Late for almost every class. Takes weeks to hand back marks. Exams are lots of different questions on a single concept. Breaks always go overtime. Will not prohibit cell phones in class and will answer his own during lecture!
Tests are very easy,he doesn't explain anything you have to just read the text. Always late, should not be a teacher!
Very easy. His lectures are really borring tho, and he doesnt really have control over the class. He is pretty helpful and does stress important points. I would recomend him for the GPA.
Do NOT take him! This guy is an idiot he wouldn't even change my final when I had 3 in one day. He doesn't understand anything he is terrible and should not be teaching. After this year I'm sure he'll be gone anyways b/c he's getting so many complaints.
I hated this guy but I got an A+ overall, go to class for assignments and exams and you'll get an easy A.
His lectures tend to be boring but he always relates real world examples with the topics being discussed. He's helpful if you have questions. His tests are relatively easy if you like MCQs.
Boring is an understatement. You don't know real boredome until his lectures. On the other hand, about 90% of his notes are taken straight from the con web site and so barely ever any note taking is required. Nice guy and still manages to get point across
His lectures are all over the place...and he'll repeat himself 100 times
Would not recommend....
most confusing teacher ever!read your txt then u'll get wut he's saying!do your hwk.. teacher ain't clear and just absolutely not helpful at all! i wouldn't recommend this teacher at all!
SHIZ teacher!!...doesn't know how to teach don't recommend him at all always LATE TO CLASS!..hez a pain in the ass ..if you start laughing in his class he'll threaten to move you...wow like thts gonna scare someone!!..n doesn't take any action..hez full of shiZ! dont waste ur time by takin his clas
DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASSES! I had a 8am class with him and as if it's not hard enough to stay awake you show up to the most monotonous class imaginable. Test are fair but honestly everything else is painful. His notes are all over the place and he doesn't understand them most of the time.
The worst teacher ever. You ask for help and you will still not understand. He is so boring and is hard to understand. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS
suckity suck suck
No Comments
notes written by him were suck.....and provided in an appropriate way.......too much time-wasting class disscussion
Not very clear at all, notes are all over the place. But if you read the book you will do fine.
He's not a bad teacher at all. If you pay attention in class, and participate in class and dont skip any classes. you'll at least get a B- in his course
He's not clear on giving notes, and he suck on giving exam questions. Spends too much time on the things which he wouldn't give on midterm.
His hand writing is very ugly
DONT TAKE HIS ECON1101 COURSE!!!!!WHAT HE TEACHES IN THIS COURSE IS SAME AS SFU ECON 290.......SO HARD......
Although the course is pretty hard, he teaches great! He explains things effectively except for his notes, sometimes. But he will just get u understand if u hav any questions. I had him in my econ 1150 and now i'm taking him again...he jus nice!
I took his class last sem. He is one of the easiest teacher in kwantlen. Many people in my get an A. I got an A overall without doing much work, seriously. Just go to class and you will do good
He is so unclear in explaining about the course material and he skips through a lot of pages in the book and even mock them. I won't take this teacher again period
He's a good teacher. Provides examples of material so that its easier to understand. Do questions to prepare for tests and be sure to know vocab!
He is a good teacher overall. I must say that his note is really all over the place, it's really hard to understand and follow the notes but he's improving. The test was ok, assignment was a bit confusing but dont worry, he's kind and he's helpful. If u really study, u can get A-B easily.
He is a nice teacher, and you will get a good mark if you study.
A good teacher who is fair. This class is not a class that you can expect to sit on your ass and listen and hope to do fine. Study and your are guaranteed a good mark
good teacher, he is better than other econ profs if you do your work, you will do fine.
his class is easy. if your the type that can study from a textbook then u will get an A for sure. his notes are alright but the textbook is really well written. which makes his class one of the best!
I thougt he was a great teacher that explained things really well. Also the textbook is very well written so the combination is great! If you work hard in this class you will definatly see results
He's a very good professor. You can tell he loves what he does by the way he engages himself and the class. I have nothing bad to say about him..read the textbooks and do the assignments. He definitely notices when you try!!!
Good sense of humour, interesting lectures, encourages student participation. Quizzes are hard if you don't study, but if you do the work online, tests are fairly easy. Overall, I enjoyed the class!
Horrible teacher. Gives the worst notes ever!
I say one of the worst teachers in kwantlen. He can not teach, doesnt have any teaching skills and cannot control the class. My suggestions to him would be to take some english and administration courses. dont waste your time with him.
