She is the worst teacher I've ever had. She do not respect students and treat them like school teacher! Never give an A for papers, just B, B-, C! If you see her name-- RUN!!!!

The worst professor ,do not take you will regrade. Not fare with grading, you do a lot of work, she does not care, if she dislike you then you are out of her attention. Not helpful at all, she just like to judge not help. If you want to receive a grade C or less then you can take her if you deserve better please DO NOT register for this Pr.

she's one of the worst teachers ever. she was late for half the semester and made all her students wait out side of the classroom for over 15 minutes when she expects us to be on time and to have good attendance. all we does in her class is to read out loud when we are suppose to read at home. i mean this is not a reading class, it's college Englis

if you are not from the islands run, do not walk and drop this teacher she is not for you. you will not receive any instructions, just rebuke for mistakes, no guidance towards improvement!

Truly the worst class I have ever been in. For me English was never a chore but something I LOVED doing, and this woman destroyed it. Not only is she condescending and arrogent, she's a terrible professor. I've had such an amazing experience at Kingsborough, and to come across someone like this is just so awful.

The best thing about Ms. Williams is her sexy voice. She probably has a passion for the subject but it doesn't translate to instructing. She chastises students reminding them "This is COLLEGE" but she runs class like it's middle school. She gloats that she could get an A on a paper with very little effort. She must work with that same effort.

I Learned nothing in her class. But I Did learn How to sit in groups and do nothing, How to be constantly late, To watch desperate housewives in class because I missed it at home,etc. She doesn't teach at all. Spent a lot money on books that we never used. Take her class if you want to learn absolutely NOTHING. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

She is strict about attendees not allow eat in class. to much work. she is not a teacher. no help and teach at all at anything! she is no good. she said once "i can be in a bad mood sometimes so be ready for it" WTF?! So I as a student can be in a bad mood too sometimes?!

Not even trying to be rude here but she was the worst professor I have ever had. So unhelpful, unclear and useless. Couldn't clearly describe what she wanted for any assignment. If I could go back I would've dropped her in the beginning. I usually enjoy English class but she made it quite unenjoyable. Teaching is not something she should be doing.

She might actually be the worst teacher I've ever had. She makes mistakes and then blames her students for them. She doesn't answer questions properly and then gets mad when you ask her to clarify. She acts as if though she's teaching middle school kids and I wouldn't even feel comfortable having her teach at that level either.

Absolutely the worst professor I have ever taken. Extremely vague and disrespectful. Constantly ridicules students in order to make herself look smarter when in reality she is a fool. Avoid her class if possible.

WORST teacher I have come across. She's unorganized, can't teach properly, and it's hard to understand what she wants from assignments because she never tells you exactly. Also she has a bad attitude. You can't even ask a question, she'll get mad and and give you a hard time. She always makes fun of students. Would not recommend this professor.

She is by far the worst professor I have ever encountered. I got a good grade but the experience was torture. She thinks she explains things clearly but she is so vague. Never, ever ask a question because she will seriously yell at you for even questioning anything. I would have reported her but I got my A. Any other prof would have given me an A+.

She's terrible. Vague. And gets annoyed when students ask questions for clarity. Ive never seen a class of students try SO HARD to understand what a professor is saying and still get a bored and annoyed reaction from a professor. She hates explaining things. avoid if possible

The worst professor ever I would not take her again. Her teaching method is unclear, she doesn't like you asking questions and when you do she puts you on the spot in front of the whole class. Run far away

Gave very few assignments but with short notice of each and grades very harshly. It was an online class she didn't answer her emails right away and always posted new assignments on weekends like on a Saturday night.

If you are reading this because you are realizing the mistake of taking this professor, do yourself a favor and drop the class. I and other students have complained to the department. Prof was coming in an hour late to class, talking about her personal issues for another 45 minutes and then didn't have the class write a single paper until mid-term

The book she had the class read from is a book on how to write, yet until I complained to the school, she wasn't having us READ any actual literature. Was completely elementary work and expectations. She treats her students as if we are all on a first grade level. DO NOT TAKE HER. Apparently this semester student from all her classes complained.

Could never reach this professor, during office hours or not. Her assignments are out of a book, but didn't really read any articles or poems. I am seeing a lot of people complained this semester, wish I would have. AVOID HER.

