She is amazing! She really does care about her student, and she will go over and beyond to help you!

Professor Andrade is an amazing instructor. I call this class easy due to the fact that her lesson plan is laid out in a professional manner. You do not spend a ton of time locating the order in which to do assignments nor do you have to comb through the table of contents to locate information. She grades and posts rather quickly.

Simone has been a wonderful professor! She is succinct in her lectures and yet still makes them very interesting. She is more than willing to go above and beyond to help her students understand the material and excel in their writing. She has been, by far, the best college english teacher I have had the pleasure of being educated by.

She's extremely funny and keeps the class engaged. The lessons are very organized and structured. She focuses on visual rhetoric, so this is a great class if you prefer watching movies and art over reading books. Lot's of assigned group projects, but all the work is done in class. Very fun and relatively easy.

SUCH AN AMAZING PROFESSOR! She is so organized, grades quickly, gives you great feedback, and she's so sweet. You can use notes on quizzes/test. At the end of the semester you can turn in revised essays to bring your grade up. Gives extra credit as well. She is there to help you succeed and wants everyone to pass! Easy A! Take her!

Extremely confusing criteria. Eh grader. Do not know what she grades off of... Usually pushes due dates on papers back. Isn't prompt with returning grades. Seems like a better face-to-face teacher although this was her first online d2l course to teach.... Responds reasonably. Overall okay teacher.

She's absolutely hilarious, she's kind and makes sure that everyone will pass. She genuinely cares about you whether it's about something personal or about your grades she'll talk to you and try to help you out. She is definitely one of the best professors I've ever had.

Simone was honestly the best. She really took the time to get to know everyone and wants all of her students to succeed. We had 5 group projects, a few quizzes(open note), 5 essays, and a research project. As long as you do the work you will get a good grade! She's the teacher that former students hang out with in other classes b/c she's awesome!

Professor Andrade really is one of the best professors I've ever had. She really cares about her students & wants what's best for you. Her assignments are pretty fun & she gives you plenty of chances to revise your papers to assure you get an A. She's also very big on visual rhetoric (films and art) for those who don't like reading as much!

BEST TEACHER IVE EVER HAD. He will help you with anything and everything. Her grading is moderate. Basically participation. 1 group project. NO TEXTBOOK REQUIRED. Saves you money and no reading! You can use your notes on quizzes. Overall great professor!!

Professor Andrade's online class was honestly a lot easier than I expected. I honestly don't like writing or anything to do with writing, but everything was simple and easy. She responds back to your emails fast, and answered any questions I had. SO glad I took her!

She actually makes writing papers fun. She has little meetings with you during class to go over your mistakes and ways to improve. Plus she really loves sharks. Talk about sharks and you will be deemed on her favorite list.

I just took her English class in the winter mini-mester online and she is amazing!!Great feedback on any assignment and emails back to you quickly for any questions or concerns that you have. I took this class online. Pretty... well very easy. She is not a hard grader. She split her 8 weeks into four 2 week sessions. (For me that made it less stressful... its psychological). All you do each week is a discussion post, no limit and reply to two classmates. You MAY have another assignment. She gives EC and great feedback for everything. A+

Dr Andrade is simply AWESOME! When grading each assignment she will meet when you to discuss your strengths & weaknesses. She breaks everything down to make sure you fully understand the material as well as the assignment. No question is a dumb one. Ms Simone is very understanding & treats everyone equal. Easy class with some valuable information for business communication. Syllabus is clearly defined and adhered to. Dr. Andrade sent weekly emails and reminders for assignments so you know what was due when. Lots of extra credit opportunities.

MS simone Andrade is a Good professor who really cares for her students. you don't need a book which is good for your pockets. though I must warn you. get ready to do some research for half of your essay's. if you miss class you will fail this class. this course is an easy A just follow instructions with this professor and you should be okay. :)

Dr. Andrade is my favourite professor at Lone Star. There are a lot of paper for this class, yes, but she is very accessible if you need help. She gives clear grading criteria. Its clear she passionate about what she does. Simone also really evidently cares about her students. Definitely take her!

Took this class for the winter mini. Take if you want an easy A, don't take if you want to actually want to learn anything about composition or rhetoric. Unclear grading criteria and stupidly general criticisms on papers, can't actually ever improve your writing. Would have rather spent my Christmas snuggling with my boyfriend and playing DOTA.

TAKE HER. I took this wonderful teacher as a 3wk minimester, and it was the best decision I've ever made. Easy A if you get all of her homework done. She gives you extra credit and sometimes extra points for creativity. She is very responsive and sends you one on one emails with information pertaining to you explaining what u need to do to improve.

She was wonderful! She gave several completion assignments. She also had very specific and detailed instructions for assignment. She responded very quickly to emails and graded assignments fast! I will for sure be taking her other English class! GREAT Professor!!!

Provides textbook, very helpful/caring, do what she assigns and by their due dates and youll get an A, funny, gives some extra credit, gives advice for your assignments and lets you know what to do better next time. Overall great professor.

