The best professor in the school. He explains it well and its a fun class
Work hard do great. If you're not find of thinking DON'T sign up
Awesome! Have to put in the effort but you'll learn alot.
nice professor....one of my favorites
he is a very cold hearted man!
He explains well. Have to work a lot, but it pays
He's the worst. No respect to anyone
Very hard, but very good at what he does
Work hard, no guarantee that U do well. All depends on the final(very hard)
very fair, like a grandfather, kind and will try to help u as much as he can
Great learning experience! Do the homeworks and you'll be fine!
Great guy. Will help you if you ask.
The worst professor for LAW 101 -- If you are planning to take LAW takeprof Fox
A very good prof.- if u pay attention and do hw u can do really good
Do the HW and pay attention in class and it will be an easy ride
Know before class that only two things can be cetain in life, death and taxes.
He's tough but he's worth it. Learned a lot and gained a lot of respect for him

He has knowledge on the subject and he is very helpful with the students.
A good professor. He teaches you alot. May seem tough but really nice. take him
the best prof., very helpful
seems tough, but a nice guy, u'll learn a lot, just do HW & u'll be ok
Tends to intimidate pple in the beg, however, very helpful and interesting
very easy, read the book, do the hw
explains very well, but is hard though. if u want to do a lot of work take him.
He is very knowledgeable you will definately have to work and get on his good side from the start.
You have to get on his good side by trying really hard to do well on the test and do your HW right. It's not difficult if you're a good student. You do have to read each chapter like 10 times to understand it fully.
He is a great teacher, but you have to study do homework and read chapter to pass class. This is a very interesting class, if you pass the first test you pass the class, meaning the tests get harder as they come.
He is a fantastic law professor. There is a lot of homework though. The tests are not difficult if you show up to class.
He's a very bright man. You learn a lot in his class. Gives a lot of HW. Exams are not that hard if you show up to class.
Seems very tough in the beginning of class but he is a really nice man. Cares about the class doing well and teaches good. ALot of homework but it pays off when you take the exam. Learned alot and got an A!
He is a great professor. Knows the subject really well. Do homework and you'll be fine. Easy grader. Very helpful. Exams are fair. Take him if you can.
very experienced in his subject, great professor.
I LOVE HIM!!! He is the best I have ever had! I really enjoy the class! He is terrific! I did bad on the midterm, but he gave me a chance. He is awesome, and sees people through. Definitely take him!
This course isnt easy. he makes u do a lota work but its worth it. He knows what hes talkin about. be prepared to be called on in class to answer the case studies.
Business law is jus hard man. no matter what teacher u have. This guy really knows what hes talkin about. Very helpful and clear. A lota HW...hardd exams
hes not easy...makes u work...but he knows what he's talkin about...been teachin at pace for 38 years
dont be intimidated by him hes a good person and a great professor..really cares about the students
He is very intimidating but a great teacher He's very fair and you will be OK as long as you do your work. At least you're guaranteed to learn something in this class

good professor...hard subject no matter who u have
In the beginning he may seem intimidating but he is an amazing teacher. when you get out of class you feel like you learned something! he is very helpful as long as you ask for help. the course is quite difficult, but as long as you do your work you'll be fine... he is a great teacher!!
You will learn to LOVE him! He'll scare you at first cuz you wont know what to expect and he is rather intimidating, but he rocks! Knows his stuff and is willing to help you! Smart man, and really cool! I would take him. Dont shy away, speak up and get involved! You'll do fine! I LOVE him!
obviously he wrote ALL of these comments himself like every other lame Pace professor - dont believe them - he is horrible. DO yourself a favor and take someone else.
Great professor. Hard, but you will learn.
This professor knows his material. However he is extremely intimidating and does not really teach the material.
Very intimidating, scares you a bit in the beginning. By the end of the semester he will grow on you a little. Three exams, one paper, and hw. Expects you to know every side of law when he calls on you to answer questions. Take at your own risk.
VERY ARROGANT AND CONDESCENDING. TOTALLY UNHELPFUL!!! PICKS PERSONAL CONFLICTS WITH STUDENTS WHOSE ETHNIC BACKGROUND RUBS HIM THE WRONG WAY. LAZY AND UNHELPFUL. ALTHOUGH HE PROVIDES HIS OFFICE PHONE#, HE NEVER TAKES HIS CALLS NOR DOES HE RETURN THEM. HIS SECRETARY IS RUDE. IF HE PERSONALLY DISLIKES YOU, HE WILL TRY TO PROVOKE YOU WITH INSULTS
Good prof. Strict, demanding... even if you screw up in the beginning, he's willing to help you if you can help yourself, so I guess that mean's he's fair.
