She is a young professor who listens to the concersn of students. She makes herself availble, even give her Telephone # to call her before the exams.The material is not that hard, very similar to Fin 3000. Very nice lady.

She is a very nice lady. She is young, so she still understands the stresses of college students. She makes herself very available for students and will do anything to help you. She is very smart and you can tell she knows what shes talking about.

You know how u always want professor who gives u every chance to earn A n @ the same time teach u n make u learn? Well this lady does both + provide friendly atmosphere to make learning n education work. If u took Prof Hessel for FIN 3000, just picture him without his sense of humor. That is her.

Prof. Hazakira is one of the best professors at Baruch. She thouroghly understands the subject and is very good at explaning it. Does a great job explaining how and when the techniques are used the real world. Oh, one more thing, She's GORGEOUS!!

EASY FIRST EXAM, THE 2nd MIDTERM, AND THE FINAL HOWEVER WAS MORE DIFFICULT. SHE EXPLAINS STUFF VERY CLEARLY, BUT SHE TEST US ON CONCEPTS NOT COVERED IN CLASS BUT ALL THE EXAMPLES DONE IN CLASS IS SIMILAR TO WHAT IS ON THE EXAMS.

This professor demands a lot of work, 1st test was so easy, 2 test not so easy, final was difficult. She is a very nice person and will help her students

She speaks very fast, but she is very patient and trying to help her students as much as she can. Her final is pretty hard. The only advice is to prepare well for her test.

She gets really dull as semester drags on. She's really nice to her students though but I just cant stay interested in class. If you have supplements to your textbook, you should have plenty of exercise before her exams. I don't recommend her but she isn't bad at all. Take CIS 3367 as well so u can learn advanced features of ms excel. u need it.

She is so smart and easy going. All the people who gave her negative ratings are extremly lazy or stupid. At first i didn't like her either but once you do a LITTLE work on your own, the class becomes very easy.

I was first worried about taking this class, but i ended up with an A because it wasn't as difficult as everyone else said it was. A good percentage of the class got good grades.

Great Professor. Is an actually good professor from Baruch, very rare. Hard class but she knows how to cheat. I foolishly lazy and did bad on the test but this teacher curved and I passed. Other teachers in this school will fail you but whe just gives you your d-c and lets you go on with your life. failing this class would suck so take her ****es!

Excellent Professor. If you need a solid foundation of Finance, take this class. Extremely helpful on and off the class. Definitely not an easy grader. Her assigments are difficult than final exams of some professors. Highly recommended for Finance majors.

Pretty easy, you don't need the book if you understand the powerpoints. Goes a little slow, and fell behind schedule several times, but entertained student questions to a great extend! make sure you perfect your last hw try despite multiple attempts. difficulty: final > hw > midterm(s)

Great professor. She is willing to take the time to explain any confusion, and she does not make you feel silly for asking a question. She is quick to respond to emails and willing to meet outside of class if something is really stumping you. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Online homework too. attendance is not necessary but it's better if you attend. most of her students love going to her class...GREAT overall

She is the best professor for finance. I wish she taught all finance courses. She is hard,clear and very helpful inside and outside of class. She will try her best that you learn provided you put equal effort. Only people who want to learn and work hard should take her class. Not for lazy people.she is very clear in her lectures.

I would like to tell the person who wrote bad about professor hazarika that he/she is a looser. Man you dont even know what course you just finished. Its finance 3610 and not finance3710. This is college and if you want spoonfeeding stay at your mothers house. Exams are supposed to be hard and tricky then only you learn.again best finance professor

She does plenty of math examples in class. Need to spend $40 on online hw. 2 midterms, 1 cumulative final. attendance not required. make your own formula sheet for exams. do your homework and know your formulas. exams are all multiple choice. take her? i would recommend

Great Professor and great class. Not hard. But you have to study (surprise!). You definitely need to read the text (I read each chapter twice and made notes). 2 midterms (the second one is hard) and the final (easy). I got an A with a moderate effort.

She's one of the most helpful professors at Baruch. Make sure you get the online version of the book as you can use CTRL+F to find similar questions to the solutions she posts. I got a B+. First midterm is relatively easy. Second midterm is a killer. Final is also equally as difficult as the second midterm. I definitely recommend taking her!!!

highly recommended. don't believe the bad reviews, she allows a formula sheet, use of any calculator, and 2 formula sheets for the final. friends of mine wish they had taken her. 2 midterms 1 final, all doable if you do the homework and follow in class. redo examples in class night before the test and you'll get an easy A

Prof Hazarika is an excellent, enthusiastic and informative Professor. The subject matter is often tedious, however Prof Hazarika has a way of explaining even the most complex ideas. I do recommend study hard for this class, it is not easy. The practice exams and homework are g8.If you study, and listen to the Prof you can definitely receive an A.

1st midterm was easy, 2nd was hard and final was a killer. i kinda felt stupid after. Class average for midterms was 68 so go figure. you can write pretty much anything on the cheat-sheet she allows, so you better do it , because you will need it. The class was very hard itself. She will get off on financial tangents if prompted by the class. She moves through material very quickly, making it very tough for non-finance majors like me.

I got a sever back injury during this class, and could not take the final. She is so helpful that, she accommodated me by giving me an INC. I will return from California to clear this class out, so that I can transfer this fall. She knows her stuff very well, and is very clear explaining it. Take her and you will really learn something.

Let's face it, FIN3610 is not an easy class, she's clear, enthusiastic, down to earth, did a great job explaining the materials. If you want to pass this class, you gotta study, like put effort into it. She's good, take her if you are ready to learn something.

Pay close attention while she does calculations and do not be afraid to ask questions. She is super patient and will try her best to answer. Pay close attention to her slides and don't forgot the homeworks you did since final is cumulative. The final is a complete monster so pay close attention to material after the second exam. Great professor tho

First two midterms are alright, but the final is very difficult. I did study a lot and managed to get an A- in the class. Honestly not too bad of a class but you have to put the work in to get a good grade. Shes also very clear and does take all your questions so don't be afraid to ask.

Professor Haazarika's class was asynch for me. It was a pretty easy class and provided a lot of resources to study and complete the assignments. Professor was also very easy to get in contact with, and always replied to my emails on time. Truly an amazing professor!!!
