Take him. Easy A. Dr. Shyam made psychology fun and interesting. His tests are easy if you study the material and read his powerpoints. We did this cool clicker survey/quiz in class. It helped me learn the material and the questions were similar to the format of the actual test. You do a research paper but it's not hard; he'll help you. Cool guy.

Dr. Shyam was an amazing professor he actually made me interested in psychology his tests aren't hard if you take his notes and come to class and the paper isn't hard if you ask him for help I absolutely loved this professor

Dr. Seetharaman made Psychology VERY interesting. He is very good at giving his students simple and interesting ways to remember certain terms. I was NEVER bored in his class. He is "fun" to listen to and extremely helpful!! I learned A LOT!

Professor Shyam is the absolute best! He is extremely kind and funny, his tests are very clear and go right along with the notes. If you have those and go to class for the reviews you will easily be able to get an A. My favorite class and professor for sure!

Dr. Shyam's College experience class is very good. The quizzes are easy and are open-book. There are discussions on the chapters in the book, that you would post on Angel, do a 500 word paper due at the end of term and quizzes. Take this class!

Super easy class, clear and simple work. Almost no home work, the college experience is a great first class to take when entering college and understanding the fundamentals of it. All of the work we've done in his class is also pretty useful outside of class. (Budgeting, study tools etc)

Dr. Shyam reviews textbook material in easily understandable PPTs. He enjoys class discussion. He encourages school participation in psych club and events! The tests and homework are questions built around the PPTs. There is no excuse not to get an A! You can start on the research paper EARLY so Dr. Shyam has the opportunity to help if you need it.

Dr Shaym is very knowledgeable in certain aspects of Psychology and tends to elaborate more on these sections. He is very upfront about that which is nice. For each section there are fill in the blank slides corresponding and as long as you complete and study those, you should do well in the course.

I was extremely scared to take psyc. Dr. Seetharaman made learning fun!5 exams total most online.He really makes the subject interesting and fun to learn about. Dr. Shaym was a recent professor of USF. I really enjoyed his class, as well as his method of teaching. All you have to do is come to class everyday, print out the power points, take notes, do the homework and exams (hard to fail considering they're online), and do your group research paper. I'm taking his abnormal psych class in the fall! <3

He is a legit scientist as well as a professor, so you trust what you're learning more. He's easy, knowledgable, fun, and at times is inspiring, and it isn't silly or weird, since he is so sincere. When he covers how to learn, persevering, or not conforming to conform, it really does hit home. You really do want to change your life in ways.

Awesome class and great prof really breaks things down to where you actually know what you're learning I definitely recommend printing out the power point slides for each chapter and test review it will make note taking so much easier

This teacher was clear about what exactly was required for the course, he only took attendance the first 2 wks of school, then maybe every once in a while over the semester and there are easy extra credit chances. He's hilarious and taught so well that I'm most likely taking abnormal psych next semester with him because he made psych interesting.

Dr. Shyam was a great professor. I really was not looking forward to taking Psychology after having a bad experience in High School but now I'm looking at taking his Abnormal Psych class because I loved it so much. He makes learning Psych fun and relate-able. He is also very sympathetic to students having to work full time and go to school.

I thought the guy was great, I work all day before class and he didn't try to kill you ,just push you to be better and like what you were doing .Keep me interested. Teaches Master's Psy at USF but didn't test you like that.

Very happy I chose Dr. Shyam as my professor! He made general PSY interesting, and even changed my perspective on several different occasions. Straight forward with engaging lectures and has a sense of humor. Passing shouldn't be difficult as long as you don't skip class and do your work according to due dates.

Dr. Shyam is a younger professor, fresh out of school himself. He is passionate about what he does, cares for the students, funny and knowledgeable! Also, he adds tutoring to the syllabus, and gives extra credit for additional tutoring sessions (who does that??)!!! And he's not bad to look at, especially when he smiles and crinkles his nose! :) :)

Dr. Shyams a great guy, his class is pretty straight forward, and everything you do really helps you learn, and you never feel like the work is unnecessary on top of that theres not really much other than listening. Just be ready for the research paper and DONT procrastinate.

Dr. Sham is a stress free professor. I strongly suggest his class. He is reasonable, reliable, responsible and passionate about his lectures in Psychology. one will have fun learning in his class. A plus girls he has dimples and he's cute! Guys he's nice too and easy to understand.

Excellent Professor. As long as you show up to class and study you will get a "A". Textbook is not required. All the lecture notes is all you need for this course. There for you if you need help on any topic. Make sure to do the Research proposal, he gives you the entire semester to complete it.

Professor Shyam is one of my favorite professors and I thoroughly enjoyed his classes. Took him for Gen Psych, Abnormal Psych and Developmental Psych of the Lifespan. I learned a lot and I would definitely take his classes again. I don't agree with the ratings that say'easy A and just show up, because he grades you what you EARN. Study

This class was extremely interesting and Dr Shyam makes the class fun. I learned a lot. I agree that it is easy to get a good grade, he does not hand it to you. His expectations are more than reasonable I recommend that you study the notes. Although many may not think the book is necessary, it is helpful to have because it goes into more depth.

I've taken two of his classes and he is by far my favorite teacher, very direct, easy to learn, his lectures are organized and very easy to understand. such a helpful professor.

Great professor! You can tell he wants students to pass. There are 4 exams he gives unlimited time and two chances, 4 quizzes, and a discussion each chapter(200 words). There is no reason you shouldn't pass this class with a A or B. He even gives extra credit. Take him if you get the chance!

Took this online course as an elective for my major. Easiest class ever. Always answers your emails and I like the way the content is displayed, not all at once so students get too ahead.

This was a good Professor. Nice on grading and also makes fun assignments to do. 4 quizzes, 8 discussion post, and 4 exams. You can find everything online.

Doesnt like surprises so no pop quizzes. Grading is fair and homework is easy. Just dont show up 30 mins late and youll be good.

Dr.Shyam is the GOAT. I learned a lot in this class and put statistics as simple as he could for me. He is very respectful and takes the time to listen to the class if they are doing okay and if they understand the material.
