation. An utter joke that seems out to ruin your GPA. Only professor I have ever rated negatively.

Assignments Galore

One of the most unhelpful and unclear teacher I've ever had. Makes students use Microsoft Visio but refuses to teach it or provide any assistance. Gives graded homework on subject matter that she doesn't teach until after its due. Large group project that spans the semester but no complaints about that. Just a terribly unhelpful teacher overall

Requirements for grading are all over the place. She'll complain about a missing title in one assignment, yet let it go in another. Not to mention that including a title is redundant in most cases. It's a completely random experience. Maybe you'll get a good grade. Maybe you won't.

This professor does not grade whether or not your homework answers the question. She grades the work based on what she believes it should look like. If you make a grammatical error in the name of the file you submit, she will take off 10 points. Do not just follow the book, ask her repeatedly if your work is acceptable. Her way or the highway.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! IMPOSSIBLE to be so incompetent at your job and expect everyone around you to read your mind. Unclear and confused assignments and grading. She should have never been teaching, NEVER! Never take her. Never. I would give Zeroes if this website didn't require the 1 grade minimum.

This is one of if not the worst professor I have ever had. She is so vague in homework instructions and takes off points if you don't have included what she was looking for. She lets you know AFTER the assignment was due in class what she was looking for. I've never heard of a professor that grades homework so harshly. Absolutely terrible.

Taken as an online summer course. HORRIBLE to navigate work and instructions. Assigns work everyday, literally 7 days a week, that is due the same night and gives a 0 if its late. Leaves no chance to email for help. Grades like an English teacher but doesn't comment about content. Proof read your work and stay on top of due dates or you'll fail!!

No clear deadlines of homework on blackboard so you better be on top of the assignments. I can honestly say she is the worst professor i have taken so far. She is not lenient what so ever. Worst professor ive ever had before. Extremely unorganized with all her material. She is very vague in all her assignments, and you never really know what she is looking for. She grades however she wants, there is no rubric for any assignments. When you do ask for help, usually her response is "Well look it up". Avoid taking any of her classes.

No professor has ever made me want to drop out of college more than this poor excuse Farmingdale has for a professor. For an upper level class no less... She is a very nice person but she just really is not good at her job whatsoever, and Farmingdale should re-evaluate her. Or she should really reevaluate her entire way of teaching, grading, etc.

She has assignments due on things you'll never learn in class and grades them as if you've done it at some point in your past life. She lectures about topics of an information systems that you'll need to study for the exams. Tip, go to her office hours before submitting your assignments to get good grades. do not recommend, good luck

By the end of the semester, you will do hundreds of hours of homework assignments for this class only to be given a C+ if you're lucky. The grade you get is essentially whatever she feels like giving you at the time.

She's too harsh. Not lenient at all. You will cry and want to drop out if college just because of this one class. She's not flexible at all and it sucks because she is the ONLY ONE teaching BCS303 in Farmingdale university. She's not a good professor, doesn't give engaging lectures. Took this class twice and I honestly haven't learnt a thing.

Well, I made it one week in before deciding to drop. I've never seen an online class so dysfunctional in my life. Assignments due every two weeks, a group project without giving us an opportunity to talk to our peers, and strict grading when it comes to punctuation and spelling (in a technology class). Stay far away.

Avoid taking this Professor at all cost. I graduated from Farmingdale in 2014 and let me just say not only is she awful but the classes are going to be a waste of your time. Do not pursue the web development track at Farmingdale. The courses specifically the ones she teaches are not valid in the real world.
