Sonia was great! Took this class over the summer and really enjoyed it! You don't need the book at all, I never did any reading. Just print out the powerpoints and go to class to fill them in. Study them well before an exam, and you'll pass with flying colors! I got 100+ on all of the exams! Plus there's EC! The assignments are also very easy!

Fantastic teacher! I loved her and the class! She explains things really well and doesn't make you feel dumb for asking questions and always reexplains. You do not need the book, just print off the pp off blackboard and show up to class. The tests aren't super easy, just study and you'll do fine :)

Sonia is a very good teacher. Yes her tests are pretty difficult, if you don't study. Even then, I completely failed one of her tests and still got an A in the class. Also gives a lot of extra credit. She's incredibly nice and relates everything to stories which really helps since some aspects of nutrition are really hard. TAKE HER.

Despite what people say, she's a really good teacher. Don't expect to slide through the course w/ minimal effort. The tests ARE difficult but, provide a great challenge. She's very willing to help out. This class was not easy but I earned an A. If you do the work, study for tests and are willing to put in the effort you'll do great. Take her class!

Sonia is so helpful and caring. Shes honestly a really good teacher. Ive learn so much from her class and it was fun. The tests are very hard thought don't expect to get a B or even a C if you didn't study. You have to study and read the Notes from lecture! Other then the quizzes and tests the class is really fun and goes by fast!

She is really nice and very approachable. The material was harder than I expected and the class definitely isn't an easy A like I thought it would be. She's a good teacher but I think her tests/quizzes are too hard in comparison to what she teaches in class.

Sonia is a really good teacher and the way she explaines the information makes it very easy to retain the info, it's also not very hard to listen to what she has go say given she is very attractive and you can't help but not stop looking at her.

Seriously, BEST teacher I've had. She is really kind and clear when she teaches. She doesn't review information unless you ask, but as long as you show up and take notes you will easily pass. tests always match what she covers in classes.

Professor Klenner was amazing! She is really passionate about what she is teaching. Made the class very interesting. Lectures were straight-forward - TAKE NOTES! Assignments were easy, tests were exactly the material from lecture. If you study, you will do fine in this class.

Sonia is amazing! She is so easy to listen to and her lectures never bore me. She has a great sense of humor and is passionate about nutrition. Her work is pretty easy except the weekly online quizzes can be a bit challenging. But it's an easy class and a great instructor! I highly highly recommend Sonia, she's great :)

Sonia was so wonderful! Class was easier than expected. Fun assignments, easy online tests. She's very enthusiastic about teaching, she keeps the material interesting I was never bored in class. She gives multiple extra credit options that can be easily done nothing outrageous.

Easy class, had it in the morning and woke up just to see the teacher. she's strangely passionate about this topic which makes no sense as any 8th grader could comprehend this. if yu want an easy A take her!!

SHE IS AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL. You will never be confused about something and she will relate the class to your everyday life. There are online quizzes but those are simple and will prepare you for the final which is also pretty easy. As long as you show up and take notes you'll pass.

Sonia was always very well organized and her lectures were interesting. Online chapter quizzes and a project she breaks into four segments. She's super cute and offers a bunch of extra credit.

By far one of the easiet classes ever taken. Gives lots of easy extra credit that I definitely recommend to do. Theres a quiz for each chapter and she drops the lowest as well. While lectures can be long and boring she makes them a little bit more bearble.

Definitely the easiest class I've taken here. All tests and final are online, and only a couple of homework assignments. Sonia is really nice and passionate about the subject and lectures the whole class. If you miss a lecture you can just read the chapter and you will ace the quiz.

She's a really great professor! She really loves teaching this subject and she clearly explains the material. The assignments are relatively simple, as well as the quizzes. Take advantage of all of the extra credit opportunities!

She is a great teacher! Her class is very straightforward. Lectures every class period but you can print her power point slides off canvas and follow along that way. Very few assignments, just a diet project broken up into four sections, like two crosswords, and like two worksheets. All quizzes are online and only 20 questions. Recommend taking it!

I'm in sonia's nut10 right now. she's a very nice lady but this class is pretty difficult. she has online homework due the day of the test and she has a 1 project that is simple but lasts the entire semester. So far I've showed up to class every single day but her tests are hard. multiple choice but I've barley passed them with a 85%.good luck!

Sonia is the sweetest teacher you will ever have! She really does care about her students. She offers lots of extra cedit opportunities. Her exams are difficult and she's aware of it, she curves the exams that most of the class had difficulties on. Which is most of them. If you study the powerpoints and do the easy extra credit, you will be fine!

Very clear. Incredibly easy with a biology, microbiology, anatomy, and physiology background. Easy exams. Very fine.

As I have been out of school for over 30 years, I was skeptical about a classroom environment but knew it was the best way for me to absorb the information. Sonia was be the best lecturer I could have asked for. Her classes were so informative and engaging that I could not help but be interested. She is also organized. I highly recommend Sonia.

Sonia was super sweet & always super helpful. She made it clear that she always does her best to help her students get the best grade possible & gave lots of extra credit opportunities. I will say that she does give quite a bit of homework but none of it is hard at all. Make sure to ask questions if you're confused so you get a good grade on work!

Sonia is an AMAZING professor! She made the Nut. 10 class very interesting and applicable to everyday life. This class was very heavy on lecture material and her tests were hard (average score 70-85%) but she was upbeat and energetic. She also offered extra credit. The textbook assignments were very easy.

I took Nutrition over summer and actually enjoyed this class! Sonia is an AWESOME teacher and is available whenever you need her, even on weekends! I highly recommend her. She is super sweet to and understands if you have anything going on in your personal life.

