You few insulting Silvio's teaching methods: If a student is interested in learning the material he is teaching, they will learn a ton from this man. For the students that do not care, he gives them a way out so they do not waste his time or the serious students class time. So get a clue! He's great

He is one of the best teachers you will come across. He explains whatever you don't understand. In addition, he gives you the questions and answers for his test so alll you have to do is study which is never difficult the way he makes it.

Easy A. Gives you questions in order that going to be on the test with the answers.The answers are in exact order but the answers are switched around. He just mix up the order of the letters.

Has a thick accent, but goes over everything thoroughly. Does not require textbook at all. Lectures are through powerpoint which you can download and take home. He also makes sure you are well prepared for his tests. Extremely sweet professor

I took his online class, Summer A. This professor is fantastic. All information is on powerpoint. He gives two exams, the midterma nd the final. Very relaxed style of teaching. I would highly recommend him!

Good teacher and very easy. Even though the class is easy you still learn something. The lectures are kind of long but if you pay attention and take the notes at the end of the powerpoints you should get an A in the class. Attendance is not completely mandatory but unless you are smart and don't need the review then I suggest you go.

This professor is the best!!!! I can't stress it enough. He tells you what's gonna be on the exam along with the answers, and he doesn't care whether you show up to class or not. He gives points for coming to class, so if you think you need the points, its up to you to go to class.

Cuts out all the non-sense and focuses on what you need to know, no tests, no quizes, just take it all as a review. Only one powerpoint presentation to do.

Ridiculously easy online class. Every chapter (27!) had a test, Research Assignment (easy) and Discussion post (easy) and you had to respond to 1 other persons post. Everything was super easy though. I used the text for the tests and stopped listening to the lectures. I got an A for my final average. If you aren't retarded, you will too.

Took on-line class. Teacher is fabulous. Fast response to e-mails. And,if you think you are right on an answer he will listen to your argument and make any adjustment. I think I learned much more doing the research for the questions & reply than just taking tests & doing a paper. It made you think & figure things out. Will take him again.

ONLINE class has all work, including tests online. It was a total of 27 tests, 27 research assignments, and 27 posts with 2 posts each chapter. Yes, it is a lot of work, but he is extremely fair by giving a test review for each chapter. Answer the test review questions yourself on paper before taking online test and you will get a A.

Take this professor for EVERY class you can! He doesn't want you to just memorize. He has a gift at explaining complex material in a way you will understand. I took him for A&P II and Microbiology at the same time! Favorite classes! Very Intelligent, great personality. Loves his job. We all loved him! I wish he taught all classes I ever needed!

Class couldn't be any easier. Pretty much sends you the test to your email (online course) weekly. Has powerpoints with diagrams which are very helpful. However, if you try and message him or contact him he is very rude!!! Not a people person at all.

The Best Teacher There is, Period. He has a passion for Anatomy and Phys, and presents really complex materioal with ease. It is evident that he has put effort in his slides to condense material, giving you exactly, question by question, what is on the exam! Easiest class you will EVER take, hands down. He GIVES YOU THE ANSWERS to the online quizzes IN EVERY CLASS. Just go to class and write down the answers, that is all this class requires. Literally. He's a nice guy, and will even adjust the deadlines for the quizzes if you need more time to take them. TAKE HIM FOR EVERY SCIENCE CLASS HE TEACHES!!

Easiest class ever taken. Very informative. Didnt even need the book. Took the class online, got an A. Just read the Powerpoint slides. He can get easily annoyed when a question is asked sometimes. DQ and Research assignments are easy. I would highly recommend him.

Not too much to say that hasn't been said already. Took his online BSC2085 and BSC2086 classes, and they were great. Didn't need the book - just read the slides and you're good, as well as doing the assignments and discussions. No reason not to get at least a B. Definitely take him.

EASIEST CLASS, TAKE HIM FOR ALL YOUR REQUIRED SCIENCES. Did not use textbook. Took him online, open book open note tests. He sends you all the test questions before the exams. He has 27 online exams, review questions and discussion questions which are less than 200 words. Keep up with deadlines and you will be fine.

This is the best, most knowledgeable professors in the entire institution, if not the state of Florida. So intelligent, so helpful, so easy to get an A in the hardest subjects ever taken. Prof Silvio truly teaches from the passion in his heart. He lectures from the book that you do not need for class. All of his Power Pt. presentations are from the book.Take notes for you exams and you will be gold. BEST TEACHER FOR EASY A. i took this course online and it was so easy. 4 hw assignments due every week which you can honestly just copy and paste from internet. Then 1 test every 2 weeks. He sends practice questions before every test that is exactly like the test. EASY A!

Micro, being 27 chapters, is so informative with abundant info to memorize and study, making it potentially a pain-staking pre-req. This is why having the right professor is so imperative. If you don't take Dr. Silvio, no doubt, you'll suffer greatly. He's a miracle which can't be compared to.

Who'd imagine saying A and P 2 was an easy A? Baffling to even consider, but with Dr. Silvio, miracles do happen. The best teacher for health science, period. Effort towards student success is truly displayed with all the hard work he puts in. No book needed. Amazing!

What a difference a professor makes! I really enjoyed taking this course online with Dr. Sylvio - he breaks the material down into slide shows and gives you study guides for each of the 6 exams which really makes it easy to understand. I would definitely take him again.

BSC 2085 is considered to be a difficult course, but if you take professor Silvio you will have no regrets. Trust me! He is a tremendous asset to the science department at Palm Beach State. Anyone who is planning on taking anatomy, please take this professor. If you don't take his class, then you will have no one else to blame but yourself!!!

Take his online Bio class- easiest ever! Don't need a book, he supplies power points and a study guide from which the exam questions are taken directly. 4-6 ch's & 20 questions per exam. Discussion posts and short assignments for each chapter (copy and paste from the pp or online and still get a 100). Very nice guy. Answers emails quickly.

I was really unsure about taking micro online but his class was fine. He gives plenty of assignments to give your grade cushion. For tests he sends reviews that tell you what to review. Started off a little rough but ended good. Would definitely recommend him to others.

Online format: lectures can be 200+ slides, tests are only 20 questions, but if you do the study guide you will be fine. Assignments are easy if you follow the directions. He wants you to pass and is helpful if you are struggling. Made taking an online class extremely easy.

I've taken anatomy 1 online and yes, this class is no joke. There are a lot of tedious work, discussions, assignments, and tests every week. He does give you ample amount of time but I will not be taking him online in the future. I feel like it was an easy A but I didn't retain anything, and it will hurt me in the future, with harder classes

His lectures are extremely long and the discussion assignments can be tedious. However, if you complete the study guide you should get a A on every test. The study guide is exactly what is going to be on the exam. There can be a heavy load of assignments but they are not difficult to complete.

There is a research assignment and discussion for every chapter with one exam for every two chapters! The study guides for the tests are spot on! There is no way you could do poorly in this class if you stay on top of the deadlines and get the work done! Very easy A!

I am beyond glad that I chose this professor. Took him online, best decision ever! Class simply consists of weekly discussions, reply to 2 classmates and assignments that are 200 words only (which are super easy) and 6 Exams 20 questions each, 30 minutes on the clock (he gives you answers to them on the power-points anyways).