This is a difficult topic not to mention that u must teach yourself;he reads from book.Very lazy;does not return calls.Arrogant, sarcastic and nasty.Multiple choice quiz every meeting + midterm + final. He insults students whom he personally has taken a disliking to. Horrible person...avoid him.
Tough professor. Very demanding with work and thinking "outside" of the textbook. He gets confusing at times and will have an intimidating attitude. Try not to rub him the wrong way and do your work as expected. Keep up with the readings and ask questions if you need to! Take him, but be warned that he is a challenge.
professor levine is a clear speaker and is very knowledgeable on the topic. is very intimidating, but if you do your work and study you will do fine. you have to do a 10 page law term paper which you will have to present.
really great teacher. still a lawyer. knows what he is talking about. great deal of work, but it pays off. you will know business law like none other after you get out of his class if you study well. he won't let you slide with anything, so don't pull any fast ones. highly recommended though.
these raters are nerds and losers.... he can't be worse... does not teach --no notes no lesson just the answers to the 15 short essays due every week!!--- he doesnt care bout ne one, just his paycheck--- he knows the material very well but you wont... if you are a nerd and dont mind reading like 12 chapters and alottt of hw then this guy is all you
He is one of the best teachers at Pace. He is so knowledgable and if you use ur time effectively, he will make sure you do well. and he gives a lot of work but it is for your own good. rust me, best professor if you want to learn.
Prof. LeVine is tough, but very good. His classes are not hard. Lot's of hw, but he never grades it, so you don't really have to chew the book to do it. The exams are ok.
Excellent professor and person. I took his class fall 05 and i still talk to him and see him on occassions. He is tough, makes you study like hell, but it pays off in the end. Trust me you will not forget his class nor him. Just read the book and do the questions. There's no point of taking anyone else but him for Law 101. Basics are important.
Great Professor, he has the theory down but even better, he has 50 years of experience to bring in to the classroom. He is tough but he'll make you think rather than just tell you the answer. Do all the HW. Give him a good legal argument to any question and he’ll give you credit, even if your answer is not completely right!
15 questions/one chapter due from the text each week. READ THEM. then he goes over them in class. theres a midterm, which he is VERY fair about... a research paper which will cause u a little stres... but this IS college and it IS an honors course... and then a final. for an honors class, i would say it really wasnt that bad.
BEST PROFESSOR EVER! VERY INTERESTING COURSE
this guy knows his stuff.. soooooooo much work.. avoid him if your not planning to become a lawyer! .. he hardly hands back graded work.
Prof. Levine is a great professor in Lubin and makes you think. The midterm and essays are not so easy. He will always give you credit if you do not make the right judgment for the cases, but a logical explanation of it.
Very clear about whats going to be on the test and how to complete it properly. Follows outline stricly so you know exactly whats going to be due and when. Just one homework assignment due every week and 3 tests all semester. You have to attend class but don't have to take notes because everything is in the book. He'll tell you what you need.

hes such a nice man. gives one hw assignment everyweek..but its not graded. u must read a chapter a week to understand the material and to do the hw. he talks to u like a lawer questions his witnesses but he does it to help u. hes so nice n helpful.
Great professor! He's available for extra help if you need it. yes, the class is a lot of work but you will learn a lot too. read the material and make sure you UNDERSTAND! i did all the hw's, got an 85 on the 1st test, 90 on the 2nd.. didnt do so well on the final and got an A-. take him if you're interested in law.
Excellent professor. Really knows his subject. Very clear and forces you to learn. Very interesting and helpful outside the classroom. Take him for law 101. I did well on the first exam, terrible on the second and did well on the final and got an A.
He's ok. Very nasty when you ask him simple questions, not personable at times, and very condescending. Very lawyer-like approach, tests were easy though, but the multiple choice will you screw your grade at times. Essay questions he grades unfairly at times. He's graded too high here in my opinion, I give him a C-.
Very strict with attendance, can be difficult at times, but you have to take the time to review what he says in class on your own to do well in class...i got a B when i thought i was going to get a D for sure...be prepared and ready, good teacher if you pay attention
Attendence is a must, and so is doing the homework. He randomly calls on people in class to read the homework questions & their answer, which can be terrifying at times. But he such a great teacher, I learned so much from this class, and would definitely take him again. He is VERY fair, and witty as well. Take him if you want to learn.
this guy is VERY intimidating. he yells a lot to make u understand. hes very hard and his tests are exactly from the notes and text book. when he speaks its very hard to understand because he speaks very fast and doesnt slow down. he is available for help all the time. but hes very hard.
