I never had so much respect and adoration for a professor before I met Dr. Simon Trench for my Anatomy 32 professor in Fall 2002. He is so amazing, full of wit, humor, knowledge not only about anatomy/biology, but about life as whole. WIsh I was his wife
Great teacher! He has a great sense of humor that makes the class more enjoyable. He knows the material very well and presents it in an easy to understand fashion.I recommend him highly!!!!!!!!!
Love this man! Very passionate about his craft, answers openly to all questions, always in a good mood. Pleasant English accent. He used to be a surgeon so he really knows his stuff! And I agree, he knows lots about everything in life, not just Anatomy.
his tests are hard!!!!!!! but he wants every student to pass...basically u can pass w/ a c even if u fail the tests..it's because all the hw u do
eye *heart* U
He makes one heck of a lecture, amazing teacher. He is very approachable, his tests may be difficult, but he makes it worth it, and the knowledge you get out of the coarse is going to be very essential to your major. In the end, you just gotta thank him
simply stated: "i love you"
Extremely knowledgeable, very good manners, nice British accent, way above community college level
Great teacher, very intelligent and knowledgeable. Very willing to help students and explain concepts. Fun and informative lectures.
Dr. Trench is fabulous! He's funny and always willing to help you out. His class is hard but that is b/c Anatomy is supposed to be hard. His lectures are very clear. If you do all the homework and you'll pass with no problem.
Nice British accents..a very knowledgable guy...very humorous
Greatest guy... got me to pick my future goal of being a doctor.
if u dont knoe how to study, u can still pass the class by doing the workshts in the lab manual...trench is a great teacher and he isnt as boring as the others...he helps out whenever u need it
Prepare to read more in this class than in any other class.
doctor trench is my only love :)
DIDNT LIKE HIS STYLE OF TEACHING. TALKS AND TALKS AND TALKS SO FAST.
I LOVE DR TRENCH. HIS BRITISH ACCENT IS GREAT AND NOT HARD TO UNDERSTAND. BE PREPARED TO WORK HARD BUT IN THE END COME OUT WITH A LOT OF KNOWLEDGE. HE EXPLAINS THINGS SOOO WELL TOO. YOULL UNDERSTAND WHAT HE TALKING ABOUT FOR SURE WHEN HE GIVES EXAMPLES
I'm glad i took him for bio. Class was hard, but i got an A because his grading is awesome. He picked on me and all semester, but i picked back and together we had a great time!

A lot of students told me this class is very though. But i decided to take Dr Trench, he is a good intructor that want his students to pass the class. He wii make sure you understand the topics not only that, he's available to explained and meet each student's needs both in Labs and Lectures.
god teacher, ready to to meet student's needs both labs and lectures. His class is tough but his ready to give information that will help you to pass the class only if you are ready to learn.
Awesome teacher. He's got mad expereince. Lectures are sometimes funny. He really knows his stuff and is happy to help. The class is HARD though. Be prepared to study and use lab time.
THIS MEN IS A TRUE GENIUOS BUT VERY COMPLICATED YOU MUST KNOW YOUR STUFF HE HOLDS GREAT EXPECTATIONS
He is an excellent instructor. He keeps his tudents alive with his funny jokes that are always relevent to the subject. His eager to teach and strong knowledge exceeds.
I love Dr. Trench, I idolize him. I am so glad I took him. He is straight forward about his exams, and always willing to help. Lecture is always interesting to listen to because he is so knowledgeable about science, plus he has a British accent:) Totally recommend him, the best!
very cool teacher! he's really informative and cares about his students. he takes the time to answer all of your questions, which really helps when you're overwhelmed with the many things you have to memorize in anatomy class.
Easy class if you study. He covers things very quickly so be prepared!! Lots of extra points available.
I took his class Fall 2004 and had to sweat blood to receive an A - just because Anatomy is difficult. I loved it though. Dr. Trench explains everything thoroughly and is always willing to help with what you don't understand. I could listen to his sexy British accent thru 1000 lectures. :)
Trench is the best as many of these reviews have illustrated. He demands a lot from you, but he gives you twice as much in return. Anatomy 32 is NOT for the squimish. If you're taking it, it's because you have to and he'll definitely make it worth while. Be prepared to lose 4 months of "fun" time.
