Great teacher! She is very clear in her expectations and pretty flexible. She may have jokingly told the class that they were idiots but not seriously. Some people just look for reasons to criticize, especially those that don't want to do the work. I am applying to the nursing program and want to learn as much as I can. I have learned a lot.

One of my favorite teachers at MCC and one of the few classes I actually enjoyed attending. She is very passionate about the subject and really knows what she is talking about. Her only flaw was she was too caring and let many people get away with not turning in work by constantly extending deadlines. Of course that is not really that bad.

Ms. Dubowsky was a great teacher. She gives many extra credit opportunities, and always answered my questions. She can be very sarcastic, but that is just her sense of humor. I took Vickrey in the fall and made a D, then took the same course with her and made a B. All of the test questions are the quiz questions. I recommend her to anybody.

Extra credit opportunities. This is not high school and she may tell you that once to remind you. Cuts slack when 'life' happens. she gets a bad rap when she doesn't 'tutor' you. Professors have personalities just like students do..

Professor Dubowsky has a huge amount of knowledge and is willing to do all she can to help her students IF they work hard to learn and succeed in the class. Very honest and blunt teacher. Basically gives you the test in quiz form, but you have to take the quiz about 50-100 times if you want to pass the test. Lets you study for the lab tests a lot and gives you the material and basically tells you over and over what is going to be on the test. Just go to class and study and u will do great!!!

Dubowski is very opinionated, but knowledgeable. If you act like a child, she will treat you like one. The work is challenging, but not overly so. As long as you show up and put in the effort you will do well. She will accept late assignments if you ask, allows unlimited practice quizzes to prepare for exams (do them 50-100 times).

Professor D is a very excellent teacher. If you do her quizes and all the homework and disscusion boards you can bird through her class. I took her for A&P I and II had no problems with her. She is very blunt but would you rather someone patting your back all the way are someone truly exposing you to life experiences.Very awesome Professor.

An easy A for anyone willing to do the work. It's not hard. I took it online while working full-time, taking care of a 1 yr old, & a Chemistry class on campus. I didnt do every assignment & got a B, likely because she was being generous, so I don't get all the poor comments. Take quizzes 50-100 times & you really CAN ace tests, grade is up to you.

Take the quizzes as many times as she says, print your results and study them and the tests will be fairly easy! Do the assignments, I actually learned from them. I could have made an A if I had done every single one and taken more quizzes. She might seem rude in emails but she's 100% fair. It seems like a lot of work but it's not at all hard.

NURSING STUDENTS-If you want to go into nursing school PREPARED, take this teacher! It's not an easy A, but she is an amazing professor. Her bluntness and directness definitely seem rude but don't be offended by her. She may not care about hurting your feelings, but she does care about your success! She's blunt but she's still an amazing person.

This class is a class that you can succeed in if you put in the work. She is to the point and makes sure that you know what she expects you to learn for tests. I got along with her well because I did my homework and worked hard! If you're there to learn she'll do all she can to help you succeed! This class went from dreaded to my most loved class!

She is a difficult teacher to get used to, but once you have learned her outline everything runs pretty smoothly. There are Labs to each unit except in Lecture 5, to prepare for the lecture/lab exams you should take the quiz 5x a day every day and study those questions. If you do what she is asking you wont have any issues.

She is very unorthodox. Not heavy at all on homework. Let it be known that this is a one of a kind teacher. She is very weird yet she teaches in an amazing way. Fun person in general

If you want to make sure you learn the material, this is the professor to take. She is not like other professors, but don't be fooled by her tough demeanor. Treat her with respect and she will do the same! If you are going onto higher level science or the medical field, this is the right professor for you.

Me Dubowsky was great. A&P is a difficult class, because it's supposed to be. I had no problem communicating with Me Dubowsky at any time, including when I was in Minnesota working. She was open to me finding a proctor while I was out of state, allowing me to keep up in class. She's an interesting individual, go with it!!!!!

This class is easy if you do all your work and take the practice quizzes at least 100x. Its all about memorizing for the actual test. I didn't use the book or the software that goes with it. The teacher is really understanding and always gets back to you right away. I highly recommend this teacher!

This was an awesome class. I love the way this teacher breaks things down. As long as you study and do the quizes. If you want an A, you'll need to put for the effort in this class. I loved it. :)

In all fairness, Sondra is really a tough good professor. She is thorough in the subject when you need her, she is an email away! I learn a lot in her online class and I got an A, but you have to study really well,

I took this class in summer I 2019. It was very difficulty. I did end up with an A, but that's just cause I didn't sleep most of the time to get the work done. I work 50-60 hours a week at 2 jobs, so doing all the extra stuff this professor makes you do in such a short time was hard. Think real hard before taking this class in the summer.

Professor Dubowsky did a great job by providing the exact information that we need to succeed in the class. She was very accessible outside of class and if you take her quizzes 100+ times you will ace the test.

How to get an A: Prof. Dubowsky literally tells you how. If you take her advice and do the lecture/lab quizzes at least 100 times, you'll memorize the answers and do fine on the test. If a person doesn't get an A, it's because they failed to do this. It's that simple. You have to put in the work. Respect her time. Helps to not be easily offended.

You'll need thick skin. A&P is not a breeze. She can be intimidating but don't take it personal. She cares in a tough way & actually means it when she says to call her ANY time. Show you take the class seriously & respect her time. Take her advice. Do the quizzes 100x & you'll do well. Don't fall behind. No freebies--have to work HARD for an A.

Dubowksy is a great professor and really knows her material. Yes it is a rigorous course but then again it is an anatomy class. Her grading scale is clear as day and you'll pass her class if you copy all the answers from the lab and lecture quizzes. There are 15 discussion boards and her exams/quizzes are non cumulative. Super easy class.

I took Dubowsky for A&P I and A&P II. She is straight to the point and her classes are easy. You don't even need to do any of the 5 homework assignments as long as you do 11/15 discussion boards and get A's on the quizzes and exams. Put the quiz answers into a quizlet and just copy from there. And nothing is proctored unlike other online classes.

I took A&P I as an 8 week course and A&P II in the summer. Be prepared to have NO LIFE if you take these courses. I made an "A" in both classes, but took each quiz at least 100 times (as instructed by professor). The class is hard, but the professor lays out everything you need to do so as long as you study/take quizes 100+ times you can make an A.

I really like Professer Dubowsky. Her class is TOUGH! But, she'll help you if it's within her power. Her expectations are reasonable. If you have a problem talk to her and she'll try to help. you might have to think outside the box on how to get through, take the quizes, get on quizlet, study study study! I have autism, if I can do it so can you!

I actually really like professor Dubowsky. Yes she is intimidating at first but as long as you stick to the syllabus and study the material given you will easily do well in this class. She is very gracious with grades as long as you communicate and show effort. Her demeanor is straightforward which I really liked. She means well but won't baby you.

Professor Dubowsky is not a hard professor like others say. She is very short, sweet, and straight to the point. She does require a lot of work, but as long as you have good time management, you will do well. She has unlimited quizzes for each lecture and are exactly like the exam so make sure you are taking the quizzes as much as possible.