One of the best professors at Pace. You'll definitely learn from him, he's experienced in his field & very knowledgable. Attendance is mandatory, homework due every Monday, three tests, & you get randomly called on atleast once to answer the homework questions out loud. Definitely worth taking.
Ok id seriously thought id get a C in his class and I actually ended up getting an A..I got a 90 on the first test, 74 on the second test...and i honestly have no idea how i did in the final but i doubt if it was good enough to be A level...but i did all my hw though...so get fair grades and do all your hw and you'll do well
Takes law too seriously. thinks everyone is going to law school and needs to take a chill pill. hes intimidating. hw due each monday, 15 questions from the chapters. takes 3 hours to do, maybe more. 3 exams and you get called on to do five of the questions. you better know what your talking about or youll get it!
The best and most dedicated professor I have ever been taught by. Strictly follows his syllabus and makes sure everyone understands. Besides, he is a fair grader. I strongly recommend.
It is true that he is strict.. but this actually helped me a lot. his class is not as hard as everyone says it is.. its actually fun. as long as the chapters are read, this class is a piece of cake. He may be intimidating, but he is actually helping you. strongly reccommend.
The guy is a legend. one of the most experienced professors at Pace!..Really funny and a nice guy. He may seem intimidating at first, but his class is def worth taking. The class is alot of work but dont be afraid of a lil work. Remember, its college not preschool. you are guaranteed to learn from this class..."In God we trust, all others pay cash!"
If you think that he takes law too seriously, guess what?...He was a lawyer for 50 years!!!!!...Of course hes gonna take law seriously...Dont be a lazy idiot and do some work. He is one of the best professors at pace by far. Man up and take this class. There is a lot of work but he is a very very lenient grader. You are guaranteed to learn alot!
One of the best profs at the school, and I really learned a lot about the subject. Not the easiest class in the world, but isn't a difficult grader whatsoever. The HWs are a mandatory and are extremely annoying. The tests are fairly easy. Intimidating at 1st, but really is a nice guy. All in all great prof, but expect to work.
He is a great teacher. He assigns homework every week, so there is a lot of work to do. His tests are not that easy, so studying is a must. Don't fret because he is not a hard grader. Good Luck
At first, he comes off as very intimidating. But, I have learned a lot through his strict/disciplined style of teaching and I came to like him by the end of semester. H.W.'s are very time consuming. Expect to spend 2-3 hours a week on case problems. Very liberal grader.
If you have accomodations, you should definitely take his class. I have an auditory processing and an ADHD problem and he did everything he could to help me. He's so intelligent and so good at what he does. I have his final tomorrow morning and I learned so much from his class. I will miss this class more than any class I've ever taken at Pace.
Le Vine is pushing 80 years old and is still at the top of his game however like most professors his age, he fails to realize the students are NEW to law. Case hw every week is tedious. Exams are fair.Dont bother talking to him because he pulls the intimidation card and makes you feel like you are an idiot. There are better law professors out there
First off, this guy is a lawyer so keep that in mind. With that being said, he is a hard ass. He demands you participate, do your homework, and you almost feel scared to not come to class or bring your homework. Overall, he pushes you to do good with is basically the best thing you can want from a teacher, so all in all if you try you will do good.
One of the coolest guys I have ever met. He is so professional and has so many cool stories he accumulated over the years as a real lawyer. You will learn a lot in class but be prepared to work. Reading and Writing skills required...but thats just law.
HE'S AN AWESOME PROFESSOR! Sparked my interest Law! He's really great, he's helpful, clear + interesting. He may pick on you but its only so you get it, like you can tell he just wants you to do well. He gives HW every week, just come prepared. Test arent hard. You won't regret it, definitely one of great professors left at Pace.
He is a great professor! He made a boring class somewhat enjoyable. He's really great, he's helpful, clear + interesting. He may pick on you but its only so you to understand the material. He gives HW every week, just come prepared. Test are somewhat hard. One of best professors at Pace.
Very hard tests if you don’t know the material inside out. Case homework EVERY CLASS, not to mention the class was at 8am and he sometimes started 7 50. Very knowledgeable professor, explains very well but most of the material you learn from the book ($450 may I add), and doing the cases alone. I would not recommend this class.
