By far the greatest psychology professor I ever had at Ryerson! ABSOLUTELY!!! Dances and jumps around, wears the same black clothes with armpits showing, drinks coffee with 6 packs of sugar, has a smoke with students! He's a true psychology prof!!!

Really Great guy. Sort of easy going. Teaches very well and makes the concepts crystal clear. You will never feel bored in his class. Be prepared to do lots of reading in psychology and he also gives questions on tests that are only from lecture notes

Wonderful prof. Very patient and helpful during office hours. Very approachable. If you have a problem, you can freely talk to him and he will explain you the concepts again. Very Fair tests. Other profs should learn to be as honest and dedicated as him

Psychology of Thinking was not the easiest course ever but he made it great. The course has some overlap with philosophy and that part was pretty boring. Good prof. Interested in what he does and gives interesting lectures

Very Very good professor, I wouldn't say he's easy. It's hard to get an "A" but easy to get "B" range marks as long as you put some effort. He marks very reasonably on the assignment writing part, but multiple choice tests can be trick

Amazing Professor, really enjoyed his class, still laugh about some of the stories related to class topics he told. He has an amazing way of explaining difficult concepts relating them to everyday life in an amusing way, these concepts stick with you.

Great prof! Awesome Lectures! First test was really easy but the second was pretty tough. Essay marking is fairly good. Teaches with an enthusiastic attitude. Not one of those stuck up dry Aliens one usually encounters as professors.

Being a sincere, open minded, funny and STRANGE professor, Sohail knows how to keep your interest even though the course itself is a bore. Just try to see professor Sohail stand still or stop yelling during class and it would be a first. Good professor.

Dr. Rashid is one of the best professors I have had the fortune of taking a course with. He inspired me and got me interested in Psychology. I would strongly recommend his classes to anyone. You will laugh a lot and enjoy too. He is very flexible, helpful, and accomodating to his students. You rarely find such good profs in a University setting.

Awesome professor! Very helpful - he's good at taking complex concepts and explaining them in layman terms. In fact, this course was what inspired me to take psychology as a major. He's really that awesome. His stories often serve as humourous examples, and he loves cats.

Rashid is, by far, the best professor I've ever had! So clear, so full of energy, so interested in the teaching material, that I considered it a Sin to miss his class. He's The best at what he does, and that's Making Psych Fun, even for us lowly engineers.

Explains things in his own words, so that you'll understand in your own words. He is amazingly clear and focused for someone so expressive. And interesting.

this prof is so energetic it's great. i loved his class. the course is very interesting and he does a great job of teaching the material. DO NOT get turned off after your first class with him, he may seem a little weird with some of his "moments", and he may mumble at times, but he's truly one of a kind. EXTREMELY helpful outside of class.

Excellent professor! He exuberates such energy and passion in his lectures and work that you can't help but absorb some of it yourself. Very approachable and accomodating, would even let us pick test dates and deadlines. And don't worry, mild crazyness is the mark of a true genious.

Because of him I graduated with a degree from Psychology from a different University. I was his student couple years back when I attended Ryerson as a Cont Ed student. I owe him a lot. He's the reason I became a PSYCH major. He will make everything easy to understand and he is really fair and caring for his students. Amazing. Just amazing.

Fair marking on the term paper. Kind, helpful, funny as hell, makes lecture exciting. He explains great the stuff on Freud and he knows a lot about personality psychology. Study hard and you're set to do well with this man.

he's a really good prof. but he gets a little excited when he's teaching. he usually goes on these rants and his voice will go really high pitched and start speaking very quickly. it doesn't get in the way of teaching, its just funny.

He is SO GREAT!!!! He is one of if not the best prof Ryerson has to offer. I have taken several of his classes and he makes everything so clear and he does everything he can to help. I remember almost everything he talked about because he is so engaging.

It's a bit hard to get an A but a really great prof nonetheless. I studied my a$$ off and ended up with B+ but if you take his section, it is highly likely that you will fall in love with psychology. His passion for the subject rubs off on students, and his spirit and enthusiasm while teaching is unparalleled. Very very helpful person.

Very helpful and approachable - ask him questions and he will certainly help you out. Exams are difficult but read the text and pay attention to his lecture notes, this will help!

Best professor in Ryerson. I took intro to psychology with him. Cons: Wish there was more office hours. Pros: very helpful and clear.

I got a C+ in intro to psychology. And i'm pissed at the mark. So I am trying to think really hard about points to complain about; but unforetunately, he's a great professor, and i got nothing. If you attend ALL lectures, and study the text carefully, you'll get A+. he's very helpful and educated

This was my first university prof at the fire college and I didn't know what to make of his eccentric style of teaching. As a firefighter I did not have a kean interest in psych but that changed in the first few mins into his lecture.I have also developed a love for cats.
