This math freak decided to take an extra 5 points off my exam when I went in to ask for advice that would would help improve my grade. I guess the lesson I learned was dont ask just teach yourself. Get out of the class if you are in it.

he assumes people know what he knows and skip a lot of things. had him during a winterim a few years back, DONT DO IT!

The only way I survived this class was because of my high school teacher!

assumes that you know everything he does, skips steps when teaching the material, very hard to follow, accent is hard to get used to, don't take this class if you want a good grade. He's a very nice person, but a horrible teacher.

Expects you to know the material even if you don't. Not very helpful and grades tests and quizzes very unfairly. Takes points off for the littlest and pointless things and does not give partcial credit so if you have the right answer but don't put brackets around it you could get it marked wrong.

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN! He told me a D was a good grade!

He is hard to understand and his teaching style is, well, not logical. He skips around the chapter we learn, and either doesn't finish examples OR does the examples wrong.

Not the friendliest; was asked to settle for a D-;accuses students of not doing homework;not lenient on exams-ever.

A generally nice man from India with 30 yrs. teaching experience; however, he gets angry at students when they ask questions in class--says they should know it when they're first learning it. Doesn't seem to have a lot of patience with students. Also doesn't teach effectively; I ended up teaching myself most of the material from the textbook.

Horrible teacher, double check his work when he writes it on the board because half the time he has done it wrong, and doesn't catch his mistake, so you think you are doing it wrong. Isn't very helpful at all, and if you ask a question he gets angry at you and makes you feel like an idiot. Avoid this teacher.

Doesn't explain anything. Gets mad when you ask questions and expects you to understand him right away. I've always been very good at math - this is the first math class I've struggled in.

Terrible teacher! Thinks all American kids are ingrates. Not helpful at all! Doesn't try to work with you, you have to work with him. Sometimes unfair in grading also. Very confusing and expects you to know everything. Avoid this teacher!!

If you're not good at math, do not take this teacher! He is difficult to understand and gets very frustrated when people ask for help. He is a funny man and the class was entertaining but his style of teaching is horrible!

he means well but, he is very hard to understand, sometimes he can be funny. i struggled a lot in this class, and i have never had any problems with math before. his tests are difficult, but he does give you the option of bringing in one page of notes for the test. i think he makes this class harder than it needs to be

This is by far one of the most horrible professors I've ever had. He is rude and extremely unhelpful. He complains that people need to ask questions when confused but then makes fun of you when you do ask a question. I had to drop the class because he was soo horrible. I know I'll do better with someone else teaching...someone that acutally teaches

I find him hilarious. He knows what he says but i don't think anyone else does. I would love to understand his lectures, i pay attention all the time, but for some reason when i do the stuff on my own, i don't know what i'm doing. His tests are way too hard for what they should be. It's a strange class. I'd avoid it to be honest.

Horrible! I've never gotten less than an A on any Math work but get F's in his class even though I know how to do all the work. Doesn't like when people ask questions and is very rude. Worst teacher I have ever or will ever have

He has a very strong Indian accent which makes it somewhat hard to understand and he stutters a lot. The class is REALLY easy though and he tries to make it as entertaining as possible since he knows not a whole lot of people enjoy math.If you don't laugh WITH him you will laugh AT him. PS..watch how he erases the boards..it'll make you chuckle.

Although he can be hard to understand I can tell he likes teaching and he's really freaking funny.

Well, it was kind of a struggle. Chadha explains way too much in the beginning of the semester with easy review, but harder stuff starts to surface and he just assumes you know it all. He struggles with the material a lot and people often need to correct him. He's a funny older guy though, and at least tries to keep it entertaining.

Absolutely terrible!! I've never been more disappointed with a school allowing someone like this to ruin peoples GPAs not treat people like their s****on his shoe. No one should take him ever...I'm sorry for your sake if you already have him. He's horrible...plus he's late to every single class.

Avoid this class at all costs. I got the feeling he hated it whenever I went to his office to get help, his "curve" does not make a bit of sense. He wont help, answers in the book are dif. than what he gets walking us through the problem? Mandatory attendance which sucks due the the fact that you don't gain any knowledge from attending...

Horrible professor. Nothing from class/homework is on the tests. Doesn't explain stuff very well. I loved math until I took this class, now I hate it!

Very hard to understand. Laughs when you ask a question. Homework he gives is never made due. You get 4 worksheets in class that you can do in a group, 4 quizzes, and 4 tests. Some material on tests and quizzes he never reviewed in class. He expects you to know things prior to learning them. I would suggest taking a different professor.

Chadha wasn't very helpful. He rarely answered emails, even when I was asking him to give me the problems he had assigned or if I had a question about my grade. He was intimidating to ask questions of and his grading rarely made sense. I wouldn't recommend this class.

Not helpful at all. When we would do problems in class if we asked a question about how to do something he would tell us not to worry about it, or that he would explain later, which he never did. Then we would be tested on it the next day without going over the concept.

Just a complete jerk. Never responds to emails, doesn't have grades posted like every other teacher I had, and caused my GPA to plumit. I have NEVER gotten a bad grade in my life until his class. If you have the choice, do not take his class.

Sweet guy, but not very good at explaining what he is teaching. Class was very confusing for me a lot of the time. Almost every day our class had to correct something he was writing on the board.. If you need stats, try to get a different professor.

Hard to understand because of accent, but not incomprehensible. Doesn't explain math in a way that makes sense. You have to teach yourself the material in order to do well. Wonderful outside of class, but can be very rude and belittling inside of class.

He is a sweet guy most of the time. I'm not that strong at math, and the big issue I have with him is if you tell him you need help, he tells you that he can't help you because he already taught you how to do it. Overall, the quizzes and exams were not hard. Just pay attention and you should do just fine. I passed the class easily by doing so.

Confusing in class; some time poring over your textbook is required until you get used to his teaching style. Take careful notes, do the homework, and the tests should be a breeze.
