This class is for people who are self learners. They key to completing this is reading every single page of the text!!
DO NOT TAKE HER. HER ONLINE CLASS IS A WASTE OF TIME. HER TEST ARE 30Q AND SHE ONLY GIVES YOU 20 MIN TO COMPLEATE IT. AND ITS OVER 8 CHAPTERS! EVERYONE EITHER HAD A C OR A D. A COMPUTER CLASS SHOULD NOT BE THIS HARD!!!!! i REPEAT, DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!!
Worst teacher I have ever had. There's not enough room here to describe all of the stupid things she requires you to do, or does herself. My 'review' of her class will be several pages long. She can barely pronounce English.
I took this class online. Class can be hard, but if you do the sample tests that she post and do the reading this class is doable. I made an "A".
She is an excellent teacher, but you must work hard (and I mean hard) to earn your grade. She is fair but does not dish our grades.
She's got her act together and seems to live by her machine. Very fast at answering questions, but her exams are hard and she gives too many homework.
This class was absolutley useless. The text was boring, uninisightful, and is 80% filler.

She is the most cruel teacher I have taken so far. She never takes the time to explain what she really wants in her homework/proejects. She is very harsh when it comes to grading. Little mistakes can cause a 10-20 point loss.
ONLINE CLASS IS A JOKE. DON'T TAKE HER ONLINE. TRY FACE TO FACE. IF YOU DON'T STUDY TEST GUIDE IN THE CLASS YOU WILL NOT DO TOO WELL IN THE CLASS.REMEMBER TO BUY YOU STUDY GUIDE ALL QUESTION COME FROM THE MULTIPLE CHOICE ONLY. THE TEXT BOOK DOES NOT HELP
On-line class is guess work. She never tells you what is on any test and you end up studying everything in the chapters and the on-line quizes. I was lucky to get a C in that class and I am glad I am out of it. I would try another teacher.
I took this class online. She required that the class go Downtown, in the middle of the day, to take the test with a proctor. After we whined enough, she scheduled the test later in the day. I would recommed maybe taking the class face to face.
I am taking this class now online (Fall 04). This class does not require a lot from you, and the test are straight from a test bank. There is no way to know what will be on the test, which covers 4 chapters at a time, so you wind up study the whole book in vain. I would not take her again.
TRICKY TEACHER. I READ ALL MY MATERIAL AND I THOUGHT THE TESTS WERE VERY HARD PLUS EVERY TEST WAS A COMPLETE DIFFERENT STYLE. ON FINAL EXAM SAID IT WOULD ONLY BE OVER LAST TWO CHAPTERS BUT IT INCLUDED MORE. WHEN I CONSULTED WITH HER ON WAYS TO IMPROVE MY GRADE HER ONLY REPLY WAS TO STUDY MORE.
she is a computer with a pulse. mean cold hearted. doesn't answer questions, doesn't care about students. do not take her. she shouldn't be teaching. sooo boring. she only reads from visual aid.
This professor is very uncompromising, rude and probably the worst teacher I have had ever. Little to know instructions are given and very bad about communication. I took her online class and she is very bad about responding to emails. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE.
Not bad,but could be better.Took online class which had no homework, only chapter tests. Some were clear, some weren't.The final project was very helpful and resourceful.Again, not bad,but could be better.Online was easier,I think.
Extremely condescending teacher. Some of her homework is very unclear. We were supposed to download Linux, install in on our own computer and run simple tests. Not that hard except for the fact she never told us we were to download Linux until after we sent in the homework. She needs help. Avoid her
She is not good. I took her online and the tests were so freaking hard. I read all my stuff but still it was hard. I made a C and passed it. I wouldn't take her again in my life.
avoid taking this class with this teacher. she is rude, condesending, horrible.
took class online. tests were online. do online chapter review tests and will do fine on actual test. group work was time consuming and pointless.
Taking this class online in the summer-NOT RECOMMENDED! The instructor is involved in the online portion, but the tests are unbelievable! You read, study and do practice tests and you're still not prepared enough! I like the teacher, but avoid the class. Was going to take databases class online, but not now.
Not the best, but not the worst either. I had her online for senior development project and I didn't think that she was really that bad. Gives you a chance to redo some of your work to regain lost points.
She is the best. You just have to study and work for your grade.
She is the best instructor I have ever had. She knows her stuff, but she expects you to study. She is very organized and has done a good job planning the semester so that we study only a few chapters for our tests. I am taking two classes with her this semester and plan to take my senior projects with her next semester.
