Class notes are = to text stuff. Midterms are hard not on the same level as exercises & quizzes done in class .

Pretty good teacher, except that she goes pretty fast during class to explain her things and don't give time to absorb info. Tests are okay, but must study for them. Helps if you approach her.

Kind of boring lectures, but what can you expect from this type of subject matter? Nice lady, tells you everything you need to know to pass. Questions in the exams aren't in the same format as they are in class, so be ready to think out of the box. I got a hard earned A-.

Great teacher, very helpful, just let her know what you need, she'll try her best to help. Not an easy course, lots of material to cover. Must study lots and do HW in order to get a decent mark.

clear, concise notes with effective examples done in class. she's just a wonderful instructor who works really hard & really cares about her students. highly recommended! many opportunities to improve are intergrated. assignments are easy and worth an easy 12%. site well maintained for students.

because of strike,a lot of material skip already and do not require in the test at all,only 7 stupid person failed in the 2nd midterm and a lot of good B and A in the class,go study and do not play!

She's very nice, she has a bit of an accent... but it's not that bad. Econ is a confusing subject, so it isn't fair to say that I didn't fully understand everything because of her... she had great notes and great in class exercises.

Goes over material in the class too fast, but we basically finished the whole textbook (from 5-17). The lecture follows the textbook so if you read ahead you can answer all the Q in class (be a keener haha). It's not difficult to get a mark in the B range, but I never seem to get A's in economics. Sigrid is nice and know's her stuff.

Definitely a responsible instructor better than that irresponsible "professor" M__hael Leon__d. please consider taking her. Assignments are straight forward and tests are based on these assignment questions. classtime is efficent. things are clearly clarified. she always updates her website. brilliant knowledge in Economics. very impressive!!

tho i did fail to obtain my desired mark due to some personal problems, she is truly a great teacher. cares about students, passion in teaching and basicly just about everything that is a good comment for a teacher will be a great fit to apply on her.

She is one of the best econ teachers at Kwantlen. She makes class enjoyable and learning easy. If you go to class and study the notes and review assignment notes you well get an easy A in her class. She is very helpful and extremely nice. She also posts extra questions to prep you for exams. I think everybody should take her :)

Took her for 1150 and 1250. 1150 was way easier when it came to tests and quizes. In 1250 she tries to confuse you a lot more. Goes at a very slow pace, easy to understand topics but makes you want to sleep sometimes cause she goes waaay too slow. Do your homework assignments in class, saves time and you wont miss much.

She can sometimes be confusing and unclear but the some of the chapters can be confusing to understand even trying to read the book! She does in-class exercises which are very helpful and she is eager to help and I would recommend her. Also, easy mark with a minimum of studying.

I think she's such a great teacher, join her class, and you won't regret.

She is a good pro. She gives out clear notes. You can get a great mark if you listen to her lecture and do some exercises. The MyEconLab assignment is very helpful and it just gives your 10% free marks... P.S I ended up this course with an A. I recommend you take her class

Sigrid is awesome. Never makes her students feel dumb. the worst thing about this class was the note taking but the best thing was how clear she was about all the assignments and midterms. she tells you exactly what to study. what more could a student ask for?

Sigrid is pretty much a model teacher, unlike many professors she knows how to teach and is very helpful. Took her for micro and taking her again for macro.

VERY NICE teacher and is always in a happy mood!!!! We write notes for the whole entire class and at middle of class she gives us a worksheet to do . Lectures are hard to understand she goes super fast. you gotta read the chapters before coming to class. Tests are hard! I'd recommended her if your willing to do the work and study!

She cares that you are learning. She will explain exactly what she will put on the test. It's really simple and no confusions. I took her twice and I'm looking forward to take another class with her. Good person, great professor!

Awesome prof! Her lectures are interesting: she writes notes with you so she doesn't go too fast. Her exams are super easy. She tells everyone exactly what's on the exam (every question!) before hand. Just make sure to go to class - you won't need to read the textbook if you just listen to her and you'll get a good grade for sure.

I was scared I was going to do badly in econ 1250, but she makes it easy for you to succeed. I like her notes they were very helpful, but read the textbook and you will have no problem,do all the recommended questions in the book, and practice exams- some of the questions are the exact same on the real exams. I ended up with an A-. Thanks Singrid!

She is amazing. you can get good grades even without attending all classes. you can study with her notes. I prefer to take this teacher for every economics course.

Material is pretty easy to understand. Bases quizzes and exams off of in class exercises and assignments. Gives answers online so studying is pretty easy as well. Lectures can be dry, but I think are necessary.

Best instructor I've ever had, quizzes are simple. Way she lecturing was so good, you can understand everything if you just pay attention on class.

Sigrid is an excellent professor for introducing economics. Her passion can be seen so brightly on her face and it even carries outside the class as well. She gives a decent amount of classwork and schedules quizzes between the exams so there is always something to do. The textbook is not mandatory, as the powerpoints are provided online.

Really great professor, who gived grade you actually deserve. Lectures are easily understandable and creative. I recommend this professor to everyone for their future courses.

BEST PROF I'VE EVER HAD. Take her if you can. Her lectures are only 1 hr 20 min long because she goes over the concepts in a clear and concise manner. She's caring, helpful, and kind. Not a tough marker. She answers questions well, and the workload isn't heavy. She does in-class partner exercises for practice. Lets you work together on homework.

Prof. Sigrid Ewender is a caring prof for a really tough subject. She provides many helpful homework exercises on the Moodle course site, so make good use of the material. The Econ textbook is also very helpful, and the slideshow notes is based on that as well. The only cons for the class is that the Econ tests are not for the faint of heart.

Best Econ prof at KPU. Hands down made this course super easy for anyone to get an A in. 4 assignments, 2 midterms, 1 final. All of which come from assignments And class lectures. Dont have to study a lot since she teaches everything extremely well in class. Actually cares about students unlike other profs, wants to see u succeed. Best prof.

If you wanna do Economics, I'll just say go with her. She is so good that you will never find economics difficult. She teaches with patience and give easy exams.
