She's a young new professor and loves her job! Great professor and is an easy grader. She's chill and laid back and doesn't give many tests. Easy online homework every week and a few tests here and there. Gives a study guide for the midterm and final. Gives you more than one chance to do the homework if you need them but don't abuse this. Ms. Durham is a very understanding person. She makes the classroom interesting by relating sociology to real life situations. I like how we have class discussions instead of her just lecturing and the students just listening. Not only does she ask for our feedback so that she can improve things about herself she actually makes the changes.

Professor Durham will give you NO PROBLEMS as long as you come to class, participate, & do the work. Her syllabus entails every assignment in the course except for any extra credit opportunities. One thing I would of appreciated this semester was either more time on our exams or less information on them because I felt myself rushing to complete it.

I didn't like the idea of midtap, but I believe she was very understanding when student brought concerns to her attention. She definitely made the necessary changes and didn't dismiss us.

She provided several opportunities for the students to work through these issues. She also gave us a detailed test taking guide. This was different because professors usually don't help in this way.

So Professor Durham was a coo professor. She graduated from Morgan the year before. Our class was once a week on Wednesday nights 5:30-8:15. She always let us out early. There was a E-Textbook. Be prepared to fully discuss in class the text. Everything was done online we never did anything handwritten in class. Love the hands off approach.

Really young and cool professor. Always answers her emails. Cares if you fail or not. A lot of mind tap and black board assignments. But that's a good thing because you have more things to be graded on.

I am glad I had the opportunity to take Prof. Durham's class. This was the one class I was excited to go to every week, her lectures kept me engaged and they were informative. This class is an easy A in the sense that if you follow her guidelines, attend class regularly, do all the work, and participate in class you should be fine.

you NEED the textbook there is no way to finesse the homework notes without it. She is very reasonable and a realistic professor. We never got off track from the syllabus. The notes are lengthy but again you are just copying the textbook. The tests are lowkey hard because you have to remember A LOT of vocab and it is like 3 or 4 chapters on each.

This is a great class to take for your behavioral science credit. The class is easy honestly just do the packets, type the papers, and study the vocab for the quizzes and you should pass. She's a real down to earth teacher who's willing to work with you. You don't have to attend every class to pass ,everything is online.

This class is not quite an easy A and is not hard either. The work is half quiz and half paper writing about 4 quizzes and 5 papers. The quizzes are not your average 10 questions there more like test. If you are not a great test taker or have anxiety when it is time to test then I recommend you take another class. Professor Durham was very clear in her communication ad expectations of the class. I like that she as laid back but also very thorough in how she covered the material. I felt comfortable asking questions for clarification which is not the case for many Professors I've dealt with.

I took sociology 101 online for the winter minimester & she was great! Due to the winter session being so short we had homework everyday but it was not hard at all. Literally read the selection & answer the question; the questions were opinion based so there were no right/wrong answers. She graded us upon how much effort we put into our responses.

I would absolutely recommend Professor Durham to my peers. She is truly amazing and has very well taught me so much through her knowledge and love for her career. She is very inspirational and takes her job tremendously serious. Not many professors would sit after class and talk to you for another half hour; to engage on the subject more in depth.

I really loved taking a class taught by Ms. Durham! I took it in the first session for the Summer 2020 semester. Due to the circumstances of this summer, she was very understanding and was lenient on due dates for assignments. All of the assignments were pretty easy to do, especially if you read the corresponding chapter.

This class made me interested in anthropology! We only met twice a week to review chapter information and all of each chapter's assignments were due every Friday. With it being a summer class, I think the amount of assignments was appropriate and easy to keep up with (5 Vocab Quizzes, 5 Reading Questions Assignments). Overall, an Easy A!