I love his British accent. He's very funny and informative. He's always willing to help and answer questions. If you have to take Anatomy then Dr.Trench is your best bet!
he is the best teacher I have ever had. it's a hard course and a lot to memorize, put simply I'm stupid and got an A b/c I did all the E.C.
The class is a lot of work, but the professor is willing to help out.
Knows his stuff cold. Can't teach for Sh*t. Just "reviews" everything. NO teaching skill. If it weren't for the extra credit, and homeworks to hand in with Problem-solving sheet he give out, MOST people would fail. Para-phrases test questions of you have SOME fighting chance to pass (unless you don't have a job can can study 100% of the time).
Obviously the GOOD comments about his teaching are from young students that a) have NO job, b)don't know any better, and c)only have ONE class in semester and it's his class. NO teaching skill. Just talks his way through. Review it what he keeps calling it. Great guy personally. Funny and PATIENT. If he only taught instead of talk.
Funny guy. He really knows his stuff. You learn a lot, but it goes fast. There is a lot of work that he has you do, but he is very fair with grading. He gives extra credit to help your grade.
leture, lecture, leture,Trench don't bother to write in the board just gives out handnotes and he speaks to fast.
Lot's of work required but he provides lots of extra credit and he is a funny doctor.
I took his class in the summer and got an A. However, he is VERY hard. It's worth it though. Don't listen to too much he says in class. Read that text book word for word! Also, do all homework whenever possible. It doesn't help on tests but it saves your grade bigtime!Without the homework, I would have had about a C. Don't take St. John!!

Very tough teacher. He knows what he is talking about.Cours is very difficult, but he will help you a lot . Do all the homeworks and ec.I did not know how to manage the cours and almost gave up but he didnot let me down. I got B.
very difficult! Stay focused, he talks very quickly, Never skip out on labs early-it really makes a difference. Don't take other classes w/ it either! Very smart nice man, but the class itself is super hard & sometimes tedious! Take Stupy!
His class is realy hard but it became easy b'coz he got a lot of extra credit. And if you're not used to British accents, don't take him b'coz you won't understand him most of the time. He is also kind of funny guy but he talks to much. Also, his lecture test is really hard so be sure you read the book, do the xtra credit and memorize his notes.
Strongly recommend to take with him. He is a very genuis teacher who is holding MD degree...He is a doctor... People said the same thing to me that he is tought ,but I think he wants to ensure that you know what you are going to do... Even I did not really have time to study ,but I got a B in his class.. He gives a fair grading to every student..
Did not particulary like this teacher. He spoke very fast.He had this haughty attitude that he knew everything.I found him very boring.I passed, but it was not because of him.I just needed to pass the class.
A very hard but very great teacher. Yes, this class will kick you hard, but you will pass if you study. If you want to skate by with a "C" then take someone like Wakefield. Dr Trench is the teacher that will truly prepare you for the big exams. You'll have to study like crazy, but in the end that's good. Trench is a very helpful and fun teacher.
dr trench is tough! you cant take this class with any other class. he knows his stuff very well. very helpful guy! DO NOT MISS YOUR LABS!Read ahead to understand! He is a brilliant guy! Its not as hard as it seems as long as you study and listen. PASS HIS CLASS AND YOU ROCK! THE HARDEST, FUNNIEST AND COOLEST PROF! GOODLUCK! have fun with the man!
Dr.Trench is hard but he knows the stuff. I think he is a really billiant guy. He is always willing to help you by answering your questions. His exam is hard but fair. I got A without extra credit. His giving lots of extra credits make me feel it's unfair.
Took his Anat in Spring 2005 and Physio in Fall. He is GORGEOUS, funny, witty, and of course VERY intellegent. His lectures are interesting and worth attending. Both of his courses are HARD but he's very fair, always tries to make himself available after class.
What a great teacher!!! But, I studied 37 hours a week EVERY week for the WHOLE ENTIRE semester for his Anatomy class! I got a "B" on a curve w/ extra credit. People actually looked DIFFERENT by the end of the semester this class was so hard. However, this IS the entry level science class for nurses. U pass his class and you'll passphysiology.