I took this class online over the summer. The tests are extremely hard if you do not do the online reviews both from the teacher and what the book provides. The team work I found to be hard but that was more due to my partners than from the teacher. Teacher knows the material very well and is extremely helpful.
This class is challenging (a good way) to me. The professor does not make the class challenging. She is very knowledgeable about the course. She is laid back but concerned with you doing your work. I WOULD SUGGEST THIS COURSE TO ANYONE!!!!
She is getting better at teaching online. Previous course syllabus was unclear and her teaching style falls under the category of "trickery".CIS 3302 was structured and the syllabus was up front. She gives first online quiz available online from anywhere. The remaining two are procotored as well as the final. Grade = Project 15%,tests-60%,final-25%
She is the greatest. She knows her stuff and explains the material again and again (some times too many times), but she makes sure that everyone understands. I give her A+++
SHE IS EXCELLENT, BEST AT UHD. EXPLAINS EVERYTHING IN DETAIL AND IS VERY CLEAR ABOUT WHAT SHE EXCPECTS. I LEARNED SO MUCH THOUGH AT TIMES IT WAS CHALENGING. I RECOMMEND HER.
Knows her stuff and she is very helpful. Would take her again.
She can't teach for S*it. She is the worst teacher at UHD. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE HER.
Worst teacher in Houston. Her grading system is really unfair. She gave everybody different questions on the exam. Which is unfair because on some questions you can write more and some u can not write anything other than defination. Some questions are easy and some are hard. But she could not understand that because she does not have common sence.
I took her online. There are 4 tests (the final is NOT cumulative) and 2 case studies, which she grades VERY easy. You have to take all but the first test at either Cinco Ranch, UC, or Downtown. Tests are on WebCT in the computer lab and most of the questions, which are multiple choice come from the practive quizzes. She also gives extra credit.
This class is not as bad as some make it out to be. If you take the sample quizzes, they are very representative of the exam questions. Professor is not bad, is helpful and responsive, but it is essentially another read-and learn online class. Department policy on exams sucks - requiring exams at UHD kills part of the benefit of online classes. I made an A.
This professor is a joke. She is terrible about responding to e-mails. The class is easy, but the prof needs to learn a few things about WebCT (especially how to use the 'Assignments' feature). The class requires you to write two papers, but you don't get the grade from the first one until the day that the second one is due.
The class is easy but she does not no how to teach. Project is realy hard 5-10 pages single space on the topics which doest not have much information available. Avoid her if you can.
The most organized prof I've had, you know the requirements from the first day of class. She is not easy, but she is the best. She is very good in returning emails. I always had a reply within less than a day. Some other profs don't returnat all.
The best ever, very helpful and flexible.
Dr. Hashemi is knowledgeable, smart, and fair. She is the best professor I’ve had at UHD.
Hashemi is a great instructor. She is very knowledgeble. Of course being in her class, she will require alot of work considering it is a Senior CIS Project class. She will work with you. She is not supposed to be easy because being an easy teacher does not prepare you for the real world especially if you're career field will be in the IT world.
Online in Fall '06. Three exams, two homework assignments. Very straightforward. Only drawback is having to go to campus for some exams. WebCT info is great, she clearly outlines everything up front. Very responsive to emails and BB posts. Highly recommend this online class. I made an A.
Prof. Hashemi will help and guide you through the Project Life Cycle. You definitely have to do the work, but this is the CIS capstone and you should be proud of your work. Highly recommend her for CIS 4312.
Dr. Hashemi is the best in the west!!!!
The material for the class is quite much if you try reading it all. It is difficult to understand. The instructor helps out a lot with the work if you have problems. The major drawback is having to take the tests on campus in the middle of a business day for the online students who work an 8-5 schedule. Be prepared to do a project in Linux.
She can be the nicest person in the world, but the way the exams are given is my biggest complaint. The essay questions are going to either make you or break you in this class and I wish it was not like that. If I had to take this class again, I would definitely choose somebody else.
Dr. Hashimi is the greatest and the best professor I have ever had. She is very knowledgeable and fair, but gave too many assignments. She lives by her computer and answers emails almost immediately. I highly recommend her to those who want to learn.
She is truly one of the very best teachers I have ever had. Very fair and so very helpful. She knows her stuff, but you have to work to for grade. I probably make a C, but I am OK with it.