His notes aren't very good but they aren't really necessary, one can ace a test by studying the excellent textbook alone. The online assignments are basically free marks and the multiple choice on quizes and tests is always easy. His written questions aren't too tough either and he is a very forgiving marker
I took his money and banking class, and i thought he was a really good teacher, his notes are very clear and he's always there to help. Also his class isn't that boring, if you go to class reguarly and study his notes you'll do just fine on the midterms and final, this isn't an easy course and its really easy to pull off a B if just study a bit!
Sinisa is so hot! He made me fall in love with Economics. Not only is he a nice teacher, but also very helpfull. IF YOU WANT TO PASS HIS CLASS STUDY ALL HIS NOTES.
He is an awesome teacher, if you put in the effort it will EASILY show in your mark. His midterms and exams are fair, based on notes and he is very helpful if you need extra help. If you ask him for extra pracitce material for midterms and finals that helps a lot, all you have to do is ask.
Sinisa's myEconLab program is very good as it helps people to study. Keep up
Good good instructor in the world by giving MyEconLab, hope he will introduce MyEconLab to Macroecon as well!!!
OMG this teacher is soooooo awesome....he is the best ECON professor i have had at KPU so far. Very helpful and very dedicated to its students. he is very approachable and very easy to understand. He makes Econ fun and enjoyable. Just one complain: Sinisa...write more clearely please....other than that noooo....he is a VERY good teacher.
Love Love Love this prof. Prof.makes course really easy to understand, and exams are easy. Class average is B+ to A-. I'm getting my 1st ever A+. Yea. Highly Highly recommended!!!!! I'll be taking more econ courses with the same prof. to push up my GPA!!!!
Funny, nice guy. BUT, his teaching skills are horrible. His notes are very messy and his bad grammar makes them even harder to understand. I highly recommend another teacher, or just dont bother goin to class and instead, read the text book thoroughly and make ur own quality notes
this guy isnt as good as the people reviewed him before, his teaching method is pretty boring and useless, if your good with textbook, then you have a chance otherwise your toast, his exams are hard and long so people have to rush. You have to read before class or else your not going to know whats going on in class. NOT RECOMMENDED
He started out good but eventually got disorganized and had no idea what was happening, interesting people say he is easy considering the class average was always in the 50% range. I found his exams difficult
I took him for 1150 last semester and he was very good but this semester I found him very confusing and he did not get the concepts across to the class, we have no idea what he is teaching us.
His exams are ok but they are much more difficult than his notes. it is very difficult to know what he wants or expects from us. Nice guy though.
In all fairness, his exams are ok they are based on the study guide and his notes but you have to study and attend his lectures. I got C+ 'cause i didn't study, nice guy though and very fair marker
I found Sinisa very good instructor, he is nice and funny. His notes are pretty good in that he condenses down what is important. Study the notes!they are on exam! One advice: he will tell you at the beginning of the semester to use the study guide, USE IT! I found out late in the semester that he gets a lot of this MC questions straight from there
He is the best econ teacher at KPU! I really like going to his classes, he made me fall in love with economics. He is a nice guy, VERY GENEROUS and FAIR marker!
This guy is quite awesome except his messy notes .
very funny and nice instructor! makes 3 hr classes go by quickly. His exams are very straight forward as long as you study his notes. I never use the textbook in his class. Because of him I actually like econ now.
Such a biased marker. Also gives you no part marks, on tests. Class is fairly easy, people just overhype it. Just study the text book and glance over the notes and you will do fine.
He made it such an easy class. As long as you focus on his notes and do the MC questions in the SG you will do really well. Super nice and approachable
pretty awesome teacher. i like going to his class, never boring and he is very approachable. as long as you study his notes and do mc questions u can get at least B+ .the assignments and quizzes are free marks( take him and you will know what i mean).
nice quirky guy. I disliked his teaching style, but hes not a bad proff.
exams are fair, you can tell he likes what he is doing by the way he engages the class, has sense of humor, and teaches by doing problems which are similar to exams, like that he makes concepts easier to understand than the text, hardly used text in his class
He's an alright teacher, since all econ teachers are pretty bad. Midterms are pretty fair if you study from the text book. His in class notes don't help a lot. Make sure you do the questions on the study guide, some are identical on the midterms and quizzes. Final was TOUGH.
for a beginners' Econ class, he seems to have a lot of trouble teaching it. He doesn't seem to know the material very well. If you have more in depth questions to ask him about econ, he gets mixed up really easily. The quizzes are quite hard. If you want to learn something, I would not recommend this instructor.
his notes are useless,He tells you to study from the study guide, the questions on the midterms and quiz are worded really differently then from sg. His first midterm was easy but his second was super hard that the average was 40% and he doesnt curve the mark. His examples suck, and i would not recommend him, i took Scharff and got A in Macro.
