This lady does not teach well no matter how hard you work. There are pop quizes worth 30% of total mark. she might give a sample test posting it on the web the night before the exam (11pm). There is a very good alternative: Take it with someone Else. Don't waste your time. otherwise Try and you'll see.prof makes this2nd year course very hard.

The Worst professor i have ever had. very unclear, unorganized. spelling mistakes on tests and exams... come on this would not be acceptable with high school teachers. if you take her class prepare to learn everything on your own.

Just dont like her. Strong accent, talk very fast, poor handwriting, topics are not well-organized. She likes to ask a lot of questions during the class, but just make you feel more confused. Will recomand to choose other professors.

I really don't understand why there are people saying she's good, if you want a ECON professor who deliver clear and straight lectures, please don't choose her. She is not organized in delivering lectures, her tests are hard, but the good thing is, her PPT are good. I spend so much time studying for the exams, still hard, please AVOID her.

Do not think I am exaggerating, but this professor is literally the worse prof EVER! I have came across so many 1.9 or 2.9 professors, but she should get a 0. I've attended many post-secondary institutions and this prof is by far the worst professor/educator I've ever had. She is completely unorganized, her lectures make it MORE difficult to understand the material. She has a thick accent that may be hard for some to understand, and mumbles her words. Be prepared to teach yourself the entire course.

Lectures are absolutely boring. For a 3 hour lecture she certainly adds no spice to the lectures other than the 10 minute break, which seems lousy as well. Not to mention that her explanations make no sense at all. I stopped going to her lectures, totally not worth it. Stick to the textbook.

her voice tone is like a refrigerator's thermostat, once she starts talking she will never change her voice tone, after only 10 minutes of listening to her you either fall asleep, start checking FB/insta or talk to your friend. after the first 4 to 5 lectures the number of students showing up cut down to a quarter. her class is a waste of time/mony

Don't ever take this prof!!! dont waste your time. she reads off the powerpoints, and she is extremely boring. She does not know how to teach, and has terrible writing. She made me hate economics.

She is the worst professor I've ever met. Her midterm paper only had 3 short answers which means each equaled 33 of 100!! And her midterm test was far away from the practice paper that she gave you so even though you did all the practice you will still fail. BTW, the average grade in her class is under 40!!!!

The prof has a thick accent and speaks in a monotone voice for 3 hours. I cannot understand her properly nor can i really hear her clearly either. Whenever i come to class, all she does is read off the powerpoint slides. I do not feel like i am learning anything from her lectures. I rather read from the textbook myself at my own pace.

She's not very good at explaining her calculations - she thinks everyone can follow along without a problem. Her examples are terrible. They're hard to understand because they're too broad. Avoid this prof. at all costs. The lectures are just her reading from the PowerPoint. She adds nothing of value during the lectures and moves too fast. The questions she chooses for the exam are difficult. I wasn't the only one in the lecture that learned more from YouTube videos than the actual lectures.

In my own opinion the class was very difficult I had to learn from the text. she is very difficult to understand, but she is a really nice professor. read the text if you want to pass the class do not rely on the lectures because they don't help, and use the myeconlab as well I found it very helpful. tests and exams were hard study for them.

She cant teach, has a accent which can make it hard to understand and half the time doesn't even speak loud enough. Also, reads straight off the PPTs, there is no reason for going to class, she posts all the PPTs online, and textbook is useless don't waste your money.

Fortunately I had a good background of econ but if you don't, then avoid this professor. She quickly rushes through the powerpoints and would get agitated over small things. Even when she explains the concepts, she is too quick with it and her accent muffles it all up. Attend the PASS sessions & other places if you want to pass and understand econ.

She is a fine prof for econ 1000 but 1010 is not her piece of cake. Honestly passed just by reading the textbook. Course isn't that bad but she makes simple things confusing, she has a very very weird way of explaining things which might be fine for a few but went over my head.

I go to lectures at the beginning of each semester to give prof's the benefit of the doubt. I regret wasting my time. Use all other sources available to teach yourself this course. Don't waste your time in class.

She might has a PhD, but she really shouldn't be teaching. She is literally manually making a writing course more difficult. She said ppt is supposed to be a complimentary and everyone should pay more attentions to her class notes on the blackboard, but her blackboard notes are useless at all.

She's easily the worst professor I've had in all of York. She's rude and condescending to everyone and doesn't bother helping out. Before tests, she rants about academic dishonesty as if we don't know about it already, forcing us to start late and forces everyone to move because "empty seats cheating". Please do yourselves a favour and not take any class with her. She is the worst prof ive ever had in York so far. Trust me you wont learn anything from her lectures. And her tests are ridiculous since most of it are application based and is barely taught in class. This aint a bird course, there is a small margin for error in the tests.

Took some courses with this prof. Even though she tries hard to deliver the courses and has years of teaching experience in many institutions (as she claims), her teaching is just as bad as it used to be. Avoid her if you want clear lectures.

This lady explains simple things in very verbose and complicated ways while brushing over the complex concepts that do require detailed explanations. Her lectures give you nothing but confusion! Btw, her tests are hard.

All tests and Exams were very difficult. Professor is also not very passionate about their subject as seen in tutorial when she does not explain how to obtain answers. tests and exams were heavily based on the textbook rather than lectures. Many questions testing knowledge in specific parts of the textbook.

Please avoid any of her classes if you want to get a B or better. Her class average is very low and she has a lot of homework. Spend a lot of time and you won't get a good grade in the end. Why bother? It pulls down your GPA.

Exams play word games with you, exams are particularly, particularly hard, don't take this class!

All tests and quizzes are heavily riddled with stupid trick questions so no matter how hard you study you second guess almost all of your responses and it isn't clear what the question is asking you to solve or verify. The ebook will not prepare you properly for the tests as much as the quizzes. Good Luck.

She is a terrible professor. Every class I attended didn't help me even a little. The tests and exams are not aligned with her daily teaching content. she lacked patience and competence to answer students' normal questions, whether they related to the academy or technical issues. My honest suggestion is to try to avoid her as much as possible.

Never take any of her classes! She only reads from the book in class, but the exam's are different. Word games, she wants to take away your score wherever she can. She is also perfunctory when asked questions and doesn't think of helping the student but stands firm on her own. If I were to take ECON 3569 again, I would never take her class, ever!

It's a writing course, but she doesn't teach you how to improve your writing at all. She asks students to complete a writing task each lecture, but she never gives us any feedback,and students have no idea how to improve. I need to go to YouTube to learn how to write, not in her lectures! SO ironic.

Pretty bad as a professor. She doesn't explain concepts well, if at all and just refers you to the textbook. Don't expect help from her in terms of understanding the concept.

gives a non-stop lecture and no slides. no other material except the book. only thing she says is you have to read the book, like i have to read 800 pages for a 3 credit course and other courses don't matter. what she teaches is different from other profs so you need to cover a lots of things from before. wouldn't take it if there was other profs

she teaches very fast and she said attendants are not required but if you don't come to the previous classes you won't be able to do the test + "drop the course if you do not understand what I'm doing here"(I'm missed only 1 class). Like she doesn't want to explain why she got that result but just writes the answer and says "I've taught this part"

She is by far the worst prof I have been with, her exam style is simple but unpredictable. She expects you to remember every single detail from the textbook (literally every paragraph of every chapter she expects you to know) class lectures makes no sense and does not contribute anything to the test. Your better off just memorizing the textbook.