I took Dr. Andrade this summer semester, she is an amazing professor. She cares for her student, and she makes the class fun. Professor Andrade is by far one of my favorite professors in LSC. She cares about her students and is always there to help. She does not require any textbook for this class since her lectures are very informative. Very easy A class as long as you show up to her lectures.

I loved Dr. Andrade English 1302! She doesn't require you to buy a book, she provides text and powerpoint's on D2L. She cares about her student's, and offers great feedback. She also answer's questions and reply's very fast! She offers many chances for extra credit. DO your work and you'll pass, due dates are pretty far apart as well :)

8 week online class consisted of a few easy discussions, few easy technical papers, no quizzes or test. No textbook required. She gives multiple extra credit opportunities. For being an 8 week class, I had time to spare. Minimal work required. Prof. is kind and professional and responds to emails. I definitely recommend taking Prof. Andrade. A++

Professor Andrade was great and I would take this class again. You do not need a textbook for this class as she gives you the reading material each week. Assignments were challenging, but not difficult. She gives great feedback that helps you learn from your mistakes and what is expected in technical writing. I really enjoyed this class.

I took her class for an 8 week class and I did not regret it. I was afraid for the big essay assignments but she gives clear instructions to follow, which make them easier and the are not that big! She gives good feedback and extra credit opportunities. I definitely enjoyed taking her class.

Professor Andrade was a Fantastic teacher I was late picking my classes for the spring and I picked her class she is really caring and always reply back when you email her Since the Pandemic happen which transferred us to online. She did a fantastic job helping. If you do the work that is assigned you should be not have problem passing I had a A+

Literally amazing!! I took her for 1301 and 1302. She was funny and fun. The assignments we had were papers and 1 or 2 projects. Fun and easy class, take her if you can. She is also extremely understanding. There are not any tests, except the final but its open notes.

I took Andrade for the Winter 2020 3 week online semester. Her assignments were easy & clear in what she wanted you to do. As long as you do the assignments, you're golden. She's very good with giving you feedback on all your essays and written assignments and very quick to grade work. She offered many extra credit opportunities too. She was great!

She was my favorite teacher. She makes writing papers fun by writing about diffrent movies. She is very understanding and a very carring teacher. If you show up and turn your work in on time you will pass her class. I love that she does not make you buy a textbook for her class.

Prof Andrade was AMAZING! I took her 3 week course so it was very fast paced but she helped me with any and every question I had. She grades SUPER quick and allows you to make up any assignments you get a low grade on. She tells you how to correct your paper to get a better grade as well. 100% would recommend and to take again.

Dr. Andrade is great. Only 1-3 assignments and discussion per week, really easy to do. Powerpoints are very concise and not filled with unnecessary content. She posts assignment examples to guide you through the assignments which was the best part of this class b/c they were so easy to follow. There's extra credit if you finish the course eval.

I highly recommend this professor!!!!! She wants her students to succeed. If you need to she allows you to turn in late work without any penalty. She also allows you to correct your work for a better grade. Assignment are not challenging whatsoever!!! Its a win win for everyone

TAKE THIS CLASS! she is an easy grader. I believe there are 4-5 essay but she provides a sample essay for each so it's really easy. I'm not good at writing essays but I got 95+ on my essays. she also offers extra credit. You get an assignments and discussions every now and then and she gives you a 100 for just doing it.

Dr. Andrade is a phenomenal English professor. She will give you so much feedback and allow you to correct your mistakes. She is patient and she is helpful with anything you seem to be struggling in English 1302. The discussions, outlines and work is easy to navigate. If you have any questions she answers promptly. Took her online 1301 6-week for fall '23 and online 1302 for her May 3-week/summer minimester. Seriously the kindest, easiest professor I've had to date. HW's are easy, but definitely time consuming. 1302 mini consisted of 2 discussions a week, a one-page essay, 2 annotated bibs & 2 research outlines, optional extra credit. SHE'S THE BEST! TAKE HER

Professor Andrade is awesome, when she noticed I was struggling with certain papers she took the time out side of her work schedule to speak with me. She email back pretty fast if you have questions and give encouraging feedback on your work. The work not too difficult, put forth an effort and participate in the discussions you'll pass her class.

Took minimester. Easy class, very accessible and helpful professor. Essay prompts were frustratingly specific (1 essay, 2 detailed outlines) and hard to write on. Several discussions per week, seemed like busy work. Assignment instructions were unclear—outlines may as well have been essays. No reading required.

If you want a stress free class, then I would highly recommend ENGL 1301 under Dr. Simone Andrade. She is a very fun professor to work with, and her lectures encourages everyone to participate in class discussions and assignments. You do have to put time and effort in the essays though, but that goes for most essays in colleges. 9/10.

Prof. Andrade is an awesome teacher, she really cares about the students and wants to see you succeed. She's really good about giving feedback, both written and in one on one talks in class. At the end of the class she allowed revisions but the outlines for the essays she assigns are so detailed it's difficult to make more than minor mistakes. A+