I liked his class. He was very clear on what he expected us to know. Lots of extra credit, and always reviewed what was going to be on exams. Lots of memorization, but an overall good class, and good professor.
he's thorough in his teaching. he tells jokes related to the topics which keep students awake & interested in the discussion. he's very patient, helpful, and considerate although his class is tough. His questions are not straight forwards, so students really have to study. He's great! I learn a LOT from him
dr trench treated his students like adults. he reminded me of a teacher when i was a young freshman at CSULB, like dr. trench, she made everyone either swim or drown in the class which meant a lot of studying with notes & lectures-- this aside from personal study time; the real understanding come at the end, something that one will never forget.
Best teacher ever. Know your stuff, he expects you to learn/do preview on the material on your own and then discuss the material in class. His lectures incorporate discussion of the material and once you know the material you will find his discussion VERY HELPFUL. If you want an A in the class, you must work hard and think through the material
Dr. Trench is very intelligent and is very good at teaching. I recommend him to everyone I talk to. I'm even switching my schedule around at work so I can take his Physio class in the spring.
He is HARD. He is a super nice guy, great accent but isnt structured with his lectures. He rambles on and is hard to follow. Tests are impossible. Labs arent mandatory but you must do them all and know them well to pass. I wouldnt reccommend him.
He is like a walking encyclopedia when in comes to Anatomy & Physiology. His passion in science is infectious and so is his sense of humor which he incorporates in his teaching! He is a very patient, helpful, and considerate professor although his class is tough. But you're learn so much from him
You MUST study! His lecture tests are very hard, but the lab test's are not that hard if you have good memory. He gives LOTS of extra credit. As long as you study there's no way you will fail (lower than a C) his class. I did 90% of the extra credit. I didn't dissect the cat though and got a B.Good luck!! Do the extra credit to be on the safe side!
Anatomy is just purely hard but if you prefer a user friendly professor... this is a guy... if your always bored and cant stand listening... youll be able to stay awake with this guy... do all the readings, lab drawings and homework and essays and this should help you earn atleast a C. grading scale is good 62% still a C but class is extra hard
Dr Trench is one of the best professor I have taken before. I took him for Anatomy and physiology. Even they are tough but we are talking about anatomy and physiology. Dr Trench is really helpful in explaining things again and again. His class is tough but you learn a lot.
Fantastic! Dr. Trench treats all students in a fair and decent way. The class is *hard*, but there's tons of extra credit available. His lectures are easy to follow if you understand he layers the material. What seems out of place he will cover again later. He shows how it all interconnects, which is better than a narrow outline. GREAT teacher.
HINT-HINT, NUDGE-NUDGE, WINK-WINK, Get ready for the hardest class of your life!!!
He's cool.
Anatomy is hard but he is really cool. He is funny however his teaching strategy was not for me, but I would recommend him. He is crazy!!!!
took Physio last summer it was hard and overwhelming to think of it was scorhing hot outside. I did all my homework i was the highest in the class, never missed his class from M-Th, always did lab but not did do well in his tests, didnt even tell his students if they're failing or doing well and overall effort he gave me a D grade???? I was furious
funny teacher, very hard class! i really hope that i pass!!!!!
Although I got an A in this class...I worked really hard for this A. The professor is excellent at teaching you everything you need to learn, but the class is still very hard. In order for you to succeed in this class make sure you read the book, do the assignments, listen to the lecture intently. Bring an audio recorder..this helps.
his class is no joke.. It requires extreme dedication..The most difficult part of his class is memorizing the models, because time is limited especially if you have other courses...The lecture exam requires for you read the book and actually be able to understand it...He lectures for two and half hours and its really difficult to stay focused...
This class was awesome! Dr. Trench is an amazing teacher and knows how to get difficult concepts across. I took this class with 12 other units in progress and got a B+. Study, do all the extra credit and you'll do fine!
Difficult class, but that's more the course material than the teacher. Lectures are long & boring, but Trench tries his best to keep you interested. Great prof. Extra credit is offered. Class attendance isn't mandatory & the prof doesn't mind if you come in late / leave early.
Dr. Trench is the best Anatomy 32 teacher at El Camino College you will leave this class either wishing for more or changing your major. Anatomy takes alot of studying and memorization but this teacher has a heart of gold and will to help you understand...i studied and did all the extra credit and got a b+ i cant wait for physio thanks dr trench
Anatomy is hard, regardless of teacher. However, Trench is an exception to the rule. WHo doesn't love a guy with an accent? Great teacher. Lots of work, but you are going to have that in any anatomy class. Great teacher!!
