I was shocked. He made the class interested. I learned something. But only take if you are serious about school.

He is a very nice person. Easy to understand he relates well with students. He makes you feel like your in a university instead of a community college he actually cares.

He belongs at a uni. He knows your name and wants you to participate. Since he really wants you to learn, he does not accept anything. Don't be absent w/o a valid reason. Do the HW. Attend class. You will learn and like the class!

Took him at a weekend class in Spring 2002. Exams are not easy but quite lenient in grading. Sometimes says funny jokes. A very nice professor in general.

By far, I enjoyed his class the most. I owe it all to him! I was blessed to have had a "quality" education from such a talented and caring man. He always motivated me by his words to NEVER give up but to hang in there. I can never express how much his inspiring words of wisdom "reached me" each time he lectured and how much it meant to me.

He is a great caring Prof. I had four prof. in BMCC so far. He is the most deligent one. He fully plans and uses his class time; His teaching is very clearly instructed with blackboard notes and handouts. His test is not easy. But if you do well and get a good grade, you will feel honored to earn his compliments.

i really enjoyed Professor Askew's class. he applied realistic examples of recent activity in the stock market. It was a great course, overall. He is big on attendance and lateness so if you think that you will have an attendance problem, do NOT take his class.

Prof Askew ACC 222, is articulate, proffessional,and organize. Test are Hard, homework in every class. If you want to learn true accounting take course with Mr. Askew if you are slacker looking for breaks, than this is not for you. Professor Askew's class is for serious students only.

I did not do well on first test. He really encouraged me. I tried hearder. I improved. Many students are ungrateful. They want something without doing any work. If you try, he will pass you. I got B+. I did it

I can't say "he is the best or he is not,because at the end of the day he is A POROFESOR" but if you compare with other profesors under my opinion he reads alot the book and he don't expain the "concepts".The ather thing is the "tests" He is giving in the exams problems then he never explain in class before".If you want an "A" avoid him I got B-

Recommended but be ready for challenge. he wants you to be competitive for big league colleges so expect CPA type questions.

Excellent professor, he knows what he is talking about, is precise on what to study and is really caring about one's success. Tests are a mix of multiple choice, short essay and problems. Took the class during the summer and he warned that he was not as easy during regular semesters. So keep that in mind.

Professor Askew is one of the best professors I've ever had. He is kind, respectful and very patient. He is gifted in the sense that he explains things so crystal clear. Study hard for his tests, very hard. Know the book up and down and you will do well. Accounting takes time and practice, and this professor makes it as joyful as possible.

Everything the professor goes over in class is on the test . Any handouts he gives you must master. If you spend 2 hours a week going over what he does in class you should do very well.

Took for 2 semesters with Professor Askew, he is such a nice person, will miss his class, helps you understand what is needed to pass. 3 tests, drops lowest grade for one test, 1 final, gives extra credit. Prof. Askew gives you everything that is going to be on the test in terms of MC by the power point slides. It shouldn't take more than 3 days to go over each chapter thoroughly. All the Simulation problems come directly from the homework questions just with different names. Anyone that complains about this professor just doesn't know how to study.

Professor. Askew is a nice, sincere, understanding and down to earth Professor I took him for accounting 122 and accounting 331. I received an A- in 122 and a B+ in 331. His teaching style is very straight forward, his exams can get a bit tricky and tough but you can always speak to him and ask questions and he'll try his best to help you pass.

Professor Askew is very resourceful and always available to discuss how a student can better himself. His class is very friendly and students are invited to participate and give their own outlook on the topic. He is Good and I recommend him.

Professor Askew is an amazing Professor. I took his hybrid class this summer and learned so much. He didnt give homework at all. One test, one project, and one final. Both tests are multiple choice with a case and the best thing is that he uses the multiple choice questions straight from the textbook!!! Easy A!! Project was really easy and simple!

Prof. Askew is great when comes to help out the student, he gave good lectures and explained the material very patiently to students who didn't understand the first time. I will definitely look for his other accounting classes for next semester.

I took this course (AIS) in the winter and I just wanted to thank you him for his guidance. After completing the course, I received a job offer based on my Excel skills, including knowing how to sort out a large amount of data using a pivot table. I enjoyed the course and I thank him, again. I will continue to study for the CPA.

Intermediate Accounting II class was really hard but it was not the professor but the material itself. We have to do a lot of homework and read the textbook inside and out. He really wants you to learn and makes you work for your grade, it was worth it at the end of the semester, and he was always there to help us students with our questions.

Best professor would have gotten a D with any other ACC prof. I took as a transfer student from UB for the winter, had the best experience. He cares about all students and makes sure that they have everything they need to pass. Checks in with each student. He actually knows who you are, you aren't just a name on a laptop. Professor Askew is a great accounting instructor. The class is challenging but rewarding - stay on top of readings and assignments. Unstuck ai was a helpful study tool alongside the textbook.
