He's a truly awsome teacher, makes class very intersting, he's also really funny, wont put you to sleep. Made me really interested in subject even though my major is Political Science. Take good notes, and with review, you have to get a good grade.

I LOVE SINA!!! He's my favorite teacher by far. He's humorous, very intelligent, and knows exactly how to explain the material so that everyone understands what is being said and has a genuine interest in the material. Does not require much from you, very easy if you take good notes.

Very cool teacher. He is very funny and he makes the class interesting. Take good notes and you should get a A in the class. Everytime i go outside at night i have to stop and look a the stars, one of the coolest teachers i had so far.

Excellent professor. Very engaging, helpful, and not unclear at all. He preps you really well for the test with the study guide and makes astronomy interesting as well as understandable.

Sina is a very good teacher. No homework is required, just take really good notes and study them before the next class so you can answer his questions. If you do, he will LOVE you! Also, if you show up every day and get A's on all the test, he won't make you take the final. He wants you to ask questions, but don't ask dumb ones, or else.

NO HWK, NO Book, NO Boring lectures. Its true he is the coolest teacher, super funny, understanding & intelligent(knows his stuff).He wants all students to get A's. He does prepare you with an excellent review before each exams (practically gives you the answers),just remember to be prepare to write fast. 4EXAMS greatest teacher ever. HIGHLY RECMND

Sina Sadjadi is a great professor. He is very clear with the material, and reviews everything before a test, so be there!! HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT. No HW, no essays, no research. Just come to class, take notes, be there for the review, get an A on the test if u studied... An easy course to satisfy my Phys Sci GE requirement.

TAKE THIS CLASS. Sina is one of the most amazing down to earth friendly teachers I have ever had. He is interesed in the class and will help students if they need it. Does reviews before the test and i highly recommend going. Pay attention and ask questions. hes great.

Great teacher makes the class fun. Alot of information to devulge, but he does his best to clarify concepts. Just come to class and take alot of notes. You will do fine.

He knows astronomy from the top of his head. The class consists of three tests (each test is 30 percent) and participation and attendance (10 percent). He takes attendance once in awhile. Ask A LOT of questions regarding the lecture. He is willing to answer anything. Also before a test there is a review. He also curves the test.

He makes this class a lot of fun. Easy homework, lots of opportunity for extra credit, no textbook required. He is the best teacher at SWC. He's very smart and has a GREAT sense of humor. He is the most helpful professor I've ever had and I've attended 3 junior colleges. He makes learning Astronomy fun and is easy to talk to.

AWESOME he is one of the best teachers I have ever had, he is down to earth, goes out of his way to help you out and is very passionate about astronomy! Sina is very nice and funny, keeps the students entertained. He does not give out any homework, but his tests can be tricky. Make sure to pay attention to the reviews before the exams. He rarely takes attendance, and he doesn't try to get to know the students by name.

Sina is great. The class is really easy. The homework is just 2 questions from the previous lesson. You don't need the book. The test are from the notes and he reviews before the test. Just take good notes and review and it should be an easy A. The class is really fun too. I hope that you take that class and enjoy it as much as i did.

he is a hard professor, but really cares for his students. if u attend class everyday and take otes u should be able to pass with a decent grade

He's pretty cool/funny and makes the class interesting. Some of the info was difficult to understand, but that's why he wanted us to ask questions! I was intimidated and didn't know how to ask questions to the difficult stuff. =/ It just sucks that we had a sub a few weeks before the final, cuz I didn't understand ANYTHING the sub talked about. >_<

Heart of a lion this professor knows the craft and art of teaching. He was very helpful with my learning disability and he has a charming personality that makes you laugh and brings a smile.

Super easy class, easy going guy- but definatly will put you on the spot. take good notes- write everything! and def make sure you are in class for the review. No Hw or essays. Tests are straight forward. I studied an hour before each test and got a B in the class

Easy class. I don't know what these other people are talking about he gives you all the answers two days before his tests. If you fail him, you just lack decent study skills. Easy A!

Easy class don't buy the book. Its like almost 100 dollars and he never uses it. Class is easy no hw and only 3 tests. Copy everything he says does a review b4 the exam. I didn't study but still got a B also grades on a curve.. Really knows and is passionate about Astronomy I would take again.

If your interested in Astronomy, this guy is the right person to listen to. He makes lectures really exciting and funny. You do not really have to buy the book but studying is a must if you want to do really well in his exams. If you get bored easily and day dream often, then this class is not for you. Oh yeah, take notes! They help alot!!!

Attend every class, listen, study, ask questions, and you'll do fine. I expected astro to be my most boring class but he made it interesting. He's fair-if you're 1 point short of the next grade up he'll probably give it to you, esp. if you ask good questions or give a good answer in class. He likes participation but says to take it easy & relax ;)

Sina makes the class interesting and easy. No homework assigned, no hard exams, nothing of the type. Just show up and pay attention, take GOOD notes and you'll be fine. He even tells you what's gonna be in the exam. If you have to take a science class, take Astronomy with this guy! And don't bother buying the book, we never used it.

Hands Down coolest teacher at SWC!! SUPER Funny, makes you want to go to class! Easy Class. All you have to do is take Notes, NO BOOK! He gives 3 exams No homework and evrything is from the Lecture notes. And check this, The day b4 evry test He Reviews, He Goes through the whole test And basically gives you the answers. Sadjadi is one of my most favorite professors that I've ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable and wise. He mentions things about Quantum Physics as well as demonstrating his vast intellect & profound meaning of life. I highly recommend this teacher and truly admire his charisma & wisdom. And this all happened in Astronomy 100. No HW btw.

