Had Calc before - found this class to be rather difficult. If you've had Calc before it shouldn't be too hard because she'll review most basic Calc I concepts but her exams can be difficult if you don't prepare well. Homework and attendence isn't necessary but highly recommended since it nets you extra points. Not a bad class, just not great.

She covers the material very broadly leaving you or your TA to fill in. However if you have a TA who doesn't even speak in class like I did, you basically have to teach yourself or spend unnecessary time in the math lab. Curve is unfair. I did better than the class average on exams and I will still get a D in the class.

She is a nice professor, however, she doesn't do a great job of explaining. She mostly just expects you to know or remember material from past years and will just do an example on the board without going through it step by step. Be ready to wait for her, she frequently messes up her own examples. Class is difficult w/o prior Calc exp.!!

Nice professor, but she kind of teaches like she's teaching 6th graders at times, and at other times she teaches like she expects everyone to already know the material she's teaching. Her exams are way harder than anything else you do in the class, and they're graded way harder than they need to be. You'll get sick of hearing about apples, too.

Great professor and explains the concepts of calculus very well. Frequently makes mistakes during lectures though. Her midterms aren't bad, most the time they're questions directly from the book. And her final has a lot of similar questions to previous midterms. As long as you do the assigned problems and pay attention, it should be pretty easy.
