I had her many years ago she is still a good professor can be hard and demanding at times. If you put some effort and tlak to her personally she will push up your grade by one letter

I had no idea what went on during the class. The papers she makes you write seem to have no purpose. She places huge emphasis on class participation so beware.

I really enjoyed her class. She is fair and people that complain usually aren't doing the work.

Good professor. She cares about her students, she gives exams that make sense (short essays). She teaches using the news to prove the textbook's point. Could be repetitive at times but it is done on purpose to imprint some "keywords". She grades on attendance, participation, preparedness, papers and exams. Oh she also do group works.

Make sure u have the notes to the classes that you miss. Pay attention to repetitious "P" words that she uses. READ the assignements she assigns. Then you will pass. Test is based on things that you do in class. Fun, Interesting class but you must be foucsed.

I took Professor Zaragoza in 1991 at BMCC for two classes, Business 200 and Essentials For Small Business. She was by far the best teacher I have ever had. I started two businesses and have been self-employed since her class. Yes you have to read books, do your research and study, study, and study. This is the foundation of success, she is great!!!

I took her class in fall 2010, and I was only international student in her class. If you are non-native speaker, her class would be hard. However, you can learn not only BUS but also English writing. I've got B. If you need higher grade,I don't recommend her but if you want to something learn, take her class.

She is very hard professor.She loves to share story thats not releated with the real life.Hard to pass her class.She takes off points for silly mistakes.The hard part is the math test that she gave at the end of the semester. No one can pass that math test as she said she is traning students for higher level.

If your reading comprehension is high then this class will suit you. There is a lot of writing but its spaced out to 2 pages a week. You must read the text book!! there were only three test. I learned a lot and I think she is a fair teacher when it comes to grading. I would take the class agian.

SHE IS A TOUGH COOKIE! BUT I loved her. Alot of people complained about her but alot of those people were underachievers who shouldnt be in college and taken an extra year in highschool . i always let inspired and ready to do something. this class literally changed my life! it helped me improve as a person

Don't take her if you are not ready. However, I will advise all of our elite BMCC students, if you believe you are or you want to be one, to take her class. She will teach you many things. She have patient to talk with non-native speakers. The book she edited is very useful and give you all the important information.

Her class is tough, and it requires work. You'll do wll if you can really follow her instruction and are serious about learning, but if not, don't take this class. Exams are based on WSJ, textbook, and topics from classroom. If you miss a class, you may not do well on exams. Tough class, but she's knowledgeable and interesting.

Professor Zaragoza is clearly a passionate and caring individual and I feel fortunate to be one of her students. The knowledge that She is sharing will make a positive mark on my life and stay with me forever.

I f you want an A given to you don't go to this class, in fact don't go to college...you're not ready BUT if you want to be taught by an interesting and knowledgeable professor who forces you to interact and learn I highly recommend Professor Zaragoza. Follow her lead and do the work and you will have earned an easy A-and you will have life lessons

Great teacher, everyone with negative complaints did not do what they needed to. WSJ mandatory reading, and studying is obviously required to get a good grade. I received an A.

This class is not an easy A but if you are looking to learn valuable lessons and walk away with a true education a highly recommend Professor Zaragoza

Prof. Zaragoza is extremely knowledgeable and smart. She motivated me in so many ways: to do more in life, be successful and uplift from the average. She teaches beyond the textbook. She shares so many personal experiences with her students just to help them understand the world out there and give them ideas how do better. strongly recommend !!!

I was a bit confused to what i should study for the exam since the reading assignment were long but overall she is a very nice professor who is very willing to help if you have difficulties. She wants you to use critical thinking and with her lessons I was able to use those lessons at work. Outline the text, complete assignments and you will do ok.

Prof. Zaragoza is one of the best professors I've had! Personally, she is very nice. Professionally, her lectures are interesting and thorough. She creates a classroom discussion, so don't expect her to simply read from a textbook. Everyone is treated very respectfully, and as long as you put effort into your work you should have a great semester.

If you're lazy & bad at time management, this class isn't for you. She gives a lot of papers & participation matters. I have learned so much from her and I look forward to learning more. She is a remarkable Professor and I am very grateful to have her as a Professor

GREAT PROFESSOR. Is there for you, preparing you for the real life choices that you will have to face. Yes, you have to work for it, an "A" will not come without it, but it is definetly obtainable with it. TAKE THIS CLASS IT WILL ONLY BENEFIT YOU.

Professor Zaragoza is great!. I truly don't understand how other students have had such a difficult time with her. She teaches from the heart, very passionate in making sure her students are prepared for the real world. I wish I was a business major, ill have her for all my classes.

Ok I had to write a review after reading these comments. This professor is not going to spoon feed you test answers. Sitting in circles is what elite institutions do with their students. The class involves thinking, genuine THINKING. This is a real professor, she loves teaching. She talks about life because she's teaching you how to finance life.

The people here that are complaining are lazy unmotivated individuals who came into this class expecting an easy A, BUMS! She isnt asking for anything out of this world, if you simply read the chapters and just study the vocabulary youll pass. Stop being lazy and DO WORK its not even that hard... I truly hate lazy people. very motivating class!

i gave this class just a little extra effort compared to most of my classes and got an A. Before you can manage a business you need to learn to manage yourself, she will force you to look at your habits and how it affects every aspect of your life. most elite schools have the same format of teaching everyone complaining are probably lazy slackers.

Shes the best, she will motivate you to change your life financially. You cant be lazy, if you don't understand something ASK QUESTIONS she will definitely break it down.

Professor Zaragoza really make sure you understand the material that is given. Just read the chapters assigned and study really hard for the exams. Don't sleep on the financial portfolio!

Many use this tool to speak their frustration for not working hard enough. Prof. Zaragoza is great, she teaches you for life. Tests are har yeah, you've got to read yeah but at least you'll walk out of that class knowing plenty of things you didn't know at the beginning of the semester. ;)

TRUST ME - Professor Zaragoza is one of the remaining educators who will affect your life , in a very positive manner. I can list a million examples , but it is actually better if you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity , sign up for her class .

Took Professor Zaragoza's class years ago. One of the best professors ever! The material she teaches isn't hard. Many are just complaining & don't want to put in the work/or don't want it badly enough, then you won't deserve more$$. Also grateful for her because she helped refer me to co. in NYMEX that allowed me to make 6 figures by 21