He's great. By far the best teacher I've had. His patience is amazing. He really wants you to learn. It's good to read the book but if you can tape the lectures (or if you're good at taking notes) you can succed. He surely gives lots of extra credit and his grading is totally fair.
Dr. Trench is the best teacher i have had in three years of being a student at El Camino. He is helpful and his lectures are entertaining. He is a fair grader and he wants you to succeed. This is a difficult subject, so plan on lots of time studying out of class. He drops the lowest test score.
I have my first test tomorrow but I can already tell that Professor Trench is passionate and thorough in his teaching. It's refreshing to stumble upon someone who is extremely intelligent and yet still able to deliver a lecture that is entertaining and understandable. I am grateful to have the opportunity to be one of his students.
Guy knows his stuff really nice guy. If you do not understand something you can ask him and he will try to explain it to you as best as he can. Only problem is that he does not break things down into simpler terms. But it does not matter; read the book and you will understand what he says in the class.
He is the most knowledgeable man for a science instructor.
There is no structure to his lectures. He just stands in front of the class and rambles on.He does not put things in an understandable manner or a perspective that is easy to follow.Yes, if you ask he will clarify but there are so many time one will raise their hand. It's a heavy subject but it is a shame that the class didnt make it less of a pain.
This class was very difficult when I took it in the summer. Way too much information to cram in just six weeks. I got a B but I think I would have done a lot better if it was in a regular semester. He is a good teacher with a nice British voice but he expects students to know every detail. The structure of his tests is very challenging.
Really REALLY nice guy. Always offers help and definitely knows his stuff. He explains things in a LOT of detail so sometimes it's hard to remember everything! However, he goes over like 90% of the test material on review days before the exam so you know what to expect. He doesn't mind if you leave early and his accent is awesome :)
This class is very hard. Trench is a better prof for anatomy than for physio. I recommend reading the chapter *before* coming to class, because then the lectures make MUCH more sense. Labs are easy, but the lab tests are really hard--you have to know EVERYTHING you did in the lab, and everything from his handout. GOOD LUCK!
Prof Trench is one of the best professors I've had (including Ivy League). Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, compassionate. You must work EXTREMELY hard (as in all A&P courses), but if you are organized and concentrate on the topics he stresses, he'll find a way to get you through. Recommend recording lectures and reviewing later at your own pace.
Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, clear, interesting lecture. Took him over summer, intensity-super high, however interesting subject+excellent teacher=sense of achievement(I learned something great!) If you are not a hard working type, don't take him. If you want to know physiology, take him absolutely.
Extremely intellgent, carefree, funny, loves pictures of funny animals, always willing to help. The amount of work is intimidating, the amount of information is overwhelming. To get a good grade I recommend that you take notes on the lectures, do the homeworks & labs, read and OUTLINE the required chapters...or be doomed by the killer aardvark.
Read all the required chapters before class. If you can't read the handouts he gives. It will help you understand what he is saying in lecture. He tended to lecture for days on end about Chemistry in the beginning. Just bite your teeth and go to class. He's a great lecturer, and very knowledgeable, but he tend to talk super fast. The most importa
The most important lecture he is going to give is REVIEW session. Make sure to record it, and write it out word for word. You can do an excel spread sheet with one column, the question and the other the answer. If that's all you do you have a guaranteed 85% on lecture and lab. He tended to lecture for days on end about Chemistry in the beginning.
Really really funny and wants you to do well. His reviews are key to getting an A. Don't miss them! Record them and write down everything he says.
amazing teacher, really difficult tests, optional hw but necessary if you want to pass. slightly obscene amount of material to memorize but he really wants you to learn and will spend lots of time with you trying to make that happen.
Dr.Trench is extremely patient & helpful if you ask for help. A lot of material is covered in the course. His reviews are key. RECORD THEM. Homework & labs were optional, but you should do them. Half the class was unprepared for the first test and dropped. Homework, labs, and start studying early to succeed. If not, get that drop card ready.
I will never forget Professor Trench or his class. I really enjoyed him and his lectures... never missed class! Learned a lot from him. Love you always, Simon!
