First semester teaching,a little rusty at first.Provides you with all material needed for test.All you need to do is STUDY whats givin and you will pass with an A-B.Lectures can be very BORING but what do you excpect for Micro.Very helpfull and understanding, and is passionate about students learning the subject.

He is an extremely good teacher, has good character.. Helps all his students out which is good because if you are one of those people that are not good in that specific subject he will help you.. It is very easy to get an A OR EVEN B, because no matter if you still don't do good in the tests he will help you gain those points..

He's a great teacher! He provides you with every oppurtunity you need, to do well in the class! He makes the material easy to understand without feeling overwhelemed! I wish more of my professors tought like him!

Great guy and professor. Genuinely cares about his students & wants them to succeed. He was a little rusty at the start of the semester but he got better as we went on. He has a slight accent, but is easy to understand. He knows the material very well and is very helpful to students when they as questions. Highly recommend him.

A&P I can be a hard subject to learn(specially if you have been away from school for a while, like me)but he kepta friendly atmosfere in class. We were often advised about being prepared for tests. He uphold a high level of communication between classes so we could come well prepared.I would highly recomend him for Microbiology as well

For a first time teacher he really tries hard to get the point across in terms that all students will be able to understand!your grade depends on you! if you want the A he makes it attainable it is a matter of you striving and working for it. Dr Sam is AWESOME! Very knowledgeable on the subject. Do what he asks of you and you will get an A. VERY helpful. Listen pay attention take notes. It is a hard subject that he makes fun. A lot to put in your brain. He lets you know what you really need to focus on. I highly recommend him. He is really funny and super sweet. Great! Awesome! :):)

Hello, I really Enjoyed His Class, He took his time with the subject matter. He taught from both his Power Points as well as the Text. The test where tough if You didn't study, but if You did and attended class there is no reason not to get an A in the Course. I found Professor Shindore to be a very helpful. I hope to get him for Micro Biology!

Professor Shindore is a very good instructor. He is more than fair and provides all the information in class that is needed to complete assignments and study for tests. His class is highly recommended. All you have to do is show up to class, pay attention, and complete assignments. And he did respond to all students who had further questions.

Professor Shindore clearly states everything that is required of a student in his class. He focuses you in on what is important in the subject matter and provides study guides to help you prepare. Best teache at Edison College ,he is clear on what he want. Prompt on answering email;he is easy to talk to if you are not happy with grades. Over all highly recommend. Took him for Bio 1 Lab. He was pretty cool, nice, and funny. Easy class. He gives you ALL answers for test & assignments. Confuses students sometimes, but overall good teacher. Take him.

Great Teacher. You must study or you will not pass.2 bad grades and your in major trouble. you do not get handed a A. about 3 hours study time per chapter worked for me. do not be fooled this class requires some time. listen for the dry jokes they are great. he will go out of his way to help you, if you are trying.

Love this professor, everything was crystal clear on what he expected of his students. You have to study the material he provides or you will fail. he does have a dry sense of humor but hes a good professor hes willing to go out of his way to make sure his students pass.

I had this proff idn the spring and he is very nice, respectable. A lot of these teachers just read off of powerpoints and act like they are the ones who know everything.This proff allows you to engage and he smiles, he has the fruit of the spirit. Respect for me is everything and he lets you know where you went wrong on the test and really helps.

I had him for bio lab and I was scared to took micro because bio was hard, I took micro with shindore he made class easy and simple all you have to do is study.

Professor Shindore is the best!! He makes the class easy and enjoyable. He knows everything about the subject. There is a paper requirement for the course which is not hard to do because no matter how you do it, he will still give you an A (it is worth only 20 points) The exams are based on the reviews. If you want to learn and get an A, take him!

Professor Shindore is a great teacher and the class isn't extremely hard as long as you follow the power point's and study. The paper that has to be done is not that difficult either. He made the class interesting with his first hand knowledge.

Shindore is my favorite teacher by far. He provides study guides for every chapter. If you have a question he has no problem helping you. If you do what he says and study you will have no problem achieving an A.

I am so lucky to have had Dr. Shindore as my Professor for the first semester that I have at Edison. He is probably one of the most knowledgeable instructor around. He's got high expectations from his students, but all reasonable. Love his sense of humor! He's kind and is willing to help when you need him. I'll take him again and again!

He was a good teacher very easy A. Gives you study guide.

Easy A! Do all the chapter reviews he posts online.. if you study those and the quizzes he does with you in class you will ace the tests! Theres a paper but its only worth 25 points. 4 tests and points for attendance. Theres no reason not to get an A! I never got below a 92 on the tests! Textbook is helpful but not necessary.

Professor Shindore is an easy teacher. If you read the chapters prior to the lecture you will be able to understand fully and he is helpful if you are struggling. He goes over test material so you will be completely prepared. Put in good reading for this class and you will come out with an A

I took this course in summer so maybe because it is a condensed class he did not teach like he normally does. With that said i did not find his teaching helpful but thank god for those study guides! they saved me in that class for sure!

