Very enthusiastic and friendly.(will tell you if you need to take a remedial course, though). Gives theoretical background. I recommend taking her if you are a math major, or scared of math but willing to work hard. Don't take her for an easy A.

Great instructor, great personality too. She jokes around and can be serious when the situation calls for it but overall she is very friendly and helpful and sincerely wants to see her students learn the material. Down to earth.

easy if you can self teach. just do the work suggested, and you can at least get a c. doesnt really answer questions. 5 tests. recommended for online course. just don't try to master the chapter the night before. (it takes approx. 10 hours or so straight)

she is a wonderfully lightheaded and easily distracted, yet she is so simple in here teaching methods, you feel like, "If she can get it, I know I can." grades fairly and is willing to tutor if you ask. I wish I would had her agin but I got Robinson, who is now retired. He was great.

Math isn't my subject but Professor Grone is nice...just had 5 test...I was able to pass so I give Grone an A+ :)

This Professor is extremely helpfulShe goes the extra mile. She is friendly. If anyone can be excited about a subject she is. This makes the class go by with pleasure

Great teacher. Really takes the time to make sure you understand the material. Will schedule extra time with you and just really goes out of her way. It is obvious that she really enjoys teaching. Very dedicated and sincere.

This was an incredibly easy class. Make sure you attend class and keep up with the lessons and homework, and you'll do fine. She is definitely the "absent-minded professor" type, and can come across as an idiot at first, but when you get to know her, you realize she's a really nice and caring woman. She wants you to do well, so if you have any questions or problems, just ask. I liked this class and definitely recommend the teacther.

VERY NICE! and very helpful, we have even had a few distance learning students in our class when they didnt understand. she can be a little annoying at times (like when she laughs at herself for no reason) but she is a very pleasant woman to learn from. i definately recommend her to everyone, especially students not usually interested in math

i am taking this professsor now and i think she is the most helpful and caring teacher who would give u 100 examples justto make sure u are clear with the concept.She tries her best to make class interesting and ofcourse we all know calculus is not easy to learn but this teacher is ready to help u in any way she could,i love her .

She is such a nice lady. Always willing to help a student. Clearly loves her job. She handed out the practice test for reveiw witht eh answers on it and by mistake gave us the same test for the test itself so make sure u look over the practice tests. It only happened once so far, but u can benefit from it studying the answers.

she is the best teacher and always cares about how her students are doing. she gives you everything you need to study and she goes over it all. if you take her early she is always late so you dont hafta worry if your 10 min late either and she is also very funny when she laughs at everything she says it is an amuzing class and an easy A

I took her online. She is very helpful and will answer any of your questions. Overall I think she was good. I don't really like Math classes so it was good for me.

She was an awesome teacher. I took her class after being out of high school for 10 years. I got an A+ in her class. She has a amazing way of teaching, very easy to understand. I would take her class again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her as a professor.

her way of teaching is not for everyone. she's a bit boring but if you pay attention and really work to get an A you'll get it. she's also kinda awkward but if you can get past that, she's an okay teacher. very intellegent with math so she knows her stuff. take her if youre not picky with professors.

I can't believe the low ratings comming from some people. Seems to me they don't know what a bad teacher is. Fact is, to pass a course, you got to put time and effort. Ms Grone is an excellent professor! She does what a teacher is supposed to do. If you put time and effort and do your part, you will be suprised at how much you can accomplish!

funniest lady ever. her laugh is contagious and she makes jokes all the time. im terrible at math and i get 90's on the tests. she gives a lot of hw but never collects it and i can honestly say i havent done one problem. she gives you review sheets so you know exactly whats on the test. Pay attention every once & a while & you'll pass

Easiest 10 days of my life. I cannot imagine how this class could possibly take an entire semester. Subjects such as Roman Numerals, Multiplication, logic. It was really easy, and an easy A. She thinks she is hilarious, she cracks jokes about people who she probably shouldnt(cops in the class).

By far the best professor I've had here. I am horrible in math and ended up with an A. She is very clear and goes nice and slow for those of us who need it. I am going to take her for my next 2 math course as well. I Recommend her highly!

