Sonia is so very bubbly, so if you have class with her early in the morning expect to be woken up, haha! There's a lot of work, but she does a great job teaching and helping you understand the material. Recommended

Sonia is awsome! She is really nice but really strict. Dont miss class, No excuses! You'll have lots of work but its not hard at all. As long as you show up to class and do your work you will pass this class. She is big on attendance and might seem hard at first, but she is a good teacher and you will enjoy this class

Sonia was the BEST IT1010 you could ever have . If you make the effort she will do everything in her power to insure you pass the class. She made a normally boring subject fun to learn.But one word of advice be on time for her class.I only wish all my profesors could be like Sonia. You would be Crazy not to take her class.

Sonia likes to keep students thinking about upcoming technology. She likes to give group projects, and homework every day. It can be time consuming, but it's fairly easy work. Go to class every time and an A is possible. There is a presentation, but it is easy and she grades fairly. Great Teacher!

She's cool, one of those do the work and you'll have a good grade classes. She's real nice, but she does have her higher then usual standards. I'd recommend you to take someone else unless you want to learn a little more then the others. I have no grudge with her, she's awesome, but hard.

Sonia is a wonderful teacher. Her syllabus was very clear and she makes sure everyone knows her expectations from the get go. She takes the time to teach her students and offers help if they are having trouble. I really enjoyed her class.

Sonia made IT1010 easy to pass. All you have to do is be in class everyday and do the work. She is patent and down to earth. Sonia?s classes are interesting and educational.

She is enthusiastic. Her classes are a lot of work though, it almost felt like she forgets that our world does NOT revolve around her class. When someone complained about the homework she said "it's college, get over it". This is an entry level class, not our thesis! She does politely answer questions, but her work practically took over my life.

This class was CAKE! She is a great teacher! Very helpful! I enjoyed being in her class. She always has fun little videos or web sites for us to see. There wasn't much homework...overall very easy!

For an entry level online class she demands far too much work. In any one week there are online questions to be answered, homework questions to turn in, project work to do, classmate evaluation responses, book chapter to read and videos/online material to go over. It's far too much work for this level of class. Massive Google fanboy also.

Sonia is a good teacher. The work in the class is a lot but if you read expectations for ALL DL clases, you are expected to spend a certain amount of time on all. The people that are complaining are just because they wanted an easy A without working. The same work is done in class. I spent about 3 hours a week on work, less than what is expected.

She'll really take the time to help you understand the material. She's a terrific teacher.

Iwas very worried at the start of this class I am 51 years old and come from a very different background. School is intimidating. Sonia worked with me every class, I came in for every office hours she was amazing took the time and patience to work with me, she was just freaking awesome, I enjoyed her class so much got her again next semester.

She is one of the best teachers I've ever had. I highly recommend her. Patient, clear, couldn't be more pleased. I took away exactly what I needed.

Although the class was great, I had a hard time getting Sonia to respond to e-mails. She did not grade the assignments very timely or in order. Her syllabus was confusing, most of the time it looked like she had cut and pasted the info as it would refer to previous Agendas. I am definitely not taking another class with her as the instructor.

I loved the class, the thing that impressed me the mt in our class there was 9 of us, there were 2 students in the class a young guy and an old navy guy, she spent so much time with them and there questions I was so impressed with her patience not one time did shyell look in the book, I would take her class again in a heartbeat and recommend her

Absolutely love Sonia Crawford she is an excellent teacher. She pushes students to be the best they can be and tells it how the real world is out there if you want to be a designer. This is my second class with her and I would take more with her if I could. I highly recommend anybody taking her class if you want to be successfull.

I wish I could take her again she loves to teach and loves to see the light come on when the student gets it. She will find 10 different ways to teach it if you dont get it she is awesome.

This was a great class. There is a lot to do, but you learn a lot as well. It teaches you time management and file management. Taking this with multiple classes could be tough, but if you set up a good schedule and do the work, the work load will not seem so daunting. In the end I learned a lot, had fun doing it and saw some very creative pieces.

She is an excellent instructor. She is very responsive and fair to student issues including questions, grades, etc. The videos in class are an excellent tool for helping students prepare for the future including employment. There are alot of assignments in class, but that is a function of the class and not the instructor.

Visualizing Technology Quiz's not word for word from book. Answers are open to interpretation. SFS Grader projects are from book but not word for word. Downloadable instructions are different and create confusion.

Shes a good teacher. Needs to explane how she use's blackbord. Videos were cool some were a bit long winded.

This class was definitely a challenge for me and would a lot more challenging for people who are struggling. I think the videos helped a lot, but there was not always clear instructions on how to do everything.. so do not try to finish all your work at the last minute you will not survive trust me.