I have to say this was a difficult course. I've heard it was hard at BCIT and SFU too. The course is challenging, but he does a good job of teaching it. Prof is very approachable, and down to earth. Makes class interesting and easy to understand with real-life anecdotes and examples. Very smart guy, and helpful. Recommended for sure.
i liked him! the class was super easy and he allows plenty of time to cover the more challenging material. i didn't read the book at all, just attended ever lecture and did all the assignments and review questions. he's very kind and approachable. nice guy
very bad teacher. can't understand anything he says. too much chicken scratch on board. isn't clear with anything. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS
Very knowledgeable professor. Interesting topics regarding sustainability. Would def recommend the course. The material isn't too difficult, and he's always helpful if needed.
Not a good prof. Had to teach myself in this class. He explained examples well, but was HORRIBLE at explaining the main concept/idea. MyEconLab is why I did good in this class. Helped me teach myself using the textbook. Would not recommend this prof though, unless you want to teach yourself.
Very easygoing and knowledgeable prof. He is also very friendly. Unfortunately, I could barely understand the notes on the board and he did not fully explain each concept well. Be prepared to use your textbook as well as outside resources. Would recommend if you are already familiar with economics or are taking it online.
Do not recommend this teacher for anyone unless you want your GPA to drop.
Very good prof. Very approachable, and explain difficult terms with plain English so you understand the knowledge. Lots of helpful notes on board, as long as you come to classes, you should get a very nice grade.
Excellent professor. Highly recommended. All you need to do is paying attention in his class, doing class notes. You need to also read the textbook in advance for every class session. If you've done this two parts, I trust you will be fine.
I have taken both macro and microeconomics classes taught by him. He explained everything clearly! And his quizzes and exams are easy if you have pay attention in class. You should take his course if you want to get a higher grade (I got both of them A+):)
Do not take Macreconomics with Sinisa... take it with someone else seriously.
Very good prof. Notes are sometimes hard to read, but his lecture are very useful if you want to get a good grade in this course!
Good Prof. Would recommend him especially for those that are not majoring in Econ. Lectures and assignments were interesting. Funny guy as well.
Very good prof. I enjoyed his lectures and assignments. Content was always interesting, it was nice to see economics from a sustainability perspective for once. He's also quite funny! Definitely recommend him.
Great professor, extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
He is so nice to every students. If you have any question he is willing to help you. There are some quizzes and 2 mt exams during one semester. It's not that difficult but not easy either.
Sinisa is very nice to student. However, his notes are messy and didn't clarify the concepts. He seems to read out the notes he gave and jump to any slides he wants. It is so confused even I spent a lot of time to read his notes and try to make an overview outline. I took my micro with Nancy. it was so organized and I would recommend Nancy.
As long as you pre-read before class, takes notes during, study afterwards, it is not hard to get a good mark. I like how he provides life examples when he discusses major concepts.
Great prof! Clear and helpful lectures. You know exactly what you are getting from him. A few quizzes and 2 midterms that are all pretty straightforward.
He's a nice prof but I like things organized. His notes are messy so it becomes harder to understand while studying. I rely on the book instead. I don't think I would take him again. I can see why others like him though.
-very approachable and kind teacher -notes are messy and disorganized (hard to understand sometimes for reviewing after class); explanations are fine -exams are okay -DOES NOT do any reviews before midterms and final which could have helped ALOT of students -DONT take him if ECON IS NOT UR SUBJECT
He's really friendly and approachable, but all the negative comments below are true. Class average for exams was a "C" or below for both classes he taught.
Sinisa was one of the worst profs I've had at KPU. His lectures are very unclear and talks/writes very messily. This class is already really tough and he doesn't do a good job helping students through it. That being said, if you're willing to pump heavy hours in and teach yourself/do practice Q's it's definitely possible to walk away with an A(ish)
I got an A- in Sinisa's class. It was a really good class, he explained everything in great detail with time for people to ask questions, as well as sheets he would literally give you to do questions in class. Tests had the usual sort of questions, you get what you put in. If you can't read cursive handwriting though, you will need to learn how
Sinisa "The Graphmaster" Vujovic
If you show up and pay attention it's an easy A. Just follow along and write down what ever he writes. Textbook and study guide is not really needed, notes you copied down is the best study material. Mid terms and quizzes are really easy. Posts practice midterms online with answers and the questions on the real test are nearly identical or similar
great
By far the easiest professor I have ever had. I've taken Micro years ago and received a C- and when I took it with him I got an A. He's very easy, the homework is straight forward and he replies very quickly to emails and forum posts. He also is very understanding and his practice midterm exams are identical to the actual midterms. Really easy!