Best teacher at Southwestern college! I had no interest in Astronomy until I took his class. I liked listening to his lectures. I took his 8 week course. He genuinely wants us students to learn. He's extremly helpful and very intelligent. Take him you won't regret it! You must attend every class.

Take this teacher. I took him for Summer and it wasn't bad. but you can't be lazy. You don't need the book but you have to write down good notes. He reviews everything on the test the day before you take it. Asks questions he enjoys it, he has a cool accent too! lots of ppl do bad on his tests but that is because they aren't bright.you'll do grand

Great Professor! Has an obvious passion for Astronomy. Took his summer class. Doesn't require a textbook, just take really good notes. Very smart, funny, & fair. The only thing that makes him mad is RUDE PEOPLE. Reviews Exams the day before (he practically gives you the answers). Easy A if your polite & take good notes.

Great guy, laid back. Had him for astronomy lab and i had a blast in his class. You just need to buy his notes at the bookstore(only 5 bucks)I highly recommend him. Attendance isn't mandatory.

I took Sina's lab class 25 years ago. He was an outstanding instructor that planted a love for astronomy in me that lasts to this day. What's really neat is that I get to teach my kids the things he taught me!

Took Sina's class about 10 years ago and to this day he remains one of my favorite professors ever. I don't think I ever missed his class, because I found it so interesting. Show up, pay attention, you'll pass. I still remember stuff he taught me to this day.

Great professor, I took him last summer and wasn't looking forward to a 3 hour class, but was completely relieved. He explains things clearly and extensively. He can be sarcastic, but i believe its because he expects more from students. Overall he got me interested enough in Astronomy to pursue a degree in aero space engineering.

He is a good teacher and a pretty nice guy so long as you are respectful. He is a bit arrogant and actually makes some comments about students that aren't necessary. He teaches his material well, makes it pretty understandable. Take good notes, study before each class, and show up for reviews, it helps. He has a temper so don't upset him.

Awesome guy i always watched universe shows so i decided to take an astronomy class with this guy for the summer and man my eyes are open to so many wonders out there i will look forward to take further classes with him Thank you man i was also on your lab class sat in the very front with the marine girl with tatoos

Awesome teacher! My favorite teacher currently this semester. He's so funny which makes the class so much more interesting. I like his sarcasm. So far had one exam, it was chill-he goes over the material thoroughly. Might pick on you but, relax- no worries. He only picks on the ones that want to be picked on LOL. Explains everything very very well

Great teacher! My favorite class this semester, he is really motivated to teach his students and offers help if you don't understand a certain topic all of the time. He doesn't really go by the syllabus calendar though, he skips a few things or takes his time on a certain topic, but other than that he is great!

What a interesting course. The professor himself is interesting! He always made me laugh. However DO NOT get on his bad side, Study and review daily so you don't make him upset. EASY A if you follow the rules and listen.

Sina is by far one of the smartest instructors that I have ever had in my life. This man knows his astronomy and he has the knowledge to prove it. In my opinion, he teaches his class like a 4-year university class because his level of content is challenging. He will ask you questions in class for extra credit. Study over your notes every night.

I took this lecture and it was great. A lot to remember but as long as you take good notes you'll be fine. He gives you all the questions before the test so you know what to study for. Professor Sina is truly a great professor. You have to buy your lab packs if you take him for lab. Astronomy is difficult, but he explains it so well and helps a lot. You get to leave when you finish the lab which shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours. He is hilarious, and brilliant. Best professor I have ever taken at SWC.

Mr. Sadjadi is a great professor that will do his best to help you if you're willing to display the effort. I failed Astronomy 101 the first time with a different professor and passed his class the second time around. He's funny and like I said, he wants to help you but you have to put out the effort :)

His class is super simple to get down. Regardless of how much you like astronomy or not, he makes it easy to learn and will make it a breeze. If you have questions he will love you for asking them and will appreciate you taking the time to try and figure something out. The only homework is to ask 2 questions about last class you arent clear about.

The easiest science class. The only HW given was 3 questions to turn into the beginning of lecture. Every time you participate he gives you extra credit. Exams are really easy if you study the notes from test review days, he reads straight from the exam. I usually record lecture that day and type up notes.

His lab book is only like 5 dollars, the labs are really easy. He basically gives you a small lecture that has most of the answers you need in the labs. Labs are like worksheets. There is only one exam, the final. The last class before the final he gives you all the answers to the final which is only 7 questions. Labs are like 1- 1 1/2 hours long.

Professor Sina makes astronomy class very entertaining. He tries to relate with his students and is very approachable during class. Outside of class it is very difficult to get a hold of him as he doesn't have a canvas account and his grading is very old school. I would recommend taking clear and good notes, he usually gives extra credit.

Funny guy great professor just don't text or talk while hes lecturing and you'll be fine

He has such a bubbly personality and he is super humorous and sarcastic! Overall the class consisted of a lot of labs that weren't impossible to complete because he allowed everyone to work together and he answered questions and helped if needed. He literally gives you the answers to the final the day before you take it and its super easy!

He is very funny in his lectures and he is really passionate about Astronomy. He values participation above all else. He gets a little of topic from time to time. Sometimes he is really easy going and other times he's hard on students. TAKE NOTES, all his quizzes can be aced if you know your notes. Good professor.
