By far one of the best teachers I have had. The subject matter is tough and she leads you right through it with ease. She is very patient and willing to work with you.

This professor is great. She is very undrestanding and helpful, gives great advice for subject matter and is very clear about the difficult course topics of this class. I would definately take another class with Midgette.

VERY EASY!!!! I passed the class with a 102% just by showing up and doing what she asked. Not hard and she will give you the answers if you are nice to her. Because I passed so high, she let me leave 3 weeks early!!!!!

This class has got to be the best biology class available. She is so easy and her discussions are pretty interesting. She doesn't bore you with all the in depth bio stuff. Don't take her if you need to know a lot about bio. She is easy to pass and I thought the class was awesome!

I had her for life and environment. At midterm, my average was 112 A++! How do you get a 112 average in a college course?..I don't know. I barely did any work. She gives a ridiculous amount of extra credit that you can just change during class. Also, if you add pictures of matthew mcconaughey in anything...she'll love you! Easiest class ever!

If you are a sceince major don't take this class. for everyone else sign up with her. She is GREAT!! She actually lets you ask question during a lecture. She cares about all of her students. Miss Midgette was a pretty wild teacher. I had her for my first semester of college and she was, contrary to many teachers that I have had, what I considered to be a "normal" modern college professor: liberal, in many ways morally neutral, and somewhat careless.

Took this teacher for the summer course!!! I finished it with an A+!!! Professor M. is an AMAZING TEACHER and if you can get her it will be well worth it! Pay attention to her and the tests and lab practicals will be a breeze!!! Her method of teaching is unlike any other and thats what makes this class.

Very helpful teacher gives lots of extra credit. Tough subject but she makes it fun. Must really apply yourself. The way to get good grades in her Concepts Of Biology class is to be so creative with your projects that no one else in class could possibly come up with your methods. Employ a variety of ways to teach when presenting, such as bringing in props, making home movies, creating memory games, and making models.

My favorite teacher from this semester. She is 70 and looks and acts like Dolly Parton. Very easy going, take each day as it goes type. You will have no problem passing. You do not need the book, do not buy it!

Took in Fall 2013. Ms. Midette is a GREAT teacher. Makes Biology fun to learn, uses a lot of real world examples to bring it down to basics, etc. She has several quizzes but they are nothing that is a surprise. No Textbook needed.She gives you all the handouts necessary. I thoroughly enjoyed her and her teaching class. HIGHLY recommend!

No book, gave handouts and notes on anything that would be on a test or quiz. Gave lots of opportunities for extra credit. Very funny, and made things easy to understand. Gave extra help to the students that needed it. Final was optional if you had an A or B in class. Take her!

Best professor I've ever had. Give a crazy amount of extra credit and the tests are a breeze if you study the handouts and notes she gives you. She cracks a lot of jokes and gets off topic a lot, but she makes the class fun. Labs are simple and any homework she gives is too. Just review your notes, do your work and the extra credit and you'll pass.

Best teacher I have ever had. She was never upset if you were late to class or needed extra time on tests. She barely gives homework, but gives extra credit ALL THE TIME. She is really nice and easily the best teacher I had. She normally goes on and on about life, and lets out like an hour early. Easiest 4 credits of my life. Would take again.

My 53 yo mother going through college for the first time was nervous to take this class, I pushed her to take Midgett and she passed with an A+ and became personal friends with her.