One of the worst professors I've ever encounter. She's one of those people who hates life and displaces that anger by making students miserable. You can do everything possible, try hard and she will find some reason to dock your grade. She even takes pride on how she literally only gave out a handful of A's out of all the ENG24 classes she taught.

she is a very difficult professor to please. I would have appreciated her style of teaching ( because you will learn proper MLA format) if she made the criteria for her assignments clearer, but I never understood exactly what she was looking for. ALSO - took points off for wrong font size

Came from English 12, A+. This prof was such a tough grader and harsh critic, never gave any positive feedback. Did very little in the ways of teaching but expected you to know everything, condescending and sometimes insulting. Also, encouraged people to drop her class. So happy the semester is over and I dont have to deal with her again!

it was my first semester and no one told me about rate my professor, it was very mistake when I took this class. The best grade gonna be B+ don't take.

I've taken several online courses AND this was probably the most difficult one. It was not organized. She posts the syllabus online, but that's for her classes that meet on campus. It was super confusing. Though she probably means well, I don't think online courses are for her.

By far the worst Ive ever had. I love writing, but she robbed me of any joy I take in it. I hope shes proud of that. Horrific grader, unclear reqs. Had to go to the department twice because she didnt grade anything for two months, then kept changing test scores on blackboard and erased announcements after closing a folder early. Shady!

Worst English teacher ever. Not clear at all with what she wants out of her students. Her work is confusing and doesnt go with what she teaches. Uses same topic all year so if you dont get your screwed. Isnt clear on how she grades. Doesnt know how to teach at all. Boring class. Do all the work and you still might be fighting for a good grade.

WORST Prof Ive had. Rude & sarcastic. Just wants to be right - so much so that its embarrassing to watch. Grading is completely unclear. Not organized or prepared in class. Gave us BB quizzes in which the correct answers were not there to choose from! Said she would give us extra credit for making Xmas decorations for her church - but didnt.

Save yourself the trouble and dont take her class if you dont want to read her prompts eight times and still not understand what she expects out of you. Shes unclear and difficult to understand. Im not sure SHE even knows what she expects out of you. Stay away.

I advise those interested in having her as a teacher not to pick her class at all. During the pandemic the norm would be to be understanding of students having more responsibilities rushing for food taking care of family or even having the virus yeah she really didnt care about that at all. She only cared about her work getting done . Save yourse

This Prof. is inaccessible, doesn't reply to messages. I took her during the short Semester and as of the 6th wk. , none of my work had been graded and no feedbacks on my progress in her class. I took her because it was the only available class. Do not expect any student-teacher relationship!

She is one awfull professor. Took her in the fall it s about to be december and I dont have not one paper graded back .i dont know how i made the mistake of signing up for her class. I cannot believe kingsborough english department would keep teacher like her.

This professor is horrible at communication, never grades any of your work, and rarely ever gives lectures. She rarely communicates what she wants for her class. Often, I was very confused with her assignments.

The Professor is hard to contact. She acts arrogant and lazy when questioning the syllabus and any assignment gives up. She gives an exam at the end of the semester. Her expectations may seem genuine but the tone doesn't motivate students to work harder but leave them more confused when they start the class. Avoid this professor at once.

WHATEVER U DO DONT TAKE HER She just gives commands on what to read from the text book She did not grade a single paper until the last week of class so u dont know if your passing or not until the last week Her blackboard set up is horrible and I couldnt even submit my final assignment because she took the link off of black board

she is not considerate of the students. while in group work 2 out of 3 people were not here due to family business. The 3rd person got scolded when she wanted to share but couldn't due to her loss of voice. So the 3rd person left the class early. She got in trouble for no reason I wish I knew how bad she is but firsthand I regret taking her class.

What made this class difficult was the proffessor, believe the reviews. She was so rude and condecending. No empathy and overall made comments to students a proffessor shouldn't make. She makes sure to never be helpful. Terrible.

She is incredibly rude and condescending, genuinely the worst professor I've ever had. It was almost impossible to figure out what she wanted from us. Her assignments were all over the place. In the beginning, she gave ONE PAPER, then started piling assignments on us towards the end. I recommend choosing another professor if possible.

Very vague instructions and unclear expectations. Feedback is minimal and often discouraging. Grades are returned extremely late, sometimes after important deadlines, making it impossible to improve. Dismisses student questions and doesn't explain what she wants until after work is submitted. Don't take her if you care about your grades.