I took her online, and I gotta say that it was a pleasure having her as my professor. Very understanding, good communicator, easy HW assignments, tests are a bit hard but the final was open book...can't beat that! Must take her, especially online!
Very nice Professor. Exams straight from the book and Reports were straight forward. Use the practice exams, power point notes and the book, and you will do fine.
Very easy professor. I took her class online and just do the practice test multiple times and look over power points. Responds quickly to emails. Keep up with the work and you will be fine. Pretty basic class over basic materials. All test come almost from practice test, so do them and you will be fine. Group work for two things
Awesome professor, took her last semester and again this semester because she's helpful, lenient, and understanding. In addition, her exams come from the book and practice quizzes which she provides in the beginning of each section. Provides great team assignments and some bonus points. Also has a good sense of humor!
The very best at UHD.
Dr. Hashemi is very fair and understanding, yet demands that you study and pushes you to make a better grade. Just loved her.
Very well organized. I am think in majoring in CIS just because of her.
Great Professor! I was really scared to take this class because I am not good with computers but she was great. Her test come straight from the book and her assignments are easy to understand. She responds to e-mails quickly. Fully reccomend her.
Professor Hashemi is a great teacher. Knows her stuff and is open to any questions. I actually loved to go to her class. Easy A if you enjoy working with computer. She does give a lot of work, but it's super EASY!!!
Really loved her! Quiet a few assignments but its all easy work! Easy A if you do what you're supposed to.
Very easy class as long as you do your assignments on time
Great teacher, she knows her the material. Also she is very helpful, clear and informative.
She throws a lot of responsibility for learning on the student -- I did learn a lot, but I also put a lot of hours into it.
By far the greatest at UHD. She knows her materials and expects students to do their work, and lots of it. I ha such a great time learning about computers. I just may major in CIS because of her teaching and influence.
She tries to be clear but, due to her accent sometimes it's hard to undestand her. One of the things I did enjoy about her class was that she would let you work on your own.Tests and quizzes are straight out of the book. She is very generous when it comes to extra credit. Pretty good professor.
I loved her class i highly recommend her!! It was a lot of work but it wasn't to hard. Final is worth 10% and gives a lot of extra credit assignments. Not an easy A only because you have to put effort but it's not hard work! Take her she is very caring.
I took this class online and although the tests were open-book,her assignments were confusing.Be sure you know how to use linux because you're literally left on your own to do them.Other than that, her class is easy, but take my advice and read up on linux because you will be seeing it in this class. She's not very good at returning calls or emails.
Unless you already know this material well DO NOT TAKE HER! At least not online for 3303. You need to be able to teach yourself Linux without any help and the test are mostly comprised of short essay questions. I know computers well and she killed me on the short answer questions. Do Not Take This Class Online With Her!
Online class. Class started off bad when the instructor didn't "show up" for about two weeks. In the end it was okay, but nothing spectacular. You have to teach yourself mostly everything because all the prof does is assign and check assignments. Doesn't lecture on anything. VERY boring way to teach anything.
responded to questions within a day or two. all tests/quizzes come from myMISlab that is part of book. 2 group projects and 2 individual assignment projects. not a bad teacher just a boring class if cis is not your major
Took Online class CIS 3301. The test material is straight from the book/mislab. You pretty much "learn" everything on your own except for the group assignments. Pay attention to how each assignment is weighted on the syllabus. It's not the usual. Lastly, tests are only open during 1 day, not over multiple days. I'd take this prof. again.
I took this class online during the winter semester. It is self taught. If you email her she responds with, did you follow the directions? Even if you ask her a question clearly or are having an issue, it is always the same. I had to figure out everything on my own. The online software is too picky so you better be an expert or it is WRONG!
There is no teaching from this professor. She just tells you to go to the MyITLab website and do the assignments. The students are left to basically teach themselves from the GoOffice2007 book. This class is a waste of money, you will be better off taking this class at a community college.
If you are looking for an easy A without working for it, this teacher is not for you. Great teacher, she knows her material. Also she is very helpful, nice and informative.
She is by far the worst teacher you will ever have. Every bit of work is done outside of class, and on MYITLAB.COM. I don't have one person in my class that has an A or for that matter anything higher than a LOW B. DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE AT UHD
if you do the work it's an easy A all the test and quizzes are online and you can use your book. In the classroom not much teaching and a little hard to understand with her accent. easy A for those students who don't need to coddled along
Rude teacher!!!! Hated her online class with a passion. I would not recommend her to any one !