Does not respond to emails. does not post assignments until the week is almost over. Does not post when he says he will. If you can get him one on one, and thats a big IF he will explain better than in lecture. His lecture is written on his sons little art easel, with white board markers on paper. Very pixelated and hard to read and see.
dont reccomend him, at all. He literally makes the concepts harder than they are. I took him because of the reviews -the reviews are a lie! He tests you on material that isnt on MyEconLab, and the "so called practice tests" he gives literally couple of days before the exam, are much harder, and are nothing like the exam. he doesnt reply to emails
Don't take his class if its online. You will have to learn everything on your own. He sometimes reply to emails, posts assignments so late you hardly have time to work on it, lectures are pretty much useless, changes due dates without properly communicating, and it seems like he throws everything together at the last minute. Nice guy though.
He's very unorganized and extremely confusing. The way he explains the concepts are much more confusing than what the textbook explains. His tests and midterms are nothing similar to the assignments he gives on MyEconLab, and he gives the practice tests a few days before the exam. His moodle set-up is extremely unorganized. Don't take him online.
Terrible professor. Do not take. He is confusing in lectures, doesnt answer emails, all around bad teacher. Be prepared to teach yourself. Would not take again.
My opinion about this prof and the situation I faced are totally the same as the person who put 5.0 for quality lately. Though I can't deny that he sometimes takes too long to reply or post assignments, I think that's cuz he makes a lot of effort on preparing materials that are adjusted to each class's understanding level. In short, he's the best.
MUST take econ w/Sinisa. 80% tests 20% assgn If u do readings and attend class u can take tests without studying b/c his teachings are embedded in ur head. He teaches concepts in ways which guarantees an A level understnding Choice of text is great b/c it uses simple language so it is easy to understnd Never written a review but he deserved it.
He tries his best to engage w/ students and has a strong background in economics. However, online teaching is very difficult for him. Lectures consisted of his webcam showing a whiteboard: sloppy, pixilated & hard to follow. His moodle is poorly organized and confusing. He is a real nice guy, but all teachers should've learned to adapt to online.
Very nice professor. Is a fair grader and helps students out when he can. Marks for class participation. Is a good teacher. Tests are slightly harder than the assignments, so you should study for the tests.
He is very knowledgeable and very caring. However, his lectures are a bit confusing. I had to learn from outside sources.
I like professor Sinisa. He is very knowledgeable and his pre-lecture video is good for basic understanding, so make sure to watch it and read textbook. He is very accessible via email. He is willing to help me with further Economic courses direction. However, be aware that he is a little bit messy with course organization and deadlines.
As long as you follow his instruction about process of his teaching ( read textbook --> watch pre-lecture videos --> ask question --> attend class), you will be good. His test is fair based on his lecture and some concept explanation from the textbook). High accessible via email.
Good professor, knowledgeable and helpful if you approach to him. He teaches in-person is better than online class.
Very knowledgeable and caring professor!
Sinisa demonstrates very strong knowledge on macroeconomics, and he encourages participation during classes. He gives practice quizzes for his term tests, which helps a lot! He is often available in his office and was ready to help me with any questions. However, adapting online seems to be his weakness, so take in-person classes with him instead!
Don't recommend this prof for anyone taking intro to ECON, his lectures are extremely confusing & makes the course harder than it needs to be. The class started off with around 30 people but now only 12 people are left due to his atrocious teaching. He makes the class feel dumb by saying we have the lowest midterm average throughout his 20 years...
His class is so confusing.
Don't expect an A in this class. C or above is enough if u practice Moodle assignments and read chapters from textbook. Then you will be good for midterms and final exam cuz the concept is familiar from practices. Ensure to earn points on calculation parts. Participation by answering questions earns marks. Good prof and always answers all concerns
Professor Sinisa is knowledgeable and encourages participation. His pre-lecture videos and textbook are helpful, but the lectures can be confusing. I found unstuck AI and ChatGPT useful for test prep. Overall, a good class if you stay organized.
The online macroeconomic course is very confusing, but he provides good lecture videos to watch on your own time. If you fall behind in the beginning, it's hard to bounce back. Don't recommend taking it online.
