Since he is from a foreign country, he has a very THICK accent! it was very hard for me to understand. On the bright side, the ppt he sends online are the exact same, when going over in class. Test are very easy its the exact material you learn in the lecture.

I liked how you would sometimes relate real life experinces with the material we were learning to help us understand.

Dr. Siva does have great strengths but I couldn't ask a question in hisclass. But other than minor things his class can be easy to follow.

He really is a good professor. He wants everyone to succeed and is eager to help. The work is easy to understand once it is broken down.
I enjoyed the class but sometimes its was not clear of what he wanted. after going to his office he clearly explains everything.
English is not your first language. So understand that yopu must talk slow and speak clear. that was a major issue for me. in addition to you make students uncomfortable when asking questions in class.

Dr P was the type of professor that liked things a certain way. It's unacceptable to take short cuts if he specifically asked for it to be a certain way. Sometimes assignments were unclear but after going to his office and asking questions, I had a better understanding. -A.J

The professor would blame the class as to why we are behind. But to my understanding the professor is the one teaching the class not the students.
Dr. P was ok. He ran the class in a professional manner with no shortcuts and he meant what he said. I just think he should have explained things better whenever you asked a question in class other than being sarcastic.
Overall he was an alrite teacher, its just some things he said you couldn't understand clearly and he graded pretty strictly.

I felt that the class was very challenging. It was hard to understand him at times because of his accent. I don't know if i would attend his class again. you have to be prepared for it. If you do take the class you should definitely use the office hours he provides.

Dr. P needs to learn to watch what he says to his students and also remember that his english isn't strong and students can't understand him. One positive thing is Dr.P sticks with his word and grades everybody the same.

He is very helpful.Just make sure you come to calss AND SUBMIT ALL WORK ON TIME.If you go to his office during office hours ,he will help you .He loves teaching this class.Very good

Dr. P is verg sassy. He talks a lot and goes to fast to take notes. I showed up to get the work and I passed. Just do the work exactly like he wants it and study the multiple choice work given because it is exactly like the test. I bought a textbook but it wasn't needed. Good luck
He's a good teacher. As long as you put forth effort and go to his office hours he will help you. He will not just give you the grade you do have to work for it but he give you chances to improve.
Dr. P. Is very sassy in class & complains a lot. But is completely caring & will work with you if you go to his office hours. He is very fast with notes. He can very annoying if you have anger issues. The homework is usually the test. You don't need a textbook because it's in the library for free.
He talks to his students like they are children. It goes on about unnecessary things not related to the school work. He goes on about the degree he has and what you are trying to achieve. You do not need textbook. Attend class and be there on time. Hes boring but if you do the work exactly how he wants you will pass. Same info exactly on test.
Heavy Foreign accent makes him difficult to understand. He is very cocky and gloats about his accomplishments rather than making sure we actually understand. When answering questions he can be very sarcastic and usually never answers the question. He usually has students turn in assignments in his office rather than in class or online.
Dr. P can be very rude and gloaty at times. Be prepared to not really learn anything about science in this class. Prior knowledge from other science classes was really helpful. Hell constantly talk about his daughter and his grandfathers school and how we need him (not the other way around). Good luck. The class is pretty easy.
Whatever you can do try to get out of his class. No matter what you do he will always find a problem with it. Not much teaching, blames everything on the student, very rude. The only thing you can get out of this class is remembering who in his family has done anything. Waste of my time.
There is a thin line between confidence & arrogance & Dr. Param crosses it. He is the rudest prof. Ive ever come across. He speaks to you like youre dumb & never answers your questions without belittling you. He doesnt explain anything he teaches b/c he claims you should know it already. Terrible teaching methods. Switch classes ASAP.
Honestly hes a good teacher if you do your part. Yes he lectures heavy and can grade heavy as well. He gives you specific details on how he wants the work to be done. Doing his work does take time. But he gives you more than enough time to do it. On the bright side he gives you bonus points toward your final grade and redos on assignments & exams.
Some papers are more important than others and even if you do every paper if even one goes missing then it is never his fault. He does not accept late work when he asks for it that is it. He will not ask again and if you did not know about an assignment then that's on you and not him for announcing you have hw during the last nanoseconds of class
Dr. P isnt a bad teacher its just hard to understand what he is saying sometimes. He does grade a little hard but the class isnt too hard to where you can just fail it. He let us redo some assignments we did bad on. The thing that I really hate about his class is that a 90% is a B and an 80% is a C in his grade book.
For some odd reason they had him teaching FYE but that was not his forte. He never clearly taught us anything. He was often very rude and hard to understand. He doesnt not accept late work but overall his assignments were easy. Also, sometimes he can be very strict about attendance.
I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy. This teacher does not care about his students. He never had his book. We only had 2 tests, 5 assignments and a final; he dropped the 3rd test which in my opinion would have helped alot of students that were in danger of failing. DO NOT TAKE HIM!
where do i even begin? He is the worst prof i have ever had. Do not take his class-he would rather see his students fail than succeed. He is rude, belittling, arrogant, and terrible at technology. He laughs at you when you don't understand the material. I wish i could get a refund for this class. Listen to the reviews, save your money.
To say he was the worst teacher/professor is not doing him justice. In saying that, he is quite literally the worst I have ever had. He is extremely arrogant and unhelpful. If you ask him a question rather than him answering the question, he'll question your intelligence. He'll never take responsibility. On top of that, his accent is STRONG.
I noticed that everyone who had a problem with him either never came to class or came to class and was disrespectful. I adore Dr P. Don't try to be a cool kid, actually care, try, ask questions and you will pass. Easiest A I ever received. He also was available at any time of the day or night when I needed help. He just gets a bad rap. Makes me sad

My experience as his student was one of worst I've ever had. He is rude, unlikable, and he thinks he knows everything. I asked him specifically about an assignment and what I did wrong then he started laughing. He is disrespectful and many others can agree.
Seeing these awful reviews is disappointing. Show up on time (this is how the 'real world' works), ask questions when you don't understand (before work is due & not after), be respectful, do the work, pay attention, take notes (some lecture info is on test), & study. Plus he gives extra credit. You're not entitled to have grades handed to you.
This professor will treat you as if you are inferior to him. He will only answer questions HE feels is necessary, otherwise you will be laughed at and ignored . His grading is absurd. His accent makes it hard to understand key terms and he does NOT repeat himself. Don't take this class unless you are a fast typer, if not, expect a C at best.