Sonia Klenner's nutrition class was my first college class, let me tell you I didn't even feel like I was in college, it was so easy. You didn't need to take notes because all of her lectures were on canvas, we rarely used the textbook everything was online. Tests are easy if you study, pay attention to lectures you'll pass. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Sonia is an amazing teacher. I have 100% in the class & did no extra credit. This isn't to say the class isn't challenging. It's not a science course, but it's definitely work and a lot of things to remember. It'd be a tougher class with a full load and a science course on your plate, but her lectures are outstanding despite tough tests. Fav class!

Sonia is SO sweet and genuinely cares about her students and their grades. She also absolutely LOVES nutrition which makes her lectures way more interesting because she wants you to love nutrition as well. As long as you keep up on your work and study for tests this is an easy A!

I LOVED this class. I will admit, you have to dedicate a lot of time for the assignments and study for the tests but it's manageable! TAKE THE CLASS ONLINE! It gives you the flexibility to work on everything when you want- you have 10 days to do it. LearnSmart, 3 discussion posts, and an activity each week. Sonia is so sweet and is quick to reply.

I am honestly shocked that Sonia is not at least a 4. Her tests are such a breeze and people say that "nothing from the slides are on the test" but its quite the contrary, all I did study was the slides. People who give her negative reviews generally are just not willing to put in the work or don't know how to. And if the latter, ask for help smh.

I took her online course. We had weekly discussions, reading assignments, and homework activities and 5 exams and 2 projects. The final was cumulative. The assignments were easy but not the exams. Lots of extra credits (30 points). She is a fair grader. You will do fine if you read and put in the time to do the readings and assignments.

She's an absolute doll and almost made me want to change my major to nutrition. Definitely, need to show up and take notes because exams can be quite difficult but if you understand the material you'll be golden. Lecture slides on canvas with lots of resources and extra credit as well.

Prof Klenner was a great teacher to have for Nutrition! She was very clear about assignments & the exams were solely based on lectures & slides. She offered extra credit & was always willing to help & answer any questions students have. Most important information is on lecture slides so make sure to study slides for exams.

this was my favorite class & I loved Sonia! so sweet, caring, respectful and truly cared about you succeeding in the class. 3 10 point options for xcredit and all very easy. tests were made from lecture slides which were all online, yes a lot of info but everything was seen before. Connect hw seems like alot but it was very easy and manageable:)

Her class is interesting and enjoy to learn. Her lecture are useful. Have an extra credit. She has nice personality and caring. If you have questions when attending her class. You can ask her questions. She always joyful to respond.

She is extremely cheerful and kind, making all of the classes really fun. She uses really good analogies to help the students understand, and she is passionate about her subject. Teaches very important concepts and does not shame people for making poor eating choices or push the idea that you MUST be healthy all the time. Very approachable! :)

Sonia is kind and caring. This class an easy A. Her rating should be a 5, shes not a difficult teacher. There was a lot of reading for sure, but the tests were fair and the grading on discussion boards was fair. I worked hard in the class but only spent 1-2 hrs a week max on homework. Print/study her PowerPoints and youll be fine.

Sonia is one of the best professors I've had at Sierra. Her 3.5 rating is quite a shock to me. She's very helpful, tests are not too challenging, always gives feedback, and enjoys further conversations with students on any of the topics covered. 30 points extra credit maximum for this class with lots of different options.

This was honestly one of the best classes I've taken. She provides ample opportunities for extra credit and her class has a very manageable workload, allowing students actually enjoy learning. You can tell she's passionate about what she teaches, and she's very encouraging. As long as you study her lecture slides thoroughly, the tests are a breeze.

Having Sonia as my professor made all the difference in this class. It is a lot of material to go through and I definitely had to study sometimes, but she offers tons of extra credit and is so fun. This class was definitely a bit harder with the homework and reading, but it is very manageable if you arent working. This professor is very helpful and caring so anything you email her about shell get back to you very fast. she can help you with stuff that is also outside of class, if you are having hard days, shes the one to talk to!

This class was a lot of information and you definitely had to read a lot. I was working and took as much courses as possible in fall 2020, the course was not super easy. Luckily Sonia is an excellent teacher and very friendly. Great communication. Discussion boards were actually useful. Expect to get a grade equivalent to the work you put in.

Sonia is the sweetest! I actually took Nutrition 5 (food prep) and it was really fun! Her lectures are light and relatively simple but be sure to take notes. No midterm or final! We made lots of great recipes learned kitchen skills that will be helpful in life. Even if you're not a nutrition major, it would still be a great class to take.

Course is quite time-consuming. LOTS of hw per week, with due dates spaced only 3-4 days apart. Sonia herself is very kind and helpful, and will not hesitate to support you however you need; she responds to emails quickly and tries to accommodate your needs as much as possible. Lots of busy work but otherwise fun class

Sonia is such a sweet professor and really cares about her students success. If you aren't able to come to class for something or need an extension, she will give it to you. You have assignments per week but they come from the textbook and aren't super difficult. The exams are manageable as long as you study and if you need help just ask Sonia.

Y'all don't listen to the people dissing on Sonia she is legit the best teacher I have ever had! I did her full semester class and i would totally recommend everyone to take it for fun or for your major. She is so kind and understanding and not very much homework at all. I just can't get over how nice and caring she is, she's awesome!

I really enjoyed having her as my professor! She is very passionate about nutrition and is incredibly knowledgeable. We had lectures every day except for test days, but she always went a good, slow pace when explaining what was on the slideshow. She had us buy an online textbook but you don't have to read it. I barely read it and I got an A.

Sonia is such a down to earth and caring human:) the class was very easy. I was able to balance it with human anatomy and 2 other classes just fine. She has a whole schedule when everything is due and makes the lectures interesting and fun to learn. One of the best teachers I have had! the homework is super easy and all answers are in the lectures!