Avoid this professor by all means possible. She doesn't know the assignments she's going to give until they come out of her mouth during the lecture, and she never explains the details. Also, she loves to stop class to call people out for coming in late or leaving early.
This professor is by far the most difficult professor i have ever had!!!
I took this class because it was the only elective available. I regret it! She posted the links to the manufacturer site for HW and exams. Assigned Visual Basic HW (team) with no directions. YouTube what you don't understand. She will not offer any assistance. Any attempts contacting her (email) were met negatively.
Class was fairly easy, just make sure you make time to do assignments. Gives you plenty of time to complete assignments, so don't wait until the day they are due, can submit an assignment up to 5 times. There were 5 group assignments regarding Visual Basic. Not difficult, but reading is required.
Mostly unlcear grading criteria, random extra assignments added last minute not on the syllabus or assignment calendar. Also, can you really expect students in an online class (who took an online class for a reason...) to be able to show up for a group project presentation in person at the University? I wouldn't think so.
DO NOT TAKE HER! She is very condescending and hypocritical. She told the class and I, if we would have missed a test or quiz we would be able to make it up if we did the practice test and quizzes. Later on in the year she changed her mind. But, she allowed to reopen the myitlab's and homework assignment. Take course but with another professor
Was supposed to be an easy class (required by UHD) to help with online learning. It was so complicated because the teacher was very ambiguous in what was expected. When final grades came in, she had not even graded %30 of my work required for my grade! It was a disaster! Don't take her!
Taking her now for Fall 2016. Easy class - use MyITLab. Opens all assignments and tests on the first day. Allows multiple attempts on hw, 2 tests and FINAL. Final was over powerpoint! EASY A. We also have 4 assignments over visual basic.
This professor was great! This is a senior level class so, of course there is going to be a lot of work. Our system is basically the semester long project in groups of 3-4(she assigns groups). She is great at answering questions and responds quickly. Make sure you get started early on the project, it is a lot of work! Make sure you follow the SDLC!
Professor Hashemi will work with the students to ensure a good grade. Lots of assignments, but they are easy if you follow her instructions which are very clear. Replies to emails quickly and gives helpful feedback.
Summer course: 2 test, 4 Microsoft projects (Excel, Visio, & Project), and final. Probably the easiest upper level MIS course at UHD. Test are open book open notes, including the final. I wish I would've taken the class more seriously as this relates to my career path.
5 week summer course. 4 assignments with tests every week. Easy class with open book/notes tests and exam is not comprehensive with open book/notes. Would recommend taking in the Summer. Realistic criteria with manageable work.
It is a easy A but its a lot of online lab work just work ahead, for the final you have to go to campus and take the test which was open book I learned a lot of new stuff using word, powerpoint and excel. I did not like having to work in a group for final project, volunteer to be the team captain to make sure it gets done right.
Took her for winter mini. She is quite responsive and friendly in her repsonses. Easy grader and gives 100's away freely on projects and assignments. Course consists of: 2 exams (proctored & no resources), 1 final, 1 easy team project, written letter, a handful of easy discussions, 4 ITLAB assignments, and a few easy dozen MISlab assignments.
ALL tests, quizzes and even PRACTICE quizzes are on lockdown browser with camera, and thats ridiculous. Forget everything you've read here, this professor isnt easy and she and the instructor Yiy-Yaw make you work for your grade, you miss work, you get a zero, I am glad I'm done with it, they expect people to major in MIS which is downgrading...
Quizzes and test are all lockdown browser, very hard class do not take.
Im not sure where the first good reviews come from. This class was extremely hard. Also professor isn't active at all. My grade was at a D then the last day it was switched to failing. All the quizzes and test were lockdown browsers. (Its not that serious!!!) test i get but practice quizzes. Just look somewhere else.
This has been the hardest online course I have EVER taken! Do not take this professor. Find someone else! Worse professor and class in all my three years of college.
This is the 2nd time I've taken this class. 1st time I took it online (BIGGEST MISTAKE), 2nd time did in person which was pretty worthless since EVERYTHING is online. The professor literally reads the online instructions to you.. Pointless. I learned NOTHING. Not to mention the tests don't match the book or previous assignments. HARDEST class ever!
First time taking her class, overall it was well structure. Hw and assignments were fair, I just wish she could gives credit on "self quizzes" and not use Lockdown browser for everything. I plan to take other class with this professor
The professor obviously takes this class too seriously. The book and the lab have nothing to do with each other the lab is all Microsoft and the book is workplace etiquette. All of the test are using lockdown browser with a camera which is plain ridiculous. The final has to be taken at a proctored site, (stupid) why not lockdown browser again?