The key to his class is his reviews, record them, transcribe them, make it your world. Don't fight the fact that he gives an insane amount of homework, just put your nose in your book, read, UNDERSTAND and APPLY all that he teaches, rehearse and be ready to take a test that has "All, none, or some of the above."
Would prefer if your a note taking kinda person. If not, good luck.
If you want an A in this class you must do TWO THINGS: 1 - RECORD HIS REVIEWS! Transcribe them! Listen to them over and over. 2 - Watch the YouTube videos for his Anatomy Lab tests! Try searching "Dr. Trench's Anatomy". Watch these videos over and over! Dr. Trench is a GENIUS teacher. But his tests are hard! He will ALWAYS WORK WITH YOU!
Professor Trench is a great instructor. I took his anatomy class and got a B. He is laid back, funny, helpful and easy to approach. I attended extra labs and studied everyday. His class is difficult but you will learn a lot. Only complaint is he talks really fast so I had to record his lectures.
Difficult? Indeed. Doable? yes, as long as you 1. keep up with the homework, YOU NEED the EC trust me! 2. make sure to be there on his test review day and record it, go home transcribe it word for word - and make it your life to know it like the back of your hand. 3. study the youtube videos and use open lab (work on the cat from the beginning!)
Many people say, record the review and just memorize everything he says. If you just want to get B or C, that maybe the way. But, to get As that won't be enough, because you can't answer some unless you really know the stuff. I recorded all lectures, and I spent hours trying to understand everything he said, and got 100s on exams& REALLY LEARNED.
Taking Dr. Trefor the summer, he is super nice, always smiles and has a very upbeat personality. But!! the class is extremely challenging, extra credit and hw take a very long tme to complete, and tests are very tricky. My advice is, do not take this class in summer!! you will not have sleep, or a life. Good Luck!!
Hard but fair. Lots of opportunity to bring your grades up. A's are possible even in the summer. He's willing to work with you and explain concepts your not grasping and the tests aren't that hard if you read the text and do the homework. He's not an easy grader though because this is information you need to know if going into the health sciences.
LOVE DR TRENCH TOOK HIM SUMMER 2012 PHYSIO YES THIS CLASS IS HARD THE STRUCTURE OF HIS TESTS R HARD BUT DO ALL OF THE HOMEWORK EXTRA CREDIT ALL THE YELLOW PACKETS FIRST 2 TESTS R HARD MOSTLY MULTIPLE ANSWERS BUT HE'S REALLY SWEET AND HELPFUL IF YOU ASK VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE TALKS FROM HIS HEAD RECORD HIS REVIEWS AND THE REVIEW SHEET DIDNT NEED THE TEXTBOOK BUT NEED THE LAB BOOK FOR SURE SUMMER WAS HARD BUT I GOT A B SO U CAN DO IT TRY YOUR HARDEST HE'S REALLY A NICE GUY IF U R LAZY DON'T TAKE HIM!
Took him this summer 2012! Class is hard lots of studying and homework. This class offers extra credit assignments and to maintain a C he has a pretty cool grading scale. He has lots of swag and he is a total genius. If you have any questions do not be aftraid to ask for help from him. He is a jokster and makes the class FUN. TAKE HIM!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Trench is awesome! Had him for Anat and this past semester for Physio. He's hard. Gives tons of homework. But is probably the nicest prof you'll ever have. To pass his class: transcribe his reviews for exams. DO IT. Do all the HW, it boosts your grade tons. So glad I took these courses with him.
One of the greatest professors I had ever had! Crystal clear, genius in his area, former surgeon explains in a gist and well, tons of homework yet if you'll keep up with reading and labs homework becomes optional, many extra credits to boost your grade. His A is 88%! His humor and jokes are English in Monthy Python style is to die for! A treat!
Dr. Trench is extremely knowledgeable about his field. This class is a lot of work but if you put in the time, your grade will reflect it. He's funny and easy to approach with questions. I highly recomment him for A&P 34 A and if possible 34 B.
I took him this summer & it wasn't easy. But an A definitely wasn't impossible! Just like what everyone said, make sure that you record& transcribe his reviews. They help TONS! Do the homework too even if it you think it's too much. Dr. Trench is an amazing professor! He jokes around a lot and has a lot of wit so the class is never boring!
I took him during summer and his grading scale helped me a lot. I really enjoyed his class.
He is tought, his test does not reflect his lectures or homework. He might be using board test questions.