I took this class online and she was amazing. Took me a couple exams to realize that her practice exam is EXACTLY the same as her chapter exam, so I just studied her practice exam and aced every one! If you have to take math online, take her! She's great...

Amazing! Very fun and upbeat. Jokes a lot which keeps it interesting. I took the winter session so i had her for 4 hours every night. Thats such a long time to be in class but sometimes shes just so crazy you dont even look at the clock at all! Highly recommended. As far as comparing her with Gordon....I highly recommend both of them.

Great professor. She will explain and explain again until the whole class understands. Math is a horrible subject for anyone to take, but if you have to go with her.

Great professor. I took her for the winter intersession and had her four hours a day, every day. I haven't even LOOKED at math in years, but she teaches in a way ANYONE can understand. Highly recommended if you have a hard time with math.

George. one of the best math profs. i had. i don't like her grading system, for that she grades you from 5 or 6 tests. she's funny, and its impossible to fall asleep in her class. she doesn't like calculators, so hope your good at math. basically your granateed an education if you take her. =)

Professor Grone was really simple and clear. She skipped any hard math concepts and responded promptly to all emails from her DL class. I highly recommend her, would take her again. Her tests were fair and short.

Easy class! She really knows what she is teaching, since she actually wrote the book being used. If you do the homework then you can have a 100 test grade. She spends a good amount of time teaching the material and enjoys questions. She's not as hard as she comes off to be in the beginning of the semester. I will be taking her again next semester.

Best teacher ever. People just complain on her because they are too lazy to do what they need to do. She gives these quiz's in class from the homework she assigns, asks maybe 2 math problems a day, you hand them in, and she adds them all up at the end of semester, and gives you 100% towards your grade at the end.She also drops your worst test grade

I spent 4 years in pre-algebra and tested into lowest math. I had high anxiety and fear of failing - she put all that to rest. Aced the class, understood the material, no more anxiety!!! Excellent teacher who presents material in easy to understand way at slow enough pace to really get it. Five stars all the way! No one laughs at my math anymore!!

I loved her. She gets side tracked sometimes and talks about her family a lot, but shes cute and very helpful. She definitely knows her math. Didn't use textbook at all (she says to use it at home for help) but she uses Math XL which is helpful to learn and tests are easy. Easy A if you pay attention and do the hw on Math XL.

I struggled greatly in Math. I was not doing good in her class. I went for extra help with her every Friday after class and what an improvement. My grades went from 76 and a 75 to 98,100, and a 99. Great teacher and she does care if you fail or pass.

Since I started going back to school, I have taken Professor Grone. She came highly recommended to me. She is a wonderful teacher. Just show up, and if you need help just ask her.I failed 012 the first time I took it, then one I repeated it my final grade was a 104.

She hardly uses the book, all the homework is done and submitted online, and she gives excellent reviews the day of the test so there is no doubt about what to expect. I went to the tutoring center because she was too busy to help me, I ended up failing and when I asked her how I was doing she stated "how do you think you did? you failed"…not nice. Taking someone else. I heard no one passes first time with her anyway.

Professor Grone is very smart! I am bad at math and she made it clear and I was able to understand. She will give you a worksheet and you will do many problems from the worksheet. She explains clearly. For homework we used MathXL which consisted of 10 questions that corresponded to the lesson/section we were learning. They were easy and if you get 100's on all the Homeworks it will count as a test grade which is great! Overall great professor and would recommend!

I despise math but found her class to be bearable. She is funny and likeable. Grading criteria is fair, but don't be and idiot like me and miss a day, because she usually doesn't allow for makeups. Teaching is solid and well done, excluding the last chapter which she rushed through way to quickly. Assigns online math homework which helped me study.

Professor Grone is an amazing teacher. I took her for Math 266. She gives reviews for the four exams in the class that helps students prepare for them. In class, she goes over the reviews and also answers questions students may have on the days before the exams. Homework optional, but doing it is helpful when preparing for the exams.

4 exams for Calculus II and reviews beforehand. Allows you to use two 3×5 index cards on the exams. Answers questions students may have, accessible in her office. Caring professor who has a good sense of humor. Homework helps you study for the exams, but the reviews she posts and your notes are the most important in doing well. Explains math well.