This class is a joke there are tests that are timed they let you use notes but its only a limited time on test that is about a min a question. The homework is everyday stuff to do. There are 2 papers. Discussions and Excel work. Final is comprehensive and NO NOTES. I would not take this professor its a lead instructor model. took online.
Save yourself the headache. She turns an easy A class into a giant pain, for no reason. Super lengthy, repetitive, and convoluted instructions that still leave you with so many questions. Slow grader. Lots of busy work. Test questions come from textbook question bank, making it difficult to know where to concentrate your efforts. Not worth it
I took this class online and it was ridiculously hard. For all quizzes and tests you have to use lockdown browser. Professor lets you use notes, however it is useless since the quizzes and tests are nothing like the homework/lectures. It's never clear what you are being tested on. Professor is also a tough grader (even with discussion boards!!!).
She turns an easy class into hard work. I had to take this course twice. I failed it the first time because of my group project. Apparently we should have met more often, we had to submit pictures together. That is impossible with full time jobs and families and school. She also give really tedious papers, tests and labs. Nothing like the book.
This class is definitely more challenging than it has to be. I would not take the class again just due to the density of the work. The tests and quizzes are very challenging so if you have a better option for the same course, I would go that route. Not quite a 1/5 in my opinion but not much better either.
Took her for Spring 2020 online. Sometimes her emails can be kind of rude but she answers your questions fully. There are 10 question chapter DSM's due every Sunday, discussion boards due some Mondays. Her quizzes and exams (even final) are lock down browser but you are able to use your notes. Class is full of terms that are hard to memorize.
Not sure why this prof has so many bad remarks, I feel the professor was straight forward and to the point on what they expected to be completed. I am in a mini may semester (May 11- May 30th) and only have the final left with an A average. Something is due everyday with webcam testing/quizzes, but what do you expect from a mini?
I had no expectations after reading reviews. Nevertheless, it was not half as bad. The professor is very responsive and she sends out constant reminders via email She let me take the final earlier. All questions on quizzes are the same on the exam and final. A lot to memorize but very doable. Pearson allows you multiple attempts on HW. Easy A!
Take her for a mini!! Straight to the point, you can turn things in early if needed. You can use your notes on all quizzes and exams, it is on LockDown though. She responds to emails almost immediately.
The quizzes and tests are nothing alike. Open book lock down browser with limited time, the questions don't come out of the book or lab, after investigating they come from 2 other course sources. This should've been an easy A but instead made very difficult with no study guides or makeups. You only get 1 chance for each, this course was pointless.
DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE WITH THIS PROFESSOR the quizzes and tests are nothing like the course material. You will have very little time to take them and its open book but what's the point if it's not by the book itself. And she doesn't let you retake anything.
Amazing professor. Take her!!
clear guidelines. Great professor. Would definitely take her again
Pathetic professor, if I could give her a 0 I would. Horrible communication, if she does respond it will be at 2am. Have an issue and its regarding a due date fast approaching? GL. Did zero teaching herself, was all the grader program that only looks for what it wants to see. For the VB portion, she referred us to 3 youtube videos. Complete joke.
Took this class summer 2. There were 5 quizzes (lockdown with webcam) but they were open book/open note. 3 regular exams(lockdown with webcam but also open book/note), and 1 final exam. The exams were all T/F multiple choice. Also 3 individual assinments (Visio). lots to do but, the work wasn't hard.
Pretty good prof overall. Lots of work but thats to be expected at this point in ones major. Take this professor, class isnt hard, theres just a lot of work.
She gave us all the assignments and tests (including the final) on the first day to complete at our own pace. She doesn't believe in memorizing so she makes you use sources like stackoverflow. Teaching style is very Hands on. People not used to this style might be very frustrated. She uses MyITLab to grade the assignments though. They can be picky.
Best prof.
Took as a mini. Does not allow open book/note for anything. Repeat: does not allow open book anything. To survive/ make an A in this class you need to take each self chapter quiz 10-20 (under lock down browser), listen to provided lectures (they provide extra insight/comments that I found to be on exams) and know every acronym and definition.
You have to teach yourself in this course. Not a hard course though. It consists of microsoft office homework, and exams over mis topics covered in the cengage mindtap program. Her lectures are mandatory, but a complete waste of time. She requires you to turn your camera just for her to cover basic things she could have sent in an email.