Listen everyone, Professor Trench is a very nice teacher but the way he teaches is all over the place. I took his class not because I needed it but because of the good ratings that he has on here. lectures are all over the place, they don't match the exams, he gives tons of homework which isn't worth much points and his lab assignments take long.
Professor Trench is a very nice man. Actually, I think he's very wise and obviously passionate about the subject and his job. Always smiling and joking, but he is not organized, there's no structure in his class. You are on your own to teach yourself and I know this is how college should be, however, lectures aren't the same as exams. Avoid!
He is a really nice guy, he loves his students, and he helps students to get the grade they want. His tests are not super hard, just record his review, study it over and over and you will be in a good shape.
Im in my last semester with Dr Trench and I love his class. Lectures are long and cant really take notes he goes pretty fast but just record them and he covers everything. Tests are hard but the review is off the test so study that and you'll do fine. Not a lot of tests so have to be motivated to study on your own. Super helpful on tests!
Dr. Trench is great. He is very knowledgeable. He's like a walking WebMD. What's great about him is that he's very patient with his students and he really wants them to succeed. The lectures are entertaining (he inserts witty comments every now and then). Awesome professor. I learned a lot in his class.
My favorite professor yet! Love his sense of humor! It was a pleasure being in his classroom. Work hard and you 'll get out what you put in. Fall 2015
I took Trench 2015 Fall and enjoyed it. He is a fair grader and a wonderful teacher once you figure out how to study for his 130+ question tests. I used the book, recorded his lectures, and rewrote his lecture and that helped me learn better. He gives packets to study which adds to the amount of information you should know for an A . Wasn't hard!!!
One of the best professors I've ever had in my college career! Dr. Trench is passionate, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor! I loved taking Anatomy/Physiology with him
He is such an inspirational professor, he really enjoys educating students. His lectures are usually pretty easy to follow along with he uses old fashion style of teaching but I enjoy it that way. RECORD his reviews for tests you will at least pass with a C if you remember every word said on it.
It's not an easy class. But if you study his test review lecture and memorize it you can pass. He's such a sweet teacher. To pass with an A you have to put your part in actually reading on the topics discussed in class. It will make it easier when studying. Instead of memorizing, you should understand the physiology.
He is the best professor I've ever had! He is very considerate and kind. He helped me so much. At the final test, he waited for me one hour more to finish it without any pressure! He loves his job and his students. He is very easy going, and he always says life is too short. I'm gonna miss him. I wish him all the best, health, wealth & happiness.
Trench is such a nice teacher who cares about his students. This class was a hard class, so get ready to read. He hands out packets of the lectures, but the packets don't give much detailed information, so use other sources like the textbook or online videos. Lectures are long. It helps to record his lectures and reviews. First 2 tests are hard.
Trench is one of the sweetest professors at El Camino, he truly wants you to succeed. Very approachable and will answer any questions you have. The key to his class is recording and transcribing the reviews and even the lectures. This is the hardest class I've ever taken, but you definitely learn a lot.
Definitely hardest class I've ever taken, but if you put in the work and study you should get an A/B. Transcribing lectures helps a TON for tests. 3 extra credit opportunities raise grade 3% and you get to drop 1 lab and 1 lect test. I would highly recommend Trench if you actually want to learn. He's also funny which is a plus! Super sweet too :)
He is caring, funny, and encouraging. He is a nice guy who really tries his best to answer your questions regarding the school subject .. eh.. lol one thing is his lectures are old fashioned (overhead presentations) and he talks for the remainder of the time without powerpoints nor writing on the board.
Professor Trench is definitely a caring professor. However, his class runs by beam projector which makes it hard to follow because he does not draw thru things. Since it depends on the projector, it is hard to keep up with. He goes over exam review before exam must record and listen repeatedly since a lot of clues for test questions are in there.
One of the toughest classes I have ever taken (harder than Microbiology!!) The key to success in this class is to RECORD HIS LECTURES AND GO HOME AN REWITE EVERY LITTLE DETAIL HE SAID. The exams are SUPER tricky, but if you put in the hours of studying you'll do fine!
I went to El Camino years ago. Don't remember many of professors there, but I remember professor Trench. And not just because of how much work his class work, but because he is the most interesting, intelligent and knowledgeable professor I have ever had and that includes both college and university.