She's a great professor. Every week she'd make audio messages that worked along with the agenda, so you knew exactly what was expected. The assignments themselves are pretty easy, and fun too. Definitely take a class with her, even if it's not on your degree program. It's worth the money and time. You'll learn a lot too!

lots of work. can be done if you've only have 12 hrs. more than 12hrs and you'll hurt your GPA. her assignments will bleed together. you'll get confused and get dates mixed up. one Sonia class per semester. I knew nothing about the course. it's a hard race. three weeks in I knew it was too much but I stayed. maybe not a good idea but I'm not QUITER

I like being in a few of Sonia classes when I took them and looking to being in another one .

She's Really good, even though she does not accept any late assignments. She Knows the material really good, I like her a lot. I will take Any of her classes again.

Sonia is one of the best instructors I've had at CNM. This class was tough but VERY insightful on how the real world is going to be as a graphic designer. Sonia warned us that this class is not for lackadaisical students and she was right. The homework was mostly fun -- lots of opportunity to show your design skills.!

Sonia was a great instructor. I took her online Photoshop class. It was very time consuming, but the projects she gave were very helpful to learn. She inspires creativity. I never met her in person, but she was quick to respond with questions via email or message. It was a great class; I wouldn't say easy. This was my first online class, though.

The way that this class is taught is so good! I really liked the way Sonia teaches and although it's not the easiest, you do learn so much! She responds back right away and helps you when you need it. She responds fast too! Definitely going to take more of her classes in the future!

I've had Sonia for several online classes. She's hard but fair. Photoshop's an intense program and takes practice. Projects help reinforce skills that pertain to the text. They do require a great deal of time but they are worth it. She does not accept late work, so plan your time and participate in discussions. Great instructor! Be ready to work!

Sonia is not for the faint of heart or the inexperienced designer. But, you will take her classes regardless if your both or either of those things because: credits. She is extremely particular and will LAY A TON on you, so be prepared to crank out extra hours of work into your week if you want to succeed. And, yes, you can succeed if you try!

It's early in the semester, but from day one I knew Sonia was on top of things. Get ready for long agendas, they're organized but daunting. PRINT YOUR AGENDAS, FOLLOW THEM RELIGIOUSLY. Pay attention to save/submission information. This isn't a class to put off until the end of the week. Lots of work. Sonia is very organized and strict.

The instructor was very informative during her podcats, so I was making sure to follow along and do things the way that she wanted it done. It also gave me a chance to explore my own ideas by use of her suggestions on how to do things when she would put in other source material that wasn't directly from the book. That was a nice touch.

I love Sonia! She is an awesome teacher, but get ready for way too much homework. If you can keep up with her demands, you will do great. Also, I was never clear on which assignments were due each week, because the checklist was unclear, but if you email her, she responds promptly. Overall, lectures were inspiring and assignments were fun.

Professor Crawford is a teacher who cares about her teaching and her students. Yes, you will work in class but that is the best way to learn. She is fair and encouraging.

She does well. Adobe may be the industry standard but as of right now there are tons of better programs so I think she should give full freedom to use other programs

Sonia makes you work hard, but it's very worth it. She's very organized and her agendas are detailed. She's a big stickler on following directions to the detail, so make sure you turn in everything she asks for. No busywork; every assignment had a purpose. Don't slack off for this class - it can be a huge boost to your portfolio!

Great instructor. Always giving great advice and makes you think about your digital career. Gave out agenda with due dates which helps stay on track. Gives lots of work but is worth it in the end for portfolio. Intimidating at first but just manage your time and youll get thought it. Always showed our work for feedback from classmates/instructor.

Shes a really good professor and really helps if you need it. She is honest with you and will help you if your willing to be helped. She gave me many opportunities to re do my work so I can pass the class if she can tell your not putting effort in she wont let you . If you dont turn in your work you wont pass and I almost found out the hard way

Sonia is tough and makes you put in work. With sonia pushing me in one semester my work improved and I learned how much more to respect the teacher that actually pushes you to learn and shows you the real world task are not easy. Thank you Sonia, It was a tough sesmester but I did learn alot and improved alot in my work.

Sonia genuinely cares to prep her students for the real world. Out of all my digital design classes, I've grown the most in hers because she really pushes me past my comfort zone. If you're serious about learning, and doing well in the real world. She is a great professor. This isn't the first class I've taken with her.

Her placement of grades was a little bit weird but otherwise, she was a great instructor. There are a lot of assignments but they are very creative and stimulating. It's evident that she puts a ton of effort into her class. I wish she taught more FDMA courses.

She is not my favorite teacher. I think Sonia takes on too many classes and she ends up stressed out and so she complains and yells on the podcasts and it's a downer. The problem with this is she makes mistakes too. Her courses take time but are rich with material. Study the requirements carefully, do extra credit, be on time. Not much leeway.

This class will make you work, but you learn so much and actually get a lot of creative freedom. She's always giving feedback and she is very organized so you know exactly what is due and when. Definitely recommend taking a class with Professor Sonia!

I did this class online but she has a podcast describing what you're going to learn for the week which was easy to use since I work all the time. Its a very fun class and i would highly recommend.