Done this class Fall 2022 16wk,2 discussion,4 SAM assign,1paper. 2 test,2 quiz & final exam all lockdown w/cam not notes. Don't buy book when finish during trial. Self taught mode. Quiz/tests questions come from practice test and quizlet, so memorize. Taking her for mini since material easy and she offers bonus points, I didn't stressed this class
Great professor. Took as a mini-mester, and she opened the class at the beginning. Clear expectations and grading. Lockdown browser for quizzes and exams. I recommend doing the chapter self-quizzes, because it really helps on the tests. 4 discussions that are interesting, and one case study. I wish she taught more classes.
You have to learn on your own here. I hate anything that has to do with Microsoft especially Excel!! Eventually you will get through this class and I honestly recommend the mini semester just to get out of the way.
Mini 3-week. 14 textbook chapters, 3 quizzes, 2 exams, a final, 7 assignments. Excel/Access assignments (4), DB (2), Paper (1). The course is very condensed and the exams/quizzes are heavily textbook-based but the self-tests provided help A LOT. The assignments aren't too difficult and grading/late work (none) is clear. Time crunch for FT workers
I really like Prof. Hashemi, took her before. She's very reasonable, fair grader, materials are relevant, optional zoom at the beg. of term to set expectations/ask questions. July course, two attempts at quizzes and tests, lockdown browser but open book/notes (but not electronic). I would definitely take her again if she's teaching a course I need.
Easy A. Very straight forward. Tests and quizzes are lock down browser with camera. The Test questions come from the quizzes.
EVERYTHING IS ON LOCKDOWN BROWSER. Even the practice exams that don't count for a grade! Be prepared to memorize the book because nothing from the previous exams were on the final!!!! Thankfully her discussions help boost your grade. Take this class if you have a photographic memory or HAVE A DEEP PASSION FOR MIS!
Professor is rated too highly for what you get. High workload and disorganized. Practice exams, quizzes, and exams all lockdown browser with camera. Nice lady but not worth taking if you don't enjoy teaching yourself everything. Avoid if possible
2 excel assignments, 2 access assignments (no lockdown browser for these). 3 quizzes that you can take up to 2 times for a better grade, 3 exams and 1 final all on lockdown browser. Several discussions that are interesting and require the use of CHAT GPT. I would not recommend this class to anyone not committed to studying.
If you can then I would recommend taking this professor. There were 2 Discussions, 5 Office Homework Assignments on Mindtap, 1 Research Assignment, 8 Quizzes (Proctored) lockdown browser, 2 Exams (Proctored) lockdown browser, and a Final Exam (Proctored) lockdown browser. Overall nice professor I will be taking her again next semester for MIS 3301
im 50/50. made the class more difficult than it had to be, layout is confusing, scattered & too much material that isnt graded but will give you extra credit. Everything is canvas or cengage. All quizzes&tests are webcam w/ lockdown- only 10 questions. Material is easy stuff. I would take her again if I had to. also a reasearch assignment as well.
Tough grader on homework, has group assignments, does not give clear feedback, is not very helpful.
This was my second time taking her, all of her quizzes / practice quizzes and exams are on lockdown browser recorded. That being said, almost all of her exams are straight from her practice quizzes and quizzes. If you memorize all of the information before taking the exam, you will do fine. There were also 3 group assignments.
The class is doable if you engage with the self-taught material. Lectures are lackluster, but leveraging resources like Quizlet and Unstuck study can really help ace the exams. Overall, a manageable course if you're willing to put in the work.
Mindtap assignments - 10 attempts for each module, so that's fair. Proctored quizzes and exams. Fairly easy class of basic PowerPoint, word, excel, and Access assignments. Access does not work on MacBook, so that bugs. The research paper was frustrating due to unclear instructions on the writing center review receipt for viewing our paper.
The class is definitely an easy A. You need access to all Microsoft programs. Assignments are completed through MindTap; up to 10 attempts per module. There are proctored quizzes and exams, but nothing too difficult. The research paper is a bit lengthy, use the Reading and Writing Center. I took the 5-week summer course and found it very doable.
This professor is horrible instructions are always unclear and grades horribly for no reason even attendance for a fully online class. DO NOT TAKE HER.
Great professor! Class isn't assignment, quiz, or exam heavy! She opens all assignments from the beginning of the semester, so it's ENOUGH time to complete on time! TAKE HER!!!