Excellent professor! I approached professor Shindore the class before the exam for some studying advice. He simply said use the power points and the book as a reference to answer the questions from the study guide study these questions. Most of the answers were in the power point, the rest were in the book. I got 100%, enough said!

Prof Shindore is one on the best professors I've had at FSW! I was so nervous taking this class but I'm glad I did. If you're a nursing major take him. He is funny although the lectures can be long he makes the subject (anatomy) interesting. Study the study guides that he gives you and show up to class and there's no reason not to end up with an A

His lectures were long and attendance was mandatory, but the material was always relevant and clear cut, especially for a science course. He helped students by giving concise study guides that you were able to follow along with in class. Strives for you to succeed!

Professor Shindore is an amazing teacher if you are an auditory learner. I am a hands on person so I had to learn how to make this class interesting to me. I had him for Medical Terminology and all I had to do was memorize the word parts and from there on I was great.

I just finish Professor Shindore class for summer B 2015. He read mostly from the power points but, well knowledgeable in this subject (medical terminology). he is great and if you go to class like you should you will feel the same way about him. He gives a great test review. He's awesome you will not be disappointed.

I would highly reccomend Professor Shindore to anyone reading this! Yes, its true his lectures are pretty boring but who cares!!! He gives you a study guide for each exam that is the same as the actual exam taken in class. What more could you ask for? He is a very sweet man and I am taking him next semester again :)

Dr. Shindore is an MD, to have an MD teaching you A&P is a blessing. He gives study packets that he pulls test questions from directly. Very funny and kind. Very clear on what will be on exams. Easy A if you do the packets and go to class.

He is the sweetest man ever ! How can you complain about attending a boring class when you are guaranteed an A if you study the study guides. Any class he teaches I make it a point to take it. Just suck up the boring 3-4 hour class, you'll be glad you have one class that's stress free !!!

Although his lectures are very long and reads from the slides, he is a good professor. I learned a lot in his Nutrition class. This is a very easy A if you study, and take notes on his slide. You must show up for class otherwise you will fail.

Professor is understanding and knowledgeable. You must show up to class to understand the material. Answers all your questions. He also pays attention to your test grades to see if you improve or not. Must study for tests.

Professor Shindore was great. Medical terminology was a super easy class. It was 4 exams and a final if I remember correctly. That's it. Lectures on some days were difficult to get through - he's very mellow; but, he can really be funny sometimes! Love the guy. Just show up and pay attention, because he appreciates it.

He teaches off of powerpoints and has a very low soft voice which can make you get sleepy during class. He makes his own powerpoints that are basically summaries of each chapter and he reads off of them the entire class. You won't need a textbook as the powerpoints will be sufficient enough. Very easy class if you show up and don't leave early.

He is an amazing professor , I love the way he tested us, I learned a lot like that and he is funny but seat at front otherwise you won't be able to hear him, he is funny too, please be respectful and do not leave in the middle of class or you would miss the most important part of it, clues for testing!!!

AWESOME BIOLOGY PROFESSOR!! I took Professor Shindore for a summer semester after having to drop out of a different professors class. He doesn't use the textbook. We only had 4 exams to take throughout the semester, no class work or homework. Just review his study guides and you will do fine!! He is strict on attendance so make sure to be there!

Professor Shindore is very knowledgeable, and I would recommend him for Human Nutrition. Pay attention in class, and review the study guides he provides on Canvas. Four total exams, and one paper so its not bad at all.

Professor Shindore is the man! He puts his homework questions in for the test and he is a great guy. There is no need for the textbook, because you can find the answers to the homework on the PPT. I highly recommend him!

Professor Shindore is a good professor. The class is not an easy A by any means. The information is complex and requires effort. If you do study you can easily get A's on the tests. If you don't study don't be surprised if you get a D or F. Do not expect him to hand you your grade.

Extremely boring lectures because he is an older man who speaks quietly, with an accent, and monotoned. Besides that, this class is great if you want an easy A. Your grade is attendance and 4 exams. Each exam is about 3-4 chapters which have the EXACT same questions from the review. If you do the review questions, there's no reason you wont get anA

He is a good professor. He has the experience, and although he has kinda long lectures, he has good study guides and the tests are okay if you study for them. If you don't study for the tests you won't pass. I'm taking him again for Nutrition.

Professor Shindore is honestly not that bad of a professor. I enjoyed him, and I thought the class was pretty easy. Yes, the lectures are boring learning words and prefixes, but no homework? I essentially just made flashcards during lecture and studied them at home. Only grades by 4 tests, but does offer a retake i believe.

Professor Shindore is awesome, I had him for medical terminology and nutrition and both times he was awesome. He is an awesome teacher, there are four tests and one essay. His class is well laid out, he grades fairly, and if you study you will do well.
