She had a lot of stuff I enjoy reading.

I took her for a summer session..she is difficult. But you gotta be focused and do ya thang. You MUST READ and SHOW UP ON TIME! You can miss 3 days excused and 3 unexcused, I think...But if you miss too many days she will drop that ass from the class! Basically follow her rules I got an A!

Great teacher. Know how to write and follow directions and you will pass. You have to earn your grade.

I took Professor Dillon a year ago for English 28. For those of you that need to take this class. I would highly recommend her. There is a lot of writing, and you have to do online labs. At the end you feel more confident about your writing.

I knew from the previous reviews that this class would not be a walk in the park but now that I've made it through IT WAS! she gets straight to the point, you do your work and you'll pass. any questions you have you can text her or email her and she responds within hours. she's tough but you actually learn lots of things from her.

I started the class thinking I wasn't going to pass, because of all the work but she was very helpful. I took it this pass winter online it went by really fast. she works really fast and is very serious about grammar and writing essays correctly.

This teacher is very friendly. There was a lot of work given but we had tons of time to complete it. The class itself really helped me with my writing. I saw an improvement after every assignment. She extended the assignments multiple times and you don't get points off for late work. I would recommend this professor and I would take her class again

Professor Dillon was very nice and helpful.

I took her Online winter course and still have not recieved my final grade, but I already know that she was an excellent instructor, there is lots of reading, but all the readings were not boring. However, she is very strict on grammar, and her instructions might be a little bit vague but she responds to emails quickly so it makes up for that.

I loved her! had for an online course and she would grade papers fast, she was fair. and she also gave lots of feedback of what to do and not to do. Very trendy things to read, it was a lot of reading but I was very interested.

I can say that she has a lot of experience and patience with all of her students. She pushes for our own benefit. Very flexible in her way of teaching and deadlines.

She is a marvelous professor. She really cares for the success of her students. That is really rare to find. Professor Dillon will give you many chances to pass her class. Don't feel discouraged when you get a bad grade on a paper. She will let you redo them until you get them correct and her feedback is outstanding. I have learned so much.

Took Ms dillon for fall. Really nice and straightforward teacher. All you have to do is show up and try your best and she'll forsure pass you. Attendance is a big part of the class, she will drop you!

Professor Dillon class is designed for students to critically think . Her class isn't the average English class and students will leave her class with deeper understanding of writing .

Dillon is the true definition of a teacher because she wants to see all of her students grow regardless of what is going on outside of school. Still, she understands that students are humans, but still takes that extra step to see us accomplish what's expected in her classroom.

Tough class with lots of reading, but she's pretty lenient if you're struggling and wants you to succeed.

The class opened my mind to understand the meaning behind small things in life. Such as a bag of chips. I learned the chips represented, desire, consumerism, and a big brand name company. I saw that in society today, we as the proletariat, must work for our happiness in life. I learned that I need to make myself happy rather than material.

I had a good time with the class and every grade that was graded was tough but I really did have to try and also allows you to have great feed back after grading papers. I will love to have this professor once again.

MS. Dillion is pretty easy to pass IF you understand he requirements to the papers you need to write. This isn't throwing a couple paragraphs and hoping they work, no, you need to understand words you may have never seen so bring a dictionary for sure! Other than that you just need to read her assigned texts and you're good!

Don't be late and don't miss class. If you are late you can't make up the quizzes. Just do what's asked of you and you will be fine.

Professor Dillon is a great interpreter of the subject of English and her ability to carry every body alone with interest in making sure that he students improve is amazing. I will recommend her for my friends. Keep it up Prof. Thank you for making me a better writer.

Her class makes you really understand the readings. There is 3 papers you do for her class. The way she grades is tough but it really helps you for later on in life. I really enjoyed her class. take her class

I personally think she grades papers a little too tough. And the material that we read makes you think, but was pretty dark.

Covers inequality and oppression frequently, she's accurate to her syllabus, follow it and you should pass along with doing a lot of reading and research.

lectures great within the course and gives depth about many things in life easy to contact and is very lenient with late work my only complaint is that she requires 3-4 print copies of any essay turned in from brain storm sketch to final product you can also re-submit essays for a higher grade I really recommend her she's fair and easy

Red Hot. I love Professor Dillon. Shes caring, encouraging, and not to difficult. She takes time to give feedback on whatever you have questions about. You have to read a lot but it pays off. I really enjoyed this course with S. Dillon and will recommend it to others

However, if you are sensitive to issues such as race, gender and or class she is not for you. She provides great feed back and is very accessible outside of class. I got an A (fall2017) It is English 103 so of course there are various readings but, she gives extensions. The weekly quizes are just 5 questions. She extends deadlines on the papers and allows rewriting. Interesting discussions on history, race and the current broken justice system. May appear as a heavy course but she makes it easy.

The discussions are interesting and you get to speak your mind which makes the discussions effortless to do and there's no complicated guidelines for each discussion, which is refreshing. There are workbook assignments to be turned in and written assignments, but nothing too bad.

Professor Dillon is a great teacher I recommend taking her class to learn more about writing for literature. She is straight by the book with a little lead way, but over all she works with you to help you to succeed. Shes very good in returning text messages almost immediately. Shes funny and she has a great sense of humor.

I love that she gives you feedback right away and gives you extended time to do assignments during the semester the only time she dont extend assignments is the last two weeks of the semester. She is caring & funny. If you do all the assignments or at least take advantage to work harder on your work with the extension you will pass.

I was overwhelmed with the papers but got an A in the class, & missed days. Just make sure you go to office hours when needed, tutoring, and communicate with her. Get your work in, she is very understanding but please do not take advantage of her shes great professor, & my fav English professor at Southwest!

Great teacher. Turn in good work, if you receive a distasteful grade communicate with her and you might be able to re do it. Read write go to tutoring and you will pass maybe even with an A.

She is very clear and gives good feed back. just make those changes to your papers and she will notice! HW is super easy (10 pages in total). Took her class online and took up most of my nights mon-Thurs trying to finish the work. It feels like alot but it's nothing you cant handle. Takes forever to reply to emails so get started on papers asap

She is a great teacher with a lot to offer aside from just a regular english class. She will make you improve and always makes sure you understand all of the readings

Always give extra time on essays

Great teacher as long as you follow what shes teaching and do your work you should be able to pass the class. She prioritizes on helping you improve and please please proofread!!!!!! Grammar mistakes are big in this class. Overall great class and I would recommended it to someone else.

Mrs. Dillon is super nice and super willing to help anyone. She's super lenient with deadlines and has office hours after class to help you. If you love English, this class will be a breeze. Otherwise, you may struggle a little bit, but Dillon is the best professor to push you through to pass and get credit.

STICK TO THAT! make sure everything is grammar free! final is an essay on canvas and timed! has you compare two different articles that are VERY different and find relationship b/w them

Professor Dillon has you read a lot but there are no tests where you have to prove you've read stuff plus the class is online so you always have time to do something you missed. There are two tutors for the class so it's easy to get help with the papers and they know what the teacher is looking for. Dillon responds quickly to messages.
